"The sprawling venue, located in the former Sears space, fills 48,000 square feet with a Night Shift taproom and beer hall, several private dining spaces, and over 40 rooms that hold over 100 physical and mental challenges with various themes. Geared at groups of adults, the challenges include everything from swinging on ropes over a floor of (LED) lava to navigating through laser beams to steal a jewel at a museum." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal

We had a ton of fun here. I do wish they were a little more clear on what each room was supposed to do. And several rooms weren’t working correctly. Other that that, a great time.

Very fun place to visit! Make sure you read the instructions before going into the rooms because my group kept forgetting to. Good exercise! I hurt my finger on one of the rooms though and now my nail is bruised severely, but other than that I had fun! I got one alcoholic drink and to me it was sour, but the food looked and smelled yummy. A LOT of kids.

Google
Level 99 is awesome!! They have a wide variety of tasty food and a great selection of unique drinks. Each of their games are well designed and will keep you coming back for more. It can get pretty busy on the weekend, but weekdays are pretty chill and you can enter as many rooms as you want. Definitely make a trip out here!

At level 99 the player starts by signing a waiver, after paying the entrance fee you will be entitled to a special velogan bracelet which provides access to all puzzles you could solve in the 2 hour slot. This place is similar to escape the room games suitable for players from age 7 to 99+. The challenges are categorized by physical, mental, observance, and competitiveness ability. Some really need monkey climbing abilities, which kids do best. Recommended to have some adults to coordinate the game play minimum 2. Once you get the hang of it, each game is a 3 star challenge for every objective complete you gain a star and sometimes you also gain puzzle pieces which you can use to redeem beverage, souvenir, and credit for next time. With 2 hours honestly isn't enough for any one, even for a genius as it will be tiring with any physical challenges. The floor is Lava is here as well for those kids who would have their dream come true. I hosted a corporate event here, and the menu and food selection were excellent, but they can do slightly better with the service to ensure all participants are served. Besides the games they do have a restaurant and serve alcoholic drinks. and plenty of sittings. The game designers and artists here all deserve a pad on the back, excellent execution and so much fun. Strongly recommended and good place for older kids to hang out.

Google
A bit pricey for 2 hrs and 2 ppl but it was so much fun and tiring. It's like you sign in and then go inside the room and try to pass the mission they have you do. There's a twist you don't know what you are supposed to do and you'll have to figure out how to the task.

It’s like an escape room, a gym, and a reality show all had a chaotic baby. I spent 90 minutes crawling, solving puzzles, and questioning my IQ—basically CrossFit for your brain. Left sweaty, humbled, and oddly proud of beating a room designed for 12-year-olds.

This place can be pretty fun when it’s not crowded. However this particular day we only went for the food. We ordered Burgers Fries and pizza. The truffle fries and Korean Burger were pretty good but no one enjoyed their pizza very much. It definitely gives frozen pizza vibes being very thick, dry and tasteless.

This is a really fun establishment. The check-in process can be a bit cumbersome, especially if you had previously purchased tickets or are purchasing tickets for someone else. However, the staff at the front were always patient and ready to help out. The layout is great. I like how they had food available for purchase, loads of seating/rest areas and hand sanitizers all around. There is free ice water available at all times and they never ran out of water nor cups while I was there. The washrooms are surprisingly clean for a place like this. I wish there were more mini challenges for single players though, rather than always needing at least one other person. It's helpful to be able to do something alone or tackle a challenge while waiting for a room to open up. Also, I don't know how many people actually use the Art Hunt boards but they would be more useful as information kiosks where patrons can update their avatars, check their minutes, etc without scrambling to do so with a few mins before each game. Though I didn't see anyone use the art hunt screens, the art all around IS really awesome and worth a look all on its own! I wish there was another way they could draw attention to it instead of those screens. At the end, there is a station where scissors are provided to cut the bracelet and I'm hoping the chip portion gets reused to avoid waste.

Yelp
I came here for 4 hours for my birthday and had a blast! Similar to Boda Borg but different in some ways (overall less challenging to figure out the rooms), Level 99 is perfect if you love solving puzzles and physical challenges. We had a group of 7 so we mix and matched groups since rooms maxed out to a max of 6. There were so many rooms to choose from and some fun 2-player mini games out in the open areas. There is a bar and food which was actually really good to refuel. (pro tip: they allow you to pause your time, so pause while you're eating, going to the bathroom etc, to maximize fun!) The staff were very nice and helpful. We were there11a-4pm on a Saturday, mostly did not have much wait time for rooms until the last hour or so. Highly recommend!

Hanna H.

Yelp
Love this place!! It's such a unique concept, it's difficult to find anything like it in the area! Great for group events and friend get togethers since you can have up to 6 people in a game room. I love how there is such a great variety in games. At the game pad where you scan your bracelet, it tells you the general skills that the game requires and small hints if needed. The sign up process is also very easy! You select to play for either a 2 hr period, 4 hr period, or all day. Make sure to also log in with an account that you remember your email and password for! Since it follows you during consecutive visits to level 99. Although this is a bit aways from the city, there is plenty of parking at the Natick Mall and it is easy to find once you find the food court at the Natick Mall. Overall, definitely recommend for groups 3+! Can't wait to go back again.

Yelp
What a blast! This was my first time visiting Level 99 and I had an amazing time. They are located in Natick, MA (Boston) inside Natick Mall. Very inviting entrance that makes you want to enter. I was invited to participate in a team event at Level99. This was a great decision by my manager because we all had a great time. I loved the fact that they had so many different rooms each interesting and fun. Each room gives you a two-minute timer to complete your task as a team. Bring your mental and physical skills. There were rooms I thought I couldn't complete...so I felt pretty good about myself when I did. There is free water in the center of the facility, which is nice. There is a bar which includes a pretty nice food menu. I ordered the nachos which were good and everyone at the table made positive comments about their food choices. The entire staff was pretty cool and very helpful. I hope I get the opportunity to come here again.

Yelp
It was my first time coming to Level99 and it was super fun! We came less than an hour before close and still were able to experience 10 of the game rooms! Some of the game rooms are more difficult than others but I loved most of them. Looks like you're able to order food here too and there's tables to sit down to eat. We did the 1 hour option to play & they have options for 2 hr and all day access. Looking forward to coming back here soon & probably plan for a day when I can spend more time so I can try the rest of the game rooms they offer.

Chris T.

Yelp
First time finally making it down to try this place out! Too bad we got here late and only could play for an hour, but it's nice to see they have price options for 1hr, 2hr and all day! It's pretty fun concept of games and challenges. A little bit for everyone. Some tasks are definitely teamwork oriented, brain power games, others are like carnival games and some are physical games. We were on limited time so i definitely want to come back and get to play at least every room once. And try to beat the harder rooms gain points and star finishes. They also have a full cafeteria style eating area that you can order food from. L99 also has free ice cold lemon water for free by the eating zone because youll definitely get thirsty after a bunch of challenges are completed! Will be back with more time available! The setup, decor and room orientation is nice and themed per room! I enjoyed it

Ellie C.

Yelp
What a great experience to go to with friends! The rooms were engaging, low-stress, and fun. I really liked the concept of mini challenge rooms, which let you explore different themes and types of puzzles/experiences all in one place. Much more low stakes than a traditional escape room since each run is so short and you can keep repeating rooms if you want, but just as much bonding and adrenaline on success! There is an attached night shift brewing restaurant next door, which helped us fuel up beforehand but there are also food and drinks (paid for) and water (free) inside to help you hydrate or fuel up during.

Yelp
Had way too much fun at my recent visit to Level 99. We went as a group of 7 adults right at 10am on the weekend and I'm really glad we got there early- the place quickly filled up (with both adults and children.) Located within the Natick Mall, this place is huge- step into the puzzle rooms and test your physical/mental/puzzle solving skills! Make sure to have hand sanitizer handy or use the stuff they provide because you're going to be touching A LOT of things. I recommend getting there early before it gets too... grimy. Some of the physical challenges were really tough- there were quite a few where you needed. to jump to be able to touch the button and for my full 62 inches of height, some were impossible (unless I got lifted up onto someone's shoulders....) I like how when you need to wait for a room, you can see how long the wait time is. Two hours flew by and it was also a great workout.

Yelp
I just spent $140 for four 14yo boys to go to level 99 and I am being held hostage here because the attendants will not let me leave. I can't even go to the mall and I'm stuck here in this hellhole for 2 hours.

Muntazim M.

Yelp
It's really fun. I like the mini games. I'm glad that it's possible to get 3 starts every time, though not easy. Saturday evening visit at 10 PM was much better than Saturday afternoon which was really busy. I wish I could go every week but I just need to find some friends who will go more often! It is nicer at slower times, minimal wait times, can play many more games in a given 2 hours. At busier times, every game has a wait. The food was not bad, first time we went, we were hungry. We got the Mac and cheese and beyond burger, tooth were tasty and service was fast, though I think we will stick to just coming to play games in the future.

Peter P.

Yelp
So much fun and the food and beers are great too! Make sure you bring comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, and lots of mental energy!

Richard P.

Yelp
Overall: been twice and both the food and fun match the hype! Food: the Detroit style pizza is one hefty sheet pan style pizza. Crisp at the edges and fluffy airy away from them. The chicken bacon ranch was absolutely delish and worth fueling up before/during your extravaganza. Rooms: my recommendation is a team of 4 to get the most out of as many rooms as possible. Some would benefit from less but never from more. No spoilers but come prepared for quite the exercise and excitement.

Annie A.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this place. The way it's set up, sort of like a video game where you rack up points from playing all the games that are also like.. mini portals! And you can customize your profile. There's little sticker quests you also get to hunt for. The games are super challenging, and fun. Even more fun in bigger groups! The food was delicious!! Worth the money. Parking was free, the service was also good, people were around to answer questions! I definitely recommend going for the whole day, you won't even realize how fast time flies cause of how fun it is. 11/10!

Yelp
The best thing we did around Boston area! It was so fun! Our group split in two and really loved it. The 2 hours we spent went by very fast. I think it's a great and better alternative to an escape room and the rooms were so well thought out and clever. There's bit of something for everyone. I appreciate their water station in the middle - much needed. Definitely hoping they expand to other states. Our favorite rooms were the Ninja themed ones and the record one and superhero was very fun as well.

Yelp
Stumble upon the idea of doing Level99 on a Saturday rainy afternoon. It wasn't my first choice, but it was a good one. It's sort of a confusing process to get in to the game area and checked in. When you arrive, you wait in a queue to receive a wristband that is full of tech for each game. Then, you proceed to the virtual waivers to sign, account creation, etc. Super easy process, but a little confusing at first. Once we go through the tunnel to the game area, we stop to put our bags in a free locker. That was a nice touch, especially with them not up charging the locker! When we first walked in, I was in shock. There were so many people. Quite overwhelming. I was under the impression that this place was an obstacle course and not a mind, strategy, and communication game arena for say. That threw me off, but it was a fun challenge. I always had a smile on my face while in each room. Prepare to wait in lines your entire visit! It was unexpected. I did appreciate the abstract art, games, and wait times posted, however. Due to the over capacity & continuous lines, it honestly dragged my excitement down. It was fun, but I do care to do it again.

Melanie H.

Yelp
Level99 is such a clever concept and so fun! Contrary to its name, there aren't 99 rooms, but they do have an ample amount of escape ish type rooms that have you do different interactive tasks! And while you're waiting for a room to clear up, I love that they have put out a bunch of mini games to play with a partner too! It's similar to boda Borg in the sense that there are multiple rooms to "solve" but is less thinking and some without purpose but just an activity to do. Some of the rooms are fun situations that I've always wanted to be in or try, like the toxic waste room, the spy lasers, or figuring out where to plate characters for dinner! They really let you live out your childlike fantasies and keep you coming back for more because you have an account and badges/things you can unlock! Also, don't sleep on the food!! The pizza was surprisingly so good!

Kit D.

Yelp
Honestly, out of all of the entertainment/game room activities I've ever participated in, I'd rank Level 99 bronze. In other words-- I'm glad I experienced it, but I wouldn't do it again. Here's why: For starters, the check-in process can be quite nightmare-ish, especially if you're playing with minors (excessive waivers, confusing wording within said waivers, and just time-consuming overall). On a Saturday afternoon, it took about 25 minutes. Also, it is pricey for what you're getting. $35 per person for 2 hours of gameplay is reasonable-- however, you'll spend a good chunk of that time waiting on the rooms to be open. On a mid-crowded day, I'd say we spent about 30% of that time waiting. Rooms can require up to 5 minutes of waiting time. Additionally, I would say the game rooms cater best to ages 10-16. For younger children, some of the rooms may not be super safe or suitable. Also, it would be a more fun experience if the instructions on how to play each game were more clear, as you get 30 seconds to prepare upon entering each room, which is not enough for some rooms. A lot of our failures came from the lack of understanding of instructions on how to play, not because of actual gameplay. Other than that, I will say some of the games are quite enjoyable. The obstacles are challenging, but not impossible. I enjoyed honing my parkour skills. The dodgeball pit in the middle is also super fun.

Christie L.

Yelp
Level99 is basically a big open space with small themed escape rooms. It's a cool concept and it's similar to Boda Borg in Malden, but with some differences. Level99 is more tech-y where you make an account and use a wristband to track your progress over all your visits. You swipe your wristband to enter each room and can customize your profile and gain points for prizes like snacks, pretzels, t-shirts and water bottles. This is pretty cool to see how you progress and how well you do for each game. The games were mostly physical, but there are some that focus on mental games and collaboration with your team members. I personally like the creativity behind Boda Borg's rooms more: they are longer and build more upon the theme of the room. Level99 rooms is often a simple task, repeated in increasing difficulties. Things to note: The game rooms weren't enclosed on top so it did make it hard to complete some of the games that required listening for sounds or communicating to team members across walls. Great for air circulation and not feeling claustrophobic, but not so great for playing some games. There is a big area for food and drinks. A fellow Level99 player shared some point with us and gave us pretzels and popcorn which were tasty. The other foods looked really good too.

Justin S.

Yelp
First time at Level 99 today and I had a great time! Wasn't sure what to expect when I heard my office was going to an escape room, but everyone had a blast. Instead of being locked in a single room, Level 99 had tons of small challenge rooms ranging from 3-5min with a bunch of different themes. Some more challenging than others this would be fun for all ages. They are opening a new location in Providence, and I can't wait to check it out. Keep up the good work Level 99!

Joy G.

Yelp
I'm the outlier Yelp review - I found everything about Level99 to be highly chaotic and disorganized, with most of our 2-hour allotment spent waiting in a line to access a room. Unless you're a kid or you're with a kid, I say skip and save your eardrums from all the screaming and piercing sounds. Or go on an off-day. Definitely do not go on a weekend afternoon. The massive reservation line to enter was our first tip-off. We were given a bracelet with no information on what to do with it. Then you have to put in all your information and sign a waiver on kiosks that were glitchy. Expect to wait, wait, wait to get into a room that boots you out faster than you were waiting in line. Surfaces were off-puttingly sticky from all the hands. I do have to give props for how all the rooms were well-built, given how much wear and tear the place must go through on a daily basis. And the rooms labeled "physical" ended up being pretty fun, because you don't need to spend a lot of valuable time figuring out what you have to do. Towards the end of our 2-hour stay, we ended up getting into the spirit but I'm not chomping at the bit to come back here. Boda Borg in Malden offers something similar but the atmosphere was much more pleasant.

Em B.

Yelp
Came here for a friends birthday at 7:30pm on a Sunday night. It took 20 minutes to sign up to even enter, they want all your personal information to sign waiver. They don't tell you how anything works, they just send you in without any instructions or tips. Once inside, HALF of the rooms were under construction or out of order. Some of the rooms were fun but it was annoying to see other people try and try again, but when our group wanted to try a room again, another group would take it. Finally at 8:50pm I was getting hangry, so I went up to the bar that says "ORDER HERE" and a staff member said they were no longer serving food. I said no one told us that, or anything for that matter, and it's a Sunday night. I asked if we could at least get nachos or tortilla chips, anything? They suggested MCDONALDS! Abhorrent. Absolutely disgusting. Two of our friends came up 5 minutes later and said they ordered food on the other side (restaurant side) but they're about to close so order quick. We went over right away, and I asked the waitress if we could order. Right then, the clock changed from 8:59 to 9:00pm, she says, "sorry it's 9 now, our kitchen is closed." I told her, " they told us 10 minutes ago in front that food was closed, but then our friends just came up and were able to order here a few minutes ago. It's a Sunday night, it's my friends birthday, and we have been running around a mostly out-of-service establishment, haven't eaten all day-" and she gets the manager. Christian was the most polite and helpful staff member. He informed us that they were out of burgers, and a few other items but they could do pizza and wings. We were able to try the garlic parmesan wings, chicken sandwich and a margherita pizza. I tried the blueberry soda (from Maine Root) and it was really good. Garlic wings were decent, pizza was okay. If the sign up didn't take so long, and instructions or some type of information was given at the beginning, some type of etiquette for sharing the space, more than half of the rooms being available for use, food time availability offered at entrance, and the staff at the bar were more customer friendly, this review would likely be a lot more positive. Overall dope concept, fair-poor execution. Given the circumstances, I'd call first to see how many rooms are out of service and eat prior to coming. Christian was the only really helpful staff member. He was the only person who was memorable in a positive manner. He gets 5 stars. Mia(?) who helped us sign up was also great. Tell your staff not to suggest McDonald's as an alternative. It shows that Level99 is looked at as an equivalent to McDonalds playhouse and a happy meal.

Arisbel M.

Yelp
My family and I spent two hours at Level99 on a Friday night. The wait times were not as bad as I expected them to be. They ranged from 0mins to 4 mins max. Picture a huge space with a whole bunch of mini rooms. I do wish there was more guidance in the beginning, as a team that's an opportunity that should be considered. I did appreciate that the rooms had these screens and gave us hints. We have gone to the Boda Borg escape rooms and those have zero hints and much more difficult to figure out. They have free water, clean restrooms, a bar and food area. Some people were walking around with their drinks which is nice. I did not see any staff engagement but overall, I feel like we had a good night. I'm glad my curiosity leads me to figure things out on my own if not I probably would've given it a less star rating.

Sarah N.

Yelp
I thought this was a unique and fun experience, despite the confusion everyone else mentioned and I fully agree with. I thought it was worth the price, but it's best to go when there are less people so the lines aren't long. And I probably wouldn't spend money on food or drinks because they are very overpriced. I liked the variety of games and how they rely on different skills so there are levels for everyone if you aren't physically adept or if you aren't good at puzzles. I wish there was more instruction for most of the games though because the first time you try each room feels like a waste of time when you immediately fail because it wasn't clear what to do and you have to wait in line again for another try. That being said, I would probably go again because it's a fun way to kill time.

Cassandra C.

Yelp
An extraordinary achievement. One of the best designed entertainment experiences out there. Smooth as butter tech, incredible production design, and of course, extremely fun games and puzzles! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, and I will be going every single time I'm in the Boston area from now on. Be prepared for physical challenges. My only complaint is that it was clearly designed by tall people. As a 5' 2" person there were a few puzzles that were literally impossible for me to do.

Eugene W.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Really fun and really well-designed. It's similar to Boda Borg in Malden, but with some key differences. This one definitely does a better job of integrating technology. You have an account that tracks your progress across multiple visits. You get a wristband that lets you swipe into any room. You can customize your profile and advance towards rewards. The rooms themselves are fun and span across a wide variety of challenge types. I do like the creativity behind Boda Borg's rooms more: they are longer and build more upon the theme of the room. Level99 rooms can sometimes just be a simple task, repeated in increasing difficulties. Anywho, I highly recommend this place. Really fun activity for any time of the year!

V V.

Yelp
My coworkers and I are from out of town, and we were recommended Level 99. We had an absolute blast. This place is huge - it looks like it was built where an old department store may have been. All the games were fun and varied in difficulty. The girl at the front was very helpful and went above and beyond to explain how the place worked to us first-timers. We also went to the restaurant adjacent to the game room. Food was good as well as the hard cider. We raved about Level 99 to the rest of our coworkers and we'll definitely be back for a team outing.

Aliké S.

Yelp
Had a good time! More fun than I expected. Loved the games, especially the physical challenges. The space is interesting with the addition of the bar (that has great, unique options; mixed, beer, wine, bubbly, etc.) and food. It's family but also adult entertainment. Communal in a weird way. The food is ok. I'd be willing to try the (Detroit style) pizza on a second visit... But all in all, a fun place for adults & kids (over 6 or 7 years old).

Albert K.

Yelp
- very fun games, with a ton of choices to pick from - the games are HEAVILY physical, so they are not designed for the physically disabled or weak - during Christmas, it was absolute havok, which is why my rating is lower; the wait time for games were up to 20 minutes and it felt like there was no crowd control on capacity - the convenience to get alcohol or food while at the venue is excellent Overall, it's more physical than Boda Borg and less mental. Tons of jumping, running, and throwing pucks at pinball. Will come back when it's more quiet, but definitely not during peak times for a terrible experience.

Adam B.

Yelp
This is an interesting concept. I thought it would be more like 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' or 'Double Dare' on Nickelodeon than what it actually is. Despite putting some of the American Ninja Warrior type challenges (swinging pendulum axes) front and center on view ... a lot of the challenges are more mental or reflex puzzles such as walking across light up squares on a floor ... pressing colored buttons or lights ... etc. Some of the challenges are more physical so prepare to break a sweat. As almost everyone else has mentioned ... the process of checking in, finding out where to go and what to do, is chaotic and confusing. There are lines at each challenge, so I would agree that 50%+ of the 2 hours you are allotted is waiting time if you come on a Friday or Saturday. This takes away from the fun somewhat ... but you do meet more people and have time to talk those in your group while you wait. This is more fun in a group of 4+ people. It can be a bit awkward in groups of two ... so not sure I'd recommend this for couples. Especially if you are shy about everyone else watching you compete. I think it would be more fun if it wasn't quite so open air ... you can see everything and everyone and it seems a little less intimate. The Nightshift Brewery was good ... the food was surprisingly good, except for the 'Detroit Style Pizza' which sucked. The drinks were also good with a great selection of beers and a very good Margarita. Actually, one of the better Margaritas I've had. Overall, the experience was fun for our group ... but I wouldn't run back to do it again. Lots of teens here ... I guess it must be a pretty affluent area because back in my day, we went to the mall with $5 in quarters for the video arcade. This costs $20+ for 2 hours! Probably worth a try, if you are bored and looking for something that gets you moving and thinking. I was never a fan of escape rooms, so this was better than that. But ... I feel like more of a physical obstacle course would make the high cost more worth it than some of the mind puzzles which involve pressing lights and buttons. (3-stars is okay/decent ... not amazing but also not terrible.)

Lauren R.

Yelp
I didn't know what to expect here and thought it might be more for kids, I was totally wrong! This place was so much fun I can't wait to come back. There are a ton of different rooms you can enter and you have to figure out the challenges. Each game is so innovative and fun for kids and adults. Some of the rooms are more physical, some are mind games, some are a mix! Definitely be careful though because I did sprain my ankle here, but didn't take away from the fun. There's also a big Nightshift Brewing in the middle of the place with some food, drinks, and tables to sit at if you want a break or to grab a beer and carry it around. One thing is to come on off hours, you only get a certain amount of time and you can waste a lot of it waiting if there are a bunch of people there.

Sunny H.

Yelp
Level99 is like an indoor amusement park for people like me who love puzzles and escape rooms! I've visited with a group of 6 and a group of 4, and we had an absolute blast each time. In my opinion, 4 hours is the minimum amount of time you'll want to book for this place - it seems long, but there's a lot of waiting involved, especially when it's really busy. You might want to come on a slower day (not on a weekend like we did) if you want to be able to play more rooms without waiting in lines for so long. Although the rooms are so fun and the games are addictive (one time my friends and I ended up extending our 4 hour ticket to unlimited, and we stayed over 6 hours), I'm taking off a star for the long wait times which does cut into the not-inexpensive ticketed time. I also felt like they could clean the rooms more frequently - some of the rooms had spills and felt grimy. Now onto the food !! I was shocked by how much I enjoyed the food at Night Shift, which is located inside of Level99. I was expecting mediocre food court stuff, but was honestly blown away by their Detroit-style pizza. The crust is thick, crusty, and satisfying - it serves as a great base to their creative toppings, but is delicious all on its own. The Figgy P and Roni Roni Roni were standouts - the figgy p is sweet but balanced with fig,, prosciutto, and burrata, and I loved the slight bit of heat in the Roni Roni Roni to pair with the salty pepperoni. We've also tried their monkey bread and brownies, and both are so satisfying without being overly sweet. You'll definitely work up an appetite playing in the rooms, and the food hits especially when you're exhausted from climbing on things and working up a sweat!

Yelp
my friend and i had a blast at level 99. it's essentially 40+ escape rooms that incorporate movement, knowledge and skill. groups as little as 2 can play. there's pretty much no wait time for most of the rooms, the maximum wait time is always about 5 minutes. it's $30 for two hours, $40 for four hours and $50 for the entire day. i think it's a popular place for kids and adults, as the rooms have varying levels of difficulty. its for sure a good place for a teenage birthday party. overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
What a fun place to spend four hours. The time goes by very quickly. Level99 is probably the most popular store at the Natick Mall. I would recommend coming here when there aren't that many people as there would be a waiting period for each game you choose. The beer was good too so ambiance here was perfect.

Yelp
I want to go back ASAP!!!!! This place was beyond fun and such a great double date experience. When we first got there, I kind of chuckled at the different options. Like ... who would want to spend 4+ hours here?! Well ... once we were in it and having a blast, I now realize how easy it is to want to spend more than 2 hours at Level99. It's nice that they have different categories of games/puzzles. There's really something for everyone to be challenged and/or good out. It's suitable for a wide variety of aged and physiques. A little price ... but so worth it!!! We ate here too!!! I love that Night Shift Brewery is here. Makes for a nice casual dinner with some beers before or after you "play". The food was typical bar food. Limited but so delicious. The prices were appropriate, and the service was great!!! I can't wait to go back!!! As a side note, we went on a weekday night. I think it might be much busier on the weekends ... possible affecting the experience. I think if I had to wait around for stuff ... it would get annoying FAST. Just something to think about. Also ... they have small lockers to lock up your stuff. Sooooo convenient and accommodating!!!

Yelp
This place is so much fun. There are so many different things to choose from whether you want a mind game or a physical game. It's huge and we couldn't even finish everything in one visit! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a fun night out. They do have food and drinks available as well, though we did not try it we will be returning!

Yelp
We brought our kids (age 12) here and they had a really fun time. When I asked what was the most fun, they said it was all so fun. So setting up the account and signing the waivers is a PIA, but the staff are really nice, friendly, and helpful. The place is wild--noisy, lots of shrieking, and lots of older teens and young adults. They have complimentary water, and there are lockers and restrooms. It was busy on Friday nights but the wait wasn't long for activities. Nice space for parents to wait.

Yelp
Level99 is a weird but amazing cross of escape rooms and American Ninja Warrior - the space is essentially a giant playhouse for kids and adults alike. Once you pay and get your wristband, there's a great locker area with complimentary lockers and clean restrooms. Beyond that is the actual venue, and it's kind of just a giant free for all. There isn't much instructions, so you kind of go up to these mysterious doors and try to gather as much intel as you can before you step into the room. There's a cap of 6 'players' per room, but I think some of the rooms work better with 4. Each room is a timed mental/physical/both puzzle that you have to figure out before the very short timer buzzes, or your fail, and you get kicked out. In between rooms, there's actually plenty to do as well. There's a lot of minigames and scavenger hunts to kill time, as well as a kitchen and water station. There is also a Night Shift Brewing connected to the venue. The kitchen serves your standard American fare - and if that isn't your thing, you can step right outside to the mall food court, or check out one of the many food chains in the mall area. The lines can get kind of long, and you are paying by the hour, so I recommend going off peak. It's right off the mall, so if you decided to pay for an all day thing, you could just take a break and walk around the mall. My group of 6 did four hours straight, and we didn't really feel like we needed any breaks, I will say that some of the physical puzzles are a lot harder than I expected. My partner and I are avid indoor/outdoor rock climbers and we struggled in a couple of the rooms - this is not a complaint, more a compliment. There is plenty to do for all levels of physical activity, and there's no harm in trying a room and failing. And then trying again. And again, and again lol. Overall, 4 hours would probably be the minimum I'd want to spend here. I honestly could have stayed longer, it was so much fun. I love that they let you save your progress under your own account, so you can come back and pick up where you left off/get higher scores. Being able to unlock profile customizations is a fun incentive to beating new levels/earning new stars. Some of my group were return players, and they noticed some of the rooms were new, so they weren't bored. We're planning to spent the day here next time, to beat our previous high scores.

Yelp
handsdown my favorite place in mass seriously, I've been here so many times and enjoy watching my friends who are visiting have so much fun the rooms regularly get updated but don't come during peak hours and expect to get much done! you gotta be smart about it

Yelp
We had a good time here for sure. But - a few things to know before you go. Check in is a bit of a nightmare. Plan for 20 minutes to check in, and wait, then use their machines, then have a problem, hunt someone down, finally complete the process. Expect to wait. A lot. At every game. A 2 hour pass means maybe 30 minutes of doing something. And that's no exaggeration. You will be waiting a lot. Did we have fun? Sure. Did the kids like it? Yes. Would I go back? No.

Yelp
They have really creative games and guess what? They got equally creative infrastructure to make those games interesting! I would repeat this any time I'm free. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Level 99 is located in the mall next to the food court. There are numerous rooms with different games and activities. I really enjoyed the rooms that required physical ability. They were very challenging, and I loved it. I think two hours is plenty of time to enjoy this place but we ended up getting four hours. This required a break in between, so we ended up going to the food court. They have many food options in case you are hungry and the food all looks good. They did a really good job with the decorations here. Each room had a cool riddle with hints on how to complete them. I really enjoy places like this, and will definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
Came here for a team bonding event and the pizza was amazing! The rooms are also incredibly fun to work out, definitely had some harder times than others. Some rooms last a short period of time and are easily failed, which means you have to wait in line again to go into the same room, but waiting around isn't too bad, I feel like we were able to get a lot out of just an hour.

Yelp
I made the mistake of coming here on a rainy Saturday afternoon. It was overrun with people under 18 , there were a few other adults but it definitely smelled like sweat and the whole place (which used to be a Sears) was so loud from the many screams that echo throughout. This was easily the most overstimulated I have been in a very long time. The kids with the heavy duty noise canceling earphones had the right idea.. I could hardly hear my group talking to me right in front of me. People had to raise their voices and yell just to hear each other in the hallways. Make sure you take time for a water break. I know it's really tempting to just constantly be in lines for rooms to feel like you're achieving something, but the irritability one may feel is only worsened by your unintentional dehydration. One thing is for sure, when you go here, you can't wait to wash your hands before you go home. I suggest going to the bathroom in the luxe wing of the mall on the first floor to decompress and freshen up before going home. And btw parking lots outside will always be full, your best bet is to park in a garage. The art throughout was pretty cool, the rooms were cool, you do need a fair bit of your upper body strength. There's beer and cocktails available if that's your vibe. Hints cost you points, and it's $35 for 2 hours and you can tack on another hour for $10

Yelp
I am so happy that something like this has opened and exists. It is not what I thought it would be like when it comes to escape rooms. They infuse technology into all of their 40+ rooms. The games are fun and the wait time is not too long. We paid $40 for 4 hours. The band that they give you is also a time keeper to see how long you have at the location. It also keeps track of your scores and you can view your profile. Many rooms will either use your physical strength, mental strength, or your communication skills. They have your standard food selection of pizza/pretzel, etc. A really fun place and the best group would be 6 or less for each room, but you can break up your group into 2 teams. It is located at the Natick Mall, next to Dave and Busters and the Food Court on the second floor. They also have lockers for your personal belongings for free.

Yelp
We are spoiled to have Boda Borg in our backyard, but we decided to make the trek to Level 99. It was so much fun for my family of 4 for 4 hours. We went on Sunday and booked the 11am slot and I'm glad we did, even though that meant leaving our house at 930am. It just kept getting busier and busier as the time went on. There was plenty to keep us engaged, challenged and interested. We didn't get to complete every challenge and some of the rooms were down for maintenance. Plenty of parking and plenty to do in and around the mall. Boda Borg still has our heart, but it is nice to know others are picking up on providing quality entertainment options with creative production value that lasts more than an hour. Nicely done Level 99. We will be back.

Yelp
Super fun. Crowded as the day went on but overall good experience. Good beer. Snacks that we won with points were pretty lame but free so.... Nice that they have free lockers.

Yelp
We went to Level99 to celebrate a friend's birthday! It was so much fun - from the physical game rooms to the mental game rooms, there's something for everyone. We didn't get any food, but they do have a full bar and restaurant attached. Free water is available too! Suitable for all ages, and parking was easy to find. A great place to host any event!

Yelp
It's a fun place to let loose, solve problems and learn more about the people you go there with! Great way to spend a Saturday at the mall!

Yelp
Highly recommend this awesome place. Challenge your mind and body and have a blast doing it! Great place to do team building for work, family time, friends, or date. The night shift brewing is right inside plus they have great food. Clean and sanitation stations set up. Bathroom in the facility so you don't have to go out into the mall. It is on the second floor. Great time ! Hoppycaligirl approved
