I went to Level 99 with my family for my birthday weekend (including 2 teenage boys.) This turned out to be a fun afternoon of games and food. The staff greeted us with a smile. I think many were new since they had trouble logging us into the games when we had to fill out waivers. The food was incredibly delicious! The crispy chicken sandwich was delightful and led to my kids asking to order seconds. There was music playing throughout keeping the atmosphere fun and light as we all had to use our strength and brains to try and beat rooms! Definitely planning to go back again!

We drove 8hrs from Boston MA to visit and it didn't disappoint! There were a couple rooms that were not in service and we had an issue with a couple rooms but we told Bloo and he had it fixed! We also met Zion, who gives great high fives and high vibes, and we also met a manager James and a lot of the staff. Food was fantastic at Victory brewing. Highly recommend and we'd definitely go back! It was crazy busy so next time we'll go off peak hours.

I gave this to my family for Christmas and they all loved it. They didn't like the food sadly, but they're gaming environment was tops, fantastic. Some were more challenging, others easier than expected. Well suited to most levels. Wait times were minimal also. Thanks to Level 99. Also, I had two that weren't able to attend and refunds were processed easily and quickly.

Service was amazing. Had a blast, double date spot was a success. Was physical and mentally challenging. We did a 2 hour run on a Sunday and was able to do enough in that timeframe that we can still come back for more and felt like we got to do enough this time. Rooms and duels are fun for adults and children. Feels like an adult place even with the family presence. Would recommend trying!

Google
The Good - some of the games are decently fun, particularly passing the axes, the dodgeball scoring game, the plank and a few others. The Bad - the weekend is nuts and there are way too many people. Long wait times, kids running everywhere, poor organization and flow of the room. The Ugly - some of the games are just awful, their instructions are not clear and the goal of various games is dumb. Think about how disgusting and gross this place gets with people touching everything. They have hand sanitizer but there should be sinks everywhere, and people cleaning etc. MAJOR PROBLEM - the exit doors of the games are located sporadically throughout, and there are no freaking signs like “caution this is an exit door.” I literally got hit by the exit door twice while waiting for another games. I mean are you guys serious without fixing this yet and putting up the very least a warning sign? The locker situation is also a total nightmare. They don’t have nearly enough lockers to fit the busy weekend rush. There was no way I was trying the food here as well, when you’re at the mall and there are much better options elsewhere. For $50 for 4 hours on the weekend, I think meh. I don’t think it’s highway robbery, but at the same time there is 0% chance I would ever go back. Might be cool if the whole place was rented out for a work event or birthday party but other than that way it’s too crowded! PS - that “get through the window” game is an accident waiting to happen. It was one of the more fun challenges but doesn’t have nearly enough padding on the other side. O and lastly, I think the point system and how they track success is very dumb. Places like beat the bomb and Dave and busters do a much better job of showing your progress, successes etc. Welp this is a long review, hope some of this feedback helps.

Google
Great place for literally a full day of activities. Had a four hour pass and still was not able to get thru half of what they had to offer in rooms based on skill communication, physical activity, and brain power. Definitely worth the trip and will be going back again soon. Also a fun art scavenger hunt side mission while you are there to keep you engaged even when you are waiting to get into a room.

Google
Level 99 is crazy fun. They don’t give you a ton of instructions up front, so make sure you read the prompts on the screens before you jump into each challenge. It’s still a blast, but plan for more than two hours if you want to really enjoy it without rushing. Pro tip: watch a few TikToks before you go—seeing how some of the rooms work makes the experience even better.

Google
I had a blast here! All the personnel and staff are friendly, funny and well knowledgeable about the venue. Paris particularly helped me and provided me with excellent customer service that exceeded my expectations. He helped make a family member’s birthday party very special and worked hard to seek personalized solutions for us and options for us. It was refreshing how warm he was and I can tell is a great leader for his team. Based on our interaction with him, we will absolutely be returning customers and regulars! Thanks for a great experience!

Yelp
It was date night at Level99. Located on the 2nd floor of the mall, Level99 is billed as an adult game center. Once we checked in, got our wristbands, and checked in again at the virtual kiosks, we watched a brief presentation about the games before we were off. We signed up for the 2-hour session, and by the end, we were satisfied with the games we played (even some twice). In the beginning, we didn't utilize the hint option, so some games ended almost as quickly as we entered the room, lol. Eventually, we caught on, and even though we didn't clear any rooms, we did get close on a few. I liked that while most games were hidden until you entered the room, a handful were out in the open to see before you played. We appreciated the water station inside the restaurant, and the Detroit syle pizza had was pretty good. This was a fun date night, and something I'd do with a group of friends too.

Yelp
I first heard of Level 99 from my Boston-area friends and was dying to visit, so I was THRILLED when I found out a location was opening at Tyson's Corner. It seemed like just exactly the kind of fun I want to have? I brought my partner for his birthday weekend and we walked in on Sunday a few minutes after they opened at 10am. You don't need to make an online reservation, but it would help expedite the process of registering each player for an account. You are given wristband when you walk in that will be linked to said account and that you use to enter the game rooms. We didn't wait at all when we first arrived, as there were only 3-4 other parties there, but by the time we left at the end of our 2 hour reservation, this place was understandably PACKED. Expect to wait to get into any room and get in line for the swinging axe run during peak times, but the wait time will probably be something like 3-4 minutes if there isn't a line. Most of the rooms were REALLY fun, but I do recommend looking at the instructions before entering to maximize your time, because otherwise you risk wasting time trying to make sense of the props in the room and the objective, as we did with our first room (and as I realized my partner did when he couldn't read the instructions as fast I did...) You can find instructions on the screen BEFORE you enter the room by touching the lightbulb icon, but you will likely not realize you need to do this until you enter your first room and are lost and look around for instructions and see none. Some of the rooms we still just couldn't figure out how to achieve the objective because the instructions are left intentionally vague, and some of the rooms were physically just too challenging for us. I also really appreciated the design of the rooms -- they were really immersive, even on the outside, and we were giddy with excitement and anticipation every time we entered a new one. There is a spot the art activity that seemed fun but also felt like not a great way for me to spend my limited time, but I think would be more fun if I had an all-day pass or I had long waits between rooms and could have someone in my party help me wait. There is a TON of art on basically every wall, and we ended our time at Level 99 just getting photos at some of the very photogenic backdrops. (Again, I wouldn't recommend using your limited paid time to do this.) Nice amenities in the space included free water stations with cups and hand sanitizer, both of which make a ton of sense when you are sweating and shouting at/to your teammates while frantically touching a bunch of different props in so many rooms! Another free amenity that I didn't realize was free was the lockers. I didn't know these were no charge so I kept my crossbody bag on throughout the rooms and my partner carried his hoodie that he had to take off in his arms and just hoped no one would take it when he left it outside the room. They're not large enough for really large items but big enough for jackets, small-medium bags, maybe some shopping bags, etc. I do think that for 2 people, 2 hours was a good amount of time, especially given how much we were able to do our first hour before it got crowded. By our second hour, we were physically spent from how competitive we were in some of these game rooms and the waits were getting longer as well. I can see the longer times maybe being more worthwhile with larger parties, though. This would be a great place for a date (maybe slightly aggressive for a first date but an efficient way to determine compatibility in a competitive setting!) and with a group of friends. We saw a lot of kids during our visit, but I think people below a certain height are at a distinct disadvantage for many of the rooms so I wouldn't recommend bringing young children. (For my fun-sized folks out there, bring a tall friend or two to get the most out of rooms where you have to reach things that are quite high!) Be prepared to test any relationship where you don't have well-established communication/collaboration styles or with mismatched levels of competitiveness! Truly, I cannot overstate how much my partner and I are excited to come back, especially if we are able to come during an off-peak time, and to share this with our loved ones. How to prepare before arriving: + Dress comfortably in something you can jump, stretch, and sweat in + Pre-register if possible to save time when arriving + Do not come on a full stomach + Please skip if you are ill + Establish some ground rules with your party re: competition and communication -- yelling is almost guaranteed to happen, just from the volume of overlapping noises, so you need to be ready to not make or take it personal Have fun, invite me when you go!

Yelp
Level 99 was SO much fun! I'm going set the stage, first. Picture a random Tuesday, arriving at 11am (opening), with a group of 4... this is the perfect combination to create an unforgettable good time. Ok, now picture a nice, big space with tons of little rooms and bonus trials throughout. Each room is its own adventure. We found our group of four to be nearly perfect. We had one tall, agile one, one who likes puzzles, one critical thinker, and one willing to try anything. We opted for the 2 hour adventure and ran through as many rooms as possible-- which was a whole lot. We doubled back a couple times to try again when we were so close. It was honestly fun to race through them, but I learned later that you can pause your time to get a drink or some food (or catch your breath!). They have water stations throughout and lockers for any loose items, but you can take your phone with you. I know they say that kids can play, too, but there's no way my 11 year old would have had as much fun as we did. (and she's done escape rooms and is generally awesome) The rooms aren't made for shortys (and I'm hardly 5'0). I feel like they would get frustrated in many of the rooms. But, for a date day or group hang out-- absolutely, 100 percent recommend!

Yelp
This spot is one of the hottest places to go right now and I 100% understand the hype as I have not had this much fun in a very long time. The concept is awesome- 40 rooms to choose from that can be played, replayed, or skipped within 2 hour or 4 hour time slots. Some of our favorite rooms we played over 3 times trying to earn a better score. The space itself is like art. Everywhere you look is artwork it almost feels like you're in a museum. There is even a H2O station added that you'll quickly realize is a necessity to visit as you're playing all these games. On my visit we reserved online a 2 hour time slot at 4:45pm on a Thursday, trying to beat the pricing increase by booking before 5pm and having it also not being a weekend. This was the smartest thing to do because we realized even on a weekday, the space gets packed fast and right now a lot of companies even do happy hours here so it would've been harder to get into as many rooms having to wait for people to finish their sessions. I will not spoil the games for newcomers but they have a combination of mental and physical games. Group activities and even head to head competitions throughout the space. Do not come into this thinking that things will be easy because they are built to be quite a challenge. Going with a group of 4 is the perfect amount of persons as I think some games with be hard with just 2 and too overcrowded with 6.

Yelp
Level 99 Adventure Awaits! Level 99 is the ultimate spot to challenge yourself and tap into your inner gamer and playful side. With over 50 immersive rooms of adventure, every hallway leads to a new themed experience and every door opens to another fun-filled challenge. The staff is not only friendly but also super encouraging, always pushing you to accept the challenge and keep going no matter the difficulty level. It's the perfect place for Date night, Outings with family and friends, and Team-building packed with fun and laughter A definite must-try in the DMV

Yelp
What an amazing experience! Level 99 was fantastic. With over 40 games combining both physical challenges and mental puzzles, there was something for everyone. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Each game included on-screen instructions and helpful hints, plus an estimated wait time if the room was already occupied. For tickets, you can choose between a 2-hour, 4-hour, or all-day pass--I found that 2 hours was the perfect amount of time. I also appreciated their partnership with Victory Brewing, which provided great food and drinks. The truffle fries were especially flavorful and delicious. I also tried the pitcher of blood orange mule; it was tasty, though it had a bit too much ice. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Level 99--whether you're bringing the kids or planning a fun date

Yelp
I've been to a few of these game rooms and each have their pros and cons. This one had more physical rooms for example, avoiding getting hit by swinging axes, using each others body weight to get across the room and at one point I had to hang from a rope to hit a button on the ceiling. They also had various water stations and a bar for breaks. I would say more of these rooms are for adults due to physicality and complexity especially if you are competitive.
google avatar

Ed G.

Yelp
This was an amazing time! 2 hours was just enough for us at 11am on a Tuesday. I imagine on the weekend it gets busier and the rooms have a wait. Every room worked perfectly and was able to get in everywhere but not enough time to do anything twice. Lots of successes, lots of failures. I would like it if we could pause our time here while I get a drink or snack. But for now break time is included in the 2 hours. Would absolutely do this again. It's like another bomb themed challenge place without the overall main goal. Oh and the technology worked here without issues.

Yelp
Level 99 is a great assortment of game rooms for all ages (can accommodate everything from families to adults to young kids). This place has a lot of various rooms- each with different activities. Challenges like throwing balls to kill bugs, using teamwork to operate a submarine, arrange colored puzzles in a sequence, making your body into different shape, etc. There's a lot of people but most rooms go by quickly- no wait will be longer than 4 minutes usually. My suggestion is to click the hints to get an idea of what you're supposed to do. My group felt like we didn't really have an understanding of a good chunk of rooms and were confused. Also with some rooms, the second someone loses a life its game over. My recommendation would be to get the 4 hour pass. We did the 2 hour and couldn't get to everything. Ultimately was fun and unique so I will be going back!

Yelp
I made a 2 hour reservation for this past Saturday and we had a lot of fun! There is plenty of space and a lot to do. There is definitely room for process improvements when you first arrive though. Since waivers are signed and I prepaid online, the whole process of waiting in line to give my reservation code and then be sent to the kiosks to check in again is a bloated process that could be solved with scanning the wristbands/attaching it to the reservation as soon as you check in with the hostess. I did find it interesting that it is marketed as a venue for adults but was full of kids. Go figure, but still a lot of fun. I look forward to coming back soon during the week and experiencing all of the rooms and trying the food/drinks, which all looked great from what we saw.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
This is definitely a new concept/experience to the DC area and a fun one! We went with all adults and had a blast. Love the different types of fun games, laughs created, and realizing how bad we are at teamwork! Very thoughtful to have water stations and sanitizer stations all around. Also ability to pause the game to take a break at Victory for a drink/food. Only downside is it is extremely hot - need to blast the AC more!
google avatar

Aileen M.

Yelp
I came here for a birthday celebration and we had a great time. When we first started playing we didn't fully understand how the games worked and I wish there was someone by the room doors that could have explained it. However, by the second game we got the idea and had a blast playing as a group. I especially enjoyed the team building game where we had to figure out where and what the dinner guests would eat at the dinning table. It has a nice bar and a pretty good menu. I enjoyed their pizza and drinks. If you and your family or friends are looking for some fun activities but in adult spaces- this is the place!
google avatar

Yelp
Level99 is the best mix of escape room puzzles and obstacle courses, nothing like ive ever done before but would love to go back ! It was definitely busy when we went, but the wait for each game wasnt too bad just 3 minutes. The games were so much fun, with tons of different themed rooms and challenges to choose from you really get a lot for what you pay for. I do wish the instructions for some games were a bit more detailed, but once you get going it's all part of the challenge. Overall, its great new spot for anyone who loves interactive games with friends.
google avatar

Ngoc T.

Yelp
This is a great interactive place to go to with a large group of friends, family, and couples. There are a lot of game room that include physical strength, teamwork, memorization, puzzle solving and more. There are locker storage that you can store your stuff (for free), a bunch of water station to stay hydrated, and a food court inside the place. Make sure you wear active clothing so you can be comfortable playing the physical activity. I got the 2 hrs time frame to play at Level 99, it was enough time to play around and be tired but it felt a little rushed since we didn't take any time to rest. We went on a weekday and it was a little busy when we have to wait for the game room to be our turn. Make sure you read the game instruction on the pad before each room or else you would not know what to do in the room. 100% recommend this place for fun activities.

Yelp
Level99 was sooo much fun !!! It was challenging, entertaining , and stimulating for the brain! I strongly recommend this place for all ages . The food was great and the service as well.

Yelp
We hosted an event for Furries of Maryland at Level 99 Tysons, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Renee was amazing! Very quick to respond, professional, and genuinely kind. She helped us coordinate everything seamlessly and even helped to arrange a private room, which gave our group peace of mind and a secure space to store our belongings and fursuits (which are not cheap!) The venue was spotless, the food and drinks were fantastic, and the staff was courteous, organized, and attentive. Everything felt safe, welcoming, and exceptionally well-run. We'll definitely be back with an even larger group next time--thank you, Renee and the Level 99 team, for setting the bar so high!

Josiah P.

Yelp
It was great and fun but it's packed and you usually have to wait for games at least on a Saturday. Kids can go but sometimes they may not understand a game or be strong enough for a game.
google avatar

Jenny P.

Yelp
If you and your friends are looking to run around and play super fun games for a couple of hours, you have to come here. I came with 5 of my friends for the 8pm slot on a sunday night. Checking in was easy especially if you sign the waiver forms before arriving. We did have some trouble with the lockers and one of our friend's wristband but the staff were more than happy to help us out. All the games are so well thought out and are categorized from requiring a lot of physical strength to mental puzzles. There's also a lot of seating areas to rest and a bar and food area as well. I will definitely be coming back here because I don't even think we got through half of the games!
google avatar

Aleshia A.

Yelp
This is a cool spot for anyone of any age group. Most games are better with four people but with two you can still have loads of fun . It's slightly organized at the door, we prepaid for a booking and just had to walk up grab wristbands and get Che Jed in. The two people who were responsible for the check in part were just standing there making a rubber band ball. Which I was confused like do I need the ball for something, am I supposed to add to it while doing the games..?!? What why?! But no they just were doing that instead handling the iPad. Otherwise pretty engaging staff all friendly. The games have screens outside the doors, use them! They tell you how to play and although some you can figure out without it a lot I would argue you can't and the game will be over very quickly. We did 2 hours and not gonna lie it's a long time.!! The games are fast and even though we went on a Friday night we moved pretty quickly through them all.
google avatar

Tiffany G.

Yelp
This place has something for just about everyone, regardless of age! The variety of games between mental and physical was perfect after filling my belly at Victory Brewing. Speaking of games, I appreciated the free locker for my purse and the water stations (strategically placed near certain physical games). There were plenty staff members on hand to greet us, ensure we checked in properly, help me update my username, and to explain how to use the onscreen prompts prior to entering the each game (last one is clutch!)
google avatar

Yelp
The rooms are very mediocre for adults. I can see teenagers in a small group if they can afford it. Its a one time experience and cant imagine going a second time.

Uche N.

Yelp
I am new to the Maryland, D.C, Virginia area. I recently traveled from Tennesse. my visit has been amazing, until I visited level 99 in virginia. the games were fun and engaging, with the front of the house being the most engaging. the African American female bartender was extremely rude and neglectful. when i expressed my frustration, she began laughing with the guest she was attending to. Overall, this individual nearly ruined the experience. thankfully her team picked up her slack. seemed like a consistent trend at this establishmen. I hope they do better

Alina C.

Yelp
This place was so much fun! Came here with my friends (we're all adults) and it had us giggling the whole time. Great way to have fun if you wanna move around! Other things that made me happy: the lockers are complementary (a lot of places will charge you for them) and the sodas are refillable. The food was great and the staff are super helpful!

Gennifer Y.

Yelp
I came here to celebrate my birthday with some friends (as an adult) and had pretty high expectations. I assumed it would be similar to how the games are done at Beat the Bomb. Not a chance. Very few of the games give you multiple opportunities to win/lose. Most games, you get one chance to win or fail and the game is over. The instructions, to me, need to be a bit more clear and the games overall need some work. There were a few rooms we entered in and the game was immediately over. No clear rhyme or reason. The screen just told us to exit. This causes things to become boring rather quickly and extremely confusing. There was one game in particular that was not working. I explained this to the person who checked us in and I even brought him over to the game but he tried to convince us that it was working. He explained how the game worked because I assumed he believed we didn't understand, which is fair since this is our first time. We step into the room and the same thing happens. Nothing. Unfortunately, he never stepped foot into the room nor did he wait for us to come back out to explain what we saw. We had to grab someone else who took the time to experience what we were. She ended up being really nice and offered additional game play for our inconvenience because it was determined that the game was not working. I also believe they need someone to just an overview of the whole experience before entering the space and to just let people know that they can walk in once they complete the sign in process. Lastly, please decrease the amount of tickets sold per time slot. Especially on the weekends! It's too many people. Plus, if you have these games that are one time pass/fail. People need the opportunity to get back into the game to try again. Usually when you come out, there are a bunch of people already waiting so you just go to another game that has less people or less of a wait time. There were a few games that held our attention and ended up being fun! I am not sure if I would go back but I'm happy that things got a bit better by the end of the day!

Yelp
The review on Aug 24, 2025 is fake. The place hadn't even opened yet. They opened today! The GM of food and beverage was lowkey a very weird guy who was super unprofessional. Food was inventive but it was very pricey. At least the rooms were fun though
