We often visit this farm near New York and it’s always a wonderful experience. Fresh air and lots of activities make every trip special. This time we went apple and tomato picking right from the field — such a fun experience! 🍎🍅 Afterward, we bought fresh produce at the farm market. Everything was delicious and high quality. We always enjoy coming here and will definitely return again!

What a great little place. We ended up coming here unplanned, because the place we went first had run out of apples and I'm glad they did because we had such a nice time. We've gone to the larger farms in the past where they have corn mazes and playgrounds and candle making and charge a fortune for a small plastic bag. This place gave us these really nice wood baskets to fill up and they charge you for what you pick by the pound AND we got to take our apples home in the nice wood basket. I paid so much less for the same amount of apples plus donuts and a nice basket then I would have at one of the bigger places. It wasn't crowded, so it felt like we were apple picking by ourselves instead of with a bunch of strangers. Me and my kids had the best time picking apples together. The woman who checked us out was very pleasant and took a picture of us. What a great experience. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Based on my recent visit, Lewin Farms is far more than just a farm stand; it’s a genuine destination for anyone who appreciates fresh, high-quality produce and a wonderfully pleasant shopping experience. I left thoroughly impressed and will certainly be making the trip back regularly. The star of the show is, without a doubt, the incredible selection of vegetables. The word "fresh" doesn't even do it justice. You can truly taste the difference when produce is picked at its peak, and Lewin's vegetables are a testament to that. From vibrant, crisp greens and perfectly ripe tomatoes to an impressive array of seasonal offerings, everything looked and felt like it had just come from the field. I also appreciated their selection of grocery items, which complements their fresh offerings perfectly, allowing you to pick up other pantry staples in one convenient stop. Beyond the produce, the atmosphere of the store itself is a huge draw. The entire place was immaculately clean and beautifully organized, making it a joy to browse. The associates were exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and clearly taking pride in their products. Their positive attitude really enhances the overall experience. Now, for the main event: the food counter. You simply cannot leave without trying their famous baked potatoes and roasted corn. The potato was fluffy and perfectly seasoned, while the roasted corn was smoky, sweet, and slathered in butter—absolute perfection. And just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I tried the deep-fried Oreo cookies. Let me tell you, they are as mouth-watering as everyone says! The warm, melting chocolate and creamy center inside a light, fried pastry is a little slice of heaven. With plenty of convenient parking and a dedicated food area where you can sit and enjoy your treats immediately, Lewin Farms has thought of everything. It’s a five-star experience from the moment you arrive until the last delicious bite. Highly recommended

Well, well, well what can I say when paired with this amazing scenery and the escape from reality of such a stressful job I have no choice but to leave this good review, especially because my life is holding me at ransom this is the only place where I finally feel at peace and I feel at an escape. This is my go to place even if I am alone I will still go here just so I could read my little novels and sit down near the pumpkin patch. This is my place. I love this place. I will stand by this place. I will ride or die in this place hey ride in this place I will eat corn at this place specifically the corn that it’s a crispy with the butter that that stuff is amazing. If you’re asking someone who’s been here many times I can highly recommend during the autumn seasons to go because that’s the best way to go if there was a way to go that’s the way to go that is the way to go. I can’t imagine any other way and I bet you guys can’t imagine any other way either because this is the place, it makes me sad to see all these other sad reviews because I personally enjoyed my time here and I hope to all the new people that you guys will enjoy your time here too because I wish that I could tell you the truth I’ve been here 1 million times I stopped painting excuse is red, even if I trapped in this place winding right in front of the eyes I heard their voice, but I missed them in time. I followed every end of those signs, but the clock tower bell only took nine when the sunset on the side of that land, and I thought it was snowing only when the ashes found the film in my hands did I know they will be a fire when it only falls I should bury my funds along with all I own because I couldn’t save it, but I could make it to you trapped and endings. I don’t want you to know so onto a bursting wave of blinding lights. I thought those guys and I ate my fries to the river dried I splashed all that die in the sky, standing still in front of the eyes. I still remember the way I sat during the heavy rain, and I put all my hands and embraced, and the clouds never seem to fade away rolling thunders were in disguise, though no matter how hard I whip in the lost and found I couldn’t find my jacket underground. It was to the point where I took a pretending that I was a savior so I learned to carry all of it on my own and you know what I feel like that’s what we’re all missing today is that we all have the power to carry everything by ourselves we don’t need someone to help us carry our struggles in life we can carry and we will carry we will do what we must to succeed in the way we must. I feel like everyone has a purpose in life and this is my purpose because I’m good reviews to companies that need it especially when all they ever do is make you happy because I feel like spreading joy is the best way to spread encouragement and I feel like this business establishment deserves that they have done a spectacular job that everything they do and I wish to spread my kindness just like how they spread it to you as an infection that’s spreading wildly. This is why I want with positivity. I want to infect with positivity. All I want is to sit down and sit with them they are incredible and I will trust them to take my wallet and take a joyride with my wallet as if my wallet was a place a place filled with wonders thank you

Loved it!!! Apple fields were ptetty nice. No entry fee and pay only for the apples you pick. Cherry on the top was roasted corn and baked potatos!!!

Been coming pumpkin picking here since I was a child and I have only the fondest memories! The patch was absolutely amazing this year! A wonderful variety of beautiful pumpkins in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Gerry is always so wonderful and $40 for all you can carry is amazing! Visiting Lewin Farms will always be a staple in my family’s festivities!

Very nice place. Really liked the selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. They also have fresh baked cakes and pies, milk, butter, cheese, alcohol, plants etc. people are friendly and helpful and there is plenty of parking. They also have the pick your own sections down or up the road depending on how you look at it or come. Pretty nice drive out here as well, definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, or if you just want to travel as we did to get fresh vegetables and fruit.

My favorite baked potatoes on Earth! So good, seasonal for the summer, you can’t beat it $3.50 drizzled with butter and salt. They also have corn on the cob at their farm stand which is also very good. We did pick your own raspberries; you pay by weight for what you pick. Pricier than what you would pay for the produce at the grocery store but you pay for the experience; the berry selection was good and they also had blueberries. Plenty of parking. They have port a potties.

If you're interested in long walks and picking your own fresh vegetables and fruit you will love this place. There is a huge apple orchard were you have a choice of picking your favorite type of apple and there are plenty of choices. You can also pick your own pumpkins. If you're not into walking a lot they have a store where you can buy different types of veggies and fruit and they also have fresh baked pies that are very delicious. Give them a try if you are in the area, it was a lot of fun.

I've been coming here for more than 25 years and I can honestly say this family business is a disaster; for the public that is. I don't even check with them about pick your own anymore because they were never consumer friendly and now in the last dozen yearsit's been as bad as ever. They close whenever they feel like it; now they close every Tuesday. Think about that, their business is about 16 weeks of the year primarily and they need to take a day off during that time. Bottom line, it's noticeable that customers annoy them and asking anything at the register or to anyone for information is not welcomed. Fortunately, there are many other places in the area to go and shop for fresh produce or even pick your own vegetables and fruit. Do yourself a favor, let this family have some peace and quiet from loyal business.

We went to visit Lewin Farms on our day trip to Calverton. We went during the beginning of July when it was blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry season. Do make sure to call the number provided to make sure the farms are open. An automated voice will play listing what crops you can pick and hours of operation. There is no entrance fee for the picking farm, and you pay by weight at the end. The staff was very kind as well. At the picking area, there is a large water tank where you can wash your hands (do not use for washing your fruits!). Drinks and snacks are also for sale too. During our visit, the blackberries were not yet ripe, unfortunately, and some of the raspberries as well. That did not take away from our experience since many of the blueberries were ready to be picked towards the far end of the farm. I recommend picking towards the ends of the rows since that's where we found most of our big juicy blueberries. At the main area Lewin Farms has a market where yoy can buy produce and other goods, but my friend and I just got some blueberry ice cream. To our delight it was light and airy, only issue I had was that it had a ton of blue food coloring that left our months like we ate a smurf lol. I reccomend this place for the family, friends, or even just for yourself too for a nice day trip out East. You can enjoy a snack that you worked hard for!

There were so many varieties to choose from, but miles and miles of walking. There are signs in the front telling you which side your preference is on. I would recommend taking a picture because that is the only sign. I wish there were signs at the beginning of each row to narrow down the search.

Drove over 50 miles to pick apples today - and yes called ahead! Locked gate so we drove to second location and was told it should be open! Drove back only to be told that it was a "bad apple season" and they only had golden delicious apples! Why not have this on their daily recording??? Seven Ponds orchard farms had a great apple season with over 20 varieties! Never again Lewin farms :(

Terrific selection of fresh grown veggies, fruits, and other produce. My first time out here as we were on a day trip to walk around Riverhead area and explore a bit. We got plenty of produce to use for the Labor Day weekend BBQ's and meals. Some items were a great deal and some a little pricey but the quality is worth it. Aisles and aisles of bins filled with seasonal veggies and fruits. Some refrigerated items such as local eggs, dairy, beer, and also pastries by the register areas. Garden area next door with seasonal plants and decorations for purchase. They had some food trucks here too, along with fresh roasted corn to buy and nibble on. A bit expensive but could not pass up that corn with butter!

I've been going apple picking at Lewin's farm since before the pandemic and I've always enjoyed it but something bad happened to the apples this year. I don't know if it had to do with the Lantern Flies or if it's a virus but the trees were all sick. Every tree had rotten apples on them! I couldn't find one healthy tree. It was so frustrating that my cousins refused to buy any. I decided to search and get a few that I think looked healthy enough but when we got to the ladies with the registers and told them about the experience and asked what happened to the trees this year one lady gaslighted us and was very defensive. She said everyone else got good apples. Mind you, I didn't ask her if anyone got good apples. I asked her what happened to the trees! My cousin asked another lady and was told that they had a bad batch this season. They should be honest with their customers up front and let them decide if they want to pick from those sick trees smh! Also, what aggravates me is that they do not label the trees. After all these years we have to guess the kind of apples we're picking off the trees. I like shopping at their market though. However, I didn't do it this year because I was so annoyed with the apple picking experience.

The BEST Apple Cider Donuts I ever tasted, ate and enjoyed. This farm is my Favorite for all time. I love Lewin Farms, xoxo.

WE HAD A BLAST! I can't wait to bring the kids back in a couple of weeks when they start selling roasted corn! Lots of big juicy strawberries, a big field where the kids can run around and pick strawberries! Plenty of parking space. They sell drinks and ice cream at the entrance. We are driving back and planning our return. Fair price. You pay for what you pick, with no entrance fee.

Had a fantastic time with my family at Lewin Farms. We picked our own peaches, apples, and berries. I really appreciated we could call the farm to see what U-Picks were available as well as stay updated through their Instagram. The place was easy to find and the big signs on the roads were great to let us know where to go. They also provided plastic bags for us. Looking forward to coming back!

Highly recommend for blueberry/raspberry/blackberry picking. Large selection, vast property, ridiculously low prices and super tasty fruit. It was a fun experience and definitely worth the drive out to Riverhead. No cover, so you get charged only for what you buy. The peach picking area was also massive with a great selection. Definitely something that I can see becoming a yearly outing!

Good food in market. get there early in season if you're picking. Gets beat up fast with all the traffic.

Call before visiting the farm: the auto recorded message will tell you what "pick your own" is available for the day. The farm store is open 9am to 5pm. Tons of people buy fresh produce and baked goods all day long. Pick your own fields are located a few miles away from the store. Follow the signs on the road. Vegetable fields--to the right of the farm store parking lot, fruit orchards--to the left. You can pick your ow vegetables from 9am to 4:30pm, fruits--from 12 to 4:30pm. Cash ONLY in pick your own fields. Use the ATM at the store, before driving to pick your own produce. All pick your own is priced by weight. Bring bags for gathering. On August 20, all the peaches were still unripe. No idea why people were picking green, rock hard fruit from the trees. Wait a few weeks and come back. Vegetables were also on the unripe side. You could find a few tomatoes, peppers, and baby eggplants to take home. Watermelons were also growing in the vegetable fields. Extensive fields, so bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, as there's no shade. Staff were friendly. Porter potties available on premises.

Recently, I have been making berries smoothie after working out. Thus, when my friend was organizing a trip to Lewin Farms, I was in. I love freezing blueberries and raspberries to make my delicious concoction. When we arrived, there was a stand where you asked them for those cartons. They informed us $6.99 a pound for blueberries and $7 ish for raspberries and blackberries. Here are some tips for newbies. Spray yourself with insect repellent beforehand. I was stung a couple of times. Also, bring a cooler with ice to store your berries. The last important tip, ask for a cover for the carton. I asked if they had saran plastic wraps, they gave me cardboard cutouts. I didn't want my berries flying out during the long drive. My friend was prepared; she brought Tupperware. Have fun!

In my opinion Berry picking is one of the most important activities on the summer checklist and Lewin Farms delivers on all fronts. Family friendly but also good for couples or even a stop on the way to eastern-Long Island's wine country, this farm offers a little something for everyone. It was not packed despite the beautiful weather and there was enough fruit on the vine to ensure we weren't just picking the leftovers. The farm stand also offers treats and beer for sale after you're done picking. The kind staff only adds to the experience. Whether a full day trip or just a part of your eastern LI adventures, Lewin Farms is a great addition to any summer weekend.

My friends and I stopped by Lewin's this weekend and we enjoyed our time picking peaches and veggies. I was afraid peaches were out of season, but they still had a lot of peach trees ready to harvest! I love that they don't charge an admissions fee, and only for the fruits/veggies you pick. We also tried their roasted corn with corn seasoning and apple cider donuts. The corn was superb!! Additionally, they update their phone message frequently, so it's nice to know what is available on the day of.

I had to miss my annual upstate NY apple picking trip this year so I was pretty ecstatic when a friend invited me to go apple picking with her friends and would've never thought there were orchards on Long Island. Important thing to note is that this place is separated into 2 locations: one for the market/pumpkin patch and the orchards in the other. Compared to my experiences in the upstate NY farms, it was just an okay experience that leaned more towards "meh". The farmer's market and snack stand were both PACKED--for hours. I guess this is expected, given the proximity and drawing crowds from NYC. I did like that they had a variety of pumpkins and the fresh produce was great and reasonably priced. The apple-picking experience, on the other hand, was underwhelming. Again, I am basing this off of my experience from the upstate orchards but I felt like everything seemed transactional rather than an experience. We had no idea how big the farm was and we had no idea what kind of apples we were picking (other than granny smiths) since there wasn't signage or directories. The quality of the apples was fine and most of the apples were harvested by the time we went (2nd week of October), so we barely picked any--especially with them charging $2.99 per pound, which is very steep. They began turning away people by closing time and even had LOTS of bags filled with apples for sale, which I think totally takes away from the experience but if people are looking to just buy fresh apples straight from the orchards, that is fine too. Didn't completely love it but also didn't hate it. But would I come here again if I'm unable to go to the orchards upstate? Probably not.

Loved it! It was my first time coming here and I was surprised at the variety of different fruits and veggies they grew! The weekend I came had only blueberry, raspberry, and gooseberry available for the U pick farms. The blueberries were so fresh and sweet, and I had so much fun picking them. The good raspberries were a little harder to find but they were also very good. The gooseberries were kind of nonexistent for me, but I'm sure if you look hard enough, you will find some. The market place was like 30 seconds away from the farm by car, very close, and everything inside was fresh and cheap! The only sad part for me was that there was no roasted corn or baked potatoes available. Anyways, I would definitely come back soon for their other fruits!

Their cooked corn is amazing! They have a lot of fresh foods to choose from and lots of pumpkins!

We came towards end of the strawberry season and it was worth it! My friends and I drive close to an hour out to get a batch of these delicious strawberries! Afterwards, we drove crossed the street to the farmers market and bought some of their fresh produce and ice cream.

Fabulous fresh produce, can pick your own blueberries etc. bought a few weeks worth of fresh produce to bring home to NYC.

We came here at the end of the strawberry season last weekend so around June 26? Therefore the strawberry weren't as abundant as earlier in the season. What I like is that they only charge u for what you picked so no entrance fee such as some other farms out there. Also has a schedule on their website, for example it's blueberry and raspberry season coming up! Edit - came here for blueberry picking and had a great time. U don't have to pay an eye ace and just have to pay bAsed on the weight of the berries u picked.

Pretty cool Apple picking farm. I haven't Apple picked in ages so I don't have a clue what is a good rate for apples now at farms. In my mind I imagine apples to be dirt cheap at farms, we filled maybe a little over half a bag. We didn't go nuts with it, honestly how many apples do you plan on eating at home? I don't bake nor do I make my own cider so from my experience in the past, we always picked way too many apples and at least 70% of the apples we picked are usually given away to friends, relatives, neighbors, and colleagues. So I kept a goal of just sticking to 1 bag and that bag some how managed to come out to $25. Is that high or low? Who knows! Lewin farms is pretty deep into Long Island. The farm is great, big, whole place smelled like apple cider vinegar from all the fallen apples on the ground fermenting for weeks! There are a few downsides. 1. There are no signs showing you what kind of Apple trees are you picking. I can't tell if I'm picking Fuji, Granny Smith, etc. We're just plucking apples and biting down on them hoping it's the one we like. Can't help but feel for all those fallen apples... so wasteful. Pluck one and 3 other apples fall off. 2. No wagon rentals. You heard right, bring your own wagon, radio flyer or whatever! 3. I was hoping for more. Maybe I didn't explore more of the property. I thought there was a farm stand, pick your own veggies and stuff. All we saw were rows and rows of apples and no sign indication where the farm and veggies were. Verdict - would probably come back again and explore more. I'm almost certain that there's more to this farm. The best part about coming here was we came across one of our favorite places to eat, J&R's steakhouse!

Lewin Farms is consist of the store and Pick Your Own (fruits/berries/vegetables depending on the season). The store is stocked up by their local products, and their pies are a must!!! We also like stopping by at the store site for their hot menu; roasted corn, potatoes, warm apple cider donuts, ice cream, apple cider,... which ONLY accepts CASH. We feel that Lewin farms are one of the better farms for Pick Your Own: berries, peaches, apples , various vegetables. Today was our first time coming out here this year due to COVID (missed the berries and peaches). Overall the pricing are reasonable. Please keep in mind during the summer time, especially weekends they are Busy. The staff are friendly and courteous. For some reason the apple crops this year was a little disappointing, but this is something the staff can't control. Still to this day they do not have labels/notices what apple trees are located where; or at least a map (giant map on display for all to see where is what). We been coming here for a while and know where to go.

Great fruit picking area with great staff! Strawberries and blueberries were the only thing available when I visited, but we still spent over 3 hours picking! Google maps brings you to the main farm area where they sell the produce that they have grown, but the actual fruit picking areas are about 1/2 mile away. There are clear signs that will direct you to the correct fields. I go fruit picking in various places, but this is the first time I visited Lewin Farms. To my surprise, there were no entrance fees and no box fees- you only pay for what you pick and thats it! Other farms would charge a $15 entrance fee, along with a $3 box fee to hold the fruits you pick AND on top of that weigh the fruits we picked with the box we already paid for :(. We had really good time picking blueberries and strawberries. The fields were huge and there was plenty for everyone. Overall, I paid a total of $10 for one container of strawberries and one container of blueberries. It is a little bit out the way for me, but I would definitely come back!

This is an amazing farm that lets you pick your own crops off the field. They have everything in season you can think of - strawberries, gooseberries, blackberries, raspberries, current, blueberries, various veggies, watermelon, apples, peaches. People working are friendly and it's fun given the selection. The farm stand is also very nice and has plentiful options. I highly recommend them!

Went to pick strawberries. Although it was the end of the season still feel like we did well. The farm is 1/4 mile from the market so FYI. There are only porta potties so go with an empty bladder. 3dollara per lbs no entry fee and have apple cider donuts 10 do $5. Parking is limited but we were able to Find quickly people coming in and out. All in all a good little journey.

I've made the trek out to Lewin Farms from the city at least 1x/year for the last several years. I love the fresh fruit and produce they have on sale in the summer/fall months. The market is pretty large, carries a varied selection of goods for sale (not all of which they produce), and most items are very good. In particular, I love their corn! It's definitely more expensive than you would find at your local chain grocery store, but the quality is well worth the premium pricing. When I visited in late September 2019, it was going for roughly $0.50 each, less if you bought more. The Pick-Your-Own farms are also fun! Locations change each year and these changes are not posted on their website, so you have to call ahead or show up at the farm stand and follow the hand-written directions. This year, we went to their veggie field and apple orchard, and came home with a small bounty of eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, and a variety of apples. Note that the rows of veggies are planted very wide and are overgrown, so you have to step off the walking paths and into vegetable patches by at least 20 feet to even see any actual veggies. Everything along the edge of the walking paths will already be picked bare. With this in mind, don't make the same mistake I did and wear clothes that expose your legs knee-down. My only complaint is that at the apple orchard, they now charge a non-refundable entrance fee that is put towards your purchase of apples. The problem is that if you do not pick many apples, you will not get the difference back. Also, when they weigh your apples, they keep the scales turned away from you and just tell you what your price is, instead of showing you what you're paying for. In all, I don't mind paying a little more for the experience, but some of these standards of practice are just a little unsavory.

We went on 8/1/21 Sunday around 11:30 am. 3 places: farm stand, berry field and peach field are all within one minute drive. Farm stand and berry field even have their own parking lots. Convenient locations since they are all right off the main road. No entrance fee and no parking fee. They will give you free plastic bags or containers. Peaches: all $2.75 per lb : yellow peaches and donut peaches. Plenty of yellow peaches. You need more time to find good donut peach. Berries: raspberries ( very little left) ( $6.99 per lb ) blackberries ( $6.99 per lb ) and plenty of blueberries ( $6.25 per lb ). Right across from the berries in the same parking lot are sunflowers ( $2 ea or 6 for $10, but very limited selection. Some are nice but we gave up since occupied by bees), cucumber ( we can't find many) and green and yellow zucchini ( plentiful and huge ). All $1 per lb. Fruit stand: ATM machine, milk, bread, eggs, banana bread, pies, fruit and veggies, sunflowers ( $2.75 ea), roasted corn $3, apple cider donuts and ice cream. Con: No other children activities. No sign to state what crop is each row. You walk down and explore yourself. Tip: call to confirm opening for that day. May close due to bad weather. Recording will tell you what's available to pick. Farm stand closes on Tuesdays. Cash only.

I came here for the first time with some friends from school and it was about an hour away. It was disappointing that there was an $8 admission fee to go pick apples (even though the $8 can go towards purchasing 2 lbs of apples that were picked). Some of may friends had to wait outside and could not even join in the fun of picking apples because it was $8 that would merely be for admission to the area because they did not want to take apples home. Other than this, the food stands were very good offering corn on the cob, apple cider donuts, ice cream, snow cones, and more! There are so many things you can do at Lewin Farms other than eat and pick apples for they have a corn maze, vegetable picking, a market, plants to purchase, etc. Though I was not able to do all there is to do at Lewin Farms, it was a cute place and I had an overall good experience!

Love their fruits and vegetables! Great place to go in the fall for corn. Everything is good here from their sweets to their ciders.

First time strawberry picking! The most delicious & succulent strawberries I ever had. Apple Cider donuts are hefty and very moist, superbly delectable as well. Only discrepancy is beware of the fruits sold inside the market. All the peaches we brought home were all rotten in the core unfortunately.

Strawberry picking here was so fun!! The fields are huge and smell sweet like strawberry jam as you tread your way through looking for the plumpest, sweetest berries. This was the perfect outdoor activity for the summer and you can get so many berries for the price. I recommend going deeper into the fields because there are different varieties they plant and some are sweeter than others.

A disappointed visit, pick your own is closed on today visit. Nothing much to review. I bought their famous home made strawberry flavored ice cream. Satisfied my craving. I will come back once it is re-open and update a review.

I like going here. You can get a lot of items for a low price. What beats fresh anyway? Nothing. They are well stocked on everything.

Just pay for the stuffs you pick by the pound, no admission fee which is good for large party where some people just want to hang out. A no frill farm for u pick with no entertainment for the kids which is fine for me but if you have kids you might want to consider other farm that has playground for kids. Cash only on the fields for U picks. Their ice cream is highly recommended. Farmstand does charge a fee if pay with credit card.

You cannot beat this for the price and friendly staff! 2019 trees are 45. If you pay the 5 dollar rental for a saw at admittance then the tree will only be 40 at checkout. We also picked some of these red berry like weed things which we were not charged separately for. We use them as tree fillers. The crop hasn't been the best but that is an area issue not a Lewin farm issue. If you can make it out to Lewin definitely do as you will not regret it.

This was my first berry-picking experience in Long Island, and I have to say it was honestly a little disappointing. We might have came towards the tail-end of the peak picking season because the blueberry bushes were looking a little sparse. The meager number of blueberries we managed to pick were a little tart, and the brutally hot weather discouraged us from going to the other side of the field to scout for blackberries and raspberries. That being said, I still had a fantastic time largely in part due to the peach orchards across the road. Juicy, ripe, plentiful-- these were everything the berries weren't, PLUS there was sweet, merciful shade provided by the trees. I left Lewin Farms with probably 3-4 pounds worth of peaches on Sunday, and currently I have a pound left. These peaches are seriously amazing. We also went to their marketplace, which sells a bunch of produce, dairy, and baked goods for cheap. Nothing is better than fresh, local produce and the zucchini and plums I purchased were fantastic. I wish I bought more, but since Lewin Farms is only a quick, traffic-free 2 hour drive from Brooklyn, I just might zip down again next Sunday morning.

We had a great experience here on Sunday Morning. We drove out for some strawberry picking and it was a great success! In light of covid the staff really did a great job at making you feel comfortable. They setup hand washing stations to use before and after entering the field, all employees wore masks and the fields are huge so it's pretty easy to space out from others, or to just go to another spot if you feel like people are getting too close. My daughter loves picking fruits, we were there over an hour and got over 4lbs worth at $3 a pound you can't beat this place. And they are delicious! Afterwards we went to the farm stand which was excellent well, stocked better than the supermarkets by my house with so much fresh produce. We purchased cucumbers, lettuce, nectarines, plums, Brussel sprouts, peppers and lots of herbs. I literally felt like I hit the jackpot, pricing is great as well, and everything so far has tasted delicious. What a great family day, thanks for an excellent time

Pros: Very clean and organized. Easy access. Good for kids. The price is good: $3/lb. The location is closed to Tanger Outlets. Cons: A little far from the city. No staff to stop the car for people to cross the road.

Went here for strawberry picking, overall a great experience. The place was filled with people when we arrive on a Sunday evening but the farm is so huge that everyone was able to spread out. TIP: berries are $2.50 a lb which is a great deal There were a lot of fresh berries but you really have to look for them since they are low to the ground. Dont be fooled! Will definitely be returning here for more berry picking!

I visit this farm every single time I head out East! The poeple are very friendly whenever I go to pick pumpkins, peaches, apples, you name it! They have so many choices all throughout the year so it I highly recommend trying this farm out during different seasons. My personal favorite is definitel the pumpkin picking. There is an all you can carry deal for i believe $20 that I do with my family every year, it is a great experience and hilarious photo oppurtunity. We have photos of my dad carrying a TON of pumpkins for the past decade at least. I recommend this place for a fun experience with family and friends!

We had THE best time pumpkin, squash, and gourd picking on Saturday! Fields are large enough to easily social distance, they have signs saying mask required, and the pumpkins and gourds were beautiful and bountiful! 10/10 experience definitely check it out, we'll be back next season!

We love coming here with the family to pick and cut down our Christmas tree if your coming from the city like we do it's about 1 1/2 drive but it's well worth it the farm is huge and the kids love it after you park your car you walk in and you rent a saw for $5 which is refundable after your return it if you have one then you can bring your own once your inside you are free to walk around the farm or take a tractor ride around the farm you get off when you want and walk until you find the perfect tree once you find it you cut it down and the tractor which is alway driving around will help you load it and take it to the front where they will wrap it for you any tree you get is only $40 regardless of size or style definitely an enjoyable time to spend with the family we have made this a family tradition to come cut our tree every year

came today with family and friends for some apple picking. the weather was perfect the service was friendly and we found a bounty of beautiful apples. (We got two baskets at six dollars apiece and filled them both to the brim.) I would highly recommend anyone who picks apples here to bring cash and lots of it: two big baskets of apples came up to $101. (About 60-75 apples) I take away a star for not taking card. Had to leave and drive a mile for the atm which wasn't convenient. Otherwise would return!

Highly recommend!! My family went twice this summer to pick blackberries, raspberries and peaches and kids are asking to go again. They also had pick your own currants and gooseberries, which is quite rare! Prices are very reasonable and the place is never crowded. As far as taste, our favorites so far are blueberries and gooseberries. Keep in mind that they are closed on Tuesday!!

Lewins Farms is a nice place to spend a beautiful day with the family. You can pick apples, pumpkins and many other veggies. If picking isn't your thing there is a big general store where you buy all different kinds of vegetables as well as ghjords. Definately a nice place to spend with your family.

We usually go to upstate NY for apple picking but given the cost of gas and tolls we decided to go to a Long Island farm. We picked Lewin Farms over many of the other U-Pick places because they charge $1 per pound. My kids had a great time and the apples are so good we left with over 70 pounds of apples! Afterward we visited the farm for fresh veggies. Don't miss the roasted corn at the farm! The kids are all ready asking to go again. Tip: bring some strong bags; the plastic ones do break.
