I had a chance to buy Cyclone in sheep skin as well as spiked Death or Glory belt - both look ultra classy ! I ordered the Lightening 392 bike jacket from LL dealing with Rex. The service has thus far been second to none. He has been very helpful throughout. My order has taken a while ( approx 6 months from order to receipt). I was a little apprehensive about the measurements I gave as was unable to visit the shop. I altered my order in the chest approximately 2 months following the original order hence the time it’s taken. The quality and tailoring of this jacket is superb and I’ve every hope and expectation this will last for many years to come. I ordered cow hide so will take a while to ‘wear in’ but it’s perfect material for a bike jacket. Well done guys for providing a first class product and excellent customer service. Just proves the traditional bike people are definitely worth going to.

The store is very nice and has a wide range of leather jackets. Tailoring can be done to suit the customer. The clerk is very professional and very friendly. I have a Corsair. Visiting Lewis Leathers is a special and unique experience. Quality is top drawer. Staff courtesy and helpfulness is outstanding. I am a lifelong Norton rider and my jacket with its long historic legacy is a major part of my whole motorcycling experience.

Holy cow! What a shop - tho Harley will always be my choice of hog this place really is something. The guys working there know their chops and the jackets are a friggen force to be reckoned with!! Open up a shop in San Antonio and I’ll be there everyday. But hey - maybe next year Santa will leave me a little something under the tree?! A must see if your in The Big Smoke

Having recently returned to motorcycling after a break of 15 years I Called into the shop while on a 2 day visit to London to purchase a leather lighting jacket. The young man who dealt with me was friendly knowledgeable and very helpful.  After trying on several sizes we Managed to find my perfect jacket off the peg. Having owed a lewis leather jacket purchased from the Portland Rd shop in early 80s which I unfortunately grew out of! I was pleased to find the quality was certainly still present in the leather and construction and love the retro style it's so good to know we can still produce quality products in this country. Highly recommended

Had a delightful chat with the gentlemen here. Was sort of interested in the idea of a n8ce leather jacket, but failed to realize how pricey a genuine handmade leather jacket would cost. My buddy that was with me didn't seem to mind, bought himself a beautiful leather jacket. Every thing here is handmade, the jackets are made to order. Whether you want horse leather, sheep's leather, dark tones, light tones, they will make you anything. Tried on a few jackets at least, the quality is spectacular.

Iconic and historic British motorcycle leather company, making a range of classic motorcycle jackets and accessories, such as belts and boots. They have jackets and designs go back 70 years, and can be seen in a number of films of the 1950s and 1960s. The quality is very high, since they use premium smooth leathers, but then so are the prices: expect to pay close to £800 for a jacket. You can buy off-the-peg in the shop (they have a large range of stock there) but they will also make small adjustments to stock sizes if you want a jacket made. This is what I had done when I purchased a jacket eight years ago. You can also order one of the standard designs in a range of colours (including white, yellow, red, and blue) as well as the classic black and brown. Some of the design is also available in suede. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, as he would expect for a premium service.

Ordered & paid £1,268.91on 5/1, no response so I emailed on 5/6 received apology that evening, the next day I received a follow up email with wrong measurements to my custom jacket, out of the 8 spots they ask you to measure the email only had 3,measurements and they were wrong. i emailed back pointing out the mistakes and explained once again my measurements and waited but nothing, 2 weeks go by I ask what was going on, no response, finally I just ask to cancel on 5/16 and they didn't respond, I contacted my credit card and emailed them again on 5/19, once I mentioned that i disputedo the charges they contact me back and say they are refunding, 3 more emails and today is 5/31/22 with no refund.

For anyone who is looking for tip top professional service along with incredible craftsmanship look no further. I discovered Lewis Leathers when I was a teenager and have been in love with their jackets ever since. Now that I've purchased one I can't describe the happy giddy feeling I got when I first got my jacket. It's very much similar to a child in a toy store. That same warm joyful moment, a moment you'll never forget. Jack, James, Lily and the rest of the team has shown me the upmost hospitality and brilliant customer service a business could offer. Although I haven't been to the physical location just yet, it's definitely on my bucket list to shake these individuals hands. Thanks again for making my Christmas awesome. Lewis leathers is almost like a trip to Italy , where quality leather is produced. It's a beautiful shop, beautifully designed, and each and every product is superb.Shoes, jackets, you name it, their quality is second to none.The class, the style , they are remarkable and never fail to impress me.

Historic place went with a huge high. got a really cool belt, unglued after a couple of month. chinese handled manufacturing a really unkind. a let down. never again

I bought a Lewis Leathers jacket 17 years ago and it has held up wonderfully! I do condition it but it has worn really nicely. They are not cheap but well worth a life time purchase! So if you want a life time jacket or other then this is your place. Sure you can spend less but will it last is the question!?!? I remember the rep of the store wanted to make absolutely sure the jacket fit right, looked right, and that I was 100% happy with the purchase. That was a long time ago and I happened to find the original tag from the purchase and thought I'd put in my two cents...great great products period. Again if you are looking for a one time purchase of a life time jacket for example then this is your place to make that investment! :)

Lewis leathers produce a class product. it's as simple as that. I don't think anyone who owns Lewis boots Jackets.whatever, would question the quality. I have never (that means never) met anyone who owns Lewis leathers kit, ever question the quality. People will, dare I say, slag them off because they are highly priced, and will often seek to rubbish them perhaps because they cant afford them. Loads of things id like, can't afford, but that is no reason for me to slag them off. You can buy cheaper kit, that's for sure. However, put their kit on, try their boots, try their jackets on, and you will say "ya know what, highly priced (expensive implies not value for money) but class kit You get what you pay for, at least that's what I think. Lewis leathers really is more than buying a pair of boots, more than buying a jacket. It's the kind of kit you buy once, guaranteed to last many, many years.it class kit. It is not high fashion, it is not the kind of kit you buy and change next year. If you are the kind of buyer who likes to buy, and change and change again then Lewis kit is probably not the right buy. It's highly priced, would be a waste to buy and just change it because it is a lot of money. However, if you are the type of buyer that likes to buy something stylish, something class, buy it once knowing it will last, and are happy to (in due course) wear kit a few years old (Still looking great mind you) then go ahead and buy Lewis leathers. Highly priced, high qualityclass kit that you will never regret buying! Note below added 8th June 2012. Since buying these boots I had a problem with the zip one of the boots. However, because of matters I wont go in to now, it was some timemonths in fact before I got round to sending them back to Lewis leathers. Delighted to report that boots were exchanged for another brand new pair. Faulty zip? Hey things go wrong. Its not things going wrong that the problem, it's how you put it right. Delighted to report Lewis leathers stepped up to the mark and did the right thing. No complaints from me. You get what you pay for. Simple as that.
