The 18 Best Saint-Martin Restaurants | Eater

"This popular corner bakery and cafe near the Marigot waterfront (owned by the team from Bacchus) knows their way around proper French pastries. They’ve got all your favorites — deep golden and flaky croissants, pain au chocolat, and tart au citron — along with cafe press, teas, and tisanes. The biggest revelation is the pistachio financier, which outshines other versions of the buttery cakes that are usually smaller than a business card; here, they’re delightfully large, pale green muffins. Wonderful bakery, great spot to pick up breakfast or quick lunch options. My boys loved their pepperoni pizza slices.

We've been here a few times now and it never disappoints. If you're looking for some pastry, coffee, or sweet delectable then this is a nice place to go! I always get the almond croissant (with and without chocolate)😍. The cookies are okay too and so is the cappuccino 🙂. Give this place a try!

Love this place. Great French pastries without being in France! Quick, efficient, and fresh. We have the luxury of being in walking distance. There are a few locations around the island. Can get a bit crowded when they are busy. There are no views at this place, so I would suggest ordering to go. Take advantage and eat some delicious pastries for lunch or breakfast!

L’EXPRESS in Nettle Bay was our go-to spot for quick, delicious bites during our stay. The sandwiches, pastries, and fresh baguettes were all excellent — perfect for breakfast or a beach picnic. The staff was absolutely wonderful and super patient with our broken French — friendly, helpful, and always smiling. A great little local gem if you're staying near Baie Nettle. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in St. Martin!

Fresh baked giods, anything from sweet to savory. Exceptional sourdough bread, quiche and coffee. Opens early is a bonus.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with the customer service at this establishment. The young lady at the register was extremely rude and dismissive towards us as American customers. Despite being first in line to pay for a croissant, she completely ignored us and proceeded to serve French-speaking customers behind us without a word of acknowledgment. Regrettably, our experience was not only tainted by poor service but also by the quality of the croissant, which was disappointingly dry. Given the abundance of excellent bakeries on the island with much friendlier staff, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.”

Very nice French bakery with great service. We had some Italian paninies and chroasans with dessert chocolate tort. Everything was good, the place was very clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. All prices are very affordable for food quality. They have all sorts of goodies: croissants, muffins, sandwiches, pizza, very good selection of desserts and baget (other bread too). They sell drinks and coffee as well.
