Crypto.com Arena’s Coming Upgrades Mean Big Food Changes — For Rich People | Eater LA

"Included in the suite-level concourse redesigns, the Lexus Club is likewise being overhauled and is marketed as “exclusive dining” for suite holders, indicating upgrades will primarily benefit premium guests rather than the general public." - Farley Elliott

Food was really great, drinks were great, and the service was the best of all. Everyone was friendly, smiling, and having a good time. My wife and I would definitely consider the Lexus Club again!

Google
If you don't mind spending a bit it is a fantastic place for a before game dinner. Probably spend just as much on concourse food and get a much better sit down, atmosphere and great buffet food

Google
It was good. Good selection. Good quality. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. But not great. The carving stations and good quality, fresh, hot food made it worth the $55/person price. And maybe that's all it is supposed to be. But flavors didn't jump off the plate. It wasn't near the culinary experience I've had at half that price. A week from now I won't remember the food. But, I would still consider going again before an event at PPG Arena. It made the 2 hours before the show relaxing and stress free. That was worth the price. Photo is from our course at the soup and salad bar. There's also a pasta/sandwich station, entrees station, and dessert station.

Everyone had a great attitude. I laughed and joked with many of the floor staff, despite me wearing my visiting team gear. The food was good, but not great, though the variety was excellent. I really liked the salad and dressing options.

Went to the St Patrick's Day game on 3.17.24. Bobby was our bartender in the Lexus club. He was amazing.

Google
All the meat products were dry like leather. The prime rib was so so dry. Pasta, no red sauce. The pesto pasta was not warm. Was not worth the money. The waitress was very nice.

Google
Sub par food, way overpriced. Our server was sweet, but completely thrown to the wolves by hostile, uncaring management. We missed the start of the concert because of delays with our bill. No apologies were given, even though it was completely their mistake. Do not waste your time or money here.

Google
Great food and great location. The desserts are AMAZING!! Everything is always fresh! If I had to say anything it would be I wish they would change up the buffet menu a bit and have a few more options on the main bar. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
Ok, I had low expectations and they were beaten. As others have described, this is a nice buffet restaurant in PPG arena. We had lunch before a penguins game. I'm between a 3 and a 4. The salads were very good, the soup was decent. The shrimp grits were honestly a 5. They were delicious, creamy with a little kick. The other 'entree' options were ok. The next best dish was a wrap with pork belly. It was very pork heavy (4 dishes had some form of pork), fine for me but not great for all diners. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for a vegetarian. Desserts looked good, but were meh. And the price is up to $62. That's fine for a 5 start restaurant. And when we were ready to head to the game, our server disappeared, and the three people standing at the door (literally doing nothing) wouldn't or couldn't help us.

Yelp
A must try experience when going to a Penguin's game. Buffet style with different stations. One of my favorite was the dessert station.

Yelp
This was a special occasion for our family as we don't usually dine somewhere this fancy & with the kids but we drove from far away to come see the Penguins play & wanted a nice meal. Make a reservation as it is recommended but if they do have space left over after reservations they may still be able to take you. Are waitress was so nice & so great with our 5 year old daughter who was so excited to be there. She went above & beyond to make a happy girl even happier. Thank you for making it a great time for her. Only minor things both the chicken & fish were a bit dry and we were in the first seating when they opened. Not too big of a deal but my husband also agreed. It would have been nice to have a few more options that are kid friendly even though it is tailored more towards adults. All and all such a wonderful experience. The women at the host desk were also so sweet to my daughter and it really made my night as a parent a lot more enjoyable knowing that staff was annoyed/anxious a young child was there. I have been to restaurants were staff act like that and it just makes is uncomfortable.

Yelp
Amazing experience at Lexus club. Got there early on Saturday so we got to go in. You have to go to the entrance and show them your ticket with Lexus club access. (Your ticket either has it or it does not). You take the elevator to the Lexus club. We did not have reservations and could not just sit at the bar as there was no seating. It was open for dining though. It's 60 bucks for adults and 30 for kids. Since it was a one time thing, I splurged. It's buffet-style with hand carved meats, full salad bar, pasta bar, and a chef-inspired choice. My son went crazy for the desserts. He had three different attempts at it and why not? They were very intricate and good. I enjoyed the meats and sides. I skipped the pasta. Service was nice. You could tell they cater to all types. It was about the experience though. Food was served with real China and the table was set with a legit salad fork. I hadn't seen one of those since college Post pandemic, you gotta pay with a card. No cash accepted for payment. Either way, if you ever get tickets with this access, go eat and don't worry about the price tag. It was worth saying we got to go one time! P.S.: Let's go Pens! :-)

Yelp
My wife and I had a fantastic dining experience at the Lexus Club prior to a fantastic concert experience with Rod Stewart. The food and service could not have been better. I hope to repeat this experience again soon!

Yelp
First and last time at The Lexus Club. I was not impressed at all. I'm assuming the price was so high to keep up with all the other over priced food at PPG, but for $55, I was expecting to be blown away. The Lexus Club is an all you can eat buffet inside PPG Paints Arena that is available for premium seat tickets. The buffet included soup, salad, meat, fish, sides, a carving station, and a dessert bar. The chicken cordon bleu was delicious, but all the entrees really fell flat. The steak was not only well done, but cold. HOW? the pork at the carving station was also cold. And so was the Italian squash. Also, there wasn't enough vegetable sides in my opinion. They did have a sweet potato fosters bar that was wonderful. And the desserts were great and offered a huge variety. I just wish the food was warm and better quality. I also didn't think the service was that great. $55 can get you a WAY better meal in downtown Pittsburgh, so I highly suggest skipping The Lexus Club and going somewhere else.

Yelp
Service was great. The atmosphere is great. Very disappointed with the food stations. The theme was Irish. Flank steak was cold not much flavor. Corn beef taco loved the idea again not much flavor.

Yelp
Pretty sad My first visit was better but the bar ruins it completely. Sure the bar oaf can pour a draft or whip up a rum and coke but he has no talent or class Our old fashioned was watered down The bartender oaf tried making my margarita in an old fashioned glass He had no intent on shaking it either He took garnish slices and squished them with his bare hands for my margarita... I was horrified and declined the drink. I settled for the $9 bottled wine cooler He was so unprofessional and unskilled. I saw him dip a glass straight into the ice bin. That's s no no Typical union worker Potatoes were undercooked and the bread was cold and hard. The variety we had a year ago was not there this time The desserts were not special except the record cookies. Those are superb with album names on them

Yelp
The Lexus Club is a restaurant within the Consol Energy Center. You must b e a member or have Club tickets to an event to get in. The Lexus Club is a large restaurant that, before hockey games, offers an extremely upscale buffet. Pricey at around $50 per person. Well appointed with dishes you normally would not find on a buffet. Lollipop lamb chops, Cajun Pork Loin, Prime Rib, Roast Duck, are just some of the things you may find. Great desserts. Expansive appetizer and salad choices and a pasta station as well. **you must have tickets for Lexus Club, Captain Morgan Club or First Niagara Club seats in order to dine in the Lexus Club** Synopsis: Pricey to say the least but a flashy buffet you don't feel totally bad to pay $50 for. Worth trying if you like trying new things and aren't solely a meat and potatoes kinda person.

Yelp
We went before last night's Pens game (got to see the goalies go at it, that was SO awesome!) Reservations are a must! **you must have tickets for Lexus Club, Captain Morgan Club or First Niagara Club seats in order to dine in the Lexus Club** Buffet style dining with loads of panache and glamor, even for those of us dressed in hockey jerseys (or worse!) A classy atmosphere even though it is a ginormous room for 200 or so, except for the shiny new Lexus car sitting on a platform---really? Ick. I believe this is an Aramark catering establishment. Well staffed, great service. In fact I would give it 4 stars for that, but the food just brought it down. What I sampled from the buffet: ginger-carrot puree--inedible, it was so salty. Spinach salad--would have been better if I could add the dressing myself cheese and meat platter. Meats were cubed beautifully, but the cheeses were displayed whole with very dull knives to chunk off a piece or two. A real line-clogger of a platter. Pork Loin Roast, nice and tender Lamb Stew-meat so tender, had a Moroccan spiced flavor. My favorite savory item. Baked Haddock- the "lightest" entree item I could find, ultra crispy cracker topping (maybe it was panko, I didn't eat with my glasses on, lol) Braised purple cabbage with bacon-so so so bland. Lemon Berry cake- best of show for my dinner. A lemon 2-layer cake studded with cranberries (!) and maybe some other kind of berry too (still no glasses) with a generous lemony frosting between the layers. Tasted hubby's Tiramisu--a cute little pre-cut 3" square, all the flavors were there. I really wish there were a few healthy options to be had, especially in the vegetables! Most were so creamed or sauced or cheesed that I didn't even taste them. Having a few steamed veggies or undressed salads available does not seem like it would be a gargantuan add to the work load of a busy restaurant such as this. Oh! about the price--($45 per person) dinner for two plus on glass of wine and one beer was $115

Yelp
For the hungry! Big buffet. Some great experiments like cabbage and spaetzle. Attentive staff. Lost a star for atmosphere (missing) and substandard desserts (whipped sugar in many forms).
