LaGuardia Airport/Terminal B

Established in 1929 and beginning to operate as a public airport in 1939, LaGuardia Airport, named after one of New York's mayors and located in Queens, is the smallest of the three New York airports. It’s only international flights to and from Canada. Being raised in Astoria, I couldn’t wait to see the new LaGuardia Airport, known for its four busy terminals (A, B, C, and D) offering stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Upon arrival at Terminal B last Wednesday, it was in the central area of the airport and had four concourses, being the largest and busiest terminal with 35 gates. It featured floor-to-ceiling windows that filled the building with natural light and stunning artworks. i.e., "Shorter Than the Day” (2020) by Sarah Sze and Laura Owens, I 🍕 NY. The standard TSA wait time is approximately 10 to 20 minutes. However, the staff did allow using the old scanner at times to speed up the lines. I have been informed that inside was nice with a lot of dining options. The centerpiece is the two 25-foot circular rings creating a water curtain with falling water drops, enhanced with LED lighting and video projections, which gives a nice and relaxed feeling, calming one’s travel anxiety. They even have a pet relief area. There are not enough charging stations, and they are not in convenient places. They are mostly electric outlets around columns and not close to the seats. At the arrivals level, nine new large baggage carousels offer additional space for distancing at baggage pickup. New York City has come a long way with this airport! Very impressive!

One of the good airports in the US, very fresh and new. The security was very quick and well managed . Have good sitting areas, clean restrooms, decent number of food and beverages outlets. The center piece is fountain which gives a nice and relaxed feeling, calming your travel anxiety.

Really welcome this new renovated terminal. It's a lot more comfortable flying out of here now. There's a lot of food and drink option (although still really pricey) and decent amount of seating with outlets and USB chargers. Parts of the terminal are still being built/renovated but it's good to see improvement. The restrooms are clean and functional. It's "easier" to access public transpiration, just out side the baggage claims. The Q70 runs regularly and it offers a Free shuttle to the subway (Roosevelt station).

This is the nicest airport terminal in the tri-state area. Nice decorative features, good dining options and various lounges.

They have Pet Relief restroom. Great for people who travel with pets. In the normal restroom, they also provide 4 holders. If my grandma is here, I will choose this airport for her. The music water fountain is so cool!

Airport looks really nice and modern with a unique decor. They have a high tech waterfall that turns on and off itself.

LGA Terminal B Atrium bar & cafe is a fantastic place to eat, drink & chill incase you have some time to kill at LGA. Beautifully decorated overlooking the airport apron for Southwest & Jetblue terminals. Better than the airport paid lounges of United or Air Canada

I have used LaGuardia airport before, looked old and under construction. This time used Terminal B. Multiple cancellations and delays for JetBlue. New construction looks nice. high ceiling, bright and open with modern look. Not enough charging stations and not in convenient places, mostly electric outlet around columns and not close to the seats. Definitely not enough. Some shortage of signage noted. A lot of food and beverage places. High prices for food items, sandwich around 12-15$, pricey. No recliner seats that you see in major airports for testing. Enough well placed bathrooms. Overall for a new construction would have liked more attention to convenience.

Terminal is beautiful, but the food options are embarrassing, disgusting and always disappointing. The same old garbage. Overpriced garbage. There is not even one high-end dining establishment anywhere to be found in terminal B. I'm sure it's the same in all of the LGA terminals. At least Denver has Elway's which is amazing, expensive, fabulous, and worth every nickel.

This place is beautiful and easy to navigate. Highly recommend that you get Touchless Entry with American as Terminal B does not have CLEAR. Walked right past a 30 minute pre-check and hour long regular TSA. 30 seconds through gate entry and 2 minutes through bag check. Outstanding!

This is the first time I've flown at LGA since maybe 2018 when I was still living in Queens. That means I was here when LGA was still the LGA of old. I don't remember ever traveling through the old Terminal B, though I did spend some time through Terminal C, I think. Anyhow, both terminals got a facelift since and I just took it on a flight down to Miami via American Airlines. As was the case in the past, the SBS is your best friend getting to/from the airport. After that, you end up in the lower ground, which apparently is the arrivals section. You then have to take 2 sets of escalators all the way up to the check in hall. From there, I found security to be a breeze here with TSA Pre. No inefficiencies like the new Terminal A at Newark. From there, you take another escalator up (gotta build up, right?) and then you enter a duty free section (which is funny because I think the furthest international LGA flies out to is maybe Aruba) and then a circular concourse with a bunch of food options. Lot of quick options here. There was a noodle bar we got ramen at (Talde), but outside of that most of the other options were known names (Dunkin, Wendy's, Dos Toros, Starbucks, Zaros, etc.). There are two wings to the terminal: Gates 11-31 and then 40-59. The 11-31 wing mostly contains American Airlines flights as there is an AA lounge before you depart down the escalators. There are some options for food too, including Melt Shop and a Mexican restaurant, I think. Also a table service seafood restaurant too. All in all, a very clean terminal and a much needed refresh.

Awesome and very well designed new terminal at La Guardia airport and it's so nice and easy to figure out!! I would much rather fly in and out of this airport than JFK. TSA agents are so nice and happy to be here!

Wow, you would've never caught me att this airport/ terminal a few years ago. LGA was known for its worn down and ugly interior. Now you have a modern, clean and vibrant terminal. They are still in the process of renovations with the entire airport even on the entry roads to get to the airport. I saw plenty of restaurants and places to shop. I love how they designed the food court so it centers the beautiful waterfall display. Even the monitors that show departures and arrival times are upgraded. I'm an American Airlines member so it's good to know this terminal is up and ready. Traveling can be anxious so having a clean and modern airport with a cool ambience to chill before and/or takeoff is important.

With all of the recent renovations, LaGuardia Airport is now my go-to airport whenever I need to go to NYC. I usually fly with Southwest or American Airlines, so I've only gone through terminal B. If you're coming via a Q70 bus, it'll be the 3rd stop. This is now a world class terminal with good food options and some good shops. Well done.

The Terminal B remodel looks wonderful. You forget you are at an old airport and instead feel like you are in an airport that opened up just the other day. It's really beautiful. I particularly liked the new water fountain in the center of the food court area that has water falling down in synchronized shapes. I just wish there were some more benches or chairs to sit and relax while watching the fountain cycle through its programmed shows. Check in and security was a breeze. Everything was open and efficient. It was the passengers slowing things down, not TSA. They had things down to a science which I really appreciated. Other airports should take notes. I will say some of the gates felt a bit cramped together which lead to some confusion as to which area you needed to stand to make sure you were in the right gate line, but that's a problem with almost every airport. I really appreciated all of the large windows that looked out onto the rivers and other terminals. It was really relaxing watching the sun rise over the tarmac as planes came in and out of their gates. In all, LaGuardia Terminal B is a wonderful experience. I often find air travel incredibly stressful these days but I wasn't the least bit stressed while going through this terminal.

This is not my favorite airport but does the trick for a quick flight home. Located on the northwestern shore of Long Island, bordering Flushing Bay, LaGuardia covers 680 acres (280 hectares). It is named after former New York City mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia. LGA is the closest airport to Manhattan. Terminals LGA has three terminals: A, B, and C, connected by shuttle buses and walkways. Terminal A is the oldest, known as the Marine Air Terminal. Terminals B and C are new and renovated as part of a multi-billion dollar project completed in January 2025. Terminal B was recognized as the "World's Best New Airport Terminal" in 2023 and has a 5-star rating from Skytrax. Each terminal has its own security checkpoints. Airlines and Destinations LaGuardia is a hub for American Airlines and Delta Air Lines and is served by other airlines including Air Canada, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, United. It primarily serves domestic destinations and some international destinations with U.S. border preclearance, such as flights from Canada. A perimeter rule prohibits most nonstop flights to or from destinations over 1,500 miles (2,400 km). Transportation Public Transportation: Five MTA bus routes serve the airport, including the M60 SBS and the free LaGuardia Link Q70 Select Bus Services. The Q70 connects to subway lines and the Long Island Rail Road. Taxis: Taxis are available at all terminals. Ride-Sharing Services: Services like Uber and Lyft operate with designated pick-up and drop-off areas. Shuttle Services: Companies like GO Airlink NYC, All County Express, and ETS Airport Shuttle offer options. Rental Cars: Rental car offices are accessible via free shuttles from Terminal A. Notable Features Renovations: LaGuardia has undergone significant renovations, improving facilities. Art and Design: The renovated terminals feature art installations and modern design. Dining Options: A variety of dining options are available in all terminals. In summary, LaGuardia Airport (LGA) has been significantly improved, offering a modern experience primarily for domestic travelers with some international options from precleared locations.

Easy to navigate and some interesting experiences inside. Terminal B has some international flights and is pretty busy. However, it is pretty smooth if you plan your trip beforehand. My only issue is that on the web maps, it looked like Air Canada flies the terminal A. I found my mistake pretty quickly and it was an easy trip on the airport shuttle you Terminal B. Best thing about Terminal B is the funky water feature with a laser light show. Totally unexpected.

LaGuardia Airport is beautiful. I haven't flown out of LaGuardia in decades. I was pleasantly surprised of all the upgrades, bar/restaurants and quick convenient check in. Amazing experience compared to JFK. Stopped to have a cocktail at Panorama Bar but be prepared to spend $20 for a glass of wine and $13 for a beer.

Before I flew out of gate 20 I had one of the most wonderful cocktails I've ever had. In my 63 years. Near gate 20 was Mi Casa and saw the promotion for the cocktail Open Water. Wow, my taste buds delighted in the refreshing taste, and my person enjoyed the friendly 'employees who greeted me with a smile and took great care to be sure I had enough water along with my cocktail. Thank you, MiCasa for wonderfully sending me off on my flight.

Actually quite nice compared to the historic version of this terminal. First, reserved parking on Terminal B parking floor #4 (along with some EV parking). That goes straight into the terminal departure area to check-in and head up to security. TSA pre-check was quick and simple on a Friday mid-day (around 10:30a), and we were through quickly. Past security, you walk through a shop before you get to lounges/gates (almost like exiting a Disney ride). The bridge over to the gate area is cool, big enough for planes to go right under (unlike Denver where you go underground). Gate areas are fine, not as many charging ports as at Newark, but ok. Sapphire Lounge is nice, here, too, down to the 1st floor after going from the gate area. United Club on the second level.

This was my first time flying out of La Guardia and I almost missed my flight home since I couldn't locate the Rental Car Drop Off area that the airport. I pulled aside and asked the staff at Departures, "Where do I return my car?"...and no one knew! So after circling the airport twice- and going to the gas station closest to the airport and asking the staff there- still no idea how to get rid of the rental car. I pulled off into a neighborhood, stopped my car, and googled "Enterprise Rent-a-Car near La Guardia". SHORT ANSWER: There is NO CAR RENTAL RETURN!!! All of the different rental agencies just have their own address someone within a mile or two of the airport, and they are not all in the same place. I accidentally ended up at a Hertz or Avis, thinking I was close since wouldn't Enterprise be close? Nope. Had to get back into traffic for another drive. All in, I spent 45 minutes trying to locate the Car Rental Return, and then waiting another 10-15 minutes for a shuttle to get me back to the airport. Once inside the airport, I was able to get through Security and sprint to my gate, with about 3 minutes to spare. The airport itself was fine, but please add signage for Car Rental Return or just say "No Car Rental Return at La Guardia... Google the address of each business and drive yourself there."

What a difference millions and millions and millions of dollars investment can make! Absolutely state of the art, beautiful, nicely finished airport terminal. Solid selection of food, including vegetarian, and health food options. Plenty of shopping and just beautiful views from the terminal. Direct flights from New York City to Omaha, which is a plus!

We've only used Terminal B in our travels and I wish all terminals at all airports could be like LGA Terminal B. It's new, clean, has soooo many food restaurants from fast food, to bars, to nice sit down restaurants to juice bars. There's also a lot of shopping if you have time to waste. The speaker system is great and well utilized making announcements that are appropriate for those in the seating area by announcing the flight number and gate they pertain to. Other NYC area airports are lacking in this area. There is a view of the downtown NYC skyline from a walkway bridge that also has a moving sidewalk to get you to your gate quickly. I'm always happy when our travels take us through LGA and Terminal B.

LaGuardia Airport used to be the butt of jokes - the worst airport anywhere. After extensive renovations, now it is beautiful! One of my favorite airports! The shiny newness of it makes it aesthetically pleasing everywhere you look. There are some striking art installations, large, clean bathrooms, and a variety of good food options - including our beloved Shake Shack. While I wish there was direct subway access like at JFK (via the AirTrain), the free Q70 LaGuardia bus link will take you to the Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street subway station in roughly 15 minutes.

Much better since the remodel completed a couple of years ago. It's fresh and bright instead of dingy and scary. My biggest complaint is sometimes when your plane lands they take way too long to open the doors and let you out of the plane. If you have some time to spare and don't have access to a lounge the middle part where the restaurants are is very nice.

The 4 stars is for nasty security people but keep reading because I'd love to have said 5. That's ALL securities fault. Inside LGA, the security attendants who check IDs- not nice AT ALL and this was only the beginning of their day! 5am. What would they be like after 8 or more hours?!? Wow. Was pulling up my virtual ticket on my phone and apparently a security guard must have legit *whispered* "next" and I was harshly scolded by another attendant (mine was mot at all upset) for looking at my phone and was told to "pay attention." I'm 40 ma'am. Excuse you. Who the hell you think you are? Get a different job or treat people better. However!!!! There was a man (I believe his name was Rocky but my memory is awful) God I really hope it was so he gets recognition- checking bags outside terminal B by the street and he was absolutely the KINDEST man I've ever met. He made my morning. If I've gotten his name wrong I WILL be back to give him the credit he is due once I call LGA. I know as of September 19th he was an employee of the month so that should say something! Thank you for remembering MY name and making me feel like a valued customer AND a human. I have legitimate memory issues and though I MAY have gotten your name wrong, I WON'T forget the impact you made on me and your other customers. Thank you for being you.

The staff at this airport is always professional and I continue to book flights at LaGuardia airport.

LGA has made leaps and bounds since my last trip to New York. It could not be easier to get to the airport on the M60 bus (which at present is 100% free with OMNY). This was a great experience.

Cuisine. GOOD. A quick service Food Hall along with a number of Dining establishments offering a wide variety of choices can be found at TERMINAL B. Glad to see local favorites like SHAKE SHACK, JUNIOR'S and DOS TOROS are represented here. LGA is now a nice modern upgraded facility featuring plenty of amenities. RECOMMEND.

LaGuardia has finally upgraded their airport. I have to say that I like it EXCEPT for the carpet. What is with the carpet? Is it a cheaper option? First of all, if you're still using an older roller board (like me), bc I don't want to spend any money, it's a nuisance to roll it. Do they test these things before or do they just do whatever? Also the carpet starts to smell after while. I do like that they have outlets at almost every seating at the gates, but the seats are uncomfortable especially with all the delays due to the canceled flights this week. Can you say hot mess?! Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about delays and cancellations due to the weather, but at least make the seating comfy knowing this is a regular occurrence for people to be stuck in the airport.

Since American Airline is my preferred airline, Terminal B is where the airline departs and arrives at. This terminal is one of the best I've be to. Upon arrival, walking into the terminal, there were plenty of self kiosk machines and gate agents for any assistance. I had checked my luggage with a friendly agent. From there, I pretty much walked right through the TSA area. From there, located the gate then walked around some. The upgraded terminal has a lot of various restaurants and shoppes to enjoy. There's even a water fountain from the ceiling which attracts a lot of spectators. From the airline staff and to the cleaning crew is an incredible terminal.

This terminal B is SO NICE!! Lounge access include Amex Centurion, Sky Canada and I think Delta lounge was there too? The entire terminal is pretty new and clean. Good amount of souvenir shops and restaurants and fast food including Shake Shack. The big attraction is definitely the waterfall and light show. The line to TSA can get busy like 40 min, we waited and then another 10ish minutes to get through the machines. The uber ride from Manhattan to LGA was worth it if you don't want to deal with your suitcase on the trains. We flew Southwest during this trip.

The New Terminal is just what New York needed. Clean airport with fast paced lines at TSA. Downloading apps for airlines you use saves time by checking in early or getting up to dates directly to you. My flight was early at 5:30am but I still had plenty of time to eat something all the stores were open and providing fresh food selections which is a great plus.

My friend and I came to THE SCOOP in terminal B of LaGuardia Airport this morning being July 25, 2025. There was a female employee of the airport sleeping/ nodding off every so often at a table. This made us very uncomfortable, so I bought our coffee and a water for me to take with my Tylenol. We started to sit a table but afterwards decided not to stay because that employee was clearly not an employee of THE SCOOP and another airport employee came to the table, used the microwave to warm up his food from chic-fill-a. and He sat at a table without buying anything and it appears that this is what's done at THE SCOOP. No room for paying customers. It looked like a hang-out-spot for airport employees and not really tailored for travelers. There was a real customer there eating a soup, but he looked very unhappy about the employees using the place as a hang-out-spot, too.

Terminal B has been revitalized and very nice area to spend time awaiting your flight. Plenty of areas to dine. Also several bars to relax at. They also have a pretty elaborate shopping area which they force you to enter while going to the terminals. I actually think this is bad placement as people are either on the way out or on their way in. Not easy to browse either. On this occasion, I just got a bagel for breakfast. I should of grabbed my husband a cheesecake to go but I was so tired...I didnt. The water show was the highlight of the terminal. It 's baseline appears to be water art and then turns into a full on water show. I saw at least to different versions of the water performance.

The renovation on this airport is beautiful. Everything is clean, tsa was easy - fast - friendly and everything is wonderfully labeled so it's easy to find your way around. Rideshare services also quick and easy to get to. They have a good selection of shopping and eating options if your flight is delayed 2 hours like mine was too. Great job with the renovations

LaGuardia has transformed itself into a nice international airport. Terminal B is beautiful. Easy to navigate with plenty of nice shops and places to eat if you get there early. Signage is easy to read and on point. Moving sidewalks make it easy to get to the gate. The only thing it's missing is a direct subway to NYC. There are easy and faster ways to get into Manhattan without spending $65 for a cab or an Uber but a direct line would be amazing!

La Guardia Terminal B is much nicer and newer. From checking in, going through security, walking through the gift shop and passing by food options, the whole experience is more like a modern, international airport. It is a bit of a walk to the gates so allow some time for that. After reaching the bottom of the escalator, leading to where the gates will be, there is a shake shack and some food and drink options

The food was pretty tasty! If you're looking for a great spot that's relaxing at the airport, then look no more. This is it! I spent over a hour on a comfy tourquise leather couch. Okayyyy, so the good stuff. I ordered a double shot of Tito's Vodka with cranberry and a slice of lime. Annnnd it was delicious!!!! The food: I ordered the Toasted Cauliflower Gratin with grilled chicken. It was the cheesiest and most delicious pasta I've ever had at an airport. My Goodness!!!!! I'm so glad that this was my choice. The chef didn't disappoint. The chicken was grilled to perfection and seasoned. Please do it! Visit the Spirit &Bell

It's amazing to see a place go from 0 stars to 5. It cost a few billion to do it but I think it will work out for the best. Terminal B has become a showcase for what an airline terminals should look and operate like. It is easy to access, plenty of drop off and pick up areas and big... really big and bright and layed out perfectly. Plenty of space to move about and plenty of smiling people to help direct you. We walked into the terminal for a Jetblue flight and went right to the auto-check in terminal. One minute later we gave our bag to the agent and proceeded to the Pre-Check TSA line. The whole process could not have taken more than five minutes. After getting our carry-on back we proceeded to the gate. We walked through a mini-mall of amazing stores and restaurants. I regretted through the whole flight that I did not stop at Zaros for a coffee and a bagel. The terminal waiting area is big, plenty of seating and plugs at all seats. Also, plenty of free Wi-Fi to go around comfortably. The place is amazing and all us New Yorkers should be very proud of it. KUDOs to the team at Laguardia Airport Terminal B.

Beautiful renovations and decorations. The fountain plays about 5 different music, light, and water shows. Very tranquil Lines were great and friendly service. Security line was very efficient and swift. Very enjoyable. - only Neg- was hoping there was a Nathan's Famous Hotdog stand in the cafe area- there wasn't.

Wow! This is one of the nicest airports I have been in. It's newly renovated and a job well done. Wish they would renovate O'Hare! It's very roomy, simple, with lots of nice shops -and places to eat and drink. Even the bathrooms are super nice considering it's an airport! It's like walking into a bathroom inside a one of those nice hotels. The bathroom stalls are so roomy! You can probably do a cartwheel in it. Very impressed.

Ever since the renovation, this is my favorite terminal ever. In most cases, the security line is always fast. Everyone is friendly and efficient. Walking through the terminal is a pleasure. It's a long walk, but the whole way there's either nice shops or restaurants. There's good food too - I like the croissants from Eli Zabar's store. The water feature is impressive. It's a fountain that dances to classic New York songs, with lots of chairs and climbing structures for kids around it. Having that water feature makes all the difference - kids and adults alike all stop to enjoy, even in the busy terminal. LGA is always my first choice of airport now that Terminal B has been outfitted with good food and nice aesthetics.

Elizabeth Esteves is the best United employee ever! She is so kind and helpful! I totally screwed up and ended up at the wrong airport with no time to get to the correct airport. She immediately jumped into action and helped fix this disaster with ease! She is so gracious and sweet and made the situation MUCH better! She turned something so stressful into a completely calm, fixed masterpiece. She will go very far in life and within United if she wishes:)

Wow! Terminal B has been completely revitalized since the last time I flew out of LaGuardia! The last time, I remember the construction taking place and so many things were either not open or very limited. I remember the WiFi not working, and even the outlets in the walls not working. This time, it felt like a brand new clean airport! There were so many new restaurants and shops, the floors were clean, and the whole vibe felt new and fresh. I got to the airport a little early for my flight out and was glad to be in Terminal B. I was able to get something to eat, relax, and charge my phone. It was a great airport to hang out in for a little bit. Terminal B might be my favorite choice to fly in or out of the city.

LaGuardia gets a lot of negative feedback, but I really love the new terminal. I can't speak for other airlines, but the Delta terminal is really nice. The staff is actually really nice for a change. They have the digital ID, which makes check-in super easy.

The new LGA is amazingly beautiful. It's worth the wait as everyone will say. I have never flown to LGA for years and was surprised with the renovation it made to the old ones. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping stalls would be seen . Flashy bathrooms. Clean grounds. New York is all over the terminals walls, ceilings , doors , literally all. The 4 level new terminal b is a place to hang out even your trip boarding time is hours away. Checking in is quick . The security check is fast especially if you are pre-tsa check. There are plenty of lines that you may get in. Everything is well marked. Still there is staff around if you have any questions. Get ready to walk long and take multiple flights of stairs / escalators to your boarding gates. Before that, please enjoy first the fountain show.

Honestly one of the cleanest terminals in LaGuardia. It has a bunch of shops, some restaurants and a nice little bar. Spacious unlike the others and the bathrooms are nice and clean-- looks like it was recently upgraded. They have water fountains to refill your water bottle (ones that actually work) and the workers are kind and nice should you need help.

Terminal B is beautiful. The main Food Court has a good variety of food vendors and there some very reasonably priced places. The big must-see feature is the Las Vegas style fountain that rains down into a large circular catch basin. Images are projected onto the cascading water accompanied by music. From a distance it looks like a Hologram. It's very cool. You'd think with all the planning that went into designing this building that the bathroom paper towel dispensers wouldn't stream paper out of a tiny cubbyhole in the wall onto a puddle of water underneath where they come out. Absurd. Otherwise the sinks are cool and the bathrooms are attractive as is the entire terminal.

Great air port, SWA check in and baggage drop was fast and efficient. Lots of restaurants and restrooms throughout. At gate 48 SWA supported to passengers in sharing their singing talents while we waited.

An easy airport to navigate in a spacious, updated terminal. Easy to get to and lounge before a flight.

This airport wasn't what I had heard it was going to be. I don't understand why there's bad reviews out there. It is big, clean and easy to maneuver. There's plenty of signs. Seating is available and plentiful. There's places to charge your phone. They have coffee shops open early. There's train to the subway available and it's free. They have a designated area for ride share that's easy to find and labeled appropriately. The restrooms are clean. Check in was fast. The TSA line was fast even though it was busy. I didn't pick up baggage at baggage claim so I can't review that, but overall, I think the whole process is smooth

Last time we were here (Sept. 2022), we had no problems. It was 5 stars all the way with ample seating, clean & plentiful bathrooms, and good food choices. But today on Mother's Day, 5/14/23, we encountered problems with the bathrooms and bottle filling stations. The bathrooms were lacking in toilet paper & some towel dispensers were empty. The refill station for water was slow and barely working. Maybe all the women who take care of these things had the day of??!?

Very clean airport with easy bus commute to and from Queens. A lot less crowded than JFK or Newark. Prices of food and drinks is ridiculous of course but the plane tickets are very affordable if you are flying jetblue basic fare.

From one of the worst airports to one of the best. The new terminal B for JetBlue is amazing. Th shops and restaurants are great.

This is a very nice updated terminal. And trust me, I have seen my share of terminals. They have a few dining options including a Shake Shack, but could use some more. There is also a snack shop and a bar there. The seats here are very comfortable, they have free Wifi, and electrical outlets available. The gates and bathrooms are decorated with images of the city. I saw a bunch of cleaning crew roving, which I did not see at the other NYC airport. The terminal was very clean and trendy. What I found really cool was the little play are that is there. They have some small play planes for the kiddos to climb on, but the impressive part is the huge video wall that kids can fly video game planes on. I wanted to get my turn. The terminal also has some nice art exhibits throughout, that are definitely worth a peek. This terminal is state of the art and cutting edge. It did however, come at a cost. The terminal's renovation is the largest public-private partnership in US aviation history, valued at a whopping $5.1 billion. A little steep if you ask me, but well worth it. I was just flying through LaGuardia and my stop at terminal B was enjoyable and the new and improved terminal as worthy of being the model of what most terminals should aspire to be. I get it, I get it, every airport can afford a $5 billion dollar terminal upgrade.
