10/10 for food! we got the tots and the fried chicken tacos and they were both amazing. Tots were the perfect crisp and the tacos were loaded with so much flavor 8/10 for ambiance. There’s a lot still happening with downtown revitalization and not much else around. We had to park a few blocks away and walk (not a big deal). Seating is indoor (art inside is pretty cool) or out on the sidewalk and it didn’t feel like the AC was working inside which isn’t ideal for summer. Staff were friendly and they have seasonal/rotating menu items so I’ll definitely be back.

What a treat to eat brunch at this downtown gem! This small restaurant has big flavor. I respect their creative menu. 🙌🏾 We savored every bite of their food. I ordered the strawberry stuffed french toast, which was simple yet sophisticated—loved the basil. My brunch date ordered the ube french toast, y-u-m! We shared their popular tots at the table (a must). Above all, the service was spectacular. Grateful for this find, make your way over and enjoy for yourself!

Tried the Chilla Killa Burrito and it was absolutely delicious! The biscuits and gravy were excellent as well—comfort food done right. The customer service was on point, making the whole experience even better. Definitely recommend this place, and I’ll be coming back soon!

Nice hidden gem downtown Fresno. Everything was so good…. Best tater tots I have ever had since they are so crispy! So many options to choice from too and everything coming out of the kitchen looks great

I was really surprised when I found out this place has been open for over six years! I have a lot of catching up to do. The menu has so many things to try, it’s hard to decide what to eat. But it’s just down the street from my house, so I will be trying lots of different things on the menu. Today I tried the bone marrow stroganoff. They said they didn’t have the bone for the side, so they took $4 off my bill, which was nice. I didn’t mind at all because the food was so good. The first bite was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly. Now it’s been a few hours later and I just finished my leftovers. I can’t wait to go back—probably tomorrow! I even added back the $4 as a tip because it was that good. My partner got the butternut bacon risotto. It was one of the best risottos we’ve had in the U.S. The best risotto I’ve ever had was in Greece, but this one was a very close second. We also had their special water. It tasted great and wasn’t too sweet. The server was super nice and took really good care of us. The atmosphere was awesome, with good music and good food. This place is a hidden gem. At the end, we got cute stickers and I liked them so much I’m thinking of getting one as a tattoo! 😝 We also ordered the rice pudding for dessert before we left, and it was SO good. 🤤🤤🤤

Tried this place for the first time. Parking is available across the street in a lot. Entering was a bit tricky—not just for me, but for others as well. The door requires a click and push, which confused multiple guests. A sign would definitely help, as I saw many people struggle. Upon sitting down, I later realized there was a sign stating, "Do Not Seat Yourself." Unfortunately, no one acknowledged me for sitting nor told me for about four minutes until I noticed the sign and got up to wait near the counter making me wonder if this is why service was so bad. Service was slow—I wasn’t offered a drink for nearly five minutes, and my order wasn’t taken until about ten minutes after my drink arrived. Poor service always diminishes the dining experience for me, On the bright side, the decor was really cool! I ordered The half Patricia with a side of 2 bacon slices and it was delicious! Though the tater tots were overcooked and were hard to eat. The prices felt high for what was offered. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. Overall, the atmosphere was great, but the service and some of the food aspects left much to be desired. Total for meal, cup of water, and 1 bottled soda was $25.65

Google
Don't let the curb appeal, or lack of, discurage you from giving this place a chance. The Ube french toast was hands down the best French toast my wife and I ever ate. No exaggeration. And the fried chicken and biscuit sandwich with an over easy egg added to the top was perfect. 100 percent we will be going back each time we go to Fresno. There are all sorts of funky menue items we can't wait to try.

Google
Heard a lot of positive things about this diner so I decided to check it out. I ordered the street corn ravioli. It was subpar at best, definitely not worth the price and probably not farm fresh. The atmosphere was so so but I enjoyed the wall art. My waitress Sandra was very attentive. Overall, I’d say save your money.

Yelp
Got there Saturday morning at about 10:30 and had a choice of tables for 5. Nice start. Our group had two Big Dill sandwiches, a Falafel Smash Burger, and Mushroom Noods. I'm on a low sodium diet so avoided a lot on the menu, and went with the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast and had a fried egg on the side. Mine was fabulous. I didn't taste the others, but everyone loved their choices. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was a perfect funky. The bakery goods were delicious as well.

Yelp
I've lived in Fresno my whole life and have been meaning to try Libélula forever, but I finally was able to recently, and it was fantastic! We got two chicken sandwiches, and they were packed with meat and flavor. The romesco chicken sandwich was nice and fresh, and the pickle chicken sandwich was also flavorful. We also got the chili mac and cheese (not pictured), and that was SOOO good. Would come back for that alone. As for the service--it was great! I think our server's name was Kim. She was so sweet and helpful with the menu and the wait time. In general, she was just very friendly and inviting. The restaurant itself is small but cute and very decorated. I would come back!

Yelp
Blink and you miss it! Libelula is tucked away in downtown Fresno and offers unique, but delicious, flavor combos and a punk rock vibe that had me wanting to regrow the mohawk I had in my 20's. I ordered the Big Dill Chicken Sandwich and shared the Spicy Thai Mac and Cheese. The Big Dill sandwich was incredible! A massive thai spiced deep fried chicken breast topped fresh cucumbers, garlic dill tzatziki sauce, and pickles. Eat bite offered deep rich flavors, crunchy textures, and a briny flavor that had me eating faster and faster. The spicy thai mac and cheese was good, but I didn't get much thai flavor or spice. It was still pretty good as just a side of mac n cheese. Their menu is seasonal so double check their instagram for food updates. They offer both a large breakfast and lunch menu, but no dinner options since they close at 2pm or 3pm, depending on the day. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and you'll have to pay to park since there's only metered or paid lots in the area.

Yelp
Brunch on a weekday and it was as good as I remember. They still have the korma sauce and charge $4 as a side but ngl... I'm not even mad about it. It's savory, delicious and similar to an Indian curry. I ate it with tots. I also ordered the veg Benedict. After I ate my meal, I realized I may have gotten this same order the last time I was here. Muscle memory, perhaps? Amazing both times. Service was friendly, great and fast. Bathroom has downtown homeless vibes, but I'm not even bothered with how memorable the food is. Take my money!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is pretty amazing. The elevate, traditional dishes. I always ask what the staff what they recommend and what the seasonal items are. Super cute for content with the mix of art on the wall.

Yelp
I've done other reviews for Libelula and I cannot stress enough that this place should be packed 24/7. I have yet to have a meal that I don't like. It's a chill vibe type of place, excellent service and outstanding food. I love that they changed the menu depending on the season. Love the in house waters they make everyday. I tried three different menu items this day. The mushroom toast was incredible! Egg was cooked perfectly medium. The mushrooms were creamy and fresh. Now the bone marrow stroganoff was insane! So much flavor, extremely filling, could easily feed two people. I took mine home and ate the rest for dinner. Someone once asked what my favorite meal was, I couldn't tell them at the time, now I would say anything at Libelula specifically the pork belly polenta and bone marrow stroganoff.

Yelp
Excellent food! Chicken sandwich was delicious, and the onion rings! They had a bakery on the other side, place was cool.

Yelp
Five stars all around. This is one of our favorite places to go and we are so glad that they are doing so well. They support artists, downtown fresno, and local farmers. I always tell people it's like a nice metropolitan restaurant decided to relocate to Fresno. Very friendly staff. Can't go wrong with their burger of the week. They always have fresh ingredients. The ketchup and tots are out of this world. We are not, but if you are looking for vegan options they have it. Seriously try everything. They can be a bit pricey for some but we never feel bad about it as the taste really reflects the quality and care.

Yelp
We love going to this place to eat. The service is always impecable. The food is to die for. We always try something different and it never disappoints. The rice dish I had exploded with flavor, the veggies were crunchy and the egg added that extra touch. My husband also loved his breakfast sandwich. The atmosphere is laid back and it's a great place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal indoors or their outside patio.

Yelp
Although this place is a run down and not in the best part of Fresno, I highly recommend the food. As the other reviews said, this is definitely a hole in the wall place. The food was really good and full of flavor. Every item that each of my party ordered was not disappointing at all. The inside decor is a little quirky and unique, a lot of random retro looking designs and items on the wall and the tables. Service was great for my large party of 7 and they kept checking in on us throughout the time. Would recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Support a local business! I get to come here on my longer lunch day and the wait is worth it. It will be a while to get your food but just know there are people making it fresh off the skillet for you. It tastes like heaven . The tater tots are delicious. When the truffles pizza is in season it just melts into you. 10/10 come here !

Yelp
Excellent little breakfast establishment that lives up to the hype on reddit. I always go for breakfast no matter what and a wedding trip to Fresno was no exception. Needless to say, I'm glad reddit recommended this place for its unique dishes and great take on classics like biscuit and gravy. I highly recommend this establishment as well. Biscuit and Gravy 4 of 5 Great take on a classic, but was missing the black pepper. Get the sausage with it. Kimchi Fried Egg 4 of 5 It's missing the kimchi flavor, but still has a great taste. Make sure to eat it first or the wonton gets a little soggy towards the bottom. Very creative and worth a try. I would say it's a 4 out of five because the flavors could be a bit better and the bathroom was kinda a mess when we went. However, service and pricing was great and fast.

Yelp
This place is so good, you must try! They have Vegan/Vegetarian options. The forbidden black rice bowl is so good! The service was good, the waitress was really attentive and kind. It's very artsy inside, so many cool paintings.

Yelp
This is the second time I've been to Libelula, but the first was when they first opened. I went today with two work friends -- it's a nice place to get some fresh and interesting food downtown. When we went today at 11:39 it was lively but not overcrowded. Service was very friendly and thoughtful -- asking if we wanted ice, straws, extra dipping sauce for our tots etc. It's a casual cute place. We'd been in the office all morning so we chose to sit outside although it got a little hot because all tables were in the direct sun. A few umbrellas would be welcome. I chose the summer tomato grilled cheese. It had great flavor but here's what I wish I knew about it ahead of time -- I wish I knew it came open face and very soggy. I knew the ingredients of course, but I was honestly expecting smaller amounts of tomato, spinach and mushroom and for this to be a true grilled cheese that would hold together ("as a grilled cheese does") and would be simply picked up and eaten. This messy soggy sandwich (which required a knife and fork to navigate) had great flavor -- I want to emphasize it was very delicious and balanced and all the ingredients were fresh and high quality, so bravo to the person who invented the mix of ingredients -- but I wanted some form of a "true" grilled cheese. A sandwich that that holds together, and which you pick up and eat easily and without sloppiness (!) for a casual lunch with work friends: but instead it was a soggy mess and very difficult to eat, especially in front of coworkers while trying to converse. I really wish I'd ordered something else -- not because it didn't taste good -- it did taste good -- but because it wasn't what I was in the mood for: everyone knows what a grilled cheese sandwich is, and this soggy difficult-to-eat (even if very tasty) mess wasn't that. The tots were good and crispy and the homemade ketchup was as I remembered: I'd like a touch more salt but that's such an individual preference. I need more salt like I need a few additional points added to my blood pressure. I'll be back but I might be one of those annoying customers who asks questions of the waiter: "So is this a _true_ grilled cheese, the kind that you can pick up and eat?" "Ma'am it clearly says grilled cheese on the menu. What do you want me to say? Is this a trick?" "Yes noted - it says grilled cheese, but you see I have certain 'expectations' of a sandwich billed as a grilled cheese! Let me tell you all about it..." On second thought maybe next time I'll just order a salad.

Yelp
Food was soo good, something I hadn't tasted before. Ambiance was a bit questionable. Restroom conditions weren't it. Definitely artsy and trendy for Fresno. I recommend the Thai Mac and cheese. The bulgogi tacos were the tables favorite! Our ordered from the pic fed 3 of us.

Yelp
The good, the variety of menu options...it was unique and that was cool. The waitress was great, very kind and sweet. The not-so-good...the food was mid. I got the eggs Benedict and the egg was too raw - the white wasn't fully cooked. I don't have this experience with poached eggs before. The chicken sandwich - chicken was over cooked...the outside breeding was dark like they almost burnt it. The restroom was gross. The inside had a funky smell...overall it was okay. I prob wouldn't come back.

Yelp
When people say hole in the wall, I'm only gonna think about this place. The outside, well you won't think that, but once you're inside, your entire perspective changes. From my boyfriend's words: it looks like a comic book, or like the inside of weird kids bedroom The paintings are wacky, cool, and just quirky. If you're an indie hippie weirdo alternative kind of person, this is your spot. If you want to pretend like you are, this is your spot. ‍ The food was absolutely delicious. It came pretty quickly, since they weren't that busy on a Friday morning. Boyfriend said that his grilled chicken was the juicy he's ever had, and he kept moaning as he took bites. However, the noodles were the highlight of the dish, as they were packed his flavor, and the mushrooms were juicy, too. We didn't even finish our food, so we could eat it later. Bathroom is outside lol make sure you lock it. I couldn't figure it out, so I just left it unlocked. Anyways, epic spot. If you're staying in Fresno for a little bit, watch out for the nightcrawlers.

Yelp
I enjoy taking friends and family to this little gem, when they come to town. It's really special. Get over the location. It's next to the Crest Historic Theater (which is showing old movies on the weekends btw). There's rich history and architecture in downtown Fresno....Libelula is like a little funky, diner you'd find in the bay. Ok, so the menu is always filled with a variety of flavor fusions that will keep you coming back. Some of their signature items stay on the menu, but it does change based on what is available and in season. Everything is fresh and made with local ingredients. I'm kinda a simple gal, and I usually order the mushroom toast or the siracha maple, chicken sand and homemade tots. If you're lucky, they have some 'Big A$$' cinnamon rolls available! Make sure you grab one for later...enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
Good place for a bite! Located in downtown Fresno, you'll find this little gem. Be wary, there is only street parking, so if it's busy, it might be difficult to find a spot close by! The inside is nicely decorated and has a cool vibe. Service is fairly fast and the servers are nice. I love that this place uses local and fresh ingredients! They have so many options when it comes to their food, it's so hard to pick! I've been here on multiple occasions and have enjoyed my food. 〰 Curried Fried Chicken Tacos (5/5): These are scrumptious. The chicken was fried well and the curry sauce is DELISH. I got these to-go and they still held up and tasted great. 〰 Forbidden Breakfast Fried Rice (3/5): This was just ok IMO! I thought it was a tad too salty for my liking but the presentation was cool. 〰 Side of tater tots (5/5): I meaaaaan you can't go wrong with tots. They crisp them up so well and they're so fun to eat. Bonus points for their house made ketchup. Their ketchup is so yummy! I love that they use such fresh ingredients! This is a good place for a bite to eat if you're in the area.
google avatar

Cindy Y A.

Yelp
Amazing menu, even if tater tots appear to be the anchoring item, flavors are unique, excellent presentation and location was super convenient off the freeway! I loved the eclectic vibe and decor with high ceilings since it seems like it's a reclaimed portion of old theater. We tried Thai Mac, the slider collection, maple chicken

Yelp
Fast service, great food! Luv the tator Tots with Homemade Catsup And check out the bakery next door!

Yelp
Again, another Jem found utilizing Yelp. On adventure out of our area we took to recommendation for a good breakfast... and it was a sweet surprise. Restaurant small yet cozy with eclectic design. We arrived right before it became very busy. My husband enjoyed this soy burrito and requested we return again soon. The squash toast sounded delicious and it was. I did noticed there wasn't any mint as it was on the menu as ingredients. I asked about it and they said they were out. Mint is one my favorite herbs so I was looking forward to it. I was disappointed I missed out , but it was still very good. We will definitely return.

Yelp
I've heard really great reviews about this place and my coworkers really hyped it up. I appreciate that this is a local restaurant with a chef who is passionate about his food. I can appreciate the love that goes into cooking and the passion of a chef. However, I did not like the dish I ordered. I got the maple siracha fried chicken sandwich. The sandwich comes with tator tots and a spicy ketchup dip? I couldn't place my tongue on what exactly was served with my tots but it didn't taste like ketchup which really threw me off and I didn't like the taste of it. The chicken was fried to perfection and super crispy. It could have been juicier but overall, it was good. The kimchi that came in the sandwich was not good and I didn't not like the taste of it. It was not the type of kimchi I'm used to. I was expecting the fermented, Korean kimchi. His version of kimchi tasted more like a coleslaw tossed in some chili sauce. If it didn't come with the kimchi, I think I would have enjoyed the sandwich more. The service was alright. We sat outside so the server did not check up on us as much as usual. I ordered a Mexican coke and it wasn't ice cold. I usually prefer an ice cold Mexican coke. Overall, I was underwhelmed with this place but I am willing to try it again and order other food items since it has such great reviews.

Yelp
Love coming here. Their food is so unique. They have a different specialty every week.

Yelp
We ordered pickup as we wanted to watch the Fresno State game but inside was so cute ! I ordered the spicy Thai Mac and cheese and my husband ordered the Chilla Killa burrito both of which are so different and so good! The Spicy Thai Mac was unapologetically spicy which I love and could never even try to recreate. The burrito was huge for one person and hit all the cravings. Will be back to try other menu items and eat there
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered the eggs Benedict. It was so delicious and savory. The atmosphere is fun. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Dejanae A.

Yelp
My colleague and I had heard good things about this place and were a little let down so my review may be based on it being overhyped. We enjoyed our meal and the unique vibe of the restaurant but I probably wouldn't return. Simply because it isn't my vibe and the food is so abstract that you either love it or you don't. Service was good, food was good. Check it out if you're curious and something catches your eye on the menu!

Yelp
Went here for the first time today after hearing about this place from a friend. We ordered the Big A** Breakfast Burrito, Carolina BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, Ube French toast and the weekly special, a French Onion Burger to go. The burrito was big as advertised and very delicious ask for the habanero salsa if you like it spicy. The pulled pork was good but I do wish it would've had more sauce to it, I also would've preferred the meat to be shredded, it was cubed. Ube French toast was good but definitely need to add more sweeten condensed milk to it if you prefer it to be sweeter, just ask for more and they will give it to you. French onion burger was very flavorful and I would get that again if I see it on the menu, I only tried it cold off my friend lol overall it's a cute little spot with pretty good food. My only comment on service is I wish the water would've been brought out to us while looking over the menu. Other than that everything was great and I can see myself going back.
google avatar

Jaycee T.

Yelp
This is my second time here and I had to get their big ass burrito again. I would say they have one of the best breakfast burritos, super flavorful and the sauce that comes with it is delicious. Pro tip, ask for their habanero salsa to go with the burrito. When coming here I want to try something new every time, this time we ordered the Ube French toast which is great but we had to ask for extra condensed milk for the right amount of sweetness. We also got their pulled pork burger which has a runny egg and other things on it. The sauce on the burger was good but needed a little more, the pork itself wasn't your typical pulled pork it was more like tender pork chunks (carnitas style). The ambiance is nice, filled with pictures to look at and you get kinda lost in the history of the photos. Like punk/rock alternative type of vibe. They have doors that are open to where you can see the chef cooking while you're at your table. As for service, the waitress is really friendly and nice. I would say it gets packed but manageable for 1 person to handle. Upon sitting down we weren't served right away which was fine since we needed extra time to look over the menu. We still didn't get our waters we asked for while still figuring out what to order but it's ok. The cups were a little stained I'm assuming from the tea that's been served in it. Other than that I would say this place is pretty good, menu is very descriptive with their ingredients. It does get pack during lunch! So try coming before 12:30pm.

Yelp
Wow. I wasn't sure what to expect from Libelula. Almost everything is made from scratch and it has amazing flavor. Restaurants like Libelula are becoming hard to find with their unique dishes, great flavor and fun experience. This is a secret little place you have to try in Fresno California
google avatar

Dave C.

Yelp
I was looking for a local place to eat while exchanging some tickets at Chukchansi Park nearby and I found Libelula on this app. I was intrigued by the menu and decided to give it a try. I invited a friend because lunch is always better with a friend. He ordered the bone marrow beef stroganoff and I ordered the grinder sandwich. My friend said the stroganoff was fantastic and also liked his Thai tea he got. My grinder sandwich was good but missing something in my opinion. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. The tater tots were super crispy and stayed crispy all the way through lunch. My friend and I had a hard time choosing what to get because so many things on the menu sounded awesome. The only downside for me was that it was a bit loud and echoing inside to have and easy conversation with someone. That is not a knock on the establishment at all. It is definitely a fun vibe but I did have a hard time hearing my friend. There is outdoor seating that would have solved that problem but it was a triple digit day the day we went so I chose not to eat outside. 5 stars, can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

Harvey V.

Yelp
The food was ok not worth the 4 stars it has it. The inside was giving weird vibes the music that they were playing was cutting out also the names of some of there foods had bad words in it and the bakery in side was named a bad word
google avatar

Karina M.

Yelp
I'd like to start this review by saying the service in here was amazing and the waitress was so kind and attentive! I am giving this place 3 starts because while the ambience and service was so nice the food was just disappointing. It was extremely salty.... The Thai Mac and cheese was nice but somehow lacking in actual flavor, the tater tots were decent but I really disliked that homemade ketchup that was served, the sesame egg noodles were eatable but not necessarily enjoyable, and the burrito was just a mess. Typically I'd say I'm a pretty easy person to please but unfortunately today it's a whole other story. I'd like to come again and maybe try different things because I love to support local eateries. Maybe next time?

Yelp
As a new resident of Fresno, this was a wonderful introduction to some of the gems around town. Super cute spot! I ordered the summer tomato grilled cheese in hopes of something easy to enjoy and it was just that and more. Our server Kim was super friendly and answered all my questions fully. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I am really conflicted on this. I want to encourage your patronage, but I really don't want to stand in line to get in. Libeluba is tiny and it's in the part of downtown that I probably wouldn't visit on a dare. But... The menu is eclectic. The food is amazing. The prices are right. The portions are huge. Everything is locally grown farm to table. Please do notdrive by, take a look and decide to move on. This place is definitely a gem of Fresno! Please patronize and supportLibelula, but please leave a table for me, OK?

Yelp
My family and I stumbled across this interesting restaurant on Yelp while driving through Fresno. We wanted to stop by for a nice lunch/ brunch on a Saturday at 1pm, and this place seemed to have a great range of options on their menu. Upon arriving, we parked on First street in a metered spot right around the corner from the restaurant. Walking up to the restaurant we noticed Salty Bitch Bakery next door and the restaurant with several tables and chairs right on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. It was a gloomy day, so we decided to sit inside. The inside was decorated with many unique pieces of art. They ranged from colorful to a little creepy. The dining area was small, with really high ceilings. It looked clean and the tables and chairs were made from wood, making the place feel casual. The food was tasty!! They had a large range of food on their menu. All were delicious, definitely well seasoned, and had their own untraditional flair. The only choice that wasn't favored was the butternut squash salad, the dressing was spicy. The service was attentive.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place. It's always busy when I drive by it. I took my sister for lunch. She is vegetarian so I knew she would be the perfect person to take with me. She had their Benedict which she enjoyed. I ordered their bbq bacon burger. Great flavor. It was huge and fell apart at first bite. I enjoy that they are constantly changing the menu when the seasons change. Always gives you something new to try.

Yelp
Don't let the exterior fool you. I almost chose the skip option. But this hole in the wall earned its ratings for a reason. First off - any place that has a Dawn of the Dead poster on the wall is good in my book. Second - the music catapulted me back to my 80s punk phase. And Third the menu was a neat mix of vegetarian friendly and meatatarian fusion. so I got veggie benedict and it was mushrooms, tomato, spinach, hollendais, havarti, eggs, and muffin - but the muffin was interestingly sweet - and the hollendais had an interesting mustardy flavor.  It all worked well together but was odd. If you're looking for a cool place to try check this one out. :)

Yelp
Came on a Sunday for brunch. Parking is in the parking lot across the street. The restaurant has 2 doors next to each other other, most customers weren't sure which door to enter which was funny to watch. Restaurant building is pretty old, it was hot 100 degree F, AC was not great, ceiling was high and no fan or ac to help so recommend coming at night or NOT in summer. The place was unique with color and culture: day of the Dead, dragon flys, random decor which gave it character. Service was normal, one server/host and food came out at a normal pace. All of the food was delicious and unique. Never had Thai curry in a tator tot sauce, good kick with spice with the egg. Tots were cooked just right, crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Next time I prefer the sauce on the side. Mac n cheese had habanero and truffle, it was ok. Ube French toast was interesting with coconut shreds and shaved nuts. Was not dry or over cooked. Just right. I'm not a coconut person so it'll be good for u if u like that. I did not get to taste to the burger or tacos but let's just say we finish it so it was that good. Lost a star for no ventilation in the restaurant to really enjoy the mesl and experience.

Yelp
The good: Creative menu, well prepared and tasty food. Pleasant and attentive service. The Meh: Seriously overpriced can sodas, no free parking, building could use some handyman's love.

Yelp
So glad to find this eclectic gem! Seems like it's literally a hole in the wall. With local artists on display it's quite the quaint little place. Several different gluten free options either naturally gf or can easily be made gf. Server was helpful and kind. I was excited when she said "Excellent choose" to my selection of the bulgogi mushroom tacos. And they did not disappoint. Everyone else enjoyed their meal too. Our table ordered Big A$$ Burrito, Chicken Cesear burrito, Benedict with pork and the Bulgogi mushroom tacos. Only the tacos were gluten free but I've attached a highlighted menu of the gf options. It was a scorcher outside and a bit warm inside but worth the stop. Would gladly stop again.

Yelp
Location- In downtown, next to The Crest Theater. I live in Tower so I love that this place is close by my house. It has been on my bookmarks for awhile and I really want to try the brunch here. Atmosphere- Quaint, mom and pop type, quirky which matches the owners' personalities, random art pieces, a little cold during the winter, icecream parlor chairs, retro style tables and booths. Definitely different from the industrial and farmhouse architecture Service- Great! Food- I got their special meatloaf burger which comes with tater tots and housemade ketchup. I finished every bite. I want to try their cinnamon rolls. The bread was so good. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the meatloaf burger is literally what you think it is, a delicious meatloaf as a burger. Ketchup is house made. I would like to return to try brunch and their cinnamon rolls. Price- Most of the items were under $20, not cheap, but not crazy expensive. You get what you pay for.

Yelp
For drinks we ordered the non alcoholic specialty drink which I believe was a strawberry spritz and I liked it because it was not too sweet and very refreshing! For brunch we had the veggie polenta and the eggs Benedict with pork. The veggie polenta was easily the highlight of our visit as the polenta was flavorful and went well with the vegetables on the side. The pork in the eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and the eggs were poached to my liking as well. Service was great even though it was busy that day and we were able to get some to go boxes as well for whatever we didn't finish. I loved the decorations nd set up of the whole place! It was very retro and there was so much artwork on the walls to look at. There's also a bakery right next door too to check out after eating here! Would definitely go again to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
Have been wanting to come here for years, finally made it over and so happy I did. Such a unique unique vibe. Decor is quirky & cute, I found myself just scanning the interior over and over. Way fun! Tables/chairs are nothing special but they don't even need to be. Food was great, I did the siracha maple chicken sandwich-cam sworn tots, such a nice surprise! Sandwich was so yum, this was on their autumn menu which I believe switches up seasonally, so glad I was able to give it a try. Service was amazing, our pink haired waitress was on it, so friendly and helpful! Would recommend to anyone in Fresno or visiting if you're in the mood for something different! ***one thing to keep in mind, they close pretty early, 7 pm & this was on a Friday night. Saint Joaquin is down the street if you're looking to still chill, great spot too!

Yelp
I like the place I like the vibe I like what it is about but....I do admit I do not fully understand the inner workings and what the process of pricing dishes is but I felt I didn't fully get the wow factor or satisfaction the price that I paid and was looking for I hope this is constructive criticism.... I ordered the bone marrow stroganoff which was good but very heavy and rich and the most disappointing part of it it didn't come with the cut bone and marrow which was advertised it kind of ruined it ...actually it really ruined it for me ..if it was not available then 86 it from the menu..hope the best for you but probably not coming back or recommending

Yelp
Loved this gem! Great food and service. Loved the menu options and the cheeseburger and tots were perfect!
