Liberation Foods catered our 25th wedding Anniversary party of about 45 people. Everything from the first contact to the end was stellar. The team communicated well, it was exactly what we asked for and made for a beautiful and stress free party! The servers, chef and bartender were wonderful and expertly tended to our guests. We can’t thank the team at Liberation Foods enough!

We hired Liberation Foods for our wedding and absolutely loved working with them! Dennis was super helpful from the beginning answering every question we had. We did our tasting with Sonia and Wali, and then Wali worked our wedding and they were both INCREDIBLE! The professionalism, the food, everything about it was a great experience. The food they made was absolutely delicious! Our guests were raving about it and I think almost everyone went back for seconds! We can't recommend them enough! Thank you Wali, Sonia and Dennis for helping making our wedding dreams come true.

A wholehearted THANK YOU to Dennis and his Liberation Foods team for catering our wedding reception this past SUN 10/12 Noon at the Morgan Hill Community and Culture Center! The four team members (chef and staff) were responsive and attentive to our needs. Liberation Foods arrived right on time before the 11am setup time. Food was great and as ordered. Clean-up was great. No issues from Morgan Hill CCC. We will definitely recommend Liberation Foods to our friends! Thank You!

We hired Liberation Foods for our wedding, and they were absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish, they were so easy to work with—communication was great and everything ran smoothly. Our day-of coordinator even mentioned how professional and cooperative they were. And the food—wow! All our guests couldn’t stop raving about the brisket, chicken, and sides (but especially the brisket!). Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. I later found out that their team even stayed later than scheduled to serve coffee and tea, which really shows their dedication and kindness. Liberation Foods went above and beyond in every way. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food and service. I truly hope to work with them again in the future!

We used Liberation Foods to cater my daughter’s engagement party (60 guests, outdoor appetizers and cocktails), and they were great. The staff was experienced, professional, and incredibly organized. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions were just right. Everything ran seamlessly — they were immaculate in their setup and cleanup, and also such a pleasure to work with. Our guests raved about the food and service. I couldn’t recommend Liberation Foods more highly for anyone looking for top-notch catering!

I contacted Liberation Foods Catering after reading many positive reviews on "Nextdoor". I needed to throw a "Celebration of Life" gathering following the death of my sister. I filled out the questionaire on their website and they got back to me with an amazing menu designed for our celebration. They showed up on time and brought everything needed. The food was absolutely delicious, the servers were neatly dressed and friendly and helpful. 4 hours later they were packed up, leftovers in my fridge and kitchen was so clean, you would have never known they were there. I highly recommend Liberation Foods and will hire them again when needed.

Overall, the experience was good but not exceptional. The appetizers were definitely the highlight, flavorful and nicely presented, while the main dish could have been served hotter. I only tried the fish, so I can’t comment on the meat options. The lunch was decent, though the bread wasn’t great in my opinion. The lunch servers were very friendly, just not the quickest, while dinner service was outstanding, attentive, warm, and perfectly timed.

Tasty food and friendly staff! Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my 90-person wedding in May 2025. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill. Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!

If you're in search of an outstanding full-service caterer, look no further than Liberation Foods. Not only did they provide delicious, mouthwatering food, but their service was top-notch--delivering everything at a reasonable price! From the start, Dennis went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, working with us to fully customize a wedding menu that was exactly what we envisioned. We went with passed hors d'oeuvres, a buffet-style meal, and a dessert bar, and let me tell you--every single guest raved about the food. But the highlight for me was the hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies that were part of the dessert bar. It was such a personal touch, and my guests were absolutely floored by them! Beyond the food, Dennis and his team were professional, efficient, and so incredibly clean. They left the kitchen spotless, and their quiet, seamless service allowed us to enjoy our big day without any interruptions. For the price point, we got everything we could have wanted--from servers and bartenders to linens, dishware, and even ice. They truly thought of everything. If you want top-tier food and service at a price that won't break the bank, I can't recommend Liberation Foods enough. I'll definitely be hiring them for any future events!

Liberation foods prepared the food for my mothers 90th birthday celebration for 50 people. We asked for the food to be dropped off at our venue so that we could serve it buffet style. There was more than enough food and the food was excellent! In addition to appetizers we ordered the salmon, tri-tip, rice, salad, and roasted vegetables. I would not hesitate to hire them again for good quality food.

I would not contract with this caterer. He is in denial and does not stand by his product. At the wedding I attended the risotto was like glue, overcooked and gummy. The salmon was served in a sauce but still had it's skin on so the skin was rubbery/not crisp. Don't trust that the food served at the tasting will be anything like what you will get at the event. Their website only publishes the 5 star comments, never trust a business that controls their own comment page.

Our Day of Coordinator recommended Liberation Foods because she knew we were on a budget and were looking for affordable, quality food, and both things were absolutely true, so I am glad that I stuck with them. I got quotes from so many vendors and Liberation Foods was by far the most affordable quote for the amount and quality of food offered (seemed to be French style cooking). The tasting we had with chef Dennis was great - all the appetizers, the steak and salmon, everything had was so tasty and presented well, and chef Dennis and the sous chefs and waitstaff who were present were such nice, good people, and they've been with him a long time, which says a lot. They have a rental company they work with and they brought all the linens, plates/flatware/glassware, so that was convenient and on the more affordable side too, so that was good. I was a little concerned that they were located so far away from my venue, but they were on time and it was not a problem after all. The main challenge was with communication. Dennis is the contact person and while he is a really nice guy, was inconsistent in how quickly he would return emails and/or answers to questions would be incomplete, needing multiple further clarifications. He was limited in his options for vegan mains, though he had an open attitude for the vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free item negotiations. If you are considering having Liberation Foods cater your event, I would recommend phone calls over emails (though emails are valuable to refer back to as a record for what was said...) and would just be prepared to be patient and persistent if you have specific questions you need answered. Overall, I wouldn't choose a different caterer because they really came through with good food that everyone enjoyed at a great price point, and with really great servers on the day of the wedding - I was so glad and grateful that it all worked out!
