Not only did they provide delicious, mouthwatering food, but their service was top-notch—delivering everything at a reasonable price! From the start, Dennis went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, working with us to fully customize a wedding menu that was exactly what we envisioned. We went with passed hors d'oeuvres, a buffet-style meal, and a dessert bar, and let me tell you—every single guest raved about the food. But the highlight for me was the hot, fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies that were part of the dessert bar. It was such a personal touch, and my guests were absolutely floored by them! Beyond the food, Dennis and his team were professional, efficient, and so incredibly clean. They left the kitchen spotless, and their quiet, seamless service allowed us to enjoy our big day without any interruptions. For the price point, we got everything we could have wanted—from servers and bartenders to linens, dishware, and even ice. They truly thought of everything. If you want top-tier food and service at a price that won’t break the bank, I can’t recommend Liberation Foods enough. I’ll definitely be hiring them for any future events!

Tasty food and friendly staff! Booked Liberation Foods to cater the appetizers and buffet-style meal for my 90-person wedding in May 2025. Conducted a tasting prior to booking which was helpful to identify menu items. Also liked that tasting fee was credited to overall bill. Due to venue constraints, opted to have food dropped off the day of the event in lieu of prepared onsite. When there was a mix-up with one of the sides, catering staff quickly returned back to the venue with the correct item. Would definitely recommend for your catering needs and I will definitely book with them in the future!

Liberation Foods did our back yard 'Barbie-Q" party for our grown grand daughters. Everyone thought the food was great and as hostess I appreciated the three crew members who took care of all the details and left the place immaculate. Highly recommend!

We live on the Peninsula and had a flawless experience with Liberation Foods’ meal delivery service. Ordering online was a breeze, and delivery went without a hitch. The food was fantastic: flavorful, plentiful, and still succulent days later. Dennis, the owner, was super responsive from the get-go, and a pleasure to interact with throughout.

Dennis and the Liberation Foods team were excellent. Communication with Dennis was easy and he is always open to your suggestions. The food Dennis and the team created was excellent. We had all good reviews from everyone at the wedding! We had a salmon with miso butter that was super tasty, a chicken adobo (which was our suggestion), and another beef dish. The apps was totally demolished by our guests and the salad and sides (hello the bread service was excellent!) were customized for what we wanted: fusion of Greek and Filipino. Dennis and the team make beautiful food! Which was great for us foodies.

I had a fantastic experience with Dennis and the team from Liberation Foods. They catered my 120 person wedding and I could not have been happier with the food and the service that Dennis and his team provided. I would 100% recommend them and will personally use them again in the future. Dennis was highly communicative and extremely reliable. He responded to my emails and questions quickly which really stood out from many of the other vendors I was working with on the wedding who were much less responsive. The food was delicious, and I got a lot of comments from my guests (many of whom are foodies) on just how good the food was. The highlights of the menu were the butternut squash ravioli (possibly one of the top 10 dishes I have ever eaten), the prime rib carving station, the garlic mashed potatoes, and all the passed appetizers (we had mini wellingtons, short rib crostinis, and stuffed mushrooms). Dennis' food is full of flavor and really well presented. Even the simple garden salad had a tasty twist, with pickled onions and a vibrant vinaigrette. My only regrets were 1) the horseradish accompanying the prime rib was much too strong, and 2) the stuffed chicken breast came out a bit dry - hard to do that type of a dish at such high volume. But overall we loved everything, the service was great, and I felt it was very reasonably priced compared to other caterers that I had looked at.

Dennis and the Liberation Foods team were so grounding, competent, and kind throughout our whole wedding process, and the food was amazing. We appreciated Dennis's extensive pre-designed menu - it made the tasting and selection process for our wedding dinner very easy. He's a great chef and has brought together wonderful people to support the operation. Would recommend!

Liberation foods prepared the food for my mothers 90th birthday celebration for 50 people. We asked for the food to be dropped off at our venue so that we could serve it buffet style. There was more than enough food and the food was excellent! In addition to appetizers we ordered the salmon, tri-tip, rice, salad, and roasted vegetables. I would not hesitate to hire them again for good quality food.

I would not contract with this caterer. He is in denial and does not stand by his product. At the wedding I attended the risotto was like glue, overcooked and gummy. The salmon was served in a sauce but still had it's skin on so the skin was rubbery/not crisp. Don't trust that the food served at the tasting will be anything like what you will get at the event. Their website only publishes the 5 star comments, never trust a business that controls their own comment page.

Our Day of Coordinator recommended Liberation Foods because she knew we were on a budget and were looking for affordable, quality food, and both things were absolutely true, so I am glad that I stuck with them. I got quotes from so many vendors and Liberation Foods was by far the most affordable quote for the amount and quality of food offered (seemed to be French style cooking). The tasting we had with chef Dennis was great - all the appetizers, the steak and salmon, everything had was so tasty and presented well, and chef Dennis and the sous chefs and waitstaff who were present were such nice, good people, and they've been with him a long time, which says a lot. They have a rental company they work with and they brought all the linens, plates/flatware/glassware, so that was convenient and on the more affordable side too, so that was good. I was a little concerned that they were located so far away from my venue, but they were on time and it was not a problem after all. The main challenge was with communication. Dennis is the contact person and while he is a really nice guy, was inconsistent in how quickly he would return emails and/or answers to questions would be incomplete, needing multiple further clarifications. He was limited in his options for vegan mains, though he had an open attitude for the vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free item negotiations. If you are considering having Liberation Foods cater your event, I would recommend phone calls over emails (though emails are valuable to refer back to as a record for what was said...) and would just be prepared to be patient and persistent if you have specific questions you need answered. Overall, I wouldn't choose a different caterer because they really came through with good food that everyone enjoyed at a great price point, and with really great servers on the day of the wedding - I was so glad and grateful that it all worked out!
