The 22 Best Restaurants Near Penn Station - New York - The Infatuation

"It’s so packed at this bagel spot on 35th that there’s someone who’s dedicated to managing the ever-present line like a traffic cop. The bagels here are nice and crispy on the outside and pleasantly chewy on the inside, and they have a ton of interesting cream cheese flavors. Oreo might sound gimmicky, but if you like sweet cream cheese, you’ll love it. For a unique savory option, go for a jalapeño everything bagel with chipotle cream cheese." - bryan kim, will hartman, willa moore, neha talreja, molly fitzpatrick

The 20 Best Bagels In New York City, Ranked

"At the Liberty Bagels location near Penn Station, there’s a bouncer at the door to manage the line, even on weekday mornings. It’s always packed, so plan to take your food to go. Some of the options, like the birthday cake cream cheese, might seem gimmicky, but the big, glossy bagels are pleasantly chewy and packed with flavor. For a spicy, savory option, try the jalapeño everything with chipotle cream cheese. Or, if you’d rather have dessert, go for the Oreo cream cheese. It’s good on just about anything." - bryan kim, will hartman, willa moore, neha talreja, molly fitzpatrick, sonal shah

Liberty Bagels Midtown - Review - Midtown - New York - The Infatuation

"At the Liberty Bagels near Penn Station, there’s a bouncer at the door to manage the line, even on weekday mornings. It’s also always packed, so plan to take your food to go. While the options might seem gimmicky at first (this is, after all, a place that proudly advertises options like rainbow bagels and birthday cake cream cheese), we love the off-the-wall flavors here. The bagels are pleasantly chewy and packed with flavor, and we’ve yet to try a cream cheese option we don’t love. For a spicy, savory option, we love the jalapeño everything bagel with chipotle cream cheese. If you have a sweet tooth, you’re going to love the Oreo cream cheese. It’s good on just about anything. photo credit: Emily Schindler" - Carina Finn

Google
If you're looking for NY bagels, you won't be disappointed by this place. It's very popular and there's always a line, but the service is fast, and efficient. Pro tip: make sure you know your order before approaching the counter. Lots of different bagels, handmade cream cheese, and tofu creams. The coffee is very decent. People come here mostly for the bagels and coffee, but they also offer sandwiches and other deli items.

Google
They absolutely deserves all the awards and good reviews they have. These are one of the best bagels I’ve ever had. I was impressed by the variety of sweet cream cheese options. We tried the Peanut Butter Nutella cream cheese, and it was so delicious. We also had a classic bagel with lox and it was good as well. I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in NYC.

Google
Tasty bagels in a very fast pace environment. The service was very friendly and good but there isn’t a lot of seating. The bagels are good but not great, and could use a bit more flavour. The cream cheese smears on the other hand were delicious.

Google
It was quite a long wait for a bagel but it was quite tasty! Huge selection of cream cheeses, bagels and bagel sandwiches. Do not expect to find seating when busy, I would prepare to take the bagel to go. Definitely a top tier NYC bagel spot, would absolutely come again

Google
Liberty Bagels delivers on fresh, delicious bagels with plenty of flavor options to choose from. The texture is spot-on, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s definitely a solid bagel spot, but if I had to pick just one in NYC, Apollo would take the crown for me. Still, Liberty is worth a visit, especially if you’re in the area.

Google
New York is a city of many things. But above all, it is a city of bagels. 🥯 The Jews who arrived from Poland at the turn of the last century brought the bagel 🥯 with them, which has become an American icon and a symbol of New York. With so many bagel 🥯 places, the ultimate test has to be the basic, plain bagel 🥯 with cream cheese. There is many kinds of bagels 🥯 in liberty 🗽 and rich cream cheese flavors. So the verdict is - the bagel 🥯 is Fresh, warm, and perfectly done , cream cheese was generous, staff is friendly and welcoming, watching the all operation , it looks like a very efficient bagel 🥯 factory 🏭 that knows and proud to do what they do Best.

Google
Highly recommend tourists to come here! Don’t miss out on the rainbow bagels. Classic New York experience. The bagels were so tasty. I got a rainbow bagel with Bacon, Egg & Cheese bcs I’m not a fan of cream cheese, but it was still yummy. I got it and went to central park. It was still chewy and warm after 20 minutes. The experience was great. There was no line when i went, and the staff was friendly and efficient.

Google
Super cool bagel shop with a wide variety of bagels and cream cheeses, as well as bagel sandwich options. It's pretty small and cozy, but they keep things running fairly smoothly. The bagels are large, and the cream cheese is generous. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Probably the best bagel I ever ate. This place is amazing. No need to toast these bagels as they are super fresh. Great selection. Liberty has a wide variety of cream cheeses and bagel sandwiches. Drinks are in the cooler, you make your selection and pay with your order at the register. Liberty Bagel is the home of the rainbow and Liberty bagels. Plan for a line out the door (it moves quickly). They have a person with a tablet taking orders prior to getting to the register. Your order is ready when you pay. They manage crowd control well. The dining area is small with limited seating. We saw many people taking their orders to go and eating their bagels on benches in Central Park. We got lucky and got a table for two. Finally, these bagels are large and can be shared or used as a second meal. If you live in NYC, or just visiting, put this place on your list of one of the city's best hot spots.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday around 11. There was a line out the door and someone directing how many people could enter. The whole process was faster than expected however the place gets very crowded when waiting for your order. And not much place to stand and eat however not sure what they could do about it. Service was nice and quick though! The food was really tasty! We ordered a rainbow bagel with egg, bacon and cheese and an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese. There was a large variety of cream cheese available and bagels. We both enjoyed them and is close to Penn Station which was nice. The rainbow bagel didn't taste rainbow, just like a plain bagel but was super yummy and I enjoyed it because it was rainbow! Also got a corn muffin which was very moist. I think it I would enjoy it be a little drier but that might be a personal taste. 3.5/5

Yelp
Checked out Liberty Bagels for breakfast since I was in midtown. There's other locations around the city. Service is really quick even when crowded. You go to the cashier to order. They take your name and wait for the order. It was tough to choose amongst the varieties, but I decided on the everything bagel with bacon scallion spread. There was not a long wait for my order. I took it away to eat since there wasn't space to eat inside because people were ordering and waiting on their food. The bagel is soft, fresh and hot. They are very generous on the spread. The cream cheese was flavorful as I was able to taste both the scallion and bacon throughout. So many different combinations to mix and match. Hope to be back one day to try more!

Yelp
I have never seen such a large variety of bagels and sweet & savoury cream cheeses/spreads, my gosh! They also make bomb looking breakfast and lunch bagels. The bagels are your quintissential NY bagel. Chewy, fresh, and amazing. They PACK your bagel with cream cheese too. We opted for the Liberty Bagel with Strawberry cream cheese. We inhaled that bagel - it was pure crack. They have a small amount of seating if you want to sit at a counter and est your bagels. Polite and efficient service.

Yelp
One of the best bagel spots in this neck of the woods, just about the best I've had in a long time too. Love working nearby and getting my morning fix. All the bagels, all the cream cheese, quick service considering the lines can get insane. I never seem to have a problem, short waits and they kinda work in your favor trying to decide between all the custom combos you could possible make!
google avatar

Elsa G.

Yelp
Did I come here just for the rainbow bagel? Yes I did. I am a sucker for anything that goes viral. And I truly appreciate the creativity in creating such a vibrant and beautiful looking bagel. The bagel itself was soft with the perfect chew. I love their different flavors of cream cheese which are piled high in a glass display case. I of course had to get the birthday cake cream cheese which paired perfectly with the rainbow bagel. The cream cheese really did taste like birthday cake. What a treat! Certainly would come back again.

Yelp
Came in Sunday morning and though it was busy, the line moved pretty quick. I think we ended up waiting 10-15 minutes. Got the rainbow bagel with confetti cream cheese, didn't expect much since the aesthetic was the main reason for the order but it ended up being pretty good. Generous shmear, decent price. Great place to come, at the very least you can get a pretty picture lol.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped by for breakfast before heading home. We both ordered sandwiches and ordered bagels to-go. We ordered 1/2 dozen blueberry bagels, 1/2 dozen poppy seed bagels, 1/2 dozen everything bagels and 1/2 dozen cinnamon raisin bagels. They were nice enough to put them in freezer bags. We picked up two containers of cream cheese as well. They make their own cream cheese and spreads as well. Service was great and fast. It's a small shop so not much space to sit and eat at all but that's to be expected in the city.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in the city, I always have to have a bagel. For this trip, I decided to grab some from Liberty Bagels. I veered off from my usual everything bagel and got the egg bagel instead. Dare I say that I might prefer this more... The bagel was delicious; it had the crunch factor but was still soft inside. The egg added some depth to the flavor. No complaints on the service. The wait was reasonable given the popularity of the place.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Had to get the salmon lox special bagel with rainbow bagel since we're in New York. I loved the different options that there were for cream cheese and bread. We went at 10 am on a weekday and there was already a bit of a wait and line. Got the red velvet muffin while waiting. It was pretty easy to get bar seating though.
google avatar

Candace W.

Yelp
This was such a great breakfast. Line wasn't too busy. I ordered an Asiago bagel with lox scallion cream cheese and lox. They have a variety of cream cheeses and bagels. Had to order with a staff member and wait time was quick. It's unfortunate they only have one cheese bagel and it can't be toasted.
google avatar

William H.

Yelp
Back in NYC again and heading back to a familiar bagel place. Line to get in and order is still long but move along pretty fast. Got the Works again. Still like before but wished the bagel was a bit more toasted.
google avatar

Yelp
Good bagels and muffins Very busy but quick service for having that many customers; not a lot of seating options and is on a busy NYC street - so not a lot of places to eat
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
Home of the rainbow bagel! We got the rainbow bagel and birthday spread and another savory bagel that is recommended, King of the Hill. We added salmon to the King of the Hill and grabbed a cup of coffee as well. Amazing for both!!! There is variety, quality, and quantity that would draw many people here for a reason as a staple of visiting NYC. Service is fast-paced so know what you'd like to order. There is limited seating inside so I'd recommend taking your bagels to the plaza right outside of Macy's mall - this will be about a 10 min walk from Liberty Bagels.
google avatar

Lonnie K.

Yelp
Got the most instaworthy bagel of all times, the rainbow-colored bagel with fresh in-house strawberry cream cheese. There's a variety of savory and sweet flavors. They sell other sandwiches, salads, muffins, and beverages. They don't skimp on the cream cheese filling so it's not only a thin layer. Surprisingly, the cream cheese isn't overwhelming heavy in any way....just the right amount of sweetness too. It's a small shop hidden under the scaffolds so might be easy to miss by accident. Ambiance wise is like any decent bagel shop with the exception of a giant overhead colorful half bagel emerging into the wall. Almost missed it if you don't look up. Service is fast from friendly staff, often lines, and seems to be popular with both tourists and locals alike. Can pay cash or card. Tight space but pretty organized. You place an order at the counter in the back and then wait for your name to be called by staff. They've free bagel stickers that customers can take after getting their orders. Last but not least, everyone can redeem a rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese on the day of his/her b-day with proof of valid ID.

Yelp
This is an excellent bagel experience! Don't be fooled by long lines, they work fast! You're first greeted at the door letting you know where the line begins. There's so many bagels and shmears to choose from. And they all taste equally as yummy! They even have vegan "cream cheese" in multiple flavors. Not a lot of space to eat there. About five people can fit at the small bar space along the wall and there's some standing tables outside. Definitely a must eat on the city!
google avatar

Lei H.

Yelp
I understand the hype now. So good. We got the powerhouse (egg white turkey, spinach, tomato) on everything bagel scooped and toasted. Plus poppyseed bagel with salmon dill cream cheese
google avatar

Mia H.

Yelp
I came here on my birthday and I heard that you can get a free bagel (and this is a spot that I've been wanting to try out) and I loved it! The shop is a bit small inside and there's not really much room for seating inside (but there are tables outside). Service here is nice and pretty quick. For your birthday, you can get a free rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese. The bagel itself was toasted, chewy, and delicious. The birthday cake cream cheese was surprisingly super good and not overly sweet at all. Delicious, and I would come back to try their other bagels some time!
google avatar

Dwain C.

Yelp
Don't let the neighborhood fool you. I think I overheard someone call this area bagel alley. Fantastic everything with lox and dill schmear. Really no seating to speak of but they do have a couple of stools inside and outside a little area to stand and eat. We were on our way back to LaGuardia and had one last thing to check off our list. Glad we did.
google avatar

Donna L.

Yelp
Wow! Who can come to NY without eating a bagel Filled with a smear And Lox? We were on our way to the charging bull and saw Liberty bagels and had to stop In. Their bagels are huge with many flavors one being rainbow. We ended up having a jalapeño bagels with lox and smear. It was huge and it was delicious! Of course it doesn't come cheap. About $17 each loaded bagel.
google avatar

Holly K.

Yelp
I got a rainbow bagel with cinnamon raisin walnut tofu cream cheese! I was so happy that they had vegan options, both of bagels and cream cheeses. I was able to sample two cream cheeses before deciding. The CRW Tofu Cream Cheese is very sweet, so if you want a dessert, go for that flavor! The rainbow bagel also has a vanilla-y flavor, so keep that in mind when choosing your bagel flavor. Very busy, but very fast service considering how long the line was.
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
I cannot believe how many types of cream cheese are here. Just to give you an idea, they have cream cheese flavors like cinnamon walnut raisin, avocado and herb, peanut butter nutella, and maple bacon. I opted for the rainbow bagel with scallion-tofu cream cheese. I had the bagel toasted and the cream cheese softened between the bagel halves. The rainbow bagel tasted like any plain bagel, but it was still fun to get the brightly covered bagel. The unique cream cheeses are what it's all about. Whether you are a local or tourist, Liberty Bagels is a solid stop for a New York bagel. On a future visit, I would like to try one of their sweet cream cheeses, like birthday cake or Oreo, on one of the sweet bagels, like French toast. Yes, they have a French toast bagel!
google avatar

Krystian C.

Yelp
I loved the chewiness of the bagels! It's quite different from Popup or Apollo, but definitely a strong contender. My only minor, minor complaint was it felt like an overwhelming amount of cream cheese. The line can really build up, but moves quickly. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Chris N.

Yelp
I heard amazing things about Liberty Bagels, so I had to try it for myself. I got the Rainbow Bagel with Lox Lemon-Dill Scallion cream cheese. Very Instagram worthy bagel and I did enjoy it. I didn't have to wait long, as some reviews mentioned. I visited on a Friday morning. There isn't much seating but I was able to grab one stool and eat before I headed out. After my visit to Liberty Bagels, I went down the block to the competition (Best Bagel and Coffee). Checkout my other reviews to see how Best Bagel compared.
google avatar

Jason D.

Yelp
From start to finish, the whole experience took about 25 minutes. The line moves relatively fast but can slow down at times. Inside, it's a bit chaotic and cramped--I wouldn't recommend eating there. *Rainbow Bagel with Birthday Cake Cream Cheese $7.41 | 7/10: The bagel itself was good but nothing extraordinary. I was surprised that the birthday cake cream cheese wasn't overly sweet. The real draw here is the novelty of the Liberty Bagel (red, white, and blue) and the rainbow bagel. Definitely a fun spot to check out if you're in NYC, but not the best bagel I had on this trip.
google avatar

Nida H.

Yelp
Still my fav bagel spot in NY. The PB Nutella cream cheese hits so hard. The jalapeno everything is so delish. It was my first time trying the scallion dill and it was also so good. Def recommend! The lines are long outside. Uber pickup is clutch per usual. Don't expect to sit there and eat! It's a small shop on a busy street.
google avatar

Alexa T.

Yelp
Got a bagel here for my birthday! There was a long line but it moved pretty fast. You show your ID to verify your birthday. I got the rainbow bagel toasted with birthday cake cream cheese.
google avatar

Julia M.

Yelp
I arrived to NYC and I needed lunch. I've heard great things about Liberty so I placed an order on Uber. I ordered a plain bagel with butter and a chicken caesar wrap. The bagel was excellent. It was toasted perfectly with just the right amount of butter. It was fluffy and not too hard. The wrap was okay. I ordered the wrap hot instead of cold, and I didn't realize the actual salad part would also be hot. I thought it would've just been the wrap. Because it was hot, it had fallen apart and it was hard to eat. The wrap though was toasted to perfection. Overall, I'd go back and try some of their more popular menu items!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Painfully mid bagel. The cream cheese was way too runny even with a non-toasted bagel. Bacon wasn't fresh. Not worth going out of your way for.
google avatar

Sadhana P.

Yelp
A very yum bagel! Admittedly I'm not well versed with the range of how good NY bagels can be, but for me personally this was one of the best bagels I've ever had. It's conveniently located only a few blocks away from Penn station, and quite a popular spot--the line to order bent all the way around the corner. We got our orders really quickly since we ordered ahead online, but the line still was moving pretty fast. The inside was insanely crowded without really much room to sit, so would recommend grabbing a bagel and going elsewhere to eat it. The menu is vast, with a huge variety of bagels, sandwiches, drinks, and pastries, and lots of different cream cheeses. I got a jalapeño bagel with lox and scallion cream cheese. The bagel definitely has a kick to it, and a strong jalapeño flavor. The cream cheese was loaded with fresh lox and scallions, with a good amount spread on the bagel too. My friend got the famous rainbow bagel which was very vibrantly colored, and she also reported it was delicious with the maple bacon cream cheese. Will definitely be stopping back here for a bagel in the future!
google avatar

Ellen P.

Yelp
The food was delicious, they were so busy. Lines everywhere but they had it all under control. Liberty Bagels seem to be a popular place for breakfast. We got the red white and blue bagels with salmon and avocado, and a fruit bowl! Omg delicious. If you can stand the long line I'd have to say it's well worth the wait. The food is amazing. The place is clean and well organized the staff wasn't as friendly as they could have been but they also wanted to get you in and out! Also they only have a few places to eat inside and a few tables outside to eat ,mostly you see a lot of people standing around outside eating.
google avatar

Yelp
A must visit one in NYC! On a recent trip to NYC, we had to stop at liberty bagels, Midtown, and well, it did not disappoint! The line was out the door when we arrived and I'll admit I was a little worried, but these folks run the shop well. We ended up visiting twice during the week we were there and yes, they are that good! The first time, we went with the classic best seller: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. Absolutely perfect! The bagel was fresh and chewy with a nice crisp outside and the filling was just the right amount. On our second visit, we went bold and tried the French Toast Bagel with Oreo Cream Cheese, and OH. MY. GOODNESS. I thought it might be too rich, but it was just right. Sweet, flavorful and surprisingly balanced. I honestly wish we had gotten another. We also grabbed some bagels to go to bring home. They stayed fresh. You have to stop in next time you're in NY, 100% worth the hype!
google avatar

Carlie R.

Yelp
Went because I saw all the hype online about the rainbow bagel -- and now I totally get it. Ever since that first visit, I've been craving a bagel from Liberty Bagels. I got an everything bagel with egg, cheese, bacon, and their bacon maple sriracha spread... seriously the best way to start the morning. Sadly, I live in California and nothing here even comes close. I think about that bagel way too often.
google avatar

Samyukta S.

Yelp
Ok I really wanted to love this place because it's so popular and quintessentially "New York". But I honestly was underwhelmed. I got an egg bagel with scallion cream cheese. Could not appreciate the flavor of the bagel at all, thanks to the thick layers of cream cheese - the amount they put on there is nauseating. This place is also so crowded and the menus are posted in several locations within the store but have conflicting information. It's all very confusing and chaotic. I'd skip and find a more authentic low key bagel spot.

Haniyyah B.

Yelp
Came here with friends for a quick breakfast before heading to the Met -- it's super close to Central Park, which was perfect. There wasn't much of a line and the service was fast. We ordered the rainbow bagel to share, and it had a fun cake-like flavor that we all enjoyed. I'm not a big fan of cream cheese, so I got a bagel with avocado and lox instead -- it was really delicious and surprisingly filling, probably could've shared it. Great spot for a casual bite before exploring the city!
google avatar

Kevin R.

Yelp
Great NY bagel shop. Lots of bagels and smears to choose from. Lots of sandwiches too. Service and though-put is fast.
google avatar

Jina P.

Yelp
I was extremely excited about Liberty Bagel despite my concerns that it was overhyped and a tourist spot. The line was extremely long but it does go somewhat quick - possibly 15 minutes to order and get food. It does get super packed inside and I didn't love that. In terms of the food, I got my classic bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel to go. The sandwich itself was good but definitely not worth the line as I've had much better for cheaper and no wait. I also thought they skimped on the bacon. Is it bad? No. That said, I probably won't go back again unless the lines are greatly reduced, or nonexistent.

Yelp
I was visiting NYC for a long weekend and did some research on good bagel places near me. This place was walkable from my hotel and had really good reviews and rainbow bagels! It was a Sunday morning, so I made sure to order online to avoid standing outside in the cold to get in. I arrived on time and only had to wait a couple of minutes for my order to come out. They had a guy working outside that managed the door/entry and handed out online orders. It would have been hectic if he wasn't there. Anyway, I went basic and ordered a rainbow bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. The bagel had a good crisp on the outside and was soft in the middle - just what I was hoping for. Honestly, if I had been able to eat it sooner, I think it would have been even better. Alas, I had a 15 minute snowy walk back to my hotel. In any case, this place was pretty organized and the bagel was tasty. I would definitely go again and be more adventurous with lox, a bacon/egg/cheese or flavored cream cheese.
google avatar

Savannah W.

Yelp
Very good! Generous portions and lots of options for bagels and cream cheeses, in addition to other ones with healthy greens and seafood options. Would recommend. Wait wasn't too long, maybe 10 min.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
We was visiting NYC for the day and we had to make sure we had a true NY bagel!! My husband grew up in NY and swears you can't find a good NY bagel in KCMO... well liberty bagels midtown did not disappoint! Service was fast and friendly! Busy!! But we got in with our order quickly! The family loved their bagels! Fun place! My daughter loved the stickers they were passing out!!
google avatar

Julia W.

Yelp
Probably one of the best breakfast/brunch experiences I had in NY. Ordering online was fast and easy, and the price to bagel ratio was incredible. The bagels were huge and loaded with toppings - they had a perfectly crispy exterior with a soft and chewy interior. The lox bagel was LOADED with lox cream cheese -- it tasted so fresh and light. The high line bagel (pastrami, egg, and scallion cream cheese) was also loaded. Everything tasted phenomenal. Highly recommend this spot for bagels!
google avatar

Jenna D.

Yelp
A must stop before returning home via Amtrak. We bring a dozen bagels. There are no bagels like NY bagels and Liberty does 'em well. Service was nice even though we were getting there right before closing time.
google avatar

Jenny Z.

Yelp
Came at 1pm on a Friday and there was no line at all. Opted for the novie, and it was really good! The bagel was perfect texture and had such a nice chew and fluffiness -- one of the best textured bagels I had, with a slight toast and perfect chew. My only complaint was it was not seasoned enough (I got the everything bagel). In terms of the ingredients inside, I could tell that it was not the freshest smoked salmon or freshest tomato, but the dill cream cheese was delicious! It was light, and I did not get tooo much dill flavor in it, but it was good and paired well with the fluffy bagel. A bit pricey, but the bagel itself was top notch (you can tell it was hand made).
google avatar

Kyra M.

Yelp
Great spot for not just bagels but also hot paninis, euro sandwhiches, wraps, coffee. The bagels were amazing, a perfect New York Bagel with heavy on the spread, tall raised bagel fluffy on the inside. We got 2 everything bagels with chive cream cheese and lox and they were 12.95 each and worth every penny, the lox was super fresh and dark pink and so flavorful. And they did not skimp on the lox the perfect amount. The line was super long I think due to the holidays but they had someone walk by and take your order and it went by super super fast. We also got coffee which they had a lot of options and was very strong and warm. The inside was very loud and very crowded so we had to eat outside as all tables were taken but 10/10 worth it!
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Really soft bagels with incredible amounts of quality cream cheese. If you want a heavy breakfast that will last, you have to come here. Ordering online was definitely the way to go, let me skip the line and just pick up my bagel. (At the time of my order, I also was able to get a discount since it was my first order on the app). Lox spread was amazing, not heavy on the fish taste, but a more subtle infused flavor.

Yelp
It is more of a 3.5 stars. I really craved their bagels and stood in line for whopping 52 minutes!!! in cold 28F degree. and it was disappointing, hardly any cream cheese in it. This is location specific. If you go to the Wall street location, it is excellent. 1. Long line: always have a line and you should expect to wait minimum 30 minutes outside and then some inside. 2. Speed: Once you give the order, it is under 5 minutes. Very efficient and fast. Their business is certainly booming. 3. The Bagel: 3.5 stars. - Liberty bagel: 3 stars. The dough was not that good tasting and mine hardly had any cream cheese. I will never get over this. - Rainbow bagel: 5 stars. Love this and i think goes best with strawberry cream cheese - Blueberry bagel: kinda good with the blueberry crema cheese - plain bagel with lox spread feels like a meal 4. Service: you hardly talk with anyone except to give the order. Fresh orange juice is good. Pistachio muffin was unfortunately not very good. All in all, this location is not worth the trouble!

Yelp
The BEST BAGEL SANDWICH I'VE EVER HAD! This was my second time coming here while being in New York and we love stopping by every time! The store is very small and it's best to order ahead and pickup. The bagels are fresh and the turkey bacon and eggs are super tasty. The first time we went, we didn't order ahead and we had to wait in line but the wait was not as long as we though and they get you in and out but my preference is to order ahead because you get your order faster and you can keep moving. This place is super popular as well so they always have people there ordering! I would recommend everyone to come to this place when you're in the area for breakfast or even lunch because the food is fresh and tasty

Yelp
So many spreads! Crazy lines but they move fairly quickly. Bagels have just the right amount of chew. We tried the breakfast sandwich, lox, and jalapeño cheddar.

Yelp
came here the morning of my birthday because what better way than to start my birthday morning and celebrating with the famous rainbow bagel with birthday cake cream cheese!!! honestly nothing special its just a plain bagel but i do enjoy the fun bright colors! i'd skip the birthday cake cream cheese, i prefer savory cream cheese!! but we also got the New Yorker with everything bagel buns & The Protein Plus on jalapeño cheddar buns, both delicious and a good size for about $10 a bagel sandwich!! workers there were very nice & helpful, great service
