"Liberty Bakery is a small drive-thru best known for its pastries and cookies, but also serves a solid on-the-go breakfast. Grab a muffin filled with fruit or a breakfast sandwich made-to-order, but make sure to leave room for a cookie or slice of pie for dessert." - Megan duBois

"When comfort food means baked goods, warm quiche, and creamy chicken salad, Liberty Bakery is the spot to be. The small drive-thru location often has a line, but it’s certainly worth the wait. Fans of the bakery are known to plan their week around specials like homemade oatmeal creme pies that will immediately take diners back to their childhood." - Megan duBois

This is my favorite bakery! Great treats, great food. Great Service. This is a hidden gem. If you are near Parental Home and Bowden you must stop by this drive-thru only. Closed Sunday and Monday.

I love liberty bakery. Hands down the best spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. The prices are unbelievably reasonable and they have a new dessert menu every Tuesday. The owner is very friendly and everything is nicely package so you can take it home, if you dont eat it in your car first.

This bakery is to DIE FOR. Y’all. I can’t even begin to put into words how absolutely delicious it is, but I’m going to try. I’ll start with the chocolate chip scone, ugh. Incredible. The delicate light fluffy goodness encompassed with chocolate chips throughout that brings that pop of sweetness to compliment the buttery heavenly scone. Amazing. Now, the chorizo and black bean quiche. WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE. Homemade flaky goodness of a crust. Yummy not too spicy not too bland chorizo without overwhelming amounts of grease pouring out, pure perfection. I just can’t even. I will be back to try EVERYTHING this beautiful gem has to offer. Thank you Liberty Bakery for blessing my tastebuds with your masterpieces.

It is really in a small building but the food is good. I wish that the biscuit were a little more fluffy, it seems like there were second pass biscuits. I do like the shape of my biscuits. I did eat the egg, bacon, and cheese biscuit sandwich. I would still eat this sandwich as an option for breakfast.

Above and beyond!! Unique experience (but not surprised if it’s not). I was on my way there on a Saturday for banana bread and missed the fact that they close at 1pm—it was 12:50pm. I called ahead to see if it was worth the stop. Unfortunately they didn’t have the bread but the women— didn’t catch her name was INCREDIBLY helpful offering to text me tips to get me going on making my own. I can bake, I just didn’t feel like it that day, lol…it was easy with her help though. More importantly great feedback 🤤 I added some spread options, brown butter and guava-cran. I’ll need to stop an actually try them out but pretty sure my review/stars would be the same.

I got the Two if by Brie on a croissant — turkey, Brie, cranberry. Huge heavy sandwich, the croissant was flaky and buttery. Support local 🤘🏼

I love this place. Always yummy, friendly, and fast. I like the breakfast burrito with bacon and salsa. Plus a large sweet tea. The family there is very sweet. And the consistency of the food is amazing

Yelp
We ordered catering for a small event and the food was phenomenal! All the reviews discussing the cute family-owned atmosphere and affordable food are accurate but this drive-thru spot is also a hidden gem for organic and vegan options in Jacksonville! We spoke to the owner for a bit and she explained how everything is homemade and she uses multi grains whenever possible. She explained she had past experiences in the restaurant industry and was appalled at the grease and quality of food often found in Indian restaurants. This was her motivation to create homemade quality organic and affordable food. The idli we ordered tasted amazing and didn't even taste like it was made of multigrains! After eating at many of Jax's Indian restaurants and suffering the next day from the oiliness and poor quality, I'm excited to support such a cute small business which prioritizes health and quality over profits! Also, so difficult to find a place these days that sells avocado toast for a normal price but it's ~$5 here!!

Yelp
I've saw this place open several months ago and saw some good reviews so I thought I would give it a try after a friend mentioned that they had a great butter chicken. It's one of my favorite dishes so I was excited. I stopped by around lunch time and it was not busy at 11:30. You place your order at one window and drive around the building too pick it up. The staff are very friendly. The dish is actually called Naan with Butter Chicken and there is a reason for that. There are three large pieces of naan. They also include about a 1/4 cup of salad (no dressing or it's very light). 1/4 fruit and a cup of butter chicken. There was nine pieces of chicken in my order. I ran out of chicken before I an out of naan. Pros: * Very friendly staff * Great quality naan and butter chicken (tastes homemade) * Everything was fresh Cons: * Menu board says the price is $ 10.99 but I was charged $11.49 plus tax. * I was really expecting a larger portion of butter chicken * Strawberries in the fruit salad did not have the stems removed Overall, I wish I could give them 4.5 stars but I'm giving them 4 stars because the dish focuses on the naan instead of the butter chicken. I am a foodie so my expectations are high for five stars.

Yelp
Cutest shop I have seen in a very long time, with really personable service and great good. We were not planning to stop in, but we were thrilled to do so. I'm thinking of making a trip back just to do a little shopping and have lunch at a restaurant nearby.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop on my way to an estate sale. First rule about an state sale is finding a hidden gem among the masses. And boy is CFK is a hidden gem. It seems like a family run business and we were given some free treats while waiting in the drive through. The menu is pretty straightforward and I'm shocked at the wallet friendly prices. It is a no frill coffee shop with the essential basics. The coffee was warm like a hug and the banana bread was delicious. It's a drive through, quick and friendly. Can't wait to try it again!

Yelp
We came across this place at around 1 pm on a Sunday looking for a quick lunch. I'm so glad we did! We ordered a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit, iced coffee, and cinnamon roll. All were delicious! Service was great, has a drive thru as well as a table to sit and eat if you'd like. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Yelp
Easy and convenient drive through location. The business is family owned and operated. The cashier was very patient and willing to explain the menu and the preparation. The ambiance was family friendly as picnic tables were located near the property and friends and customers could be seen enjoying the great food. The egg puff was light and fulfilling. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I was sad when Liberty closed. But I was so excited to see a new local and might I add, friendly business pop up in this spot. I was greeted by the super sweet shop owner. I loved her smile and demeanor. I decided to try a few of their breakfast items and ordered a chocolate caramel iced coffee. Everything was good but here's what I enjoyed from super tasty to tasty (because nothing tasted bad!) #1 Chocolate caramel iced coffee - So delicious that I drank it all without taking a picture. It was sweet, without tasting artificial or cloying sweet, and smooth. #2 Spinach Quiche - well seasoned, good flavor, the crust was soft, not crisp, but still a good bite #3 Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit - the sandwich had a soft and hearty biscuit with good sized thick and chewy bacon. I prefer crispier bacon, but given the cut, I figured that contributed to the texture. #4 Biscuit and gravy - it has the same soft and hearty biscuit as their sandwich. The gravy was a good consistency and had plenty of turkey sausage crumbles in it. The only reason why it's at the bottom of the list is that I wish it was a tad bit more seasoned and savory. I love that they had turkey sausage instead of pork (just personal preference) and that it was a good sized portion and very filling. I'd definitely come back again to try more of their menu.

Yelp
Such a hidden gem. I was so sad to see livery bakery close they had the absolute BEST southern breakfast biscuit but the new owners are using the same recipe and adding a South Indian spin to the menu. You can get your classic American breakfast staples alongside traditional South Indian street foods and sides which on weekends are so good especially if you want a good hearty Indian meal without the work or heaviness of a buffet or thali. Perfect for bachelors tbh All the luck and hope they do well Glad to see them back! With my fave biscuit recipe

Yelp
Butter chicken with naan - so yummy! I highly recommend stopping by the Corner Farm Kitchen if you are in the area.

Yelp
Amazing little gem! Check their menu for some secret indian food (dosas, butter chicken, etc). All around amazing food, service and decor. It's drive thru only (for now), but on Saturdays they do picnic style servings outside. Great community vibes. Definitely will return and continue to support this place.

Kayla H.

Yelp
Me and my mom's favorite place in Jax. The owner is a sweetheart and makes her food from scratch. Indian dishes, breakfast foods, baked goods, you can't go wrong here. Oohhh try the dosas, you won't be sorry.

Christine H.

Yelp
She is so sweet!! The food Is delectable! Seriously delicious! I'm so happy I tried the naan with butter chicken! Yummy! I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu! And the chai here is amazing! The best of everything! Yay! From scratch, healthy, perfect! Thank you!

Yelp
Simple Authentic Tasty summarize the experience. Excellent service in a serene corner lot... greenery adds to the ambience.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, made to order, gourmet food to go right off I-95 and University Blvd. A must visit for breakfast or lunch

Yelp
I was so excited to try the butter chicken, and this place did not disappoint! I only hope they add more Indian dishes to their menu in the future! The cinnamon bun was fresh and delicious, and the lady who served my food was so nice! I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Love this place. Love that they have kept the old menu at the same time they have introduced a South Indian fusion cuisine. I love that they a picnic style events in the weekends. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Great drive through restaurant option. Came across while working nearby. Decided to stop and give it a try. The naan with butter chicken was so good and had a side of fresh fruit and a salad. The staff was very friendly and even gave me an apple cinnamon muffin to try. It did not disappoint. I will be back next time I am in the area. Love seeing healthy fast food options available.

Yelp
The butter chicken is amazing!! They make the sauce from scratch. The samosas have a slight kick of spice to it, but it's very good. The best customer service, they are very sweet and friendly.

Febe V.

Yelp
Beautiful little spot to get your relaxing weekend started with a chai and delicious moon biscuit. The sweet staff will be sure to put love and care into the creating and packaging of your dish :)
