This place was calm, and clean. But…. The hostess looked so sad with a blink expression on her face, this carried over to her disposition. We ordered Rotisserie chicken salad, Salmon and mashed potatoes with the Jerk chicken appetizer. The Jerk chicken was brought out and after enjoying it we realized we were not given napkins. We asked the bus boy and he couldn’t find any and then reached over and grabbed some rough paper napkins from over the bar. These napkins that’s used to place glasses on smelled horrible. Our food was placed on the table and everything looked good but we were never given any utensils lol. We did enjoy the Jerk chicken wings, the Mashed potatoes were good and hearty, the Salmon and 2 Asparagus with 4 String beans weren’t bad even though it was cold. They gave very little Rotisserie chicken on the salad and it was diced up so small it began to taste like tune lol. Our waitress Destiny kept disappearing for long periods of time. Our food got cold while waiting and standing around looking for anyone to help. The atmosphere was nice, and perhaps our unfavorable experience may have been isolated on the wrong night at the wrong time. If you decide to stop by Parx casino check them out. Let us know.

We loved this place! Delicious food, fun atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff. I tried the cheesesteak dumplings and the Asian chop chop bowl which were both scrumptious. Dejan and Kamari both knock it out of the park with fantastic service. We will definitely be back!

I want to start by saying my husband and I have been there many times and are usually happy. This time we went during happy hour on a Sunday. What a difference! The only reason I did not complain AT the visit was because the bill was so low that it wasn't worth it. First, the place was empty and the bartender was totally bored, looked miserable and seemed only concerned with flirting with another staff member. I ordered a bloody mary and was never asked how I like it when I ordered it. Normally, a bartender will ask, do you like it spicy or....It arrived and she did not ask how it was, which again, I am not used to. My husband, had to wait over 5 min. for a refill on his beer. The staff was all clustered around the bar chatting which is such a bad look (the place was empty) and our bartender never checked on us. I finally had to call over to the group to get her attention. Finally, the happy hour food was just plain terrible. I ordered the egg and burger slider. The burger was clearly an overcooked frozen patty. It had terrible texture and zero flavor. The chicken balls or whatever they called it had such a fake processed texture and taste. We both had one and that was enough. My husband, had the pizza and we both agreed that it had a sweet weird sauce that I thought also had a blue cheese flavor which was off putting. Bartender also never asked me if I wanted another drink and also never checked on us after the food arrived. Again, we have been there many times, usually on a Saturday and were super pleased. This was a first on a Sunday and I am not sure if the cook is different or what, but the bartender was really over her job and just didn't care. Shame.....Someone needs to work with this shift of people working on Sunday at 4pm as it was such a different experience. This is also maybe the 3rd time, I've ever done a review. That's how annoyed we both were.

We had dinner at the Liberty Bell Gastropub last Friday night before seeing Larry the Cable Guy. Everything about our experience from start to finish was perfect. The atmosphere, the food, and especially our server Kevin who was so pleasant and friendly and very attentive. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Google
We came here for dinner and sat at the bar and this was an okay experience. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. The food was poor to mediocre overall. The seafood chowder was quite tasty to be honest. However, the French onion soup was a touch too sweet. The fish and chips look great, but the fish was overcooked and soggy - not edible. The prime rib was okay - a touch overcooked and missing seasoning. Maybe it was an off night

Went there tonight for dinner. Mother’s Day. 5-11-25. 6:30 pm. Not a long wait (45 mins) considering the holiday. Sat down and ordered a roast beef sandwich and my husband ordered a rotisserie chicken. Waited at least a half hour for it to come out. As soon as he cut into his chicken you could see it wasn’t cooked. I called our waiter over immediately to tell him the chicken was pink and gummy. He went to get the manger. Should have gotten his name. He was so rude. Came stomping over to the table and informed us that it was just a “ popped vein” (in the chicken??????) and what did we want???? So my husband ordered a Cobb salad to replace it. Took another 20 mins to get it. During the time we waited the server came back over to apologize. Told him it wasn’t his fault but his manager is awful. Manager came back to say, sorry if I came off “some kind of way”… some kind of way was that he didn’t care at all. We ended up taking the salad home. It had taken so long that my husband had eaten half of my sandwich. Great server, horrible food and even worse resolution…

Google
What a great event space! I was there for a PRLA event and was truly impressed by how great the venue looked and the great service I received from the staff. It was also nice that they gave me $45 to spend at the games inside Parx.

Google
We ate in the Beer Garden here (which has the same menu but is set up as a different dining area) and it was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly, and the food was very good. I particularly liked the French Onion soup, which was among the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend the Liberty Bell Gastropub or Beer Garden for a meal!

Yelp
Terrell was an absolute rockstar! He was super engaging, attentive and friendly. He catered to our large group needs with efficiency and a constant smile. He went out of his way to provide local recommendations and engaged in conversation. As a manager in food service, he is absolutely someone I would see to have on my team! Well done to Terrell. Liberty Bell Beer Garden is lucky to have him!!!

Yelp
Great time. Kevin/Jeremy were our waiters and they were amazing. Funny charming etc. great experience will come again. Also the food is phenomenal.

Rita B.

Yelp
Just visited Liberty Bell Gastropub last Saturday and have nothing but great things to say about it. We sat at the bar and our bartender, DAMON, was great. Drinks were wonderful and Damon was very attentive. Food was great also. Can't wait to get back there very soon. Hopefully this Saturday.

Yelp
Far exceeded my expectations of a restaurant within Parx. The service was slow in the beginning and we sat for atleast 20 mins before being greeted. However, the food and drinks were phenomenal. The dishes were fairly priced, around $23 each and drinks were $14. The "Peachy" was amazing!

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We were celebrating my husband's birthday. The food was excellent, and a great value for the price. The Jordyn and Kevin B. took expert, professional care of us. They were friendly, knew the menu well, and were very attentive. In top of that, when my husband had a moderate (but non emergency) medical episode related to a chronic illness, Jordyn and Kevin jumped right in to help, with concern and compassion. They went above and beyond in every way, not the least of which was human kindness!

Ilene S.

Yelp
3.5 Started off with the cheesesteak dumplings. They had a good flavor but were slightly overcooked. The fried chicken was finger licking good. Crispy crunchy breading with tender chicken inside. The mash potatoes were creamy and wonderful. The cheeseburger was cooked to order and also had a good flavor. The roast beef sandwich was on the dry side, could have had more meat to balance out the size of the roll The grilled chicken BLT looked good. Lots of thinly sliced chicken with thick slices of bacon. The service was extremely slow. We only had 15 minutes to eat our meal before our show started despite having gotten to the restaurant 90 minutes prior to the show starting. The manager did come over to apologize and took off our drinks while also offering dessert if we wanted to return after the show.

Yelp
One of the better options for food at Parx is at the Liberty Bell Gastropub. Do not expect the world at this place and you will most likely be content with your meal. After reviewing the menu ahead of time I was planning on going with the grass-fed prime rib as we had a concert starting within one hour of being seated. Once the waitress belted out the specials my girlfriend and I decided to split one of their specials, the Blackened Chicken with Tri-Color Tortellini. The blackened chicken tasted fresh and by nature it being blackened has a bit too much sodium cooked into it however paired with the tasty cream sauce over tortellini made it a thumbs up meal in my book, bordering on comfort food due the delectable ample portion size of alfredo like cream sauce underneath, on top of and lathered onto the tortellini. My friend had the French Onion Soup and he said it was average. My other good friend went with the roast beef on sourdough bread which he stated had a bit too much flavor of sourdough impacting the quality of the sandwich. These are some of the misses you may run into here. Of the choices at Parx this is a very nice sit down option to unwind and slow down in the very fast paced environment of the casino world. As always people SYOY!!!

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, good food EXCEPT the salads! The Asian chop chop salad is one of the worst salads I've ever eaten! I really should have sent it back but I waited so long for food I was too hungry to wait for something else.

Thai T.

Yelp
Kevin was an excellent server. The atmosphere is awesome and all the wait staff are extremely friendly. Food also top notch came and enjoyed the prime rib.

John A.

Yelp
Stopped in here after a 50 mile bike ride in the beautiful PA rolling hills. Great service & food. Lots of TVs and the best thing is there's no smoking in the whole joint. Damon & David are the best. Will return when I come and ride again.

Courtney C.

Yelp
The food is always great here but they took off the short rib jalapeño cornbread appetizer . Please bring it back it's the best. Also the rotisserie chicken Caesar salad is one of the best Caesars I've ever had. It's delicious. The clay pot fire shrimp is delicious as well. We had the cedar salmon and it was good! The service is great here with Kevin the food runner, and our server Shawn. Great atmosphere and beautiful bar! Also they have real espresso martinis!

Salvatore D.

Yelp
Damon, the bartender here at Liberty pub is very nice and helpful. He remembered my wife and I. We had some great food and a very nice time. It's unfortunate that there was 3 or 4 young ladies working just standing around at the hostess desk? The bartenders were definitely working hard Thank you Damon!!

Ciaran L.

Yelp
Went there for a late dinner on Saturday night. Called ahead and they put my name down and got us a table as soon as we arrived. It's located in the Casino and is in the far back. The atmosphere was great. They have a large menu of cocktails and craft beer on tap. The food menu is a touch overwhelming on the variety and amazing sounding dishes. I'd say everything is slightly on the pricy side but warranted. Avg dinner meal is around $20. Our server was really nice but not super attentive. We asked if silverware and didn't get it and had to ask another employee, but other than that it was fine. They also have a large beer garden that had a dj playing. Overall really enjoyed our evening.

Kim P.

Yelp
It was a good experience with the exception of a few things. The place was virtually empty but the server was not very attentive; the staff seemed to enjoy talking to one another more than serving the limited customers. The beer selection was surprisingly small for a gastropub. The poutine was amazing the rest of the food was average. After Sri going decent beers we ordered Long Island Ice Teas, when they arrived they tasted like Arnold Palmers with no alcohol. I explained the situation to the server, he took the drinks to the bartender. He returned with same ice teas and said the bartender said if he remade them they would taste the same because he is following the recipe...lol. Basically the bartender was unwilling to please or appease us. Even I know rarely do any two drinks taste alike....nonetheless that was a sign of terrible customer service. We sent the drinks back and asked to have the beverages removed from the bill. We paid and left and decided to go to another establishment for a nightcap. There is a reason why the place isn't packed...js.

Yelp
Nice bar restaurant within the Casio. Overall they have a nice selection of food and drink especially beer if you choose to pit stop. Service is very hit and miss.

Yelp
Located inside Parx Casino in Philadelphia, Liberty Bell Gastropub offers a great dining experience. The Smoke House BBQ Burger was delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The ambience was fantastic with a comfortable and modern atmosphere. The restaurant also has a great selection of beers to choose from. Overall, Liberty Bell Gastropub is a great spot for a meal or a drink while at the casino. Highly recommended.

Sharyl D.

Yelp
Came for a meal before a show and I'm still thinking about the black and blue burger I had. So yummy great service but definitely loud.

Anthony T.

Yelp
The only thing better than the clay pot crispy fire shrimps (YUMMY must try and great portion) was our amazing waitress Jordyn!! My girlfriend and I came in so grumpy from a rough day at work and her kindness and smile turned our night around. She made sure our food and drinks came out quickly so we could enjoy our show in time, she made great recommendations, and she was super thoughtful! 5 stars!

Perri B.

Yelp
A few years ago I loved this restaurant, now, whenever I go in and it says that it is open, it's blocked off with cones and no one is in there. Otherwise the food is great!

Evonne R.

Yelp
Our bartender/server, Serina was excellent! Very attentive and polite. My husband and I each ordered the 2 different soups on the menu, French Onion and Seafood Chowder. Absolutely delicious! Seafood Chowder was so creamy, both were deliciously fresh. Would also like to mention that these were probably the best fries I've ever eaten with a burger. Crispy on the outside and lots of creamy potato on the inside. Not fried air!! Highly recommend!

D C.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and good drinks, I haven't been here in years but I had a good experience. But I do not know about the food but I will be back.

Leena S.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with Liberty Bell Gastropub. Restaurants located inside a casino usually don't amount to much. But Liberty Bell dispelled that myth by offering wonderful food, phenomenal service and great ambiance. The restaurant has a farm-to-table inspired menu with locally sourced ingredients such as Pennsylvania beef, pork, and free range chicken. There is also a Rotisserie bar which roasts the chicken and beef. We ordered the Rotisserie Cooked Pennsylvania Grass-fed Prime Rib and the Grilled Breast of Chicken Paillard. Both entrees were so good! My chicken was super moist, the mushroom gravy amazing, and the mashed potatoes melted in your mouth. On top of that, we were given free dessert coupons. The Chocolate Lava cake was sinful and the Tiramisu (house made) was tasty as well. If you want to just get a drink and watch some sports, the restaurant has a great bar with large TVs and an LED wall. So, 5 stars for this casino restaurant, surely an anomaly in the world of casino restaurants.

Jen G.

Yelp
Sat at the bar with my brother for dinner, Emily Rogers is by far the best bartender we've ever had. Amazing personality and quick with drinks. Thanks Emily, we'll be back!!

RoseMarie S.

Yelp
Damon was awesome! Service was amazing! I would bring my friends any day of the week to enjoy a night out! Free Range Chicken

Antonio P.

Yelp
Came here about 6 to 7 times and always had a great experience! The food always has great quality and the service is always great, I definitely recommend the rotisserie chicken Caesar's salad and the short rib! Kevin B and Sean took care of me and my girlfriend tonight and they did an awesome job!

Amy K.

Yelp
I went with a group of women on Saturday night - right at prime dinner time before a concert - and our table was ready and we never felt rushed. Our waiter, Isabella, was friendly, thorough, patient, charming...can't rave about her enough. I had the chicken meal and it was delicious. Could have used more than 4 string beans but if that's my only complaint, that's high praise. This is a nice casino restaurant that really focuses on the quality of the food and the service. Very pleased!

Maria L.

Yelp
We arrived to the restaurant with no reservation. We were seated immediately. Within about 10 min our male server was present. He asked us we wanted anything to drive and we just said water. Once our water arrived we ordered our meals. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the steak and chips. Our dinner arrived very quickly. Both were hot in temperature when it arrived. My husband fish and chips , hot on arrival and cod fish was a good portion. He said he enjoyed his meal. My meal was steak and chips. It was hot , the string chips were warm and soggy. Sadly my steak was dry, very salty and somewhat difficult to cut. I ate 1/2 and my husband at the other half. The only reason I ate it was I was starving. I did mention it to the server and he said he would mention it to the cook. I was hoping maybe to get some of a discount. But no such luck. My server was excellent. Service and attention top notched. I wish I knew his name.

J.P. W.

Yelp
Great place inside Parx. I like the vibe. Everyone was pleasant. Our server talked softly and at times it was hard to hear her but she did a great job otherwise. Good selection on the menu. I had the Shepherd's Pie and it fully met my expectations. Beer menu comes along on an iPad and is also listed on the Untappd app. Good selection. A nice escape from the casino, not overly loud. I'd definitely go back.

Terri L.

Yelp
The food is really good. We always sit at the bar. We had Damon as our server last night. He was very nice & attentive. Will definitely go back. We had french onion soup & fries.

Craig J.

Yelp
Fast service, particularly for a busy Friday night. Good meal. Will return........:::::....

Marjorie A.

Yelp
This place was great! The food was very good, especially the buffalo wings, and the staff was very attentive. Everyone was super friendly, good ambiance and not too loud or busy which was great for date night. Our server Liora was a sweetheart, checked in on us a lot and offered a free birthday dessert! I know a lot of places do that but we didn't have to ask, just told her which dessert we wanted. Will definitely be back :)

Tracy G.

Yelp
The Liberty Bell Gastropub in Parx Casino is always a hit for me. Food is great and staff are accommodating and pleasant. This past weekend we had the pleasure of having Liora as our server. She was great, knowledgeable, greeted us with a smile and really made us feel welcomed. I highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are moderate and the food is American style with a flair of upscale fusion. Thanks Liora, you made our night extra special!

Katie W.

Yelp
Great service and drinks. Highly recommend making a reservation of going for an event. Food options are nice - went for the Matt rife show Sadly, later that night I did have some food poisoning symptoms. (I only had one drink)

John M.

Yelp
I went to Parx with my wife and Father-In-Law last night and we we went to Liberty Bell for dinner and it was as great as usual. I had the Pork Schnitzel and my wife had appys for dinner (onion rings and wings) while my Father-In-Law had the crispy chicken sandwich. We had oysters for an appetizer and everything was amazing, good portions and everything was cooked perfectly. The only part of the experience that was better was our waitress, Aubrey who was very friendly and answered all of our questions professionally and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Daniel M.

Yelp
It wasn't horrible, but I don't think I'd try it again. Had the shepherd's pie. Not at the bottom of the list of disappointing shepherd's pie, but not far up from the bottom. The peas were tough, like they had freezer burn. Blah.

Dorina N.

Yelp
Awful food and very slow service I order a pastrami sandwich it came out cold. The baguette was not fresh and we ordered an appetizer of shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp was waterlogged for $18 for four shrimps. It was a rip off because it did not even tease Good at all. I waited 45 minutes for my drink Was extremely upset. We were late for our show at excite the waitress cat forgetting what we asked for, and nowhere to be found the table behind us complain about their food, so we weren't surprised that we were not the only ones that were not satisfied with our experience there.

Renee G.

Yelp
We went there Saturday night before the Big & Rich show. We sat in the Beer Garden. Our server, Destiny, was excellent. Very efficient and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the prime rib. Loved the plating. Mashed potatoes and string beans were perfect. My daughters had the free range chicken and the salmon. Both loved the dishes. The vibe was laid back. I can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer.

Jeffrey A.

Yelp
My wife and me were there on Friday night September 15th to get a bite to eat before we went to club 360 to see a band the bartender that took care of us was excellent I asked her what she would recommend we tried some of the things she said and they were real good definitely will be back her name was Crystal Schwartz

Linda M.

Yelp
The local free range fried chicken was amazing as were the Philly cheesesteak dumplings. Larissa our waiter was attentive and always made sure we had our drinks. Definitely recommend.

Michael H.

Yelp
I normally don't eat at the casino when I go play, but I was starving today and decided to give it a try. Was definitely surprised at the options it had. I'm a big foodie so it was cool to see a decent pub in the area. Big shoutout to Brandon Farrell! Server went above and beyond and suggested amazing appetizers and drinks. Will def come back!

Cyndi D.

Yelp
Had a lovely date night with hubby. Food was delicious. Larissa was our server and was super attentive. Bread pudding of the day was

William F.

Yelp
Went there a couple months ago. Food is a lot better. You might think at a casino prices are reasonable.

Heather L.

Yelp
The service is too slow. Took over an hour to get two burgers. The people bringing out the food wander around like they have no idea where there are going. Seemed very disorganized. Had to eat my dinner in 10 minutes after sitting there for an hour and a half to get to the show.

Gerald S.

Yelp
After visiting Parx Casino for the first time I wanted to grab a bite on site to satisfy my skipped dinner hunger and check out one of its food options. I saw Liberty Bell Gastropub right off the casino floor and walked in to see what was going on. The bar was a large rectangle with plenty of open seats. I grabbed one after the hostess said I was free to do so. The space is attractively appointed with very high wood planked ceiling and large HDTVs all around. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. I asked for a menu and then saw the Happy Hour card standing on the bar near me. I realized that HH was from 9 to 11, and that I was right in the middle of it. It had more or less what I wanted (burger & beer) and nice discounts. I went with their Smokehouse Burger (gouda, bacon, BBQ sauce on brioche bun), side of mashed rather than fries, and a Victory Prime Pilsner. $7 savings made for a great and tasty deal. The burger was the perfect medium finish requested, and the garlicy mashed potatoes a pleasant alternative to overworked fries. The Philly brewed Victory beer was a cold refreshing washdown. Also nice to have linen napkin and heavy grade flatware on hand. All in all, Liberty Bell Gastropub could easily stand on its own as a high quality roadside stop. Of course, the gambling operation no doubt subsidizes the cost in order to keep people near the gaming tables. Still, it was a job well done.

William C.

Yelp
Excellent food Great menu mix And the nicest wait staff you could imagine. Sure, it's a little pricey, but hey your in a casino

Judy D.

Yelp
I would have rated 5 stars if the hostess desk was more concerned about welcoming customers than chatting amongst themselves. But our server, Dejah made up for this awful start. Dejah was the most customer-service focused young woman who cared about making our experience the best. She explained any delays, sincerely apologized and made us feel like she really cared that we had a great dinner. The fish n chips were perfect and the onion rings the best we've ever had..so light and crispy and tasty. Thank you to the cooks and to Dejah.

Karly K.

Yelp
VERY IMPRESSED! Located inside the casino close to the showroom if you're there for a show. Food was delicious, though portions seemed a little slim. High quality proteins and flavor. Recommend the pork chop and rotisserie chicken. Great beer selection on draft and friendly bar service. Clean, dim lit bar atmosphere. The hostess was extremely rude--she claimed they were booked with reservations ALL night meanwhile there were plenty of tables available my entire time. I had the idea of first come, first serve bar seating in the center. Would have been nice for the hostess to suggest this as an alternative. Ridiculous...all in all I urge you to make a reservation prior to avoid that hassle. Other food options looked good too so I'd like to return. There is an outdoor/natural sun lit Biergarten in back too with small bites that seems like a fun hang.

Chuck S.

Yelp
First time there. The food was the highlight and the drinks were fine as well. Ambiance is acceptable as is the wait staff. Overall, I would return but not planning to rush back there any time soon.

Jim T.

Yelp
This location is inside Parx Casino. My 2 friends and I stopped in for lunch (12:30) on Saturday of opening weekend of NCAA March Madness before playing some poker. The place was pretty empty and we sat at the bar because there were great walls of tv's to see the games. They had some specials going for the tournament so we ordered an IPA and a Bud Light for $4 and $3 respectively. It was a little strange they offered it for a 10-oz. pour because who drinks 10-oz of bud light and breweries usually only do this for high ABV beers and the IPA was not one of those. I found it a bit cheap because it's the equivalent of $5-6 for a pint which is no "special." We got an order of the Jerk Wings ($9) and they were delicious but only 6 to an order, not many to share for 3 men. All of us ordered the Short Rib Burger ($9) medium rare. I thought it was going to be a blend of short rib in the beef patty but it actually came with a short rib on top of the burger. The burger was excellent and cooked right, and the short rib added a lot of flavor. Overall, very nice/new spot, I think they just need to work on their beer selection and "specials." Just move the prices to $4-5 for a pint because nobody comes for 10 ounces of beer! The prices of the burger ($9) vs. the wings didn't make sense either, but I'm sure they will figure it all out at some point.

Scott A.

Yelp
We had reservations. Waited at the bar and had drinks. Bartender was quick to service us. When we were seated at the table, we were immediately approached by wait staff. The four of us had different meals. I had glazed salmon on cedar. The others had classic cheeseburger, free range chicken, and black & blue burger. The food arrived in a timely manner. Everyone enjoyed their dish. Managers appeared frequently to check on us to see how things were going. I'd recommend this place.
