MICHELIN Guide Budapest: a guide to Hungarian cuisine, and where to find the best of it
"you can buy it at any local grocery store, of course, but it’s fun to visit the local market halls in Budapest, such as the Great Market Hall in the city center, located on the Pest side of the Liberty Bridge." - Le Guide MICHELIN
Originally called Franz Joseph Bridge. You can enjoy a beautiful Sunrise or Sunset here. Many people go and sit on the Bridge to enjoy a beautiful sunset. You will also find the Mini bronze sculpture of Emperor Franz Joseph I, created by the Ukrainian-Hungarian artist Mihály Kolodko.

This would have to be my favourite of all the bridges in Budapest. Bright and vibrant in colour, great position and nice views. At one end you have Central Market and Vàci Street and on the other end the Citadel. I think it’s now the only bridge where you may spot the older trams in the city centre.

Liberty Bridge — the name itself says it all. Majestic and beautiful, it feels like a symbol of Budapest’s spirit — strong, proud, and free. Standing on it, you can feel the city breathing with history and hope.

Great place to sit with friends and talk! Great views, beutiful construction and the metal doesn't get hot in the sun because of the bright color. The metro station and the market are right next to it. :)

Beautiful steel bridge, smaller than the one in Sydney harbour, but more classic design. Many love locks along the bridge side.

Another beautiful bridge in Budapest. Visit Central Market hall and stroll across the bridge to explore. If you don’t fancy the wall then you can get the tram 🚃. I personally recommend walking for the best experience.

The Liberty Bridge is one of the notable bridges across the Danube river connecting the two parts of the city. It is the shortest bridge in the city centre and located near to the famous landmarks such as central marketplace and Gellért hill.
