4 Best Day Trips from Philadelphia | Condé Nast Traveler

"This isn't your plastic tray, by-the-slice kind of pizzeria . Instead, Liberty Hall Pizza has that trademark, upcycled look, complete with garage doors, exposed brick, and zinc-topped tables with bare wood chairs. It’s way off the tourist path and a good 15-minute walk from the main town, so take the car—there's plenty of parking here, without the meter-induced headache of Bridge Street. Inside the dinner-only joint, you'll find a buzzy crowd of locals and devotees chowing down on thin-crust, Neapolitan-style pizza. You can go red sauce or white, with five to eight varieties of each ranging from classic Margherita to carbonara—but mushroom is an absolute must." - Nancy DePalma

Very good pizza and excellent salads! Place gets pretty packed without notice! We ordered the buffala mix pizza and the arugula pizza with prosciutto on it. Pizza was nice but I wish the dough was a bit more crispy. It looked like it was cooked well but when you bite into it it’s kinda chewy. Ingredients were very good though! Seriously though don’t skip on the salad! It’s the best part! I will definitely come back here especially since they have that other worldly ice cream shop right next door.

Liberty Hall is a fun place for unique handcrafted pizza and salads. It’s a nice place for family’s or groups to enjoy a casual night out. This popular eatery enjoys a devoted following, and there is generally always a short waitlist. The food is good, with the prices a bit higher than the portions would suggest. Service can be random, and inconsistent depending on the server your table draws.

Pizza was very good, is the Napoletana style! Very surprised even the pizza Shef was not Italian! Overall the pozza is a 8-1/2 over 10 something about the dough and the crost was not 100% . But I'll recommended this Pizzeria for a Italian way of degustation!

The different pizza toppings are delicious and very fun to try. I love that they have the Mexican Street corn pizza more often. I wish the pizza dough was crispier or sturdier. Every time I went to pick up a slice I would loose half my toppings and have to fork and knife the pizza.

Nice and cosy place. Salads were really tasty and good size. Pizza is not greasy and has a different taste than a normal electric/gas oven pizza. Friendly staff.

This place is hipster as f#$& but I loved it the pizza was amazing I also tried two different salads and loved them and the Hipster waiter was really nice so I have nothing to complain about five stars all around. Edit: Came a second time and the pizza was both burnt and undercooked. The service and ingredients are still excellent.

Great pizza. A tad pricey for the size. Pizza may serve 2 adults if they're both hungry, however this is probably the 2nd best pizza we've ever had.
