I can never say enough about this “family owned” bakery, the team, the cleanliness, the amazing customer service, and the super fresh products. Look no further, this is the best bakery in the area, with all the variety of fresh goods. Thank you for being there for the community, and Good job everyone 🙏🏻👏🏻

Went here today, haven't been here in years. Everything is the same, it's like walking backwards in time. Their pizzas are exactly how I remember them from when my Nana would get them for weekend sleepovers!! I actually cried when I took my first bite today. THANK YOU LIBORIO for many many years of great pizzas! 🇮🇹 ♥️

Google
We have been coming here for years. Great bakery, but lately in the last 6 months we have noticed the pizza bread is kinda soggy in the middle. Used to be $8 and now $14..kinda a lot, but isn’t everything?

Their truck driver is insane! Driving on Irving Park Rd approaching Ruby Street this morning. I tried to change lanes way ahead of him and he kept speeding up. When I managed to change lanes he drove up beside me honked and almost side swiped me. Get a new driver!

Charming old world bakery with fantastic crusty 🍞 bread, fresh baked and delicious. Stop in and get some long Italian bread loaves, and some round crusty village style loaves... Real nice chewy crust, and super soft and fluffy inside, just like Grandma used to buy! I picked up a really nice loaf of regular white bakery bread, which I sliced nice and thick and had with some fresh butter and jam! While you're there, have a nice chat with the sales ladies!

This is the best bakery hands down in all of Chicagoland. Great family business that bakes the bread we know. I get the two pound loaf sliced every Sunday. Their pizza bread is one of the best around and the sausage bread is a must try!

Very nice people, and I won’t eat any other rolls for my sandwiches now. You can’t beat them.

Yelp
Liborio was my "first job" in high school. I can't even say it was actually my first job because I don't even think I was there for longer than a month. I have been noticing that every few months they are constantly hiring. I thought it was time to share my experience there. Liborio's did not pay me for my training, never gave me a consistent schedule for hours, and could never keep track of my phone number. I can't even count how many times I had to repeat my cell phone number to Mary and her mom (owners). One day, two or three hours into my shift, Mary drove me home and told me she would call me with the schedule for the next week. Obviously she didn't, as they could never keep track of my phone number. Nothing was ever written down. The communication was awful. I think the worst thing was witnessing Mary's mom pick up cookies that fell on the floor and put them back on the shelf for customers to purchase. The floor was not clean by any means so this was truly disgusting to witness. My parents were loyal customers for years to this bakery, but after all of this nonsense, we never went back. There are so many other fantastic bakeries around the Chicagoland area that serve quality bread and cookies.

Yelp
If you are looking for old world Italian bread - baked the way it should be - go no further - this is the only place to go! Breads are BUONISSIMO (that's delicious in Italian) Crispy crust, soft middle -- HEAVEN!! They make delicious cookies, focaccias and pizza too! Prices are beyond reasonable -- CASH ONLY!! 5 stars

Yelp
Best Italian and French bread. We drive in from the Illinois/Wisconsin border to purchase the real deal bread Liborio offers. Can't have a real meatball, beef or sausage sandwich without real bread from the old neighborhood. The stuff they sell up in the boonies is spongy, gummy and tasteless. Liborio's is perfect in every aspect. Will not disintegrate in your hand.

Yelp
a bit pricey, but no other French bread goes into my Italian subs. undeniably the most superior French bread in the Chicagoland area.

Yelp
Have been going to LIBORIO for yrs. have been noticing a change in their PIZZA lately. The change has not been good, had a pizza from LIBORIO week of June 9th not so good. Pizza has gotten very small, very little cheese, very doughy, less sauce on the Pizza & nearly $10 for the Pizza. It's a shame Liborio let that happen to once a great product. Will be the last time I purchase there Pizza.

Yelp
Oh the bread, the bread the bread. Thou art the bane of my low-carb diet. MAN can they make a loaf of proper Italian bread, all three foot long and crusty in a paper sleeve. They are on the north side of Grand, just east of Cumberland/Thatcher/1st Ave.

Yelp
to my family, liborio makes the best testing flavorful bread i've tasted in my life time (and i've just celebrated, my 90th birthday this march 2020)' i also love the wheat fresine they're nice and crispy and lalt a long time without molding nor going stale. for the best italian stile bread products there is none better in .river grove illinois and its surrountings of river grove ill. signed, guido f. Bensenville il.

Yelp
This place is the best! My family has been going here for buns and bread for family parties for years. Good prices, nice staff. Order ahead. Try the pizza bread, better than focaccia!

Yelp
This place has been a bakery staple in my family and friends lives since before I could remember! The bread is unforgettable and the pizza bread makes an appearance at all gatherings I attend. With no surprise it's always a hit. I travel for work and it's been six months since I had the experience. I was at an Independance day party and a friends walks through the door with an armful of goodies from Liborio's, made my holiday!

Yelp
Been coming here since a kid. Pizza and cookies are awesome.

Yelp
Had bought some of their rolls at Caputo's so decided to stop when I was in River Grove working. Girl at the counter was very nice and helpful. Bought some of the pizza bread. Forgot to ask how to cook it so I called later. They could not have been nicer. Pizza bread was delicious with a crispy crust. Wish they were closer.
