Red Rock’s Mexican Restaurant Closes Soon - Eater Vegas

"Libre Mexican Cantina, the Mexican restaurant at Red Rock Resort, closes after a two-year run at the resort. Station Casinos says the restaurant from Clique Hospitality shutters at the end of June to make way for an exciting new restaurant concept that will soon further complement our wide array of food and beverage experiences at the property." - Susan Stapleton

They have amazing happy hour deals and Thursday nights is great for a cheap draft. We weren’t impressed with our waitress. Or any of the service for that matter. And my friend and I are both extremely patient. However, there was one bartender that made mixed drinks who was energetic and fun.

We have been here twice now. Service had been really good both times, good is fresh and delicious, and the drinks are on point. Monday taco deals and thirsty Thursday bottomless margaritas seem to be the way to go, but always find myself there on the weekend. Place is very clean, and management is visible and helping there people. Water glasses never run empty. Their taco sampler is great and chicken pastor is tasty too.

This place is amazing! Customer service is impeccable. . . From the host to the server to the manager. .. the night ran like a well piked machine. I use to work in service. I know. I came from out of town and they raised the bar for restaurant customer service. We've been here twice in 3 days. Once for 1$tacos Another for all you can eat magargaritas tacos and tequila. . .(25$ each) Amazing. . I'm from Atlanta let's get it. ...

We never even got to taste the food. The service was awful. We were seated without menus and ignored by the staff. When a server finally brought us menus he didn't even bother to take our drink order. The manager filled our water glasses and told us some chips and salsa was coming, but still didn't take our drink order. Our server ended up assisting a table who came in at least 15 minutes after us. At that point...we walked out and no one seemed to notice or care.

The wait staff was great. A bit on the pricy side for Mexican food but it was really good. The cooks were more than accommodating. Main issue was the generic salsa, they need to step it up and maybe serve some fresh made tortillas too Everything else was really good.

The food was delicious. I had the shrimp and steak fajitas, taquitos, and a dessert all three items were delicious. The margaritas are well worth it. The service was great, the manager even came out and checked on us twice.
