Ate here several times during our stay. Had a bit of a wait the day it rained, but food is great as is the service. First visit the burger was raw, but they quickly remedied it. The burgers were good, citrus salad was really good, as was the ceviche and the lemon chicken.

The food is very high quality. We tried the coconut shrimp and the ceviche. The drinks are also great. Our server Michael provided great service! You do not have to stay at the resort to eat here. Highly recommend to check this restaurant out.

We came here on a Monday evening because our kids wanted the bottomless pasta which was $9.99. This is offered Monday-Thursday. The pasta options were spaghetti, penne, and cavatappi. Sauce options were marinara, alfredo, and pesto. If you wanted to add any protein it would be at least another $9.99 per order depending on the protein selected. After our first round, we were told they did not have anymore penne...so much for being unlimited/bottomless. Our waitress did not come around much and it was a slow evening so you'd expect more availability. When they did come around it would take about another 15-20 minutes to get our next pasta. Our drinks were refilled once but only because we asked. I liked the place, but don't expect quick attentive service.

I really enjoyed this place! The bartenders Emily and John really are what made it a worthwhile experience! Drinks were awesome, food was awesome, but there is one issue. We sat at the bar and they kept getting orders for frozen margaritas…. That blender sounds like an AIR RAID siren!! It is so loud! I could barely hear the person I was with when they were making margaritas! Other than that- great experience, but you’d think a place named after the margarita would want proper equipment for their employees and so that the guests who come in for a meal and drink can actually hear the people they’re with! Do better!

We had a big family group and ate here for breakfast. The food was good, prices were reasonable for a resort, but the service we received from our server Holli was impeccable! She was so kind and attentive and even made our breakfast fun! The vibe is pretty chill in this restaurant. I would definitely recommend License to Chill for breakfast when staying at Margaritaville, Lake Conroe in Montgomery, TX!

I understand everything cost more at a resort but the food at this place was extremely expensive and the quality and taste were not worth the price. I had ordered honey lemon chicken and it came with a small piece of chicken breast and a tiny leg which I don’t think it was even from a regular size chicken. It only cane with a few pieces of sweet potatoes and carrots. The chicken was dry and kind of blend. The server did not refill the water not once. Everything on the menu was at least $20 bucks. I really regret just dining in at this restaurant in this resort. I don’t recommend it. I recommend you drive out 10 minutes to a restaurant near by the resort to save money and getting a much better food that will cost you much less.

Caity was very accommodating and a rock star!! Regan was one of the best servers we have had in a long time!!! She deserves recognition and praise! Not only did she give great service but she remained a ray of sunshine spreading kindness and smiles through out a stressful dinner service on 4 of July.

Food was great and the location is perfect. Our waitress Madalyn was awesome super friendly and helped us pick a really good drink while we were figuring out what to eat. The whole place has a fun, laidback vibe but still feels upscale. We’ll definitely be coming back.
