The 19 Best Mexican Restaurants In Seattle

"The next time anybody tells you Seattle doesn’t have good burritos, blindfold them, put them in the backseat of your car, and take them to Chilolos in Georgetown. The best thing that Chilolos serves is their grilled burrito with carnitas, which forces us to cancel our plans to eat here before they close at 6pm. In each bite, you’ll get some red rice, tender chunks of carnitas, pinto beans, and the ideal amount of sour cream and pico de gallo—all of the elements perfectly distributed like a parent packing Christmas stockings for twin toddlers. Your friends will thank you for the introduction—after forgiving you for blindfolding them." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

The Best Burritos In Seattle

"Chilolos in Georgetown makes our favorite burrito in town because all of the elements are layered flawlessly, from fluffy rice and pinto beans to crisp romaine and outstanding carnitas. Then, they grill the whole thing to melt the cheese, seal the toppings in, and toast that tortilla to its full potential." - aimee rizzo

Where To Go When You’re Hungover And Want To Die

"Burritos were practically invented for hangovers. And you can find one of the best in the city at Chilolos, a calm little taqueria in Georgetown. Get some of their delicious carnitas stuffed in a grilled flour tortilla and make sure to add extra cheese and guacamole." - aimee rizzo

Google
Good spot, across my journey to find the good spots in seattle I came across this little tacos trailer. I got Al pastor, Asada, and Chorizo, all the tacos where delicious and definitely worth the price

Google
My favorite is the chicken tacos but I’ve tried every meat choice they have … they do tinga style tacos not the grilled chicken which I personally like! Everything is good . From the sopas to tacos to burritos . The salsas are always fresh and delicious. You won’t be disappointed ! The only things is I wish they had rice and beans LOL.. love this place !

Google
Great lunch spot with good prices. $10 for 3 tasty carne asada tacos with all the fixings, including two really nice sauces. The person behind the counter gave me a free chicken tamale to try! Also quite nice.

Google
FINALLY actual food like down south. No steamed, grey asada. No canned salsa redistributed. Look at the char on the meat! It was marinated and then grilled at a high temp. This is so rare in Seattle. The smoke flavor in the chipotle salsa is incredible. Al pastor has pineapple and has been seared like the other meats. Amazing job guys! Finally someone cares enough and spends a little bit more energy to do Mexican food right.

Google
My favorite place to get tacos and tamales in Seattle. Love the al pastor and asada. Their salsa is amazing!

Google
Best veggie burrito in Seattle. All the vegetarian options are delicious and substantial. You feel like you’re actually getting a meal and not an obligatory afterthought. The sautéed veggies and amazing and go well with their rice and beans. Available with or without cheese. The avocado hot sauce has good flavor and just the right amount of heat. My friends and coworkers always love the meat options as well. The service is always fast and friendly. It makes you love supporting such wonderful people. Everything is reasonably priced, making this a go to for everyone at my work.

Google
had a birria taco and a cocinita pibil taco. Fantastic flavor, the green salsa on top is so good, and to top it off, the couple running the truck are friendly and welcoming.

Google
When I try different places, I always look for places that have good reviews. That's usually the start. But really, when I find something that has great flavor, a good size serving and all the delicious sauces to go with it, it's something that I have to let people know about. I ordered a burrito today with half carne asada and half cochinita pibil and it was delicious. What made this burrito stand out from others is the rice, beans and other fillings had great flavor on there own. No need for any sauces! Better give this taco truck a try!

Yelp
4 El Pastor tacos: perfect lunch at Georgetown Brewery! Quick and delicious, I could eat more but I'd need to work out more!

Yelp
I just got back last week from Mexico, and this place makes better tacos than many of the tacos I had on my trip. Definitely some of the best tacos in Seattle. The balance of flavors (spice, sour, sweet, char, etc.) is perfect here. The sauces are incredible, too. They have lots of veggie options for vegetarians (and they're fantastically grilled vegetables), are quick to make your dishes, and they're super nice and friendly.

Yelp
Yum yum yum! Highly recommend making a stop at Lico's TACOS to get some tasty pastor, birria, asada, chicken, and chorizo tacos. Service is friendly and the food is fresh and made with soul.

Yelp
Solid tacos! I had birria, pibil, chorizo, and al pastor. The meat was great, a good amount, and the salsas were really good. Two thumbs up from a Mexican from SoCal.

Yelp
Went to the food truck in front of Seapine Brewing Company in SODO. Ordered an Al Pastor taco and it was brought to my table within a few minutes. The staff were friendly, the taco was very delicious, and the price was a bargain. Wish I had time to eat 5 more of these tacos, but I was in a rush to go to the airport. I will definitely come back and order more next time I visit Seattle.

Yelp
I always pass by this lil food cart on my way to Costco from Beacon Hill. I had their al pastor burrito and with some horchata and I loved it! The folks here are fast and super nice.

Yelp
This place is straight fire, for the birria mulita n it was FIRE! Definitely coming out of my way to eat their food again

Yelp
The food is very good, the sauces and garnish perfect. We had (2) ea. birria tacos with horchata to drink and at $4 the drinks were the most expensive of all. My tab was $17 before the tip. Go here instead of any other fast food, the food is made from scratch, way better tasting, friendly service and your $ won't be going to the corporations

Yelp
If I could give them 10 stars I would !! ALL of their food is delicious !! They are just down the street from my office and someone from our office, is pretty much at this taco truck every day. Love the owners to, soooo friendly !!! We have used them a lot for happy hour events and Freddy even delivers the taco's to our office. Everyday is taco Tuesday around here !!

Yelp
Just amazing best best service , we come back here anytime we in downtown never disappointed.

Jacob W.

Yelp
It's the best tacos in Seattle food truck and all, a honest to goodness hidden gem! It's a place you will crave after eating once a culinary experience of a lifetime!

Wendy S.

Yelp
Fantastic street tacos! Surprised this little place doesn't have more reviews. Check them out, you won't be disappointed - will definitely be back.
