The 16 Best Restaurants On Capri - Capri - The Infatuation

"Lido del Faro is a beach club right underneath the Punta Carena lighthouse at Capri’s southwestern end, with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a saltwater pool perched right above sea level. After spending the day doing absolutely nothing, head to the restaurant for a long lunch of pasta dishes like mezzi paccheri with puréed green peppers and octopus ragù, or just order a panino straight to your beach chair. While slightly more difficult to reach, it’s considerably less chaotic than other options on the island." - gillian mcguire

Lido del Faro is a stunning, picturesque spot perfect for a scenic swim or a refreshing jump into the clear, turquoise water from the surrounding rocks. This isn't a sandy beach, so don't expect to dig your toes into the shore. Instead, the charm here lies in its dramatic cliffs and natural rock formations. There are a few lounge chairs up top if you're looking for a more comfortable place to relax, but many visitors simply lay towels directly on the sun-warmed rocks to soak up the sun. The vibe is low-key and natural, with the rocky setting offering a unique way to enjoy the sea away from the typical crowded beach scenes. If you're looking for a serene swim, beautiful views, and a more adventurous approach to sunbathing and water access, Lido del Faro delivers. We were lucky to experience the most surreal sunset I've ever seen. Just bring water shoes if you're sensitive to rough terrain.

What could have been a terrible beach club day was actually a day to remember 🏝️ The weather started with a Torrential rainstorm ☔️. However, the ☀️ peaked through at about 4pm. The staff made the most of the day and actually turned our frowns upside down. The rough sea was not a problem as their seawater pool proved to be the perfect seat to view the sea below and the best Mother Nature had to offer. PS: the deserts are also to die for. Will definitely recommend going forward

Had our wedding at Lido Del Faro several weeks ago and from start to finish, the staff, service, food, was perfect. Tony, Gianmaria, Nello, and everyone else took exceptional care of us at our guests, taking action on every little or big ask immediately without question. And as a difficult bride who pushed the bus leave time back multiple times because I didn’t want the night to end, they took it in stride. The food was INCREDIBLE, and having dined at Lido Del Faro several times apart from the wedding I can confidently say it is always this way. As far as I’m concerned, wedding or not this is the best beach club on Capri. 5 million stars. If you’re even a little bit thinking about booking a day, or a wedding here, do it. Thank you so much!!! And again thank you TONY!!💓💓💓💓

This was the highlight of the Capri visit. It will cost you somewhere around 100-150 euro depends on where you would like to spend your time here. With that entry cost, they give you 60 euro credit to be used in their restaurant and towels, sunbed and beach umbrella for each person. The place is beautiful. Well maintained. They have clean restroom, outdoor shower, changing room and lockers, and salt water pool. They do have some tubes available for ocean swimming as well. All the staffs were extremely friendly. And the food was surprisingly good. Price on the menu was very reasonable and was very tasty and fresh. While you are sunbathing, staffs walk around and ask you if you need anything. You can order drinks to your sunbed and enjoy the environment. It was such a great experience!

We visited the Lido Del Faro Beach Club. We had a nice view of the sea and close to the pool. Having a pool was very beneficial since we gathered there with our drinks and had many laughs. The restaurant was very good. I had fettuccine with eggplant and it was delicious. We had a great time !!

Got here by taxi from Capri port - €40 Nice place. Friendly and helpful staff will make what drink and food you want. Pool is warm (salt water). Sea is just below and there are steps down. Staff also arranged a taxi back to the port - €50

Nice setting on the south side of the island just up from Anacapri. Staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. It cost around €100-125 per person and you get a comfy sunbed for the day plus towel and then €60 in spending money to use on drinks/food. Plus access to a private pool and private entrance to the sea. I've given it 2 stars as for what it is it is quite expensive ans is also lacking vibes tbh, it would be nice for it to have music given it's a "beach club" but music is only played in the restaurant. So unfortunately for me it was not worth the money and there are other places your money will be better spent on.

Google
The best Beach Club on Capri without doubt. With charming attentive staff, amazing food, extraordinary views, perfect crystal clear sea to swim in plus a pool who wouldn’t want to spend a day lounging on their very comfortable day beds? We are in heaven. It is worth every euro. Don’t hesitate to book.

Yelp
We came just for lunch but loved the beach club itself! Felt a little more local than the others, has a pool and a snack bar in addition to restaurant. For lunch we had vegetable risotto balls, spaghetti with clams and pasta nerano and we loved everything. I was surprised as it ended up being one of my favorite meals of our trip and one of the best spaghetti and clam sauces that I've ever had. Drinks were great as well, we loved the orange margarita!

Yelp
This was our favorite beach club in Capri. Yes it's 70 euros to get in but 40 of that goes towards the restaurant or anything you want at your sunbed. We thought service was fantastic and the lunch was delicious. If you stay late enough you can also catch the sunset. Highly recommend !

Yelp
Food was good. I've had better but I did like what I had. Mixed grilled seafood. And my friends had good food too. Ravioli and shrimp tempura. We're good. Service is awful. Racist in a way. Not sure why. Salad cane with the main course. Other tables cane after us and they had their food and we didn't have the salad yet. Always long faces. Not one smile u get from them starting from the host. They were just setting up tables and we asked to set by the window they just said "NOT possible ". The only helping one the young waiter. Food 9 out of 10. Service and hospitality zero.

Yelp
You get some credit to go to the restaurant but there are no vegan options.. the main waiter scoffed countless times before responding and mumbling vegano under his breath when I asked what vegan option they could possibly make and only offered spaghetti as the only option so when they asked me what I wanted of course you have to pick that only option. if you need another towel it's 5 euros extra, whoever runs the restaurant made us feel like he didn't want us there and was very unpleasant.. made my sister turn around and get clothes when it's literally a beach club! He also took us to the only table that was dirty and just put the mat over the left over grime. it might be well known but was disappointed with the service and in general overall. Racist vibes

Yelp
We rented scooters from Oasi Scooter and without any planning found ourselves at the other end of the island in AnaCapri. At the end of the road, at the bottom of the hill is a great restaurant - Lido Del Faro. Service is slow but this is Europe. Their food is the best and worth the wait. I had the grilled pulpo on a corncake - octopus on a corn cake. Good flavor and chewy. My BF had the seafood ravioli with squash blossoms, langustino and small shrimp- super good. His son had the burrata cheese stuffed ravioli with cherry tomatoes. Our only regret was we didn't bring swimsuits as there's a great place to go swimming about 50 yards away. The resort/restaurant also had a swimming pool with lounge chairs. They had changing rooms and cabanas you could rent for the day. Prices varied - you could rent a chair or a chair and cabana or the works for about 40 euro? (don't quote me on that). Alternatively you could swim for free in the ocean and there is a very small limited flat cemented area you could lie down on afterwards.
