I cannot say enough good things about Life's Sweet and Melissa's incredible cakes. Our family has ordered a number of custom birthday cakes over the years, and every one has been a work of art as well as shut-the-front-door, stop-the-presses delicious. Those two factors alone would justify a five-star review, but Melissa is also responsive, professional, and a dream to work with. If you're looking for someone to make your next celebration extra special, Life's Sweet will take it to the next level!

What a gem! This friendly and adorable neighborhood family-owned bakery and cafe has excellent food and baked goods for affordable prices. For breakfast and lunch - you really get a lot for the price, and the speciality drinks are amazing (highly recommend the mangonada). While I've only done takeout, the inside is family-friendly, cozy, light, and casual - very inviting. This is my new go-to for brunch takeout and special-occasion baked good gifts - just check out their hot cocoa bombs and beautifully decorated cookies.

Choosing life's sweet was the best decision I've ever made on a party planning . I was wondering how a cake boutique can have 4.9 Star ratings and wanted to give it a try for my LO's ½ bday. They were very friendly and they were flexible with all the customization I wanted matching my theme. The "half cake" in underwater theme and the cupcakes matching it was a huge success and tasted heavenly. I could customize the color, layering and the flavor. It was all very freshly made and of the best quality. Thank you so much!

You're kidding. We got two custom cakes from this place in the past few months. AMAZING. I literally ordered so last minute, like they had a week to push our latest cake out quickly, and they were so flexible and so great with communication. Plus, the flavor is amazing. I tried the cheesecake with fruit on it and it is DELICIOUS! Rich and creamy without being too sweet or too anything. You can really enjoy it without feeling like you just ate 5 pounds of cheesecake in one slice. If you've got a craving for something sweet, do yourself a favor and stop in for a treat!

I asked Melissa to create a cake based on very specific instructions from my two and a half year old: pink, with sprinkles, and Bluey on top. And! I’m a single mom and the cake was really just for a very small group of people, so I needed Melissa to create something small but a cake, not cupcakes. It was perfect. My kid was delighted, and the cake was delicious. We will order from Life is Sweet again and again.

Our wedding cake was BEAUTIFUL and SCRUMPTIOUS! It looked and tasted EXACTLY like I wanted it to! It was minimally decorated with a beautiful, rustic look. I just loved the buttery cake and the fluffy icing. It was rich and moist and buttery and not too sweet! Yum yum yum! We have about 12 slices in the freezer and I eat one every day. Thank you Melissa for your professionalism throughout the entire process and for your creativity. The cake was truly a highlight for everyone!
