The 15 Best Restaurants In Queen Village

"When the seasons change, one of the first things you want is a bowl of hot soup to warm you up. Neighborhood Ramen, one of the best ramen spots in the city, has you covered. When you stop by the cozy noodle shop, try the shoyu ramen. Each bowl has a couple of juicy pieces of pork chashu seeping with flavorful chicken broth, house shoyu, and toppings like scallion, menma, and ajitama. It’s a comforting blend that will make you feel almost grateful that the temperature dropped below 50 degrees. Almost.  " - candis mclean, alison kessler

Philadelphia’s Best New Restaurants of 2019

"Finding good ramen in Philly isn’t hard - you could order delivery on a lazy Sunday from most ramen shops and be pleased with the result. But Neighborhood Ramen is the only one we’d leave the comfort of our couch and drive across the city for. The incredible bowls of noodles that come out of the kitchen are worth every second that you spend putting on presentable clothes and getting there. And all of their ramen options, which include a classic shoyu with homemade chicken broth and a great vegetarian Yasai with mushrooms and fermented bamboo shoots, seem to keep getting better every time we try them." - sydney mcelwee

From the silent traveler to all of you, welcome it's been a while but I am back with more reviews and more things to talk about this is one of the latest things that I just came across in philadelphia. This small but very full of life restaurant has a variety that you cannot miss very unique and full of taste from the homelands of Japan. Definitely stop in your greeted with a smile and with a variety of ways to order. Take advantage of all the great things they have to offer the sushi donut is one that blew my mind and the ramen is really good. Just from the pictures alone is just a small piece of what they have to offer definitely take the time out it has a great atmosphere it's around a really good area take a load off great for lunch and it's really nice for the evening time great for a couples date and even a small family gathering.

Delicious!! Had the sushi burrito. Philly style with salmon. Absolutely perfect, better than all the other sushi I’ve had lately. The sakura rose milk tea was also perfect, super smooth and not too sweet, definitely a treat. Thanks guys, service and vibe was also very nice. Cheers

My first time having authentic ramen, it this place did not disappoint! The only downside is the lack of space, but the food was well worth it. The dumplings (not pictured here) and the veggie spring rolls were a great start. The chicken ramen was mouth watering. I’ve never had chicken that tender before. And to finish it off, the dragon fruit lemon was refreshing. Will definitely visit again in the warmer months.

Very good food and fast service. We got a super poke bowl- it had a lot of meat in it! And tankatsu ramen, that was very tasty.

Google
Amazing food, better service. Doordash couldn't find a driver for my order, and the amazing staff stayed open late while we drove over to pick up our food. Earned a customer for life!

I visited on Monday after the snowstorm and the walk through the dirty flush was worth it! I came with a friend and though we were a little confused at first on the dining experience, we both left very happy. We split the crispy fried brussel sprouts and out of curiosity, the shrimp and crab corndog. Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious, corndog we both had mixed feelings on at first but after having it as leftovers it was surprising how much I ended up liking it. Perhaps it had something to do with the oil cooling down? My friend ordered their chicken ramen, I opted for building my own as a picky pescatarian--the wait time wasn't too long and it was pleasant on cold day. We both thought the quality of the ramen is one of the best we've had, springy chewy noodles, delicious broth, great flavorful toppings (I'd recommend the shiitake mushrooms, they're worth the extra dollar for the sweetness they bring.) Their dragonfruit lemonade was refreshing, though if you're a sugar fiend like me, you'll find it's nothing tooth rotting but nothing too tart or sour. Casual environment (pay before you eat,) fun painted walls, super kind staff. Couldn't recommend it enough! Super diverse menu, isn't afraid to try out wacky trendy concepts. :)

Yelp
Ambiance: (5/5) Love the decor. Good seating for Philly! Price: (4/5) Prices are average for the area. Food: (5/5) The sushi burrito is something I haven't seen anywhere. It's really just an in cut sushi, but the amount you get for the price is amazing. I got one with crab and shrimp and it was great. The seaweed was crispy too. I got the black tea with mango and it was great! Not too sweet. It had mango chunks in the shape of stars. Service: (5/5) Food came out quick and staff is nice.

Yelp
We were only in town for a day and a half but we went here twice. I loved the angry Zuko! Not fancy but tasty!

Yelp
I really want to give this place 1 star, but the customer service and crab rangoon really saved it! I was desperately craving ramen and spent all day looking up reviews, restaurants, and photos for the best spot. Due to me going on a Monday, there were a few places that I wanted to try that were not this spot in particular that did look much better, but they were not opened until Tuesday. I went with really basic ramen, we got the chicken ramen and the Popeye's favorite ramen, which is exactly like the chicken ramen, but includes spinach. Although the ramen looks amazing, it lacked flavor extremely. The ramen broth tasted just as a perfectly salted ramen, rather than a flavorful, tasty bowl of ramen. The saltiness was not overbearing which allowed it to be edible, but I really wish there was some flavor, taste or depth to the ramen, other than salty broth. The chicken was actually pretty tasty and slightly sweet and when eaten with the noodles, added some slight flavor the ramen was awfully missing. I'm disappointed that I tired this place and will not be going back If you're looking for a good bowl of ramen, unfortunately this place is not it.

Yelp
In my opinion one of the best Ramen restaurants in the city of Philadelphia. The Spicy Miso ramen is my personal favorite. Service is friendly, order at counter and find yourself a seat. In a small Japanese city styled little restaurant. Not an intimate date night spot, but a fun casual eatery with some of the most flavorful ramen!

Yelp
I ordered the classic ramen for deliver and it was good. Not amazing but it did the job. The egg was hard boiled and over cooked for ramen and the broth was VERY oily. Also other ramen shops send more broth than this one did. Small things made it not five star worthy but if you're in a pinch, it's not too pricy and it's ramen Cheers.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere. I had the chicken ramen. Lots of flavor in the broth and the servers are helpful and nice. Love a good ramen spot and this is one of them

Yelp
I've had ramen at their location in Atlanta and the Philly location doesn't disappoint. The sushi donut was delicious and the Tan Tan ramen is a must-try. Just the right amount of heat with plenty of flavor! The food was delicious and they were bumping some solid tracks in their restaurant.
