Excellent beer selection both in coolers and on tap. Bartender/Cashiers know their beer too. The inside space is a little tight only bc its packed with good brews. They carry some every day craft brews plus a lot of good canned local stuff and top it off with some top rated beers from all around. The outdoor space is epic with generous room. Some is covered from rain but most is best in good weather. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

My wife wanted a prosecco keg for our pool bars kegerator. I checked all over Wilmington with no luck or advice. I checked in with Lighthouse and spoke with Dimitri. BOOM!!! Problem solved! Dimitri explained everything and took me through the process. Now, instead of hitting Costco or total wine every week, we just walk out to the bar, pull the tap and enjoy prosecco by the pool!! Thanks Dimitri!! We also live hanging out at lighthouse and chillin!

Absolutely one of the coolest places I think I've ever see. Pretty amazing I think you could spend every day drinking one beer A-day and still never drink the same beer in 2 years. Just another really cool Place to shop in Carolina that we do not have in Arizona. Yall be good now, ya hear.👍

Lighthouse Beer & Wine is one of our go-to spots in Wilmington for a great selection of craft beer and wine. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help with recommendations! We love hanging out in their outdoor spot when the weather is nice.

It's been 7 years since I reviewed this place!!?? Shameful. We love this place and go here often. It's the perfect place to stop for a drink and enjoy the wonderful weather we have here! The people are also super nice. Their prices of bottles of wine are fair, too! Also, they serve beer in glasses now. Glasses of wine are 4 ounce or 8 ounce pours, which I always appreciate a smaller pour.

So fun! This is a really cute little bottle shop with good prices and an outdoor seating area to enjoy your drinks. We bought a bottle of wine and were able to leave it at the counter inside and bring glasses to the outdoor seating area. The best part is you don't have to finish the bottle, you can just take it home with you when you're done. Counter service was friendly and helpful, outdoor area was super cute, and most importantly, company was fantastic!!

Lighthouse beer and wine has been one of my favorite spots since college (10 years+ ago) and still manages to be a great place to hangout! They have serval coolers/beer fridges inside with different bottles and can beers + many shelves of wine bottles. They even have draft beers and wine! They don't have indoor seating but not to worry cause they have the cutest little courtyard that has both Sun and shade options! We love this place! Kid and dog friendly which is a major plus! Can't wait to go back

If you want to go somewhere to sip a beer when the weather is good, and you're near Wrightsville beach, Lighthouse is a go-to spot. Their selection is really great (for both beer and wine!) and the staff is always super friendly. Their outside seating is really nice, they have a covered porch area, benches and a bunch of Adirondack chairs. The only downside is the parking in this area can sometimes be a squeeze if the neighboring business are busy-- but that's shouldn't stop you from grabbing a quick pint and hanging out for a bit.

My Mr and I wanted to grab a couple of local North Carolina beers before we headed home to Ohio. He found this place on Yelp. Claims they have unique wines and craft beers on stock. And they nailed it. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we needed any help. Of course we took that offer. Very patient with giving us ideas and super friendly. They had so many craft beer selections that it was hard to choose. The inside was not huge but was very organized and stocked. Im not done... they even had some beers on tap which we had to take advantage. We got a couple of stouts (North Carolina) and enjoyed them on the patio. Their patio is so laid back and cozy (comfortable beach chairs) I highly recommend you sip some beer and enjoy it there! It was such a great experience and I highly recommend you check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I love this adorable place. The customer service is beyond stellar. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. It's small and inviting with a huge selection of beers, hard seltzer's and wines. They also serve beer there and have a small beer garden. I recommend this place if you are looking for a something different and for a "beachy" feel.

We used to come here about 5 years ago to pick up our Guinness kegs from Jason and well we moved due to the military. Our kegs were always in and ready for pickup . This place is simply awesome and we will continue to come here for our kegs. The staff is friendly and helpful! You simply cannot as for more!! Slainte !!

Lighthouses were created to help guide ships away from danger. This lighthouse, however, was created to lead thirsty drinkers to excellent libations, and it does so VERY well! A local place with a total beachin' feel with lots of great beer and wine to explore. There are even brews on tap so you can enjoy one in their awesome beer garden. My lady and I found this place right here on Yelp and had to check it out. They're also VERY dog friendly so Billy could come in too (as long as he was a good boy). We were definitely impressed by their selection, especially that of local beers, so we may have stocked up a bit. The staff were all super friendly and gave great advice on what to try. We also got a couples draft brews to enjoy in the beer garden. My lady got a Catawba Peanut Butter Stout and I got a Mother Earth Silent Night Stout, both great NC brews. Even Billy liked the beer garden since it was very open with a true beach feel (Really, he told me so!) Awesome bottle shop in Wrightsville Beach, NC! So much great beer and wine to choose from and knowledgeable staff willing to give good advice if it seems overwhelming. Stock up on some goodness to take home or enjoy a brew right there. It's ALL good!

These people hire ignorant abortionists to segregate those who wish to remain free. I believe that's called communism. I walked in one day to look at their selection of beer. I was immediately told that I have to stand outside and order because I didn't have a mask on. I explained that I cannot wear a mask because of my medical condition. The cashier, just over 19-year-old girl pompously told me that I need to leave and order on the side of the building outside. I was not able to look at the selection of beer so I quickly decided on a tropical lightning and gave a zero zilch nada tip. If you are a true American and realize that segregation even of people with medical issues is discrimination, then you should not be going to this establishment. 0/10 liberal shithole. The eyes of eternity are upon you.

My all time favorite bar in Wrightsville beach! It's super different than your normal bar. There's a shop beside it and what you can do is either buy your beers there or bring them from home I think and they have a cute little area beside it where everyone hangs out. I think the only downside about this place is that it closes at 9pm

Sometimes I hesitate to write a review because I don't want to share my favorite chill spots with everyone. So all you WB visitors can thank me now (lol). Lighthouse Beer & Wine is a neighborhood 7-11 but instead of a slurpee machines they have awesome local brews and wine on tap. In addition, there are rows of cold fridge cases full of amazing and limited edition beers and wine to purchase for take home or drink the side lounge area. They have the usual cases of cans and bottles but ask the super helpful staff if you're looking for more interesting adult beverages to try. About that outside- there are plenty of garden chairs and benches in small groups so you can have an intimate conversation or enjoy in a big group. It's casual, kid & dog friendly and feels like your at a friend's backyard. This is what beach living is all about!

Must stop if you are in the area. A beer and wine shop with a charming side patio. You can buy a bottle, a can, a six pack or just a draft pint to sit on the patio. Patio has games, shade and is perfect for community. Great selection and beer, wine and rose.

Craft beer on the way to the beach....Holy moly! Beer garden on the side and a large selection of $3 cold craft bottles inside. Jackpot! Lighthouse a fantastic array of craft beers sold by the six pack, bomber, and single (most cold) making it a great stop on the way to/from Wrightsville beach. Lots of vino for you wine folk as well. The beer garden with comfy adirondack chairs, umbrellas, and chill music makes for a supreme hangout spot. My only niggle is with the pricing. Everything seemed to be a dollar or two more than the same items in Triangle based shops, but is totally understandable considering the location. This is my new ILM spot!

This is one of the coolest little dive/beer shop place around. It's tiny and cramped inside. The outdoor patio is great. Plenty of room to sit and relax while enjoying a nice beverage. The staff is nice and seems like the have been there a long time, as they know some of the customers by name. They have a phenomenal walk-in beer cooler. The selection is just wonderful! They have so many different choices and they are all very unique. Fun place for sure.

Good selection of beer & wine. It would be nice if management would train the snarky little employees (especially the cashier with long brown hair & ugly glasses) how to bag your g--d-- purchases after you've spent $100 in their store and 4 employees are standing there not doing j--- s--t.

I hit up the Lighthouse every time I'm headed to Wrightsville, which is to say multiple times a year. This place is a mini version of my Durham beer mecca, Sam's Quik Shop. The Lighthouse has has over five hundred different varieties of beer in bottles and cans, including an exemplary selection of regional microbrews and several of my favorite IPAs. Build your own six pack, too, if you're afraid of commitment. Also, get your Lighthouse koozies and bottle openers here! Stock up on surprisingly fantastic canned beers---Anderson Valley, Triangle, Ska, etc.---to pretend they're just pop when you hit the beach. This is basically my favorite trick. The joint is also stocked with kegs galore! They're got a massive selection and rarely fewer than fifty kegs on hand at all times, so it's always an option to just swing by and pick up a keg. So rad. A $100 refundable deposit gets you everything, including a tap and bucket. Prices are reasonable. The Lighthouse also features a vast selection of wine and cigars. Beer is by far my favorite vice, so all I can really say is that wine and cigar fans will also be very happy here. Prices in general are a tad up there, but worth it for the amazing selection and proximity to Wrightsville. Plus the staff are super friendly and helpful. And you can't beat the private parking lot and picnic area if you can't wait to get home to have a sip.

Love the selection here. Went here new years eve for a 6 pack and ended up leaving with 2 six packs and two other bottles of beer. They have a huge selection of single beers to try...most I've never heard of and I love trying new things. I will be back here very often to try new beers. Man behind counter was very helpful as well. Give him an idea of what you're looking for he will help you find it.

Great place for hard to find beers. But I bought Miller Light . I know my bad that's all I was in the mood for. Why only 3 stars? Pricey. I paid the most I have ever paid for beer. I did a double take on the price.

Great staff, great selection, great customer appreciation day event! So many delicious beers on tap, and a mind boggling amount of others to choose from. This is a beer drinkers paradise. The beer garden on the side is great. Loads of sitting in shady and sunny spots!

Great place to stock up as soon as you cross over the bridge. Fantastic variety of beer, especially if you like British or German beers. It would have been 5 stars, but I can't in good conscience give someplace that charges over $9 for Iron City a perfect rating. The prices over all were fine, maybe I should give the 5th star for the laughs me and my brother in law had at seeing Iron City priced like a good beer.

Beach + Bottle Shop = Super Rad This is by far one of my favorite local businesses. Vacationing? Having a party? In addition to bottles of beer and wine they have the largest keg selection in town. Looking for something special? If they don't have it they will find it. They also have the largest sections of cold craft brews. I like to go here after a day on the beach and sit outside on their patio for a beer. Yes, it's dog friendly and they have great community events like Detox to Retox Yoga and Pumpkin Carving Contest. I also love this local business because they work with and actively support other local business. When you go in ask for Anna or Mp these two ladies know everything about beer and wine. Mp specializes in culinary field so if you have questions about food pairing she is the person to ask. The inside may seem small but it's well stocked and organized. I love how the keg menu is written on the floor when you walk in. Yes, there are lots of bottle shops in town but this one is unique. Every year Light House also puts on Beer fest which has developed into an amazing week of events also known as Wilmington Beer Week. This business is a lot more than a bottle a shop it's a staple in the community and I love supporting them in all their endeavors.

Lighthouse has a great backyard vibe. Laid pack atmosphere with a wide variety of beer and wine. Also a few great options on tap. The staff is great and will help find a beer just for you. My favorite beer garden in wilmington.

Awesome place with a great selection of beer. I enjoy picking a random beer and trying it (there are few I dislike), so this is the perfect place for that. The place is pretty small but there is still a wonderful variety. The prices range from moderate to pricey. I managed to purchase a six pack of a beer I knew I liked and a beer I wanted to try. I will definitely be back to pick out some more.

My friends and I have just booked our trip to go back to Wilmington for our 4th Lighthouse Beerfest in a row! Can't wait to see my little college town and of course drink a beer on the patio.

This store is simply amazing. From the awesome selection of hard-to-find/not-so-common beers to the super friendly staff (who were even nice enough to go out of their way and call my credit union when I accidentally left my wallet there so they could tell me they had it). Definitely my new favorite place to buy beer in the area now that I found it! I highly recommend everyone check it out!

We loved this place! We were on vacation in Wrightsville and stumbled upon this gem. We stopped in for a beer and relaxed in the garden area. The draft selection was a welcomed surprise; however, there is a nice variety of cans and bottles too. We realized they sold cigars that you could enjoy in the garden area so we indulged just about every day. Nice selection of cigars. The garden area is comfortable and clean. Folks bring their kids and dogs. Also, they just got done building a raised wooden patio with a roof the week we were there. Looked comfy! There is a nice bathroom inside....loved the decorations! Staff was great, everyone friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend this place and are looking forward to returning!

I visited this beer store based on the recommendation of a clerk at Tasty Beverage Co. in Raleigh. The selection is great, especially when considering the store is pretty small. They make efficient use of the space though, beer and wine is crammed into every nook and cranny, from floor to ceiling. If you have difficulty finding something in particular, don't despair. Odds are the product you're looking for is at knee or ankle level, so don't be afraid to ask the friendly staff for help. The prices aren't the best when compared to some of the other local shops, but when you consider the cost of the real estate it's understandable. You can buy cheap, watery mainstream beer at the grocery store and come get your quality craft beers here.

It was my family's first time at Lighthouse, so we weren't sure how it worked. No workers offered to help us or explain how their process worked, so we picked out a 6 pack, checked out, and said it was "to go" since there is no place to stay inside (we were confused, they didn't explain). We went outside to sit and started to drink, and a worker came out and said we couldn't have a 6 pack outside, didn't explain the reasoning, took 1 of our drinks back, and walked away and gave us much attitude. We went in later to get the drink, and she still didn't explain, apologize, and just ignored us saying it's our first time and we weren't sure how it worked. Our drinks were fine, but the worker (long curly hair) was extremely rude and her behavior and reaction is the opposite from what it should have been working in customer service.

this is the best place to buy specialty beer and wine in the Wrightsville Beach area. it is a really cool little wooden cottage. they even have a little patio out on the side- not so much a bar, but you can show up here with a few friends and try some beers.

Lighthouse is a breathe of fresh air when day drinking at wrightsville beach. Sunday day drinking is the only time I frequent wb beach bars, lighthouse is the exception, mainly because it is not a beach bar. I could go there every day and have spent plenty a penny in this fine establishment. The outdoor beer garden is quaint and quite relaxing. It's small, but never manages to be obnoxiously packed, even during the summer months. The selection is always fantastic and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Hands down the coolest place to get beer in town. Knowledgeable friendly staff will help you swim through the unearthly selection of the best local and national craft beer. They will even let you crack one and sit out back.....not to mention they have a full cooler dedicated to canned beers for the beach. And I'm not talking Natty cans, I'm talking Avery, Ska, etc. It's a bit of a drive for me closer to downtown but its worth the trip....

You can buy a six-pack of some hard-to-find craft beer... and then enjoy it in the outdoor patio? Seriously? Genius.

My favorite spot to visit in WB on a summer Saturday afternoon. Choose from an amazing selection of beers or ask one of the employees to help you pick a brew based on your preferences. If you have some time to kill, have them crack it open on the spot and relax in one of the wooden chairs under an umbrella next to the building. I've also ordered kegs from here a couple of times. My suggestion- the Lagunitas IPA. Seriously, SO INSANELY GOOD. They will also provide a bin if needed so that you can keep your keg nice and icey. Amazing staff + amazing beer= epic spot.

Great stop-they had many varieties and our favorite Kona-koko brown! A rare find for us from Michigan. We were glad to have stoped in-I can't imagine you couldn't find what you are looking for.

I love this little place. I come here every time I'm in town and load up. The selection is great. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is b/c the price on their boppers is high. The 4 and 6 packs seemed reasonably priced but again not the boppers.

If you are into craft beer and visiting Wrightsville Beach, Lighthouse is a must. Several local and other interesting taps for pints and growler fills. Large bottle/can selection as well. Great beer garden adjacent with adirondack chars and lots of shade.

Pricing for Festival is way excessive. Double and triple what it used to be. Boooo! I have never been to the store but have heard great things about the selection! This was the only place I found to voice my opinion about the Beer Festival.

Lighthouse Beer & Wine is the BEST store in Wrightsville Beach. Jason and Company offer a huge variety of beers and wines. Their service is the best in town. They also have a private beer garden for enjoying a beverage outside in comfortable chairs with great music!

Small store with awesome selection. They have some of the everyday domestic beers you could get anywhere, but they also have plenty I have never heard of before. Staff is friendly and helpful. The new outside area is a great place to have a beer or two with friends. Definitely would suggest this place.

I would look at other options in WIlmington to buy beer kegs. I ordered beer kegs on Tuesday for Wednesday pick up.My mother in law went to pick up kegs and was given wrong order went to return and she was harassed like she had tapped kegs. Date on one of kegs was even expired.I called and asked to speak with manager and was hung up on.I. Called back and was told to call back following day to speak with Jason. THey also overcharged her .this place is a rip off beware.

There are always new beers to try when I visit the Lighthouse! The people working are often very knowledgeable about what they carry, too, which is helpful when making decisions. They can often give recommendations and are familiar with their products, which is hard to believe considering how much they carry! Their outdoor area is a great place to relax and enjoy your new-found beer with friends.
