"Lighthouse Keeper’s Pantry, founded by Yarmouth Port native Kelly O’Connell in 2020, has quickly become an area staple for coffee, baked goods, and breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The interior is light-filled and charming, offering tables to enjoy your meal, as well as house-made condiments and specialty groceries for purchase. Alternatively, grab a table or Adirondack chair outside to take in all the beauty Yarmouth Port has to offer." - Anna Darrow

We came here multiple times during our trip to the Cape and absolutely loved it every time. The Fluffy Seagull Latte —so good! Their breakfast sandwiches are seriously amazing, super tasty and unique. The vibe is really chill and the staff are super friendly. Definitely one of our favorite spots—can’t wait to come back next time we’re in town! Try their hot sauces too!!!

Google
The iced vanilla latte I had here might have been one of the best lattes I’ve had. The woman that took my order was so nice and I got my drink really quick. Such a cute spot!

Google
I got the mocha latte here and it was so so good! I loved how much parking was out back and the inside had so much to offer. My friend and I spent around 10 minutes perusing all the merchandise and fun pantry items they had around the store before we ordered. They have a lot of cape staples like salt water taffy and candies. I didn’t end up buying anything other than my mocha and a homemade poptart (that I split with my friend). They make homemade poptarts Thursday through Sunday and I can’t recommend them enough. They’re so so good. The staff wasn’t the kindest, so I would take overall points off… but the coffee and snack was solid. Overall, probably a 7/10.

Google
Not sure what the hype is to be honest. Waited in line for one full hour and the coffee was mediocre. Also took at least 10 minutes to find parking. However the workers are very kind and the inside is cute.

Google
While the line was extremely long by 8:30am on a Sunday, it was worth the wait if you have time for it. The sandwiches were really really good and had interesting flavor upgrades for a breakfast sandwich. The pastries and coffee were good but I wouldn’t have waited over an hour for just the coffee, personally. The staff was extremely friendly and once you got into the cafe they had things moving as best as they could. Multiple staff offered me a chair (visibly very pregnant) and made sure I was okay while waiting.

Brenna Greenwald

Google
Quite overrated. We waited about 45 minutes to get in thinking we were ordering breakfast sandwiches and were told to grab them from the display and they would heat them up. The eggs were simply a premade frittata. The sandwich once heated was messy with goat cheese spilling out and the jam was too sweet. Overall, disappointing considering the wait and the prices.

Google
My husband and I came here three times with our friends while on a trip to Cape Cod! The coffee and pastries were delicious. We tried the ham and cheese croissant, peanut butter and jelly pastry, lemon poppy seed muffin, and egg goat cheese and fig sandwich. Our friends tried the morning glory muffin and loved it too! Their iced lavender lattes are delicious. They have excellent service, and work quickly. We highly recommend this sweet shop!!

Lovley staff snd wonderful baked goods. Recommend getting there early so you can take your time choosing from the many wondeful scones and other delicious treats.

Yelp
This may just be the best coffee/breakfast spot on the cape in my opinion! Loved the strawberry, egg and ham sandwich! Such a unique twist and so yummy! The coffee was phenomenal and the seating inside is super cozy. Customer service was average. Not the most warm and fuzzy people, but I didn't look into that much. Came back a second time during my trip for the ginger scone (it's the best!) and grabbed a sandwich to go - saved it to heat up the next morning. It was a delightful treat! My MIL also informed me they sell boxes of day old pastries for $6!! Super steal!! Regretted not grabbing a box on my way out. Can't wait to come back!!

Nutmeg Y.

Yelp
One of my favorite cafes in the Cape! They have such cute things that you can shop for, while you wait in line. The sandwich (Bass River Light) was delicious, even my little kids loved the combination of Brie and fig jam. Note that they only heat up breakfast sandwiches, not regular sandwiches. The highlight was the iced coffee. They use Springline Coffee beans (Newport Rhode Island) and it had the most deep, velvety, delicious coffee flavor I've ever (recently) had. My only regret is to not grab a bag of beans to bring home with me!

Tess Z.

Yelp
First I must note that the staff didn't explain how it worked to us so: You choose your sandwich from the fridge, buy it (and any coffee/pastries) and they warm it up. You then find a table and wait, once your name is called you grab your sandwich and can sit in the cafe to eat it. We tried the Optimist and the Schooner and LOVED both of them. The english muffins they're made on are a GAME CHANGER! So fresh, so good. We also got 2 different specialty coffee drinks that were fun and tasted good. The cafe area is cute and coastal, we loved it. We'll be back!!

Natalie L.

Yelp
Always good and dependable One of the larger coffee shops in terms of seating options Great takeout/grocery items Customer service is average

Yelp
Amazing place to sit and chat over a fantastic coffee and delicious pastry. All the to go products are AWSOME. I highly recommend getting a bottle of steak sauce.

Yelp
Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry is a little expensive, but they doesn't mean it's not worth it! There's a reason why there's a line out the door on any given summer day (and it's not slow service). Lighthouse Keepers has a nice selection of craft coffee and tea drinks to enjoy in their quaint little seating area or take to the beach! There's also a drool-worthy lineup of pastries and muffins baked fresh daily. Okay, and now for the pantry part. If you're coming here just expecting another coffee shop then you're going to be pleasantly surprised to find a well-curated pantry of hot sauces, coffee beans, baking mixes, jams, preserves, jelly's, marmalades, lions, tigers, and bears... oh my! Bad jokes aside, Lighthouse Keepers takes the "pantry" part of their name seriously. As if it couldn't get any better, Lighthouse Keepers Pantry carries cute merch (tote bags!), ice cream sandwiches, and various quality kitchen supplies. If I could live in a coffee shop...

Yelp
The Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry is a gem right by our home in Dennis. The ambience, food and drink is no doubt a 5 stars. I usually avoid leaving negative comments/reviews on yelp and always try to comment on the positives especially those businesses in my local community. However, this is this third time our family has felt like the service is... should I say... service without a smile? We have two young children (1 yo, 3 yo) and although I understand this business is a cafe (some people may be working, etc) it is certainly not a library. Our children are not perfect but they are children, they do make noise, they do move their bodies, etc. We try to be respectful of the business and the people around us. But with that said, we are also paying customers and I feel like should be given the same respect as the other people in the restaurant. I'm hopeful the Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry will continue to be a successful business in our community but will work to improve their customer service.

Yelp
A cozy coffee shop located inside a historic building, LKP is the perfect spot to grab coffee or lunch with a group of friends. The nautical art and decorative cape cod pillows gives you the warm welcome you expect at grandma's house. The iced latte is solid here. Their milk foamer was broken when we came so we were limited to cold drinks but that's ok with the summer heat. We got a box of the day old pastries for $6 and you wouldn't have known they were a day old because they tasted great. The morning glory muffin is the star here - I highly recommend it. The almond croissant and blueberry scone were ok but that muffin was just so good. There was also a wide selection of breakfast and lunch sandwiches that I didn't get to try. Inside also featured a small shop that had lots of tasty things like jams, hot sauces, and ice cream sandwiches. There are a few small tables inside and outdoor seating as well. They have wifi here but only a few of the tables had access to an outlet. I was able to get some work done here but not ideal for work calls given the tables are so close to each other. As for parking, there is a small lot in the bac

Yelp
Cute shop, nice gourmet selections but, the food is not worth a trip. My roast beef sandwich - the only choice - was $12, had over 1.3 lbs of beef, a single piece of lettuce, smashed tomatoes with zero flavor and a tsp of some kind of sauce. Basically a giant handful of dry meat. When I ask for sauce the staff said, "nope" and turned away. I took this home and fed it to my dogs. Stick to the wonderful jams and preserves.

Yelp
The coffee is so bad. And the service Wowwww Horrible Don't waste your time or money

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop. The website is a little deceiving. The food is pre-prepared, even the breakfast sandwiches which are heated up very slowly in some type of warmer. The coffee was delicious and our daughter felt her almond milk hot chocolate was one of the best! (They could benefit from using a thermometer as it was so hot she couldn't hold the cup even with a sleeve for 15-20 minutes). The cape dory breakfast sandwich was full of flavor, you can never go wrong with pesto. The Ketch breakfast sandwich was alright, when you a highlight a breakfast sandwich with a jam (especially on a dense English muffin) it's always helpful to be able to taste it...we couldn't and that was disappointing. We felt the price of these sandwiches was high for their reheat on-the-go style and quality. The young person taking our order and making the drinks was friendly, knowledgeable and wonderful to interact with. However, the adult working alongside her didn't carry the same qualities. The creamer was empty and when we politely handed it to her to let her know (we paid for our coffee and wanted to be able to enjoy it how we like it) she was very inconvenienced and hesitant to take it. Looking between the canister and a box across the room. She shared that they just got it in with annoyance. After an awkward couple of minutes passed she pushed her way through and refilled it. As customers, this was awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, it was ok. We doubt we will be back, not due to avoidance, but due it not being memorable food or an extremely pleasant experience.

Yelp
I love popping into lighthouse keepers. It's such a lovely store, with great decor and offerings. I like perusing their shelves for new ingredients or local artisan tools (I really want their knives!!). Most of the time it's for inspiration, but one day I'll be back to take it all home with me. What I always leave with are snacks and treats. I love their pecan rolls and will someone choose a rotating or special selection. They have lots of beverage selections, coffee and teas. I ordered their London fog once and really enjoyed it. I popped in for a breakfast sandwich once and highly recommend the pesto. If you're around in the summer, visit them in the evening for their ice cream. It's adorably sold out of a boat on their front lawn and is enormous. Be ready to share!

Yelp
We visited the Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry twice on our short vacation in Cape Cod. They have a great selection of pastries and grab and go sandwiches. They will even warm the sandwiches up for you! They also have a good selection of merchandise to purchase. Great service and a comfortable atmosphere. The coffee is great too!

Yelp
I just discovered Lighthouse Keeper's Pantry on my last trip to Hyannis. The service was excellent- they answered my ridiculous amount of questions about the wonderful selection of baked goods they had available. They had lots of scones, croissants, frittata, and other baked items, in addition to a variety of coffees and drinks. My latte was excellent! It is so hard to find a good latte these days- and this was perfect. I went back for each day I was there- and got the Salted Carmel BACON Scone. Yes. You read that right. It is SO good!! I also tasted the blueberry muffin- it was delicious as well. (But Salted Carmel Bacon)! There is also a good area of items for sale, ranging from fresh eggs (from their chickens out back)! to sandwiches, firehouse chili mix, cookies, jams, jellies, cookbooks, and even frozen (fresh) scallops. Also, I love the decor of the whole place. It is on the Historic Registry, which is close to my heart. It is just lovely inside.

Amy L.

Yelp
Delicious coffees and pastries - I loved all the options. We had a perfectly made mocha and a divine iced latte. Only little hiccup was that my partner eats plainly and the sandwiches all had specialty jams, sauces and items already on them. They were premade so hard to customize. I thought they all sounded so good though!!! We'll be back

Yelp
Although only in its 2nd year, LKP has quickly become a Cape Cod staple! Located off the iconic 6A, its historical charm fits right in. Inside is a cute cafe with seating and shop where you will find Cape theme kitchen supplies, homemade sandwiches, ice cream and great gifts! Swing by on Saturdays In the summer foe the best homemade ice cream sandwiches served out of a boat!

Alex P.

Yelp
Awesome spot for quick coffee and pastries. Very friendly staff. This place was recommended to us.

Ann P.

Yelp
Such a cute spot that is a combined retail and cafe. My friends swear by the treats. I did not indulge. My cappuccino wasn't quite right. To be fair, the "barista" was young and knew little about the process or the product. The cozy side room was filled with folks working on computers. Outside might be lovely on a pleasant day. Nestled amongst other cute stores, Lighthouse fills the cafe void in Yarmouthport.

Rich K.

Yelp
This is a locals place with decent breakfasts. Typical diner food. Service good, food good, prices good. will return.

Calín E.

Yelp
By far one of the cutest coffee shops on cape cod! The staff is always friendly and if I was still in school the seating makes it a quaint place to study or hang out with friends. The beautiful and private couches and tables make it fun. I enjoy the charm of this place right when I walk in the front door. You walk into a beautiful local gift shop and get the benefit of great food and service. I hope to do my Christmas shopping there and maybe a nice treat for myself. The coffee is excellent there, I love that they have lavender as a flavor and my favorite menu item is definitively the chocolate croissant!

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Delicious Amazing little store with both local goods like crafts from cape artists, handmade lollipops and other treats, cape salts, spices and sauces. As well as nice imported items- such as Scandinavian licorice and french la fermiere yogury Got a nice box of day old pastries for $6- 1 pecan roll, 1 morning glory muffin, 1 scrumptious blueberry muffin and 1 glazed stick. Was sad to see happy fish bakery go but happy there is a nice friendly tasty and affordable business taking it's place

Sylvie T.

Yelp
Always fresh and sandwiches are tasty! One caveat: it is so popular that parking is a nightmare from early to even 2pm...unfortunately, drivers are a bit selfish and park haphazardly crooked and leaving spaces unusable. But the food is great!

Hallie M.

Yelp
This place is so cute! We came twice and had iced lattes and cold brew. It was so good that I insisted that we stop a second time on our way out. Good coffee, cute pantry section with local food and gifts, nice indoor seating area, and Adirondack chairs to enjoy your drinks and treats outside.

Terry R.

Yelp
Sweet coffee shop, well decorated, good service, lots of local gif tables (jams, jellies, sauces, etc.). Had a cappuccino (good) and an almond croissant (it was fine but not great). Friends recommend the muffins so I'll go back to try one of those. Definitely would return for coffee and I spent a fair amount of money buying local jams and sauces. My dog, Jaxx, loved their dog biscuits.

Sara M.

Yelp
I, promise to never park in the wrong direction again - I, also promise to never patronize this location again ! I will take the extra few and drive to Pain D'Avignon for fresh baked goods.

Colin W.

Yelp
Saturday night home made ice cream sandwiches, wow, so good. Worth driving miles out of your way for

Brandon B.

Yelp
Food & coffee was amazing! Excellent & friendly service. The setting is very fun, good options for seating both inside & outside.

Wendy B.

Yelp
I am a coffee lover and even wrote a book about my Coffee Connections experiences. Since writing the book I have been exploring new venues on the Cape where I recently relocated from metrowest Boston. I was introduced to this cafe by a friend today and am thrilled as it is one of the best coffee places I have been to. They serve delicious coffee and have a fun vibe.

Donna M.

Yelp
Pastry and coffee were excellent with a very Quaint atmosphere. Service was good. Self service for coffee additions.

Anonymous P.

Yelp
Delicious coffee cute shop with lots of local condiments (honey, jams, etc.) and books. Quick service. Recommend 10/10. Very good coffee house tribute to cape cod.

Andie L.

Yelp
Coming from someone who works at a Forbes 5 star rated hospitality location, I couldn't help but be overwhelmed by lighthouse keepers lack of customer service. The food and coffee are amazing but you are rushed in line only to get up to the counter, have three or more staff yell at you quickly asking what you want until all of a sudden you've been thrown to the side with a coffee you had .5 seconds to think about and a split second decision baked good that's probably not what you would have selected if you had had a second to pause and think. The woman who is well dressed and looks to be the owner is incredibly nasty. It's such a shame because although the food and drinks are amazing, you will leave here having spent a fortune feeling overwhelmed by the lack of customer service. You are simple a dollar sign in their mind. I have gone here 5 plus times, busy or not, and it is always the same vibe. I always leave with an icky feeling in my soul.

Kristen R.

Yelp
Lovely place with great jams and specialty products But $4.50 for a small muffin? A little overpriced to me.

June C.

Yelp
We stayed in Yarmouth and just down the street we discovered this cute coffeehouse. The barista (wished I got her name) knew exactly how to make my cappuccino (most places do not know how to make a "DRY" cappuccino). She made it on point, and because of that we visited this cute coffee place every morning for the duration of our stay. The pastries were yummy and also served wonderful snacks to go. Will definitely be back whenever we are in Cape Cod.

Jacob A.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Everything you order will taste good. The guy the works the Sunday closing shift made my day he's awesome, handsome and can make a kick ass hot latte

Dianna B.

Yelp
Its an amazing thing to find a place with great coffee, delicious food and beautiful design - that ALSO has such a great warm friendly human hometown atmosphere. I love that owners Kelly and Greg are around welcoming people, sitting in a booth saying hi, interacting and connecting with the community. After 2 years of social isolation and masks - it's such a relief to see and experience that again. :) So love this place.

Eleanor R.

Yelp
The cutest place! Love the ambiance and decor - so unique for this part of the Cape! They feature local artists and baked goods, which are all so good. I haven't tried their own food, but love their coffee and matcha.

Emma W.

Yelp
This place was packed on a Saturday morning, and I understand why! Tasty coffee and tea, yummy pastries, fun interior. Lots of local food products to buy! Worth a stop.

Kristin K.

Yelp
Love this place. So nice on the inside. Must stop for coffee, pastries & breakfast items.

Merricat B.

Yelp
In a time when the mediocrity of chains like Dunkin Donuts gather cultish regularity out of simple convenience and a public desperation for garbage water that has some sugar in it born from this hellish, dystopian reality we exist in - where waiting in a drive-through line that stretches beyond the horizon line is such a given that we've begun scheduling our day around how long it will take to get a coffee less palatable than the trap water of sinks I've unclogged - Lighthouse Keepers is an oasis in that desert of "I'll drink it cause I'm thirsty, I'll eat it cause I'm hungry, but I won't enjoy it." That we've become so accustomed to. Are they bougie? Yes, but in a way that's charming, homey, comforting, and not the least bit off-putting to someone who has never worn anything Nantucket red. Are they a little on the pricey side? I suppose in comparison to the actual garbage being choked out elsewhere, sure. You're gonna trade a few extra sheckles for the best veggie strata of your life, and a coffee that tastes like it came from an actual bean, rather than a rabbit turd someone mistook for that alchemical legume which fuels us all. From fresh made sandwiches, salads, pastries and beverages to hot sauces, condiments, snacks and miscellany from their own kitchen, as well as other producers of small batch goods - lighthouse has everything you might want or need to satisfy whatever craving you might be feeling. And Kelly, the owner and an actual real life precious angel, is usually in the dining area happy to say hello, or running between the kitchen and displays stocking, heating food, serving drinks - whatever, whenever. I don't like a lot of things. I'm generally fairly unpleasant. I'm grumpy, and people give me the trots. But Lighthouse Keepers Pantry - and I say this with a mouthful of that same Veggie Strata - is my favorite place to get away from life, even for just the few minutes it takes to get my Large hot Mocha Latte with whole milk, which has never, not once, been anything less than phenomenal. If you haven't been there, you should. If you have been there, go again. That is all.

Peter H.

Yelp
A cozy breakfast place in Yarmouth Port with delicious food and friendly service. They have a selection of breakfast sandwiches, egg dishes (including vegan equivalents) and pastries. I've had breakfast sandwiches and pastries there that are as good as I've ever had. Also, great iced tea! I enjoyed talking to the woman who started the business. It's a great story of a person who grew up nearby and had a dream to start a business here. The lighthouse in the title is the scenic lighthouse on Sandy Neck that you can see from the shore. It's a modest place and we almost missed it. But it's become our go-to breakfast place during our visit here.

Casey S.

Yelp
The coffee and pastries are spectacular. But, every time we go there for coffee there is really cool table that can seat 4. Unfortunately, the woman who we believe is the manager/owner sits there with her computer open just talking. Every time! Being the owner/manager she should think twice before tieing up a table for 4. She really should conduct her business in the office in the back which I am sure they have.

Haywood J.

Yelp
Worth stopping in just for the pastries but the breakfast sandwiches put it over the top!! Would defiantly stop again if ever in the area.

Nancy A.

Yelp
Second time coming here, always great service and amazing food/coffee. Cool flavor combinations, especially in anything using the brand's own jam/sauce products. Reasonably priced, and they sell combinations of four day-old pastries for only six dollars. Nice dining area to sit for awhile, would recommend!
