Annapolis’ Iconic Dock Bar Pusser’s to Be Replaced By Two Restaurants - Eater DC

"Chris Townsend, co-owner of Pusser’s, said the new Maryland space will maintain its same British pub feel and vintage bar from Wales and resurface with a new name: Pusser’s Landing at Lighthouse Point Marina. The new location will also have an increased capacity of 300 seats inside and 200 on a floating dock bar outside. The Canton marina will also have 350 news slips for boaters, and Townsend plans to deliver food and drinks straight to customers bobbing in the harbor." - Claudia Rosenbaum

Thanks so much to Joel, Ben and the rest of the crew! We used Lighthouse Point as our home base for the last year including overwintering in our slip. They were so accommodating to every request. It seemed the answer was always “ yes!” Truly one of the nicest marinas we have visited from Baltimore to the FL Keys. Brand new wide slips, wide runways, and floating docks with great views of the cityscapes. We, and our dog, loved the walkable area with several nice parks just steps away. Safeway and Lighthouse Liquors barely a block away were perfect for last minute provisions. We would highly recommend this marina!

This marina is one of the nicest ones we have visited on the Chesapeake. The docks are new, the team is very accommodating, and the upcoming changes will only elevate the experience. We had an amazing time exploring the great restaurants and bars in Canton and can’t wait to go back. If you have also past by this marina on your way to Fells or the Inner Harbor, I recommend giving them a try.

So far, quite pleased w/ LHP Oasis. We are refugees from a nearby marina that was condemned and forced all boaters out w/ only a two week notice. Lighthouse Point worked tirelessly to get those interested into the marina on short notice. Kudos for that customer service. But- for those that recall the old Baltimore Marine Center, the new digs are fantastic! Wide/sturdy finger piers. Outside dock has a wave attenuator minimizing wake/wave action. On the pier pumpout, wifi, new power pedestals, app activated access, new boaters lounge about to open that looks really sleek, plus right in the heart of Canton and mere steps to West Marine. Joel the manager has been very responsive and kind. Ben and Amanda(?) also very helpful. Ben met us on the dock for our inaugural arrival and facilitated lines and hook ups. All of this at an attractive price. Glad to be part of the marina community at Oasis Lighthouse Point.

Since taking over, Oasis has really upgraded the experience. Friendly management provides a welcome kit to transients, and dog goodies too. Slips are well maintained. Nice pool and bath house. Friendly manager let us check out late. Walk to restaurants and Safeway. We will be back

We stayed here about 6 weeks in Sept and Oct 2024 in a double slip for our brand new catamaran delivery. The docks are completely new and modern; the nicest docks I've ever been on. Office staff and dock hands were always very helpful. Special thanks to manager Joel, and dock guys Ben and Brent. Prices were decent. They're slowly filling it up now that it's been redone, and they were at about 25% capacity when we were there, so lots of room and lots of privacy on the dock. A great stay.

Yelp
Improvements are being made! And it was nice to see that Bo Brooks Restaurant still provides a BMC discount!

Yelp
We have been at this marina for ten years however we are now moving our boat. Many of the finger piers are twisted and unsafe. The owner Danny is apparently only interested in getting every penny out of the marina that he can. When we first moved here electricity was included now it is 21 cents a KH. That is almost double what the marina pays-parking is now difficult because they have limited spaces. If there are no spaces available you must pay to park in the lot next to the marina. The use of the pool is very limited and if you have friends or family visiting it will cost you $$$ to use the pool. This was a wonderful marina 10 years ago but not anymore.
