The 18 Best Restaurants In Berlin 2024

"Take Thai food, make it vegan, and serve it in small bowls perfectly sized for people who like to try a bit of everything—that’s the approach at li.ke, which you’ll find right on the northwest corner of Boxhagener Platz. Pop in for a casual meal after slamming a few cheap Späti beers in the square, or to ward off any hunger that might distract you from getting lost in a book while you lay out in the sun. There are some large dishes like pad thai on the menu, but it’s more fun to split their smaller stuff with a couple of friends, particularly the massaman curry, papaya salad, and tau hu tod." - cindy brzostowski, olivia ladanyi

The food was pretty good, went with a group of 6 and they forgot one dish. The pad Thai is extremely spicy for a ‘one fire’ on the menu. Couldn’t finish it because it was too spicy and lips were on fire. The people are kind and there were plenty of options.

Ordered in through Uber Eats. Spent 20€ on a small salad and a Pad Thai. I was expecting something at least decent, if not great. Sadly, the papaya salad tasted like some spicy stale coleslaw made way in advance. Like you could taste the staleness of it. The pad Thai, which wasn’t cheap either, was mainly just noodles with a few pieces of tofu and some lettuce. It was SO SPICY my lips and mouth were on fire. Really inedible with how extremely spicy it was. Maybe they put in too much chili paste, not sure… Sadly I couldn’t eat my dinner after a long day of work and I had to just leave it in the fridge. Such a disappointment, especially that I spent 20€ of my hard-earned money to just waste food while Uber and the restaurant get rich. Sadly I will never order stale and/or untasty food from this restaurant again. 🤢

Very nice staff, attentive and quick! The food was scrumptious and delicious! We had pad thai and Khao Soi as well as some fried tofu balls covered in rice flakes. Well flavored and potent in spice. Recommended for sure!

Restaurant in the style of small and large bowls. Vegan and Thai at the same time. Lots of nice Thai flavor, spicy for me 4/10, unfortunately I missed the color and distinct flavor in the dishes, slightly bland. Friendly service. You can pay by card! and in the area it is a rarity 😉 The food is good but there are better places with vegetarian food very close by. I can repeat!

Totally worth it! All the bowls were delicious and the size of them is very convenient to share

Great vegan food, cosy place, and nice staff! It was the first time for me to try to eat with chopsticks and order the food by ticking the options on a piece of paper and then handing it to the waiter.

I‘m not vegan but this is now on my top restaurants in Berlin! Everything was sooo flavorful, the portion of the big bowl of padthai felt like it was never ending. The drinks were delicious too.

An absolutely excellent vegan Thai restaurant! I highly recommend trying the bowls – they’re small portions, which makes it easy to sample a variety of dishes. We ordered six for two people and shared everything, which turned out to be more than enough even for those with a decent appetite. Each dish offered a unique and delicious flavor experience. Highly recommended.
