First time at Likewise after seeing it as a “must go”. It did not disappoint. The citrus ginger scone was incredible and my mom has been raving about the vanilla latte saying it’s the best she’s ever had. I tried the maple latte which was also really good. Will definitely be back next time we are in WI

Made our first stop at Likewise while visiting Milwaukee. Its a nice cozy spot. Vanilla bean latte, maple latte, chocolate chip cookie are great. Worth visiting.

An oasis of good coffee in a desert full of fake outs. Coffee cake is amazing. Great place to chill and/or work. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Milwaukee.

Couldn’t wait to enjoy their vegan Ranger cookie again - so delicious! Only one left in cookie jar this visit! Husband enjoyed an iced black tea with milk. We’ve also enjoyed their vanilla latte’s with almond milk in the past - so good! Charming, comfortable environment. Counter seating in center of cafe, tables on the out skirts. A very welcoming, happy (lots of plants), warm, welcoming cafe.

Fantastic coffee shop in a cool neighborhood. Lots of seating, great iced tea, a good looking coffee menu/pastries, and a fun atmosphere.

Came here because of TikTok. Huge mistake. I ordered the lavender oat milk matcha, which—let’s be honest—shouldn’t even be called matcha. The color was a lifeless gray-green, like matcha that had lost the will to live. It had clumps floating in it. Literal clumps. The texture was chalky, and it tasted like nothing but sugar. I couldn’t taste the matcha at all—just sweet, vaguely lavender chalkwater. I don’t get the hype. I don’t get the reviews. I feel personally betrayed by the algorithm. This was $7 worth of sadness in a cup. Never again.

A fun cafe with open seating and lighting. I'm looking forward to trying other signature drinks, they had a nice small but intriguing menu. Didn't love the coffee but fully enjoyed the vibes.

This was the perfect pit stop on a very cold day. I ordered a hot vanilla bean latte and a hot golden milk (Stay Golden) that warmed me right up! They were delicious. The vanilla bean latte was smooth and creamy. I thought the sweetness level was very balanced. The golden milk was good as well, but it was very gritty because of the turmeric and cinnamon grinds. There was plenty of seating inside and big windows that let in a lot of sunlight. I think this place is good for hangouts or for studying/doing work. They also have coffee beans and loose leaf tea for sale as well as other Likewise coffee merch (i.e. stickers, shirts, mugs, etc.) The service was good. There was only 1 barista when I came in, so she was taking all the orders and making the drinks as well. She was friendly, and the drinks came out relatively quick.

A great place to get some work done! Likewise is a great coffee shop nestled in the third ward. Parking can be sparse sometimes. I do enjoy the overall ambiance and seating. It also feels more like a community atmosphere which is nice. I also enjoyed that in the month of February you can get a free espresso. Although, it's not my favorite coffee taste profile I do enjoy spending time together and that's the only thing stopping it from being 5 stars for me. Otherwise a great spot to checkout.

Very modern coffee spot in a great walking location. Huge on the inside spacious and even has a patio for summer. The syrups are made in house and they use organic sugar so your coffee/pastry may not be as sweet BUT it is still good. Coffee cake and peppermint seasonal Iced coffee was 8/10 Will be back to try more drinks.

Scheduled a meeting of the minds with my girl cousins. This was the perfect place to do it! The vibe was lively, not too loud, perfect for our brainstorming sesh. I ordered a cappuccino and coffee cake with jam and found a nice corner of the shop to get comfy in. Service was fast and friendly. Loved my cappuccino. The coffee cake was perfect - not too sweet! Parking was nice and easy. I'll definitely be back to try other drinks and treats!

A solid, coffee shop with tasty brewed coffee. Also big plus, they make their syrups in house which is a must for me! I've had several drinks and they've all been consistent and delicious. They use Wonderstate coffee and their pastries are top notch. I love the space itself, and I enjoy hanging out in here during the winter as it is full of natural light and helps me feel less gloomy. Beautiful space, delicious drinks. Milwaukee has so many amazing coffee shops to relax in--definitely check out Likewise.

This was a serene and roomy cafe with well spaced out tables inside and patio seating as well. The greenery throughout and used as dividers gave the cafe a very relaxing vibe. This was located in the busy Third Ward and was a welcome respite from the forecasted rain. I enjoyed an iced hibiscus tea and my friends had a latte with pretty art and an iced drink. Sunny tunes, mellow vibe.

I adore this spot for having an iced latte or cold brew while working or meeting up with friends. This place gets such great light. It feels airy, bright, and inviting. I love all the plants scattered around. I tend to kill a respectable amount of the plants I acquire, so I am always I'm always impressed by a green thumb. Excellent location. You can walk to a number of restaurants, breweries, and bars. Honestly, the service is what I expect in a 'cool' coffee shop or brewery. Customer service is not great. But you veer your drink, and it is wonderfully made!

1 start based on experience with service. Bonus star to give the cafe the benefit of the doubt. Went here in the middle of the day with my parents and there was no line. The employee was a blonde curly haired male presenting person. My mom asked a few questions about coffee and the employee was very short and unhelpful. I observed this and tried asking questions as well and he continued to be short and disengaged. Maybe he was having a bad day or a something but it was off putting enough that we decided to cancel our order and go to Discourse coffee. Seemed to be the right decision. Not sure if I'd ever return. Menu and pastries seemed underwhelming from our first impressions.

Stopped by based on the coffee review. Delicious and smooth. Coffee 5 star but NY coffee cake was just ok, so brought down my score. I would stop back certainly for the coffee but skip the pastry.

We stopped by this coffee shop partly because it offered each guest a free espresso per day in February. The ambiance of the place is very inviting, decorated with beautiful plants and furnished with modern chairs and tables. We got our free espresso and shared a small chocolate cake. The cake was very tasty and not too sweet (which we liked). But the espresso gave an overwhelmingly sour taste. I'm more of a tea drinker and rarely drink coffee unless I'm traveling outside the U.S. (especially in Europe). For reasons that I don't quite understand, espresso sold at U.S. coffee shops tends to be rather sour and not nearly as smooth. I'm told that the sourness is not as pronounced in a cappuccino or latte with a lot of milk and sugar added. I was hoping that the espresso at Likewise Coffee was smooth and did not give a strong sour taste, but I was disappointed.

Best coffee house in Milwaukee - easily, I know, because I am a coffee expert. The place is clean & tight. The coffee is really good. It is bright & airy. This is what you want & expect. Yes, it is & was.

Savior of the holiday Monday. They say "open every day" on their sign and I guess they mean it. Lovely spot. Quality cafe latte. Not a ton of eats, but some eats.

The aesthetic here is delightful! Something so enjoyable about how simplistic their space is. The floor-to-ceiling windows allow in so much natural light too, which is great. Oh and their coffee, that's great too :) I always try to opt for a local spot when I'm after a caffeine fix. Likewise offers simple, yet tasty cafe drinks. I'm a fan of their latte! I do wish they had other alt-milk options apart from oat (as that's definitely not my fave), but it was still a tasty drink. Super creamy. Also had to snag something out of the baked-goods section. Again, small and simple selection but ya can't go wrong. I really loved their granola bar... you can tell it's fresh-made! Not only was it huge, it was packed with yummy goodness like oats, pumpkin seeds, pb, and flax. My kind of snack. Worth coming here if you're just passing by, or to hang out with your book or laptop for a bit! I certainly know I'll return.

One of the prettiest coffee shops in Milwaukee by far. The space feels airy and bright with all the natural lighting that floods in through the giant windows. Definitely puts you in a productive mood. Coffee was delicious! I'm a sucker for creative, seasonal drinks. Glad I got to try the beet latte that was on the menu for this month. It was a unique twist to your typical latte - the beet flavor was very subtle, but still added a nice earthy richness. It also kept me pretty well-caffeinated, which was surprising since I find that sweeter coffee drinks tend to lack caffeine. Only downside to this place is that seating is minimal and outlets are scarce. There is a giant shared table in the middle of the workspace, but there are no outlets nearby. Outlets are located near the booths that are against the wall. Wasn't too hard to snag a booth on a random weekday afternoon, but I can imagine it being difficult to find seating at busier times. Overall, will be back! Definitely putting Likewise on my list of must-visit MKE coffee shops.

Nice place for a good cup of coffee. Found this place thanks to Yelp! After having lunch nearby, yelped and found this gem. The coffee was delicious. Atmosphere was good. We went around 2pm and there was plenty of seating.

I love the location of Likewise Coffee, as it is very close to the river walk area and has a cute outdoor patio. I ordered an iced vanilla bean latte with oat milk, and it was absolutely perfect. It was creamy and not overly sweet. The shop itself has a lot of coffee beans for purchase as well as cute merchandise. There is quite a bit of seating and it wasn't overly noisy inside. I also felt like the price of their coffee, considering it is a specialty coffee shop, was reasonable and worth what I paid. This is definitely top on my list of coffee shops to frequent!

First of all, I love how brightly lit it is inside of the place. It seems to be dog friendly, at least from the outside. With the temps on the rise at last, this is a solid pick to spend time either outside or inside you will definitely feel the sun! This place is hassle-free and a perfect place to relax in the third ward. They have cute designs and coffee bags and merch to purchase as well to support local! I ordered the vanilla bean and it hit the spot, both with flavor and caffeine :)

What a gem! I recommend going to Likewise just for the smells alone. Their chai latte with almond milk was delicious. They have a rather small menu, but it seems like everything is done well. They also have a small assortment of pastries that looked heavenly but I did not indulge. Great place to relax, people watch, and do some homework or studying because it is rather quiet and laidback.

I'm always impressed by likewise's latte art! An airy vibe, I like coming here for their seasonal drink specials and the coffee cake is excellent! I don't find the seating the most comfortable, so I'd rather come here for catching up with friends than working from home.

Needed an afternoon pick-me-up and the hemp milk latte from Likewise hit! Great, airy space with plenty of seating. This coffee shop has a variety of beverage options and also sells roasted coffee beans as well as merchandise.

Stopped by with my girlfriend because it looked like a really cool "hipster-y" coffee shop. The lady who took our order was being rude and judgmental to us the second we walked in. The other employee there was really nice to us but the cold brew wasn't really that good ‍

This coffee shop is so cute, and the drink was great. However, it's kind of discouraging that all the people ordering before me were asked "for here or Togo" and given cute cups for dine in, while I dined in also and wasn't given that option, and in turn have a clear plastic cup. As someone documenting my new coffee shop journeys, I wish I had a better photo to post, and a better memory of the staff.

Love the atmosphere and the vibe of this place. Great fall seasonal drinks. We loved our drinks and customer service was great. We also got the sausage scone and the cheese corn muffin and they were both delicious. Highly recommend and will be coming back soon!

Stopped in for a quick coffee and the staff was very friendly. I had one of their specialty lattes, the Wanderer. Very cute place with seating inside and a small patio area in front.

After living in hot places, I'm a sucker for an espresso tonic and I was so happy to have a great one here. Cappuccino was also fantastic. Definitely a place for true coffee lovers!

Visiting Third Ward with my kid and needed a spot to escape the summer heat and figure out our plans for the day. We both enjoyed the ambiance at Likewise. Our lattes were refreshing. We appreciated the self-serve plain and fizzy water too. We sat towards the back and there were outlets at every table. My daughter wasn't crazy about the spices in the pumpkin bread but I thought it was delicious!

A lovely spot with tons of seating and delicious coffee. The staff was friendly too. And I love that there's sparkling water on tap!

Great local coffee shop - my fav in the Third Ward by far. I normally get a decaf pour over, but the last time I was in I got an amazing chai latte. Love all their drink options I've tried! Nice staff and the line moves quickly if there is one. Not a ton of options for food. Lots of seating and a great vibe.

Their coffee products are so good now compared to what they had when they just reopened after rebranding. Loved my cup of latte - temperature, flavor, and bonus latte arts... everything is perfect! Their house scones taste great too. I also bought cold brews and New York style coffee cake. Can't wait to enjoy them during the rest of my day.

Delicate and complex. Excited to try other options. Citrus Ginger Scone - 5/5. One of the better scones I've had in awhile. Citrus flavor shines through, sweet glaze. The ginger is candied and more subdued, more like an apricot. Great texture. Chai - 4/5. Sweet but tasty. Spice comes through.

How gorgeous is this vanilla bean latte?! Just tried this place and love it. Perfect to get work done, read a book, or meet up with friends. I love the indoor/outdoor setting! Added bonus, they have cold water and sparkling water on tap as well for you to help yourself to when you're there. Love that little touch!

This place is such a gem. It's the perfect stop on an afternoon walk, especially when it's 55 and sunny in early March. Our drinks were perfect, as was the latte art. We also loved the atmosphere. I do wish they had more baked goods because I would've loved a savory scone but my coffee made up for it. The location is perfect for the WFH life but they close soooo early on weekdays. I wish their hours were a bit later, like they are on weekends to really be able to utilizes the space for work and get my caffeine fix...although I'd probably buy like 5 cups throughout the day and be bouncing off the walls, so maybe it's for the best?

This is the cutest little coffee shop in Milwaukee! My husband and I were visiting the city on a day trip and this was one of the only coffee shops open and I am so happy we stopped in! All of the employees were so friendly and welcoming. There was a great selection of baked goods and their coffee was delicious as well. Can't wait to stop back in when we visit again!

At the same location where Kickapoo Coffee used to be, Likewise has kept the place and the ambiance nice and cozy. There's plenty of natural light inside with lots of plants. I usually go for the iced chai, and today I ordered a citrus ginger scone that was vegan and delicious! Yay! It's nice that they also have outside seating (weather permitting).

Still my favorite latte in the city after 15 plus visits! Breakfast items- both savory and sweet are so delicious. Always a stop I bring people from out of town and they say nothing but positives about their experience!

This is a one of a kind, extremely unique coffee place. The employees are highly skilled and coffee of all different varieties. I highly recommend that you try something that you have never tried before. Trust me, you will love it.

First time trying the cute place! I love the aesthetic, but I have had better coffee. I got the orange spiced coffee which I thought was such a unique flavor, I was a little disappointed in the lack of flavor. Cool flavor idea, execution wasn't there. I will swing in for another try soon.

Coffee was delicious! I ordered a dirty chai and it was very good!! The staff was extremely friendly and the drink was made so fast!! They have a smaller menu, but I'm sure they can make almost anything! Super cute inside too and has outdoor seating! Love this little coffee spot!!

I got the iced psl and it was the perfect balance of sweet flavor with the espresso flavor. It was so good, I had to buy another one before I left! And the workers there are so nice! I accidentally ordered my second coffee hot instead of iced, and they replaced it for free. There are plants along the walls and hanging, I love all the light that comes in through the window. I was with my friend and told her I could sit on there all day!

Made our way to Likewise last weekend and it was the perfect spot to spend a snowy morning. We ordered the Sweater Weather, a latte with pumpkin, and the hot apple chai-der. The latte was delicious, with a strong espresso taste and just hints of pumpkin. The apple chai-der was exactly what you would expect it to be: cider with chai. I love the high ceilings in the space and how much seating is available. Can't wait to come back!

Had an unusual speciality coffee drink made with beet and fennel (never encountered that before!) It was subtle in flavor and not too sweet. This cafe has wonderful light and pleasing decor. The coffee beans are from a good roaster- Wonderstate- but they have chosen only their lighter roasts. So if you like robust coffee, you might be disappointed, unless you are adding flavor from a syrup. Great pumpkin chocolate chip loaf!

Cool coffee shop atmosphere with many plants and great music playing overhead! We got a few lattes and they were large and hot, with foam art. They have a small selection of pastries --we got some banana bread, which was fine.

great service nice environment but small so there might not be seating and coffee is great not acidic like many other specialty coffee shops but not bitter like dark roast.

Vanilla bean latte was delicious. Came back for a 2nd one the next day and my husband had to have one after he tasted mine the day before. You can really taste the quality of the organic coffee and natural sweetners.

Super Instagrammable space, very friendly staff, but my coffee wasn't very tasty.

The coffee was good. The girl that took my order wasn't very welcoming, made me feel awkward interacting with her. She was also rushing me throughout the order. There was no line. It was 3pm. Nowhere near closing time. Wasn't sure what her problem was, i don't know if I came at a bad time, like if she was talking about something major with her coworker. It was just a little annoying that it seemed like I did something wrong when I was just going there to meet somebody for coffee
