The 38 Best Restaurants in Indianapolis, Indiana | Eater

"Born in the Philippines and raised in Fishers, Carlos Salazar switched from accounting to food in early adulthood. Along the way, he has become one of Indiana’s most celebrated chefs for his masterfully prepared noodles and Asian dishes with dashes of Western cuisines, which he serves at the Garage Food Hall. Stellar combinations include beef birria ramen with wagyu tallow, Mexican herbs, Chihuahua cheese, and bao stuffed with braised steak, giardiniera, and Kewpie mayo. Vibe check: Come with a friend who can scope out some seats during busy weekends; otherwise you might have to eat your ramen standing up." - Brian Garrido

These noodles were amazing. The portion was perfect, and the heat was on point. The staff was friendly and service oriented. I wish I lived local because I would definitely be back!

Food is so so so GOOD! I see mixed reviews and am shocked! Probably bc I don’t care if I’m greeted or what-not. I honestly don’t want to talk/ I want to order and eat. The food always comes up quick and hottt. I typically add or subtract things and they never care and always get it right. I have ordered everything but the ramen (it’s hot as hell here), and always leave happy. My favorite item is pictured - Dan Dan noodles, minus peanuts, add jammy egg. Ends up $21 and I can eat this for 2-3 meals. (Female in 30s, average build).

Dan Dan Noodles were great! It was a reimagining of the traditional Dan Dan Noodles from Sichuan with pickled onions garnished on top. I wish I had asked for a spicier bowl since I love spicy food. Great place to get a bite inside The Garage Hall!

We usually get the dan dan noodles, which are a solid 10/10. We occasionally try the dumplings; they're a bit hit or miss depending on the day, but overall it's still a good, quick, and filling meal.

Very solid fast casual noodle bar for a food hall setting. The Dan Dan noodle’s flavor was on point with a great balance of spicy and sweet that wasn’t overpowered by the sesame. I wish the noodles were a little more al dente, but they weren’t over done by any means.

I almost skipped this place because of some mixed reviews, but after reading through them, I noticed a lot of contradictions, so I decided to trust my gut and check it out for myself. And I’m so glad I did! My wife and I are big ramen fans, we try it pretty much anywhere we travel, and this cozy little spot totally hit the mark. I ordered the chicken ramen and added a side of their house-made pickled Thai chili sauce… wow. It was flavorful, spicy in the best way, and just what I was craving. I also couldn’t resist trying the pork and leek dumplings, no regrets there! Super tasty. Bonus points to the awesome staff: the person at the register was so kind and patient, happily walking me through the menu and answering questions. Everyone behind the counter was laughing and enjoying themselves, which honestly made the whole vibe even better. You could feel that positive energy in the food. Highly recommend giving this place a shot—it’s a not so hidden gem in a fun food court!

Pretty good. Dumplings weren't to my preference, but I would give them another try with a different dish in the future.
