I used to love coming here and have been a regular for years, so I'm genuinely disappointed to be writing this. Maybe it was just Memorial Day staffing, but the experience was awful. I came in with my 1-year-old daughter to order sandwiches, and the man at the counter was surprisingly rude. He told me it would be a 20-minute wait and insisted I pay upfront, which has never been the norm here.
I went for a walk while we waited, then came back to pick up the food. He kept saying "it's coming, it's coming," but I noticed someone already sitting down eating exactly what we ordered. Clearly they gave our food to someone else. After waiting another 15 minutes, I heard him finally tell the kitchen to make our order again.
Then I heard more confusion and realized they gave our replacement sandwiches to someone else too. At this point, it had been 40 extra minutes on top of the 20 initial, my daughter was upset, and I asked for a refund. Instead of honoring that, the man rushed back, grabbed the (finally correct) sandwiches, shoved them in a bag, and handed them to me to go.
Really hoping this was a one-off with poor holiday staffing and not a sign of where things are headed.
