How to Spend a Big Fat Weekend in Prince Edward Island in Canada | Bon Appétit
"In my history of eating lobster rolls (it’s a long one), not once have I ever thought “Wow, they really hooked it up. There’s so much lobster in this!”Richard’schanged that. The small 20+ year-old restaurant is so popular that there's actually a sign outside that reads "Restaurant Line Here." And for good reason: I got there 15 minutes before opening and still had to wait behind three people. By the time they were taking the first order, I'd estimate the line was at least 20 people deep. But it was worth it. My roll had about half a lobster in it, including an entire claw. The lobster meat was tossed in a just-light-enough mayo, celery, chive and lemon sauce, then piled high inside a perfectly toasted bun. Also, don’t sleep on the fried scallops with their audibly-crispy, panko-like breading. Pretty sure it's illegal to come to PEI without coming to Richard's, just get there early." - ByRachel Karten
Excellent lobster roll. The bun was fresh and buttery. There was plenty of lobster and it tasted fresh and flavorful. They also had fresh cut fries. It was $33 for the lobster and fries so on expensive side but better than any other roll we had and much better than Dave's.

Tried several and this is by far the best. Others use chopped (scrap?) lobster and much less of it. This is whole chunks of fresh lobster that you must eat some of before you can pick it up! Delicious. Also super fast!

Best lobster roll I’ve had and I’ve eaten a lot of them on PEI. If you like your rolls with huge chunks, this is for you. Fries are also great. Easily double the lobster that some places put in their rolls.

Wow, this roll has some serious weight to it. Absolutely stuffed with meat. It was so delicious, the fries were also on point. Great outdoor patio to eat at. Also beers on tap!

If you love fresh lobster roll stuffed & overflowing with a unique coleslaw (with a hint of mustard) this is the place. It’s a quick but delicious stop, with the option to chase your lobster with a nice selection of ice cream. Thanks!

The lobster roll was phenomenal! Over the top even compared with the best of New Brunswick and Maine. Fresh, generous, delicious! It is on a nice patio outside a wonderful little oyster bar - Brackley Bay Oyster Co. I’m glad I didn’t miss either!!

Food was delicious but really expensive. Long line to order but wait for the food was not too bad.
Rooftop seating had a nice view as well

Yelp
Great food, and if it's possible, maybe better than the larger restaurant locations! We've found this place quicker than the other locations and very quaintly co-located with Oh Hey and Brackley Bay Oysters. A stop I'd definitely add to your list if in Brackley!
