Very tasty burger. Thick and juicy and not over cooked. Great fries, too. Shoe string style. The grilled shrimp tacos are also very good.

Going for a colleague farewell and to my surprise it’s relatively busy for a weekday night. The location is ideal given huge parking lot the space has. The ordering system is more like your place your order at the cashier before finding your seats. There’s quite a line when I was there but it moved swift! They do offer nibbles like taco, fries, and burgers. I didn’t have any but my friends who got their fish tacos did enjoy them. Appreciate the extensive drink menu, especially their cocktails and sangria, even the non-alcoholic option. I got their Prickly Pear Mocktail (yep it’s non-alcoholic) and did enjoy the flavor! Great option for just casual hangout with outdoorsy bar vibe. They did make great spot for watch party!

Ate an early dinner here recently while traveling. It’s all outside but nicely covered with umbrellas and large heaters. It’s a fun, open and relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious. Some of the best tacos I’ve had. Be sure to try the cauliflowers ones - wonderful flavor! Overall a wonderful, relaxing dinner. I’d definitely visit again.

I recently dined at Lil' Simmzy's on the Deck at The Point and I have to say, it was a unique and enjoyable experience. I wouldn't compare it to the original Simmzy's in Manhattan Beach as it has its own distinct vibe. Although the price was a bit steep, you are definitely paying for the atmosphere and a great burger and drinks. The burger and drinks were the stars of the meal and lived up to the hype. The smoky grill flavor was delicious and truly elevated the burger to one of the best I've had at a restaurant in the area. The Asada fries were not up to par but that did not detract from the overall experience. The service was great and the staff were friendly. It's a happy, lively place with a lot of energy and children running around, so if you're looking for a more laid-back dining experience this might not be the place for you. However, if you're in the mood for a delicious burger and a fun atmosphere, I highly recommend checking out Lil' Simmzy's on the Deck at The Point

Google
Props to Alex who tirelessly wheeled an additional heating tower to the table I was sitting at because I’m a “weak to the cold” California girl. I didn’t even ask him to. It’s so rare to find customer service employees who possess the ability to 1) predict a customer’s needs without being asked, 2) act autonomously for the customers best interest, 3) to do those arduous tasks with a genuinely joyful attitude. I should know, I worked in hospitality for 20 years! Food is always great and the wings never disappoint Thanks again, Alex!

Google
I hosted a work happy hour here for 30 people. Everything went very smoothly. The staff did a great job working with me on the catering menu before the event and helping out with various little things during it. The food was tasty, especially the spicy fish tacos. Thanks, Simmzy!

Google
Casual spot in the center of The Point. Came here for drinks with coworkers on a Thursday evening. I was peeved to find that they do accept reservations, though when I had called the day before, the worker told me that no reservations were accepted. I was unable to make a reservation online as well. However, there was not just one, but two tables sequestered by reservation signs, and my group of 12 had to make do with two small tables and borrowing chairs from multiple other tables. That was definitely inconvenient. There’s no happy hour menu. There are plenty of beer options. The pitcher of sangria is good for four people and is good as a refreshing summer drink. The food portions are on the smaller side, so order more than you think. The wings and the haystack fries were the popular options of the night. The karaage chicken was okay and the guacamole was standard. Credit cards are accepted. Free parking available in the outside parking lot. Kid-friendly spot. Outdoor dining only.

Katy G.

Google
Fast and easy service if you want a quick sangria drink 🍷 I tried their shrimp taco 6/10 and the carne asada taco 7/10 had more flavor than the shrimp one but still skimpy on the portions. The drinks were great 👍🏽 Service was fast and attentive.

Yelp
Perfect Weekend Spot for Families and Sunshine This is such a fun place to bring the family, especially on a sunny weekend. The Point has a great open promenade feel, with turf in the middle where kids can run around, kick a soccer ball, and stay entertained with small activities... while the grown-ups relax nearby. This restaurant is right in the center of it all. It's a little shack with a huge outdoor patio, and it's perfect for grabbing a pitcher of beer and some casual bites. We usually go early afternoon on weekends and treat it like a picnic: nachos, the taco combo (the fish tacos are especially good), and plenty of kid-friendly options. The staff is always super friendly. It can get packed depending on the weekend, but if you're okay grabbing a spot on the lawn, there's always room to enjoy. Plus, there are lots of retail shops nearby and an ice cream spot around the corner to wrap things up. Highly recommend on a warm summer day. It's relaxed, lively, and a great family outing.

Yelp
This is a great spot to have lunch while shopping. Situated in the center of the shopping plaza with nice and airy outdoor seating. We placed our order and found a seat after the guy behind the counter poured me a winter ale from Smog City. There is a good choice of cocktails and craft brews. I opted for the Simmzy burger med rare with a side salad. The burger tasted great, although be prepared for a two handed grip, as it is pretty thick and the juices will be running down your arms! I was very disappointed with the salad, as some of the greens were rotten. I'd still come back to try other menu items.
google avatar

Yelp
The location centered in the middle of an outdoor fine shopping area makes Simmzys a fun place to spend time outdoors while watching the kids play in the adjacent playground. Their chicken wings are worth the wait and I love all the burgers and crispy golden fries. There's a great selection of salads as well. Fresh brewed iced tea for the win.
google avatar

Yelp
It was my first time at this place and I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and a fish taco. I liked the burrito, but my husband didn't like it as much as another restaurant. The taco battered fish itself had no flavor, seasoning, nor zest. If it wasn't for the other ingredients, sauce, etc., it would have zero flavor.

Yelp
Lil Simmzys is a beach bar in the city in the middle of a shopping mall. There's no inside seating only outside with a cool chill vibe. They have burgers, plenty of appetizers, drinks and more. To place your order you just walk up to the bar area then have a seat and they will bring your food to your table. I came by on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was not too crowded. I ordered a Korean chicken sandwich with mixed greens and chips with guacamole and salsa. The food was ready super fast and it was delicious. There's plenty of parking and the restrooms just around the way.

Yelp
This place was a cool spot for a small birthday gathering. The service was pretty good and the food was hot and cooked well.

Yelp
As a big fan of Simmzy's Manhattan Beach and Venice (RIP), I was excited to try this even more casual version on my recent stop at The Point. I usually go to a quick bite at Mendo while I'm here but thought it would be nice to stay a while and try out Lil Simmzys. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment, especially the quality of the food and the lacking customer service. We ordered several tacos plus the elote style grilled corn on the cob. The corn was very burnt and the tacos were fine. But the problem really was with the kids meal I ordered for my child. You order at the counter and I asked the worker their recommendation and was told the quesadilla would be easier to eat for my child rather than a burger. When it arrived the quesadilla was almost inedible, it was very hard to chew and dry, not possible for my kid to eat. As an adult I could barely chew it as well. I brought this to the worker's attention and said I wanted a kids burger instead and they not only didn't offer to replace the inedible quesadilla but then said I would not be able to pay for just a new kids burger. They said I would have to buy a whole new kids meal (with another drink and fries) for $10.99 (plus tax and tip) because they don't sell the kids burger by itself. I didn't want my kid to starve so I just bought it, and then when it arrived the burger meat was extremely dry and not tasty at all. It was not the usual good quality you would find at a regular Simmzys location. This was a huge waste of money and I really regret coming here. My kid ended up only being able to eat some of the fries. The crazy thing is that we you order your food at the counter, they ask you to leave a default tip of 18 / 20 / 22% before you get your food. It's wild they ask for this much tip when they clearly don't provide good service here on top of the terrible food quality.

Yelp
Lil' Simmzy's got a lil' somethin' goin' on. A perfect place to chill before your dinner reservations, playing sports channels and offering great brews. Unable to select from all the options, the tender offered samples of all drinks I had interest in. Settling for the Sabre-Tooth Squirrel guest brew was a great choice! Get it before it's out of rotation: just a bit hoppy with a great finish. The vibes are immaculate, the service is great, and the beer was delicious. What more can you ask for?
google avatar

Yelp
For food we only had chips w guac and a caesar salad which was pretty good. For the price of the guac and chips I thought it would've been a bigger portion but it only came in a side dressing container. I also which they would offer brick oven pizzas like their other locations be unfortunately they don't. As for drinks we love the margaritas here, it's located in the middle of the point (all outdoor seating) but I definitely think it's a nice spot if you want low-key hang out spot to lay back and chill.

Yelp
First time here but a group of us came to celebrate a friend. Lil' Simmzy's was accommodating our group of 10. It helped that we changed our reservation to the time they opened. Located at the POINT on Pacific Coast Highway and Rosecrans. Loads of choices to eat and shop so parking is at a premium. The POINT is popping! TIP: Check in on Yelp for a 10% discount on your food order. Counter service and the food is delivered which is challenging for a group but service is pretty quick as they cook to order. Fully outdoor patio seating with umbrellas. It was lovely. Food choices are plentiful and it was all delicious. Ok, bye.
google avatar

Rob G.

Yelp
Came here for drinks before dinner with friends at another spot. You can order at the bar, or use the QR code at the table. If you have kids (we left ours back home before we got too messy) there's tons of artificial green space for them to run aound. Beer on draft is solid, and tiki drinks about. The Paloma was very refreshing. Great prompt service on this busy night too.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
This is located at The Point. You place your order at the counter and get a number. When the food is ready, they will bring it to your table. All seatings are outdoors, some in the shade and some in the sun. We ordered a few things to share: Fried Cauliflower - delicious. It's not too greasy and light on the breading. Carna Asada Fries- shoestring fries. It was good but not a lot of toppings. Pork Belly - it was good but definitely not your traditional pork belly boa. Tacos- good Overall, it was a good experience.

Yelp
Really fun place to eat. Great atmosphere and ambiance. Food is really good. Fresh and unique. Friendly employees. This place reminded me of being in Hawaii. Definitely coming back here.

Grayson A.

Yelp
I love this place! It took a little longer than expected to get our meal, which is to be expected on a Friday evening. The salmon burger is incredible and will be coming back very soon to have it again.
google avatar

Kamron H.

Yelp
Great place to grab brunch beer and food prices are fair especially in this economy, thank lord! The breakfast tostada is really delicious. Service here is great too--while their patio is spread out staff here is on top of it in finding you and getting you your order in time
google avatar

Yelp
We enjoy more Simmzy's and Tin Roof. While Lil' Simmzy's is easier when we have kids soccer team get togethers - the lawn, the kid friendly hut for climbing, and the self seating, we have found the food ice cold, underwhelming flavor and lacking service. Now that I think more about it: I think the entire experience is like getting a kids' meal. Paper plate. Bare minimum cold burger. Paltry fries cause my little boy doesn't need adult servings of fries. It's exactly like getting a kids meal. The drinks are also not anything to write home about. You can grab a can of beer from their self serve fridge. This might sound great to someone else. To me, I have beer at home that I can retrieve myself from the fridge. I'd prefer something special about dining in
google avatar

Yelp
Lil Simzys hits the mark as a great spot for anyone craving delicious burgers, hearty sandwiches, and a solid selection of beer. The burgers are juicy and flavorful.
google avatar

Meg F.

Yelp
Stopped by Lil Simmy's On Deck for dinner. The food was well-prepared -- the wings were seasoned properly, sides were balanced, and portions were fair for the price. Service was polite, though a bit slow due to the crowd. Seating is limited, and the space can feel a little tight during busy hours. The overall atmosphere is casual and unpretentious. While not exceptional, the experience met expectations. It's a solid option for comfort food in the area, especially if you're looking for something straightforward and flavorful. Would consider returning, though not something I'd go out of my way for. Wings were expensive for only 6 wings but tasty, sweet potato fries were solid, salad was solid, tacos were great, definitely come for taco Tuesday pricing.

Yelp
Good burgers and great variety of toppings Service is great And the seating at Pacific city in HB is great and view is amazing

Yelp
I am prefacing this review by stating the I just stopped by here for a quick drink (no food) as I was checking out the The Point, the shopping a mall that contains Lil' Simmzy's. I at first did not realize they actually serve some of their own beers, but once I saw that I went with their Hazy IPA option. Along with that I also got a cocktail, the Paloma. The beer was pretty good, standard along with most the other Hazy IPA's that I've had. I'll say that this one was a little less hoppy than others I've had. The Paloma was one of the better ones I have tasted. It's made with mezcal instead of the usual tequila, so you can taste that "smokey" difference which I find people either enjoy or don't. I like the ancho salt rim on the drink, both for taste & look. Service was pretty good and the place has a relaxed beachy vibe and nice overall feel. I think it's all outside seating which is fitting for the overall vibe and works well for being in the The Point. Ordered at the counter and self seated. I'd come here again to sip on a drink while I take a break from shopping. The only one, somewhat larger, somewhat understandable downfall was the amount of dust at the table. When I grabbed a napkin, I noticed how dirty my hands got just from touching it due to the amount of dust/dirt in general at the table since it's outside seating. Cheers!

Yelp
I met up with friends at this location. Everything about the experience was very good! Service, food, menu selections, outdoor seating, views of The Point shopping center. Plenty of nearby parking in a private parking lot. All good!
google avatar

Yelp
I had a great lunch there with my coworkers. We were a party if 10 and they were able to reserve us a table. I had the Crispy Korean Sandwich. It was very good with pickles and tangy with a bit of spicy and sweet. It's messy, but enjoyable!

Charles G.

Yelp
Fine with Inkind and 65% off. Otherwise, $70 for a couple tacos, salad and two beers is absurd. I get it. Restaurants are pricey and have high expenses. And this place isn't much pricier than many others. But they're all grossly overpriced.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Fast casual outdoor-only eatery conveniently located on the border of El Segundo and Manhattan Beach. The burger was average though huge, and the real showstopper for us was the Korean Chicken Sandwich. We both agreed it was the best chicken Sando we've ever tried! Service was efficient but impersonal as one might expect from a fast casual spot.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
The burgers are not as good as the regular Simmzy's or Tin Roof restaurants. Overcooked and the onions were not regular chow chow onions, super weird coloring and flavor off. The guy couldn't find us and was walking around forever, so our food was cold. I had to go find him and wave him down. I asked a girl working there if she could wipe down a dirty table and she rolled her eyes, said nothing a long acted offended. Sorry I didn't want a dirty table? I asked nicely and she was super rude. Service sucks, food isn't as good as the other locations. Won't be back.
google avatar

MaDonna W.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this little restaurant... We got there before our concert we sat outside and the table was so dirty... We could not sit down or place anything on the table until it was cleaned... ( that's kind of a pet peeve for me) We enjoyed a Caesar salad with chicken and a pokey taco with an apple cranberry salad, they were all tasty but the Apple cranberry one was the best... Everyone at our table had ordered a mixed drink so I decided to order a glass of white wine , unfortunately it came out to me luke warm... :-(

Yelp
Food was very good. The service was prompt and the casual outdoor seating is perfect for a nice afternoon.

Yelp
Lil' Simmzy's is a fantastic restaurant spot at The Point in El Segundo. First off, it is in a great location at the center hub of The Point. Smaller location with respect to number of tables, so if needed you can have your meal packed up and sit on the turf lawn with your kids, etc. For parents this place is key as it has great options for all ages and the kiddos can go back to playing with their friends on the lawn while you watch over them. Food quality and variety is very good. Also great options as far as beverages...really enjoy their ice cold red sangria and the Mules. Definitely a great place to take the family!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great outdoor relaxing tasty scrumptious with friendly staff and just all-round awesomeness.

Shamika M.

Yelp
Took my work to The Point in a beautiful Thursday and stumbled across this super cute beach themed food joint. Assuming this is the little sister to Simmzys at the beach. The whole vibe was chill with great music and since it was a warm day we opted for a refreshing salad and had the chicken, goat cheese, apple, and walnut salad and it was fantastic. It came with a honey Dijon vinaigrette and added just the right touch. Definitely worth a try especially because they have some delicious looking tacos and drinks I want to try!
google avatar

Carrie H.

Yelp
Been to Simmzy's in MB. This of course is a smaller version with limited outdoor seating. Luckily, we found seats on the high top table. The weather was perfect that day. My blackened salmon burger with a side salad was delicious! My husband enjoyed his burger & fries. Had a few drinks also. I ordered the Raspberry margarita which was just ok. Nothing special. Casual ambience for couples & families. Staff & service was also good.

Yelp
When you think of places to eat at The Point, Lil' Simmzy's does not immediately cross your mind, especially when it comes to burgers. However, after eating here, it most definitely will cross my mind the next time I'm in the mood for a delicious burger. Located in the middle of the plaza, you can't miss this place. The decor is pretty interesting, gives you a modern treehouse vibe that is accompanied with heat lamps to make for a great outdoor dining experience. I wish they would've done a better job cleaning the tables. You seat yourself and all of the tables were sticky and not wiped down properly. I got the simmzy's burger with fries and it was delicious! I love the brioche bun and appreciated how juicy the patty was. It sounds like such a simple burger when you read the menu but it was amazing! The fries were also delicious. It was the perfect crispiness and it went well with the garlic aioli. Don't overlook this place for a solid burger & fries!

Sydney O.

Yelp
Food & Drinks are so good. The atmosphere is best on a sunny day, I love coming here!

Harvey

Yelp
Simmzy's does it again! Same great food and beer as the Simmzy's you know and love - this time with an all outdoor deck, great spot for families. You pay when you order which is convenient because you can leave whenever you're ready. Very casual. Wings are amazing, beer is great, known for their burgers but worth trying other items or anything new. I always order the haystack fries.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Burger is good. My carne asada taco was dry and mediocre at best but I guess that is on me for ordering a taco at a burger joint. The cauliflower taco was yummy, if you like cauliflower. Otherwise, I'd skip the tacos and get the chicken tenders because some of my coworkers ordered them and those of us who didn't were full of envy.
google avatar

Audra B.

Yelp
I met up with some friends here and we loved it! We ate our food before we thought to snap pics, however, we shared fries, a burger, a side salad and the grown up chicken fingers! Everything was great! We didn't have time for cocktails, but this is a perfect summery happy hour spot. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Food and location is great. However, the cashier is horrible. Terrible attitude. Remember, you're in the service industry, if you're not happy, find another job.
google avatar

Vivian V.

Yelp
Lil Simmzy's is tucked away in the middle of The Point by Van Leeuwen's. There are a bunch of umbrellas and colorful chairs to mark the restaurant area. As I was standing in line, the waitresses brought out a free drink (margarita). What a nice surprise & great service. Ordered the Simmzy's burger and a lil Simmzy's burger. The regular is one thick patty and the Lil is two thinner patties. Would recommend--burgers and drinks were solid
google avatar

Jessi O.

Yelp
Hands down the best restaurant Mike simzy has. They have consistently had some of the same people working here for years. Great service, great food and great energy. We have been coming here since 2017 and have never been disappointed. The cooks are amazing and the staff is always great to chat with.
google avatar

Steve L.

Yelp
Lil Simzys was already outdoor seating only. I wasn't planning on eating here, but they had life music, the weather was beautiful, how could I not stop and try it out. The staff is hustling, cleaning, staying safe, and providing service with a smile. There is a full deck of seating as well as a few tables around the deck with a great view of the fountain. The restaurant is in the middle of The Pointe shopping center... Grab a table and then go up to the counter to order your food and drinks. You will get a number and then will deliver it to you. I started with a Moscow Mule. It was great... and perfect for the weather and music. The vibe is so good on this patio. The bacon wrapped poppers were delicious... i didn't need the sauce that came with it. Was tempted to order a second batch, but I had more food coming. The two tacos were street taco style.. a little surf and turf. The carne asada was good, the poke was better in a unique way. It was like a wrapped poke bowl lol. The salad rounded out my meal. something that could be munched on while enjoying the ambiance of the deck and music. The shrimp were grilled perfectly and full of flavor. Definitely will take time to slow down. during the week and come more often.
google avatar

Toshi I.

Yelp
Loved the burgers and the sweet potato fries were perfect. It was enough to split. Also tried the shrimp tacos which were great. A little expensive for the tacos but very tasty. Service was great. Everything was exceptionally clean and the patio has some live entertainment. Will be back.

Yelp
Amazing staff! Great food and local beers! Went in to grab a bite and watch the soccer game.

Yelp
Another Simmzys success for the books! I usually go to the original Simmzys location in Manhattan beach or Huntington Beach, but been wanting to try this Lil one w my twin & niece. Manager lady, so kind & helpful! Food quality: Great Food Taste: Yum I'm not usually a ranch gal, but their buttermilk ranch is creamy crack! My sister & I went through 3 dip portions for 2 order of fries haha I'm usually a sweet potato fries person, but their regular fries were claim jumper status delish! Definitely recommend the regular fries w the ranch dip! My twin inhaled her shrimp tacos too & loved them Definitely will be returning & loveee the outdoor seating . Super chill vibe Only con: no indoor seating for those who prefer inside (I def don't prefer inside haha)

Yelp
Nice place and great vibes being in the center of The Point, but the food was a little underwhelming. Came here for lunch and stuck to ordering tacos, the corn (asked for it to be off the cob) and the chips with guacamole and salsa. The guacamole portion was mini which was disappointing but overall the taste of the chips, guacamole , and salsa were good... just good. Tacos.. I had one shrimp and one fish. The fish taco was good, but the shrimp one was pretty disappointing. It just lacked in flavor I was hoping for. It did have a cool twist of fried peppers I think or fried tamatillo chunks.. not sure which but it was good and a nice ingredient to add flavor. The corn off the cob was also just okay. Nothing bad about any of the food here we had, but with all the delicious options around, I was expecting more flavor. Would still try this place again though and look forward to trying their drinks.

Yelp
I guess you wouldn't go wrong with any restaurant at the point. The point has a great vibe especially in the evening with equal amount of family and younger crowd hanging out at different restaurants nearby. Lil Simmzy's is very casual laid back place at the center of the point on the deck. Has some pretty good starters to choose from and nice patio style seating available. We went for happy hour from our work place. The service was great and quick. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, one chicken taco and the mango flavored boba. The grilled chicken was little hard and didn't have much flavor, the fries and boba was good however the boba was little too sweet for me, may be like other regular boba shop I should have requested for half sweet. From value perspective, I still feel like the food does not do full justice to the cost but for the location may be they have to charge that much, may be.....

Ordered the breakfast sandwich yesterday morning and got extremely ill a few hours later. Hoping I can save others from the same fate.

Yelp
outdoor seating only. Great playlist. Counter ordering with no indoor seating. On a beautiful day it was great. Thai sticky wings- 4-5 stars Elote- 3 star El poutine fries- 3 stars. Flavor was delicious but it didn't have a cheese sauce. Carne asada was so tender and we'll seasoned. California Chicken sandwich - 4.5 stars Simmzy's- with beyond burger patty- 3 stars. The burger was delicious but beyond meat has an unpleasant taste.
