How the Rosé Boom Sparked Philly’s Wine Renaissance | Eater Philly

"At Bloomsday, owner and sommelier Zach Morris actively seeks local wine, is outspoken about vermouth, and has had each new release of his small-batch, house-made “Dumpster Juice Vermut” sell out within hours." - Eater

Large (over 30,000 runners in 2023) 7.45 mile run held the first Sunday of May. Run is well organized, the t-shirts fun, bands add to the excitement, and the finish line is scenic. I definitely recommend checking out Bloomsday.

I have been doing Bloomsday for 14 years. It has been a fun tradition to stay in shape and enjoy the scenery.

Bloomsday is truly the hallmark event for Spokane! It brings together people of all ages and backgrounds for a family friendly day. in addition, it is so much more than just the race. The convention to get your bib number is truly special, and then the afterparty of the race just radiates Spokane pride. All of the volunteers rock! Honestly one of the best parts about Bloomsday is the people, standing along the road, only there to cheer you on and give you refreshment. An awesome event!

Unless the current president of the Bloomsday association steps down this race is going to be run into the ground!! Pun intended.
