Lilac Hedge Farm

The staff is always very friendly and the views are amazing. We love going and seeing the animals and playing in the playground. The shop has reasonable prices and quite a nice selection. You must try the ice cream it is very very delicious. We have been several times and can't wait to go back again.

This place is the perfect place for a fall outing! The food is amazing! Pizza, burgers, pulled pork - all delicious! They have a wide variety of beers and mixed drinks. Plenty of seating and on the weekends they have live music and it’s really good! Ice cream is some of the best I’ve had! For $2 you can walk through their “backyard” and see the farm animals, my daughter loved that and she also loved the playground! They also have a bouncy house for $5. On the way out check out their store for all locally sourced items and fresh meat and produce!

Always have a great time here. Food is fresh, beer and cider selection is local and excellent. Be prepared for fresh food being made AFTER you order it. It's not as fast as some restaurants, especially on busy days, because they optimize for quality over speed. It's worth the extra 5-10m wait, but if the line is out the door you might wait 40+ Their farm store is also always well stocked and is a little above supermarket price where you might expect to pay much more for general cost of meat and veggies. Bring your kids for the Backyard, a dedicated space, bring your pets for the plentiful seating and no worries parking, or come for one of the weekend events where there's normally a long wait for food, but it is worth it.

I headed out to lilac to check out the store because I wanted to do mail order meat but I wanted to see the meat and speak to people about the bundles. And an amazing conversation with the woman at the desk. She answered all of my questions. She's very generous with her insight. I was Very pleased. We had lunch the most amazing salad I've ever eaten and a burger. The views, the atmosphere, everything phenomenal! I only wish it was closer to home so I could visit more regularly.

Grate place, fun, pretty, good food and better drinks. There's a country store, ice cream and lemonade stand. They have live music and there's a petting zoo and jumping area for the kids. There's a lot of tables with umbrellas and the view is spectacular. We had a great afternoon with lunch, drinks and music. Oh yeah, and they have a camel, a CAMEL!!!!!

This was our first order from Lilac Farms, it will definitely not be our last! The first meal with products from the farm was Italian Pork Chops…I am ready to order more! The chops were nice and thick with amazing flavor. Chicken Picatta was the next meal, the chicken did not disappoint! Great flavor, nice texture which made for a wonderful dinner. One could defiantly tell the meat was NOT from the chain store supermarket!

After buying my meat from the supermarket for years, I finally did research and found Lilac Hedge Farm, a local-to-me farm that offers a variety of responsibly-raised meats. I ordered a bunch of different cuts, and was impressed by the variety offered. Everything came frozen and packed well. So far, I've prepared chicken, pork chops and a steak (all grilled) and the flavors were all fantastic - loved by the whole family. I am really happy to have found a source of quality, local meat. Will be purchasing more in the future.

We are so thrilled with the quality of the meat we ordered -- it tastes so much better than what we get at the grocery store. Delivery was easy and everything came well packaged and labeled. We're also happy to support a local farm.
