"Croc" Lile was super friendly and showed us everything we desired in the art collection he offers. Lile is so nice and welcoming that he recommended several places of great food and drink. Along with a lifetime friendship. SEMPER FI. from Kevin "Tutt" Tuttle, of Kentucky.

Lile Art Gallery is a must stop! Bob greeted us, was very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. We were traveling Route 66 and he had some great tips and recommendations. A couple weeks after our visit, he was super helpful when I wanted to purchase one of his charms for a birthday present. Just a wonderful place and an asset to Amarillo.

Beautiful art gallery! Met and visited with Bob! His art work, has something for everyone! I was really inspired by the jewelry made with paint from cars from Cadillac Ranch! Really cool! His paintings are really unique! We were traveling but hope to one day, have one on my wall! Did buy a couple cool Bob Lyle tee shirts!

When you visit Lile Art Gallery you'll be greeted by Bob Lile, the owner of the gallery. He's very friendly and loves to talk about Route 66 💛. His gallery is known for the unique Cadilite jewelry crafted by Bob Lile himself. I've got three pieces of his Cadilite Jewelry and each piece is unique unlike the others. I enjoy visiting with Bob Lile! I highly recommend his gallery to locals and travelers. Get your kicks on Route 66 at Lile Art Gallery.

Lile Art Gallery Route 66 Amarillo, Texas May 1, 2022 Back in May we decided to take a drive to Route 66 Amarillo, Texas from Route 66 Tucumcari, New Mexico. The weather was a little worrisome during our drive but we had one purpose and that was to meeting with Bob Lile Of The Lile Art Gallery. A visit to Amarillo would not be complete without a visit with Bob. As we arrived we knew that this was going to be a great day. We have heard from many people that he was a great guy to meet. Bob was great and the amount of knowledge and information he has was greatly appreciated. I will say one thing is that he is probably one of the friendliest, most easy going, and mellow people that I have met on our road trips. He was quite accommodating at the gallery We walked around the Art Gallery for a while. We did stay for a while just looking at the Art. From the beautiful Route 66 Prints, the handmade jewelry, the paintings, sculptures, and rock art there is something for everyone here. We first walked I'm I immediately had my eye on some prints which we later purchased. Finally meeting Bob was one of the highlights of our Road Trips. After leaving he actually messaged me about a hail storm heading our way. I really appreciated the message. So if your visiting Route 66 Amarillo, Texas please make sure to visit The Lile Art Gallery and say "Hi" to Bob.

Located on Historic 6th Street, Lile Art Gallery has been on my list since I read about Bob “Crocodile” Lile’s “Cadilite” jewelry made from the paint chips from the cars at Cadillac Ranch! He has many other works of art on display, both his own and other artists, and was very happy to offer advice on other sites to see along Route 66. Such a nice guy! Will treasure the earrings I bought!

What an awesome man Bob Lile is. Extremely talented and such a wealth or art knowledge as he shares the stage with other artists he gladly displays in his gallery. This is a must stop on Route 66 in Amarillo. James bought me a beautiful Cadilite necklace. (Made from paint chips taken from the Cadillac Ranch cars.)

The Lile Art Gallery is a must see on Route 66. Bob Lile has beautiful original works of art that are his creations as well as artwork by other local artists. He is a wealth of information. We learned about other cool things to see that were not in our travel books. Talking with him enhanced the rest of our trip. His Cardite jewelry is a unique Route 66 treasure.

Yelp
What an awesome stop on my Route 66 trip! I heard about this place through word of mouth and I was so impressed I wanted to get this gallery on Yelp! Bob Lile is the owner and his dog, Lady works there as well. Don't forget to give her pets! Don't pet Bob though. He is really talented. It's such a cool space, it was one of my favorite stops along the way. I heard that he makes jewelry out of the Cadillac paint from Cadillac ranch. I had to see for myself because I couldn't imagine it. He showed me all around and he displays other artists Route 66 themed art as well. It's all amazing-I'll take one of each! He showed me what he does to make his jewelry. Gosh, it was fascinating I can't say enough nice things! I wish I had been able to chat longer but I was in a time crunch. I did buy a necklace and due to a tiny mix up I got the wrong necklace! So I'm sending it back and he's sending me the right one! That is really awesome customer service! His art is not cheap but it is reasonably priced! First of all it's an amazingly cool concept to create jewelry from the paint that's chipped off the cars. Second of all you're buying something that you'll have forever-if you don't lose it. Thirdly it's a conversation piece people are going to ask you about your jewelry because it's so unique and colorful. Fourthly it's a great souvenir it's better than a shot glass or a postcard or sticker.

Yelp
The Lile Art Gallery was awesome. Bob Lile has a great collection of art pieces and jewelry for sale. Stop in and visit. He can tell you about places to see on Route 66 that are not in any of the travel books. Talking to him enhanced our trip on the Mother Road. And his jewelry is beautiful.
