"Opened by the Hong Kong luxury hotel group of the same name, the already famous Peninsula Hotel is a fitting home for this Asian restaurant. In a strikingly theatrical decor, the long menu, prepared by the Chinese chef, unveils a wide range of the country's specialities (some adapted to European tastes). A culinary ambassador for China." - Michelin Inspector

Located in the beautiful Peninsula hotel in Paris, the Lili restaurant is a perfect option when you have dined too many brasseries. The vibe is modern and chic. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu is designed to be shared with others and just the right portions. We started with steamed shrimp dumplings, vegetable egg rolls. We also had blue lobster stir fry, filet of beef. The deserts was a hit with our 10 year old daughter especially the mango dish. Lili is a must

This is one of the most gorgeous restaurants I have been in. Bright blue light fixtures against red walls. Magnificent tables and decor. It was special! The food was amazing. Bao and dumplings to won ton soup and Kung Pao chicken. I was in heaven. Service was great. Wine was spectacular. Loved the location in The Peninsula Hotel in Paris. Highly recommend

This is a great restaurant - we have dined here a few times when staying in Paris. The Peking Duck is of course something everyone should try (assuming you like duck). The way the duck is served at the table is quite mesmerising. Dim Sum is my favourite and naturally, Lilli do it very well. (We have previously had the Saturday lunch buffet which was great - and highly recommended.) The excellent quality food and beautiful decor does of course come at a price but then again, all good things do,

Lili is a beautiful restaurant with very attentive staff (shout out to Maxime and Sarah!) and delicious food. It is located inside the Peninsula hotel which is gorgeous to visit especially during the Holidays with the decorations. We ordered the menu degustation which was perfect in terms of number of dishes and portion sizes. It was a nice way to sit back, relax, and try multiple things on the menu. Next time we hope to order the duck as it seems to be their signature dish and highly recommended. We can’t wait to return!!!

Wanted some dim sum when in Paris. This is located in the Peninsula hotel. The place looks great! We ordered the dim sum prefix. They gave us some purée on some fried stuff and some sugar coated walnuts. Ordinary. They served dim sum in a large bamboo steaming tray. The siu mai was not good. There was only one that stood out as being good. It was the one with the flower pedal. The rest is ordinary, not enough flavor. The fried stuff was good except for the wonton. The seasonal vegetables was good. The fried rice was lacking seasoning. As far as the dessert, the mango dessert was good. Probably the best of the whole meal. The egg tart was ok. The service was a little on the lacking side when it got busy. Wouldn’t recommend the dim sum here. I think they tailor it to more non Asians. Had much better….

Reserved a long time before my visit since I read they have the best view on the Eiffel tower. They didn’t! Turns out it’s another restaurant by the same name on the same hotel that got that view. I think one of the two should make something like this clear. However the experience I got was great. They started us with an amuse platter which was OK but frankly didn’t do its purpose which is to excite the palate. The dumping platter to be honest was simply bad. Weird flavors and textures that just didn’t do it. Then came the duck and which is by far the best I ever had. Super crisp and beautifully presented with lots of great sides as well. The noodles were really great and the fried duck although rich tasted amazing.

Google
Beautiful place at the peninsula hotel in Paris. The service was excellent. There's a DJ playing nice mood music at just the right volume. The food was fine, but not quite authentic. If you're looking for safe Chinese food with a western twist, this is a good place - especially if you don't mind very high prices. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is not the place. Proud to reach Master Reviewer status with over 41 million views of my photo collection on Google maps. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve.

Google
Truly a delightful dining experience! Their flavors were as impressive as their presentation. We ordered garlic chive dumplings, bao buns, challans chicken, lamb shoulder and fried rice.

Yelp
This is the best place dim sum in Paris, not the hole in a wall place but definitely delightful upscale yet still authentic. All the dishes we had at LiLi were good: we started off with some dim sum: the Ha Gow (shrimp dumplings) and the soup dumplings (yes they are $24 for 4 but worth it, full of explosive soup in each of these small yummy dumplings!). We shared a number of dishes including the Cantonese duck - super good! The skin is perfection! For larger party I would love to try the parking duck served 2 ways.

Yelp
This was truly a remarkable dining experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service incredible. WE had the spring rolls, hot and sour soup and the duck all of which were great. This has to be the best place I have eaten in all of France.

Yelp
This was the best place I've ever eaten at in Paris. This is my fourth trip to Paris and it is always a challenge finding good food. All the dishes we had at LiLi were good. We shared a number of dishes including the Peking duck, Kung Pao chicken, the black pepper steak dish, the lamb dish, the caramelised pork starter and a bowl of jasmine fried rice. We had a party of 6. We'll definitely go back when we are in Paris again.

Yelp
What a place! The restaurant is amazingly beautiful. The service impeccable, the food is authentic and delicious ...with some fusion creativity in select dishes. Grand Cantonese dining. Everything is perfect. My photos here won't do it justice. We started with dim sum, the traditional Hai Gao shrimp dumplings and then some French inspired dumplings with escargot as the filling. Out of this world I say... simply amazing. We follow up with a small plate, a thinly-sliced, lightly seared tuna steak topped with ginger, green onions and slight soy sauce. Our main dishes were salt and pepper shrimp with piquant and some amazing ma-po-tofu accompanied with white rice. Portions were hearty but we still had room for dessert.: A sliced mango poached in it's own juice and a tapioca pudding with taro root ice cream. All this comes at a cost inclusive of tea, bottle of Evian water, and one non-alcoholic drink: $3XX. Yes, you read correctly.

Yelp
Incredibly expensive but very good. Let's get it out of the way -- the prices here are mind-boggling: fried rice for 22 Euros, hot and sour sup for 25. 130 Euros for Peking duck. And so on. So if and only if you both love good Chinese food and you're up for a splurge and not even going to look at the prices, then, well I suggest you give this place a try. The service is impeccable. The sommelier was fantastic -- helpful in selection and appearing instantly out of nowhere at the precise moment he was needed. I had the tasting menu at a stunning 150 Euros (on the logic that it let me try more stuff and I'd surely hit 150 anyway with soup, rice, and one main course). The amuse bouche was a very nice fried shrimp, the dim sum were superb (also, the only way to get dim sum at dinner seemed via the tasting menu), the watercress soup beautifully presented and very tasty. The Peking duck came in two separate courses, the first served traditionally with hand-made pancakes (and only two small pieces of duck with skin) and the second more minced duck in lettuce cup in concept. The steamed sea bass was also very good, though mercifully they brought a fork to help eat it. The desserts were good, particularly the mango soup type thing, which was delightful and refreshing.

Yelp
The best restaurant in its category in the area. The capacity is limited, so make sure to make a reservation as you wouldn't want to miss such an experience. From the setting of the restaurant, to the extremely knowledgeable staff, finally to the food quality, there's not one detail that was missed at LiLi. I personally recommend the canard Laque (You'll need to order it with your reservation) which is the best in Paris. It will come served in 2 services, completely different yet both as delicious. Make sure to listen to your server's suggestions, as they will be tailored to your taste, and will be a guaranteed fit. Also, try some of their starters. It is a pricy place, but it's worth every penny. There is not one negative point about this venue!

Yelp
The best Chinese restaurant in all of Paris (or anywhere) by far! Amazing service, delicious and top quality ! I would highly recommend everyone to try this place! It's worth every penny. I would fly back to Paris just to eat at Lili again!! My top recommendations are the sweet and sour prawns (off the menu) , yeung chow-style fried rice, as well as the stir-fried noodles with bean sprouts and chives in dark soy sauce. The noodles alone I could eat EVERYDAY! Go and try it for yourself you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Love the decor and the food. Made same day reservations. The Peking duck was delicious, the wine menu was very amazing. Ordered a bottle of DRC Echezeux, was extraordinary.

Yelp
Lili offers a delightful selection of Cantonese and dim sum items. My wife & I shared 2 main dishes with 1 rice and had more than enough to eat. Overall the Peninsula's ambiance is spectacular and we sat in a "romantic" booth after being told the main dining room was fully booked for dinner - a common pattern at the Peninsula Paris - however the room was never more than 10% full! Lili's service was impeccable, our waiter made good recommendations and kept tabs on us throughout the meal without being overbearing.

Yelp
The Lili at The Peninsula in Paris is absolutely fantastic. From the entrance to the entire restaurant it's absolutely beautiful. Elegance with a modern twist and the food is divine. The duck and eggplant are by far the most incredible items on the menu.

Yelp
CHEAT FRAUD I would expect to be cheated from a small shop in Paris but not by the restaurant at the Peninsula. I have a blog on Peking Duck around the world having eaten at over 500 from Peking to Russia to Australia to Paris to US, etc. The Lili served in two courses and which I really liked asked if I wanted the second course cooked differently than the usual meet. For that I will give them an A+. The duck came and there were 8 small pancakes, about 10 pieces of meat (also A+ as ( like with the skin) but only about 8 small pieces of skin. I asked the waitress if she did an half duck and she said yes and I thanked her (later to understand that she did not understand me). the skin was not crisp and there was fat on it. To add to it, I asked for a dry wine and she brought a very sweet. No problem, she took it back. I have pictures of the amount of duck served and it definitely was not the whole duck. The bill came and they charged for a whole duck and the wine I refused. Had I not looked...... Then they had the nerve to say it was the whole duck and that I never asked the waitress. The manager then ended up taking the false wine and charging for only the correct amount of duck. I don't usually look at the bill at a restaurant such as this, but not only the duck plus the wine.
