Lilly's Steaks & Cocktails

Lilly’s Steakhouse in Windham, New York, is one of my favorite spots in the state. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a warm, rustic charm that makes you want to stay awhile. The food is consistently exceptional from tender steaks to comforting classics like shepherd’s pie and the service is always kind and attentive. Whether it’s quiet or fully booked, I’ve never waited long. Parking is easy, and the occasional hello from the owner adds a personal touch. I highly suggest Lily’s especially if you have a large party.

I had to get a take-out order because I couldn't bring my dog to dine in with me which I understand that. The con part of taking out was the food won't be good as you eat at the restaurant. If something wrong with the food and you don't have any access or cooking wear to fix it yourself, you will have to accept it or just throw it away. My husband and I were blessed enough to be able to bring it to our place and eat at the hotel cafe. We ordered..... - Porterhouse: looked good from outside. we told the restaurant to make it medium but the steak still more rare so the rest of rare part, we gave it to our dog, and he loved it. 7/10 - Lilly’s Beef Wellington: Prime 8oz Filet Mignon with wild mushroom in red wine glaze. I rarely see mushroom inside the wrap. Beef was good and perfectly cooked. I just didn't like the dish, so I gave it to my husband that was still hungry from giving half of his steak that wasn't cooked enough to our dog. 7/10 Overall, food was ok, I wish I could eat that the restaurant.

Try to make reservations before you go especially on the weekends as it gets very busy! We didn’t have to wait too long for a table of 2 At around 7pm and were able to have a drink at the bar. For our appetizer we had the fried Brie and the French onion soup. Both were extremely delicious! For our entree we had the filet and seafood linguini pasta. Our food was flavorful! The only downside is that they were so busy our server forgot about us. The host was super friendly though and brought our icecream on the house to celebrate my Fiancés birthday which was nice! I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!

The pork chops were incredibly juicy, cooked to perfection with a beautifully seared exterior and tender, flavorful meat inside. The portion size was more than generous, easily enough to satisfy two people. Alongside the pork chops, the mashed potatoes were smooth, creamy, and packed with just the right amount of garlicky goodness. The broccoli was perfectly cooked, maintaining a slight crunch while absorbing the rich garlic flavors. To start the meal, I enjoyed a bowl of New England clam chowder, which was thick, creamy, and bursting with fresh, tender clams and a well-balanced seasoning. For my drink, I had a refreshing sangria, which was fruity, well-balanced, and complemented the meal beautifully. Since it was a Monday, the restaurant was a bit slow, but given that most places in the area are closed that day, we were thrilled to find not only excellent food but also great music to enjoy during our meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making for an enjoyable dining experience. This marks our second year coming back, and once again, the food and ambiance did not disappoint. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

My wife and I went to Lilly's this evening for the first time, and what a find. We both ordered the filet mignon, and I can truthfully say it was the most incredible steak dinner I ever had in my life. The steak was done to absolute perfection, and it melted in the mouth like butter. Even the sides, particularly the creamed spinach, were also superb. We were still raving about how incredible dinner was long after we got home. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and Nicole, our waitress, was terrific.

Best steak (filet) I have had in a long time. Cooked to perfection. I can't believe how hard it is to find a good steak lately. 10oz. was about $52 with sides....I think that is a very reasonable price. Service was very good our waitress was great and it looked like all the servers kept an eye on you so they backed each other up. We don't get up in that area more than once or twice a year....but every time we do we WILL be going to Lilly's.

Making a reservation for a Saturday night was easy. Arrived and was warmly greeted by the staff. The atmosphere is cozy and woodsy--cabin like. Service was prompt and friendly. Steaks were done perfectly and well proportioned. Why a 4? Prices were high for an upstate NY steakhouse and they charged me for each soda and iced tea my son and I had. Really? Who does that? Still, I'd go again when I'm in the area

Had dinner at Lillys Thursday, September 14 we arrived around 7pm and were seated immediately Our friendly server instantly took our drink orders. I was also with two hungry big guys. We ordered appetizers Caprese salad, Caesar salad, warm, pretzel sticks, and then followed by 2 steaks and a burger. Call or served with potato sides baked mashed and fried yummy Everything was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back. PS shout out to Sarah who Graciously helped retrieved a lost item for me.
