This place is amazing. What a neighborhood gem. We have tried the cupcakes, cookies, strawberry shortcake and vanilla bread pudding. All fresh & incredible.

I went in for a🧁 & ☕. . . came out a full fledged fan! I ordered additional cupcakes, 2 sandwiches, ½dozen cookies, the 🌺 tea & a slice of pound cake! Can't wait to come back for one of their events! The owner Rashida is a true gem & blessing to the community. 🤩

I have been here several times for cupcakes and have never been disappointed. Most recently I came here for my wedding cake and assorted cupcakes for the reception. She didn't upcharge and accommodated my dietary needs. We only had a few cupcakes left at the end of the night.

We booked Lily of the Valley for our wedding and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone was raving, so much better than a traditional wedding cake and we got enough for people to take home. Texts came in mass asking where we got our cupcakes from and we proudly told them it was our favorite cupcake shop, which happens to be black owned. The owner opened the shop early to ensure we could get the cupcakes on the day of they were so sweet, just like their cakes. For sure the best cupcakes in the city!

So happy to have this small business in the neighborhood. It's a hidden gem and cake snobs will approve. Quality ingredients, good texture, and not aggressively sugary. I love their blueberry crumble cupcakes.

Heard about this new cupcake to place that opened on the lower end of Chelten Avenue and wanted to check it out. The place is very open and inviting. The decor is cheery and comfortable. The two young ladies who waited on me were very sweet and capable. I decided to try two- the lemon curd (which I haven’t eaten yet) and the sweet potato cupcakes. The sweet potato was great! Nice flavor, moist with chunks of fruit. And most importantly not overly sweet. I had mine with an oj but would be good with a hot beverage as well.

Lily of the Valley Cupcakery is our go to spot for the best cupcakes in the world. From special family holidays to a Dine En Blanc fundraiser to making the kids happy during quarantine to teacher appreciation week for 100 staff members, R and T always deliver the most beautiful, delicious treats made with love. They take care of their family and our community and I’m so lucky to know them.

I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my birthday and everyone loved them- including me! The flavors I got were: red velvet, strawberry cheesecake, butterscotch krimpet and birthday cake. Every single one was fluffy & most and the icing was delicious! The process of placing my order was super easy and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back :)

I believe Rihanna said something to the extent of, "Where have you been all my life..." After visiting Lily of the Valley, I asked myself this same question. Where has this place been since I have been living in Philadelphia? When you walk in, there's an older gentleman who has his wet and dry ingredients in bowls and ready to be mixed and concocted for whatever is on the menu that day. Now how often do you enter a bakery and see all of the ingredients on the table and made right in front of you? I went to the back where all of the precious desserts were being shelved and stored and my eyes grew large. I had asked the young lady if their chocolate cookies were soft and she told me they were pretty popular. Needless to say, I bought a dozen alongside the three cupcakes at the bottom. There was even a woman who entered and said she had just bought some of their oatmeal raisin cookies and had to come back and get more. Those cookies were hands down the best I've had and they trump 4th street cookies by a few miles. Soft, buttery, and full of fresh ingredients I couldn't help but to eat a few on the way home. I'm just a bit sad... how did I miss this place since I've been in Philly? Well, good thing I know now.

As I tribute to Philly musical legend Jeff Bradshaw's 20 year anniversary I purchased 6 loaves of bread pudding. They were absolutely delicious!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I ordered these cupcakes for my Birthday and they were AMAZING! Everyone loved them - they were soft not too sweet and just the right amount of icing. I would encourage you if your having a brunch to try the Turkey bacon cupcake it's soooooooo good!

Woah so good. Loved the one cupcake I tried: key lime. Icing was definitely the highlight but the whole thing was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try some more and bring some to my friends as well!! Only downside is that they are only open select days and times

While popping into the area for a surprise birthday party, we're glad we found Lily's en route to the Manayunk suburbs. As a self-professed peanut butter lover, their peanut butter cupcake was rich yet light, and still packed a punch of peanut-buttery goodness.

I decided to try just by reading the other reviews about this place and that I wanted to use because it was black owned because we were having a Juneteenth family celebration and we wanted to buy from black establishments. I bought a dozen assorted flavor cupcakes. Everyone who had one said they were delicious! If you love icing you will love these! All I could do was hum as I ate mine it was so good! Lol Definitely will buy again and hope to buy other things to taste.

While in Germantown today I parked in front of this bake shop. The chalkboard menu staring at me enticing my curiosity. I indulged and enjoyed a fresh baked Chocolate Salted Caramel Cupcake and a fresh to go cup of whole milk. The cupcake was dense and rich, delicious dark chocolate with a delightful fluffy buttercream icing, caramel drizzle, and mini salted pretzel. The shop has various baked goods, convenient parking and is located next to the SEPTA Chelten train station. The shop is following all covid19 safety measures and the young lady that served me was friendly and helpful. This was a very pleasant pick me up for the afternoon. Did I mention i was on my way to the gym? ‍

This was our first time ordering from this bakery and I'm so glad we did. The cupcakes are hefty and generously iced. We ordered six party cake and six toffee banana rum for a small, joint birthday celebration. Both were excellent. Ordering online was easy. I called ahead on the afternoon of pickup and was able to get them a couple hours earlier than scheduled. Happy to support this small (I think family run?) business.

Never had a cup cake from here that I didn't like. The flavors are amazing and well balanced. It has replaced my favorite bakery (which shall remain unarmed). I wish I had known about this place pre-Covid but I am glad I came across it nonetheless. My only hope is that one day they will open on Mondays because if there was any day that I need one of their cupcakes, it's a Monday.

I'm actually slightly heartbroken I'm not the first person to review Lily of The Valley, because I've become a regular costumer here. This is a family, black-owned business located in East Falls (where the old Rose Petals use to be). My first time here was about a month ago, a few days after they opened and I've been coming back ever since. Costumer-service is great, they take pride in getting to know their clients. I've tried almost everything. Their lemon pound cake is my favorite, pairs well with the La Colombe coffee they offer. The strawberry shortcake cupcake is another fav (usually in the back, so if you don't see it-- just request!) They also offer fried cupcakes with a scoop of ice cream... I never had this until I visited Lily's and OMG!! It is sooooooo good. Definitely for a special occasion. I love their cafe area, WiFi is available --- nice dessert shop to stop by and get work done!

My brother and sister-in-law told me any my husband about this bakery. First, I love that it is a black owned bakery. Second inside is so cute with the decor and seating. It sucks that we can't eat inside. Third, the cupcakes are amazing. They have flavors that I would never think of doing myself and flavors you see on those tv baking shows. The first time I went I tried the double chocolate cupcake and I was in chocolate heaven. We went this past Saturday to grab some for my early birthday and I ordered 2 red velvets, very coconut, sweet potato pie, turkey maple bacon and double chocolate. Girl let me tell you....the red velvet was dense and moist at the same time but yet light. How does she do it? I don't know. The frosting isn't too sweet. It's the perfect balance. No the turkey maple bacon crunch cupcake please try it! The bacon added a nice saltiness to sweet with the cupcake and I'm mad I only bought one. The frosting doesn't have that greasy sugary taste. It just so good. I drove over an hour just to get some cupcakes and I would do it again.

The cupcake I had was pretty good. I felt like the chocolate flavor could've had more depth, but the presentation was very nice. The croissant wasn't so great. It was dense and not flaky. I was also kinda disappointed that there weren't more enticing baked goods on display.They only had the cupcakes and the croissant. The La Colombe coffee is brewed properly at this cafe. Most places I've tried ruin it. I love the spare elegance of the space. They offer free WiFi and it's not overcrowded. I will definitely be back to try the strawberry shortcake. It looked delicious.

I absolutely love Lily of the Valley. The owners and staff are friendly, and the cupcakes are amazing! The strawberry shortcake cupcake is a family favorite. The vanilla buttercream is perfection. The cakes and donuts are delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about the banana pudding! Definitely worth a visit.

DAAAAAAMNIT!!!! I felt like I was actually starting to lose weight based on the fact that there's not a lot of good food close to my house in Germantown. But recently, I keep hearing everybody raving about and taking pictures of this damn cupcake place with their beautiful treats...and I finally tried it. The cake is FRESH, the icing is sweet but not overly so, the decoration toppings on each cupcake are clever and delicious, and the people working are NICE. They made a fresh pot of coffee for me which I continued to then overfill with cream and spill on the counter. The young man behind the counter was kind and patient and helped me fix my giant mess. I'm so super excited about this place!!!

Ordered and assortment of cupcakes for a bday party...all rave reviews! The Strawberry Shortcake ones most especially were phenomenal. We will be getting more.

This bake shop is a nice little nook in Glenside. The service is very friendly, and everything is neat and clean inside. Although it's a small space, it's fitting for a place like this and the interior is artsy with big glass windows and doors to let natural light shine in. It's a real nice atmosphere to stop in with someone and maybe grab a table for a few to savor delicious cupcakes. The cupcakes are very appealing to the eye because they are decorated meticulously and tastefully-- you can tell the ingredients used are of good quality because the icing looks rich and the cake looks moist. Mmmmm! I was only craving chocolate chip cookies, yet those cupcakes tempted me to indulge way more than I should. The cookies are scrumptious and is some of the best I've had. It's sweet, yet not too much; it has just enough chocolate chips; and the texture has chewy spots with crispy edges. I'm a cookie lover so I know a good one when I taste it. They are mouthwatering and I will have repeat visits! FYI: The cookies are $1.00 each and cupcakes are $3.25 each.

I just went here after dinner for a sweet treat. Although they just opened they had quite a few cupcakes to select from that were fresh! I got a lemon one and it was perfect. They are averaged priced, mine was 2.75. Will def be going there again and the guy who I bought it from was really nice. I was going to take a picture of it but I ate it too fast.

I couldn't stay long but for the short period that I was in there the atmosphere seemed very welcoming. Upon entering the 'cupcakery' the owner greeted us. The young man behind the counter was nice & I really wish I'd been able to stay. I am looking forward to returning so that I can get the full experience. I really like the decor and the aroma is, oh my goodness unbelievable. I can't even deny my inner foodie in this place. I had the strawberry cheesecake parfait & it was delicious. I had to force myself not to eat the whole thing at once. I really want to try the chocolate chip cookies & the Snickers cupcake & the sweet potato pie cupcake ;-)

If I could give it 6 stars I would. The most incredible sweet potato pie I have ever eaten - maybe the best dessert I ever had! Red Velvet cupcakes were divine. We came in from Boston for Thanksgiving and I researched where to get something chocolate and also a pie for our family dinner. The reviews were right on! Wish I could go there every week!

I went to their place in Keswick once. So happy they are near my home. 3 words Vanilla Bread Pudding. I am here at least 2 times per week. Lovely family

A beautiful store, friendly service, and amazing cupcakes! I'm so glad I found this place. Don't sleep on the Very Vanilla flavor, it's delicious! The Very Coconut is soooo good. Light cakes and flavorful icing. Will definitely be back to buy more flavors

Ordered a dozen cookies to bring to a dinner party and they were a smash hit! Absolutely delicious, and the person had the counter who rung up the order was very kind. Definitely a gem of a spot!

I've had enough of their cupcakes to leavE a proper review. First of all, the store front is super cute and cozy and spacious. They have different cupcakes and treats everyday so be sure to folLow their Instagram because they post the cupcakes that are on the menu for that specific day. I love their cupcakes they are so pretty and they taste good. My personal faves are the Lemon Berry, Strawberry Short Cake, and Banana rum. They are super nice as well. Love it!

Oh my gosh so delicious! It smelled so yummy when I walked in and all sorts of cupcakes and bread pudding. Cupcakes were tasty and so was the icing. I wish they had red velvet...but loved that they had lemon. Definitely will come again!!!!

My friend had told me they had recently remodeled and heard previously the cupcakes were very good. However we did not have cupcake per se, they have an option of making your cupcake a milkshake. This is absolutely delicious, I was actually not expecting it to taste as delicious as it did! The texture could use a little work, but I think that's more on the blender at use (that isn't in view behind a wall actually). I got strawberry shortcake, I highly recommend it both delicious and refreshing from the strawberries. My friend got a some sort of chocolate cupcake milkshake and that was extremely appetizing as well!

These cupcakes are incredible. Fun flavors, and everything we've had has been absolutely delicious. The store has a bit of character, and offers a nice alternative to a coffee shop if you're looking for a quiet space to read, study, or meet a friend. They offer basic coffee and hot chocolate but no special coffee drinks. We will definitely be back.

Service is excellent. Cleanliness is excellent. Cupcakes are excellent. People are excellent. The location is beautiful. This is a must. Trust me, you'll love it and return.

Picked up four different flavor cupcakes in a pinch to be shared. All four were winners! There chocolate chip cookies were warm and tasted perfect. The girl who helped me was super friendly. I'll return to try their other offerings (too many to mention). Definitely recommend!

I've lived in the area for years now and I get my nails done in Keswick as well. I've walked past this place plenty of times and I finally decided to go in and the place is lovely! Everyone is friendly and helpful and these are some of the best sweet treats I've ever tasted. I highly recommend them for any occasion!

I called this local bakery to place a special order. I gave them the information in regards to my request and they said that they would get back to me. They failed to do so. I tried to call after work and follow up on my request but they don't even have voicemail to leave a message. Why try to support a new local businesses if they're not even interested in returning phone calls. I'll just go out of my way to a reputable bakery and give them my business. Save your time and go to Chestnut Hill.

I came in late on Saturday evening and at first I wasn't impressed because they didn't have a large selection, but what they did have looked beautiful. We got 3 Strawberry shortcake cupcakes. AMAZING! This was one of the tastiest, delicious, yummy cupcakes I have ever eaten! The cake part of the cupcake was moist and had great flavor! Seriously hands down best cupcake! I will definitely come back for more! Never take this cupcake off your menu!

Absolutely amazing. The cupcakes are sooo good! I hope they're around for a long time. I bought 4 cupcakes Lemon, Chocolate cake with vanilla Icing, Vanilla Cupcake with Vanilla Icing, Chocolate cake with Chocolate icing. each was better than the last. Moist cakes with good icing. I'll be definitely be ordering more for events and family functions. The only thing I wish is that their chocolate-chocolate cupcake didn't have chocolate sprinkles on it.

I was in the mood for cupcakes and decided to look for the closest one when my fiancé and I were driving around the area. Let me just say I picked the best place! The owner of this bakery is the best! I was being very indecisive and ended up picking 3 cupcakes and then my fiancé got one but the owner gave each of us one cupcake on the house. So we ended up with 6 cupcakes total! Not only is the owner awesome, the cupcakes were sooo good (at least the ones we have tried so far) . This is my new favorite cupcake shop!

Great cupcakes and warm, friendly service. My family lives in Glenside and we could happily eat their cupcakes every day of the week. The strawberry shortcake and coconut are among our favorites. A treats as good as any I have ever had and a terrific family!

The friend cupcakes is a must try! You'll never want another regular cupcake again! I love the butter toffee fried cupcake and also the salted caramel! The ice cream is delicious as well!

I went on a Thursday, midday. The store is cute and though the case is small, it was fairly well stocked with about ten flavors, including peaches and cream and a stacked strawberry shortcake. I chose a double chocolate and a birthday cake cupcake. The chocolate one had a very dark cake and an even darker frosting. The cake itself was perfect, light and airy with the right amount of chocolate. The frosting, however, was grainy and had a very off-taste. I thought it was fairly inedible and had been expecting much better for a place that only makes cupcakes. The birthday cake one had a vanilla frosting topped with sprinkles and a vanilla cake studded with sprinkles throughout the batter. Again, the cake itself was fairly good. But the frosting was grainy and left a strong, unpleasant aftertaste. Since both cupcakes possessed the same grainy texture and the taste was anything but tasty, I suspect that none of the cupcakes have decent frosting. If they completely changed their frosting recipes, I might consider returning. Otherwise, it's simply not worth the trip since they make nothing but cupcakes and those are mediocre at best.

This place is a delight every time I waltz in! They consistently are pleasant to speak with and the cupcakes are perfect. I stopped in for my husband's birthday for a cupcake milkshake- woah. They make any of their cupcakes into milkshakes! If you have any reservations on this, don't. The milkshakes are not chunky and just a smooth taste of heaven. Get one. You will be back for more, I am. Also, I generally have high expectations for whatever my request may be. When I called them requesting about their space, they were very helpful. The cupcakery hosted a co-worker's bridal shower for us! And they were amazing!! We selected a flavor to serve our little group and they were more than happy to have us!! They had music playing for our group, a classy set up, and treated us like we were their family! More than the taste of the cupcakes and friendly staff, the owners of this establishment are down to earth people. Not only will I return on a regular basis, I encourage you to try them out as well. Very clean establishment, welcoming people, tantalizing flavors, and always a reason to come back. So happy they're in our neighborhood!

The cupcakes here are amazing! The red velvet was the best red velvet cake I've ever had. They have a lot of enticing and unique flavors to offer. Great little spot for a treat!

I had the strawberry shortcake cupcake. It was excellent. The customer service was excellent also. This place is very welcoming. Next time I am in town I will visit again.

This place is super cute and I love to support local businesses in Glenside. I was in the area and decided to stop by and check out Lily of the Valley Cupcakery. There was only 5-6 varieties out and it looked like they were still stocking the shelves. The staff was very friendly and I ordered a few cupcakes to go. I tried the Coconut, Caramel Apple & Cinnamon Role cupcake. I am sad to report that all three cupcakes were dry. They all had a nice flavor, but they were not close to being moist and this really impacted the experience of the cupcakes. We had them later in the evening for dessert and kept them in the plastic containers on the kitchen counter (no refrigeration on my part). So, I have to believe that the batches were left in the oven way to long. I understand that baking can vary and maybe this was just a bad baking day, but I would implore the owners to tighten up their cooking times. I may repeat in the future, but I do not feel very motivated to do so in the short term.

On Tuesday, 8/8/2017, I had visited Lily of the Valley Cupcakery and I really enjoyed the cupcakes I ate which were the fresh Strawberry Shortcake cupcake which was a vanilla cupcake with fresh strawberry slices and freshly made whipped cream and, a Vanilla Chocolate cupcake which was a chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream icing, both cupcakes tasted GREAT and were very, very MOIST. I also met the owner, Terry, who was very nice and friendly. He had informed me that on EVERY TUESDAY between 4pm-6pm is their Happy Hour and when you buy 2 cupcakes, you get a 3rd cupcake FREE!!! So after eating my first two cupcakes ( I was very full and satisfied), I was able to take a 3rd cupcake home which was a Vanilla Cupcake with vanilla buttercream icing which was very delicious as well. This was my first visit to this Lily of the Valley Cupcakery and it was well worth the 45 minutes in traffic drive to get there. I just wish I was able to have tasted their Ultimate Chocolate Chip cookies but by the time I got there, they were already all SOLD OUT!!! But that's OK because I am going back AGAIN TODAY (8/10/2017)!!!! So I hope and pray that I will be able to get a cookie today and try some of their other flavored cupcakes like their Birthday Cupcake and Apple Pie Cupcake. They have a long list of different flavored cupcakes so every day is different from the next. I can't wait to get there again. I totally recommend that you make the trip to this cupcake shop one day soon so you can enjoy their extremely delicious, moist cupcakes and cookies.
