Where the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Have Dined So Far This Season | Eater DC

"At the end of episode 10, Candiace and Robyn Dixon got together at the pink Old Town cafe to try and squash beef over hot tea with honey and a smoked salmon sandwich. The Vienna, Virginia-born dessert shop founded by Iraqi immigrants is best known for its lokma (deep fried dough balls)." - Vinciane Ngomsi

This place was amazing we drove 2 hours to experience this place and it was absolutely amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A+ Experience! Lilly Chocolate and Coffee Shop is an absolute gem! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee and handcrafted chocolates. Their drinks are perfectly balanced — smooth, flavorful, and made with care. The chocolates are divine — rich, creamy, and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re stopping by for a morning pick-me-up or a sweet afternoon treat, Lilly’s is the perfect spot. Highly recommend to all coffee and chocolate lovers! ☕🍫💫

Lily’s Chocolate Cafe is a dreamy little escape where everything feels thoughtfully curated from the floral walls to the delicate china and the carefully crafted menu. Their coffee is truly something special, ground in-house and brewed to perfection. I especially loved the latte smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced. The salmon croissant is to die for — buttery, flaky, and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. And don’t even get me started on the chocolate-covered strawberries… decadent, indulgent, and drizzled to perfection. There’s a real taste and elegance to everything here . You can tell the menu has been carefully selected with love and intention. Whether you’re coming for a girls’ tea date or just need a sweet moment to yourself, Lily’s is a gem worth savoring.

We had a wonderful time at Lily Chocolate and Coffee. The café is cozy and beautifully decorated — a great place to relax and enjoy something special. We had tea for three - there was excellent, and great selections of delicious sandwiches, scones and deserts including the chocolate lokma. Everything was flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions and making the experience even better !

Google
Perfect ambience if you’re wanting to taste the best honey lavender latte! Love the selection and variety here. The lady was really nice. It’s definitely a gem not many frequent but it’s my go to. 😊Located in Old Town Alexandria across from LULuemon.

Google
I’ve been here a few times, but I love coming back. I got the Pistachio Lockma and Iced Hibiscus Tea and my stomach was so happy. The employees, one of whom I met, Hawal, are welcoming, helpful, and extremely kind. Lovely energy.

Google
I loved the décor, it’s gorgeous and pink. I grabbed a classic bar to eat and the flavor was on point. However, if you plan to eat it inside you will have to wait a few minutes for it to thaw as it’s served almost frozen. The chocolate shell was a little thick for me personally. Only downside was the coffee. I ordered a flavored latte expecting something smooth and a little sweet, but it came out super bitter almost tasted more like a straight black coffee. Would’ve loved a bit more sweetness or balance.

Marie

Google
Lilys has the best chocolate covered strawberries and crepes! Thanks to Hawal for making our visit good! The place is very aesthetic, MashAllah, I have returned many times. I wish they expanded the store!

Yelp
This is the cutest coffee shop in Vienna. Definitely instagram photo worthy! I come here to get an iced coffee and the Dubai chocolate strawberries! The coffee is pretty good but let's be real, the strawberries are the main attraction! The $20 they cost is well worth it! I can't ever have it enough
google avatar

Yelp
I walked into Lily's skeptical, but left impressed. It's a small cafe that looks built for Instagram. There are little sayings on the walls and lots of over-the-top decoration for that Instagrammable moment. None of that is for me, BUT their menu is strong. Being a chocolate fan, I ordered their Belgian hot chocolate and wow! It comes with melted chocolate on the sides. It's delicious! It's not watered down or weak- among the best I've had in the D.C. area. Staff are friendly and quick.

Yelp
Sweets treats worth trying. My friend and I love the chocolate covered strawberries they're a good balance of sweet and refreshing. The pistachio latte is hands down better the one from Shotted people will say otherwise but I find that the pistachio cream from Lily's balances the dark taste of the espresso shots better. Overall, it's a cute aesthetically pleasing cafe with music and a welcoming environment.

Yelp
Came for one thing only ! The Dubai strawberry chocolates! Busy on a Sunday , But since going viral I knew what I was getting into , parking isn't the greatest but can park across the street and walk over , I think I paid around closer to 17 bucks for it , the wait took a while , not enough space to move around but overall the vibe of the place was cool. Service was attentive .

Yelp
Cute little shop with yummy pastries and treats. We came for the afternoon tea and it was delicious. Plenty of food, the pink tea was a special extra bonus for my pink loving daughter, & Pride very reasonable. We will def be back again!
google avatar

Jonathan X.

Yelp
It's ok. Mostly drinks, limited sweets. I stopped in for a cup of hot chocolate. Disappointed. Too much milk, overly whipped, and not enough chocolate. There is no "no tip" option you have to press skip. It's walkup so the tip is wholly unnecessary. It's a modest space with nice tables and chairs if you want a coffee spot. Cocoa leaves much to be desired but otherwise a nice little cafe.

Yelp
Stopped in for dessert on a Saturday evening. The service was quick though it was a bit disorganized on who was in a line vs who was waiting for their number to be called out. We split the Dubai chocolate covered strawberries and got white chocolate lockma for later. The Dubai chocolate covered strawberries were delicious! We opted for the dark chocolate instead of milk, and I only wish it had more pistachio cream. Given the $20 price tag I wouldn't get it again. The lockma was very rich and delicious, though I didn't realize it came with Oreos until we were already home (thought it was just white chocolate!). We found free street parking a block away, not as bad as expected on a beautiful Saturday evening. The location is great, in Old Town Alexandria. Very cute interior.
google avatar

Yelp
Deffinitely an instagrammable place for influencers or just to have girls date! Place is themed with pink and cute wall quotes and decorations. We decided to stop by and visit here because of the lokma, I wanted to try and see what it is. To me, it's like fried dough with sauce on top and you can choose your sauce flavor.Got 4 different flavors to try and my favorite is the one with strawberries because I think it mellow out the sweetness. In my opinion, it is a nice little sweet treat. It can be messy when eating though! Presentation are pretty, size are perfect for 1 or 2 people to share. Will be coming back here for photos soon!

Makenna M.

Yelp
The pistachio latte was really really good and it was super cute inside. Wanted to try the dubai chocolate strawberries but 20$ was a little much. Love the decor and the free wifi was nice
google avatar

Shayla M.

Yelp
I stopped into Lily's chocolate to try the viral chocolate covered strawberries. I also got an order of the lockma. I have to say that I enjoyed the lockma more than the strawberries. You can choose what kind of chocolate to get for the strawberries. I went with the milk chocolate. I was expecting the chocolate to be more of a liquid consistency but the chocolate was more hardened than I expected. The consistency just made it a little harder to eat. The lockma was delicious. Think of a fried dough with a chocolate drizzle of your choice. I went with the biscoff drizzle and it was so delicious. I like how you can also customize your order of lockmas depending on how many you buy. I have not tried their drinks out but I would imagine that they are delicious as well.

Yelp
Despite the line on a Saturday, we were able to order quickly & only waited 5 minutes for our one order. Most of the tables were full, but the table we were able to get wasn't cleaned off, so we had to ask for paper towels & clean it ourselves. We only ordered the Dubai Chocolate-Covered Strawberries. It was really delicious! The chocolate was rich, the strawberries were sweet & the pistachios gave it the crunchy texture it needed! We'll be back to try other special items!

Yelp
Lily's Chocolate is a charming spot for a date or a place to enjoy desserts with friends. The decor is beautiful, and the lighting is perfect for taking pictures. The shop is right off the highway, so parking can be challenging, and seating may be limited, depending on the time of day. The service is standard, but the staff is efficient at getting orders out quickly. During this visit, we ordered the chocolate-covered strawberries, Bischoff Lakma (6 pieces), and Fruit Lakma (6 pieces, with a substitution of strawberry white chocolate instead of the milk chocolate). I only tried the lakma, but my friends really enjoyed the chocolate-covered strawberries. The lakma was pretty good (it's like donut balls) --it's not overly sweet, making it a nice treat after a hearty meal. In my opinion, Lily's chocolates are on the pricier side. A small order of lakma (6 pieces) came to around $18 after tax and tip. However, for a special occasion, it could be worth the price.

Yelp
I wanted to try this place for so long and finally had the opportunity to come by. Right off the bat, there was already an issue with parking. There was only a few spots that is right in front of the building. I am not sure if there are any in the back because i was able to park in the front. The parking is right off a main road so it is quite precarious to pull in and out of parking. Walking to the entrance; I was taken back by the fake grass that was put down by the front and patio area. I can imagine where they were going for but it cheapens the look in my opinion. Walking in; I was not greeted nor recommended on what to order. I felt rushed to order something as there was a growing line behind me. I settled for the strawberries covered milk chocolate. It was $11.95 for a relatively small cup with about 6 or 7 strawberries but a generous amount of chocolate. The strawberries were not the freshest as the texture was soft and some spots were mushy. I don't think it was worth the price at all. The positive for me were the cute decorations and vibes here. It has cute pink furniture with a flower wall that makes it a Instagrammable spot. But other than that; the lack of service, mediocre dessert, and difficult parking makes this spot a one time visit for me.

Yelp
Lily's Chocolate & Coffee is a great place to visit if you're looking for a sweet treat or just a brief caffeine break. Parking is limited unless you park at another spot, it's kind of small but there's a lot of character to this place. Walking in everything is decorated all in pink. It's cute, pretty, and also very instagrammable. People know that this place is viral for these reasons but is it worth the visit? Absolutely! The store has a lot of options for drinks but they also specialize in lockmas and other interesting things like high/afternoon tea! You'd need to reserve them in advance for special occasions for tea however. I got the vanilla latte and biscoff lockma (5 pieces). The vanilla latte was just right with the amount of vanilla and coffee to drink. I am also pleased that there's also latte art too! The Biscoff Lockma is the star of the show here; I have never tried it until now and it convinced me that I need to buy more for my next visit. Lockma is a fried donut with toppings depending on what you get. It's honestly something I will eat even if it's not diet friendly. I love it! It can be busy if you go at later hours, but this is a place worth checking out!

Yelp
Cute, pink interior with plenty of seating. Tried the Dubai pistachio strawberries ($20) and got the small Dubai chocolate bar to-go. While very expensive, the quality of chocolate was fantastic. The strawberries were 5 large ones doused in chocolate sauce, pistachio sauce, chopped pistachios, and knafe. It was very delicious and filling. Would return if I was craving chocolate desserts!
google avatar

Kay P.

Yelp
Such an adorable dessert shop! Definitely worth a shot to try out some of their items! Interior is bubbling in pink and has such cute sofa-chairs! Service was quick and kind! Afternoon tea set - must have a reservation! I got to try their Afternoon Tea Set - it's pretty aesthetic! However, would not recommend if you're in it for the food LOL My friend and I only got it for the gram. The tea was bland / bitter and the pastries were dry and mediocre. The Tuna sandwich was the only item I liked out of it~ Their DUBAI CHOCOLATE however, is DELICIOUS. They have the medium size - which has the perfect mixture and the large - but i think the large has too much chocolate as i like the filling and crunch more! Best tasting when it is refrigerated / cold! Overall 7/10 would come back for the chocolate!
google avatar

LeAnn F.

Yelp
If I could, I would give them 3.8. They were super nice and sweet. Friendly. It's great way for friends, girls, dates, and Arabic community to come together. I love how the theme is all pink and how much work they put in to the store. They specialize in this Iraqi dessert called Lokma, which is covered with Belgium chocolate. They also do afternoon tea. I have tried neither but I can only speak to their coffee. I got the honey lavender latte is why I'm giving them 3 stars. It would have been 2 because it was watered down and I couldn't taste the lavender syrup. It needs to be more sweet. But give them still a try for their food.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Lily's Chocolate, and I highly recommend the Dubai Chocolate Bar, but not the Strawberry Chocolate Cup. The large Dubai Chocolate Bar, priced at $20, is worth every penny. I bought one a week ago and I'm eating at it day by day; keeping it in the fridge has kept it fresh and delicious still. My only complaint is that the kataifi pastry is a bit over-toasted and tough. Still, I would definitely purchase it again. On the other hand, I found the chocolate strawberry cup quite disappointing. The place was cold, and by the time we sat down, the chocolate had already hardened, it wasnt worth $10.

Tiffany G.

Yelp
I had the lokma which is something I've never had being that I'm from Virginia so I tried it for the 1st time and hands down best pastry/ sweets I've ever had ... definitely recommend,!!!!

Yelp
This was spot #3.5 of 4...another slight detour from the coffee marathon for me & fellow Yelper, HeideAnn. This little chocolate and coffee shop is an Instagramer's (or any social media user's) dream! The entire place is just covered in pink with splashes of gold. Almost every side/angle of this place is perfect for photo ops. While I was there, I remembered that my friend and I were bookmarking this place for our next afternoon tea a couple years ago. I dunno how, but I forgot that I wanted to try the lockmas :( The afternoon tea is priced at $48...might be a little to pricey for us. I didn't inquire what it includes, but looks like the basics: tea kettle, finger sandwiches, pastries, etc. They sell the infamous Dubai chocolate in case anyone wants to try it! There is very limited parking directly in front of the building, shared by other businesses. There may be more parking available behind the building, but we didn't check. Would I return? originally I thought I wouldn't, but after I remembered the lockmas......I need to come back to try them.
google avatar

Alea V.

Yelp
Got a pistachio latte and it was delicious as usual. The parking is challenging, but worth it if you can find a spot. I noticed I had missed there is a ramp to get in as well as stairs so wanted to point that out!
google avatar

Jamie J.

Yelp
Sooooo good! My husband is a big fan of pistachio and chocolate so we decided to go try this place. The hardest part is making a decision on what to order. We went with the special Dubai chocolate bar and it did not disappoint. They ran out of small boxes so we had to get a large which honestly was not an issue for us but it is very large and decadent so make sure you come with an appetite. The ingredients are so good and it was insanely delicious. The café is small so you may have to wait on seating but they do have a few tables in front (outside) which make it easier.
google avatar

Preeti S.

Yelp
Finally was able to get my hands on the viral Dubai chocolate bar which is filled with Pistachio cream Kunafe. It did not disappoint. Totally see the hype. I got the large size and I would highly recommend it. The bar itself is huggggge and the filling is abundant. The lady behind the counter was super sweet. She recommended the 'dark chocolate' option instead of milk chocolate. I am glad I went with it. So if you are interested... get the large size with dark chocolate. You won't regret it :) There is no preorder needed. I just called to check if it was available to pick up and i showed up 20 mins later on a Saturday evening. And ofcourse this place is super cute. I will be sure to go back when I am in the area. Would love to try the strawberries, afternoon tea and other options as well.
google avatar

Joshua H.

Yelp
Came for the dubai chocolate bar, stayed for the lokma. The dubai chocolate bar was a little disappointing. It's an excellent marketing tool but thinner than I was expecting. The lokma was amazing however totally unique and very delicious.
google avatar

Yulee K.

Yelp
The interior is so cute and great for tea parties. But I will say I was disappointed with the coffee. It was super watered down and way too sweet for a latte. We came here mostly to try the chocolate covered strawberries which were delicious! The strawberries were super fresh and the chocolate was rich and decadent. But I wouldn't come back since the coffee was not good at all and slightly overpriced.
google avatar

Aarti B.

Yelp
Cute tea/coffee and pastry shop, perfect for a group of girlfriends! It's pretty cozy inside and can get pretty crowded especially when there are large parties for baby showers. My girlfriends and I sat in a tiny corner until the party cleared out an hour later. If you have a large party, definitely make a reservation if you can or be prepared to wait! I LOVE the cute and scrumptious lockma donuts. They are like premium, adorably decorated munchkins. The Pistachio filled with chocolate with my favorite, closely followed by the Date with sesame seeds and then the Biscoff cinnamon lockma donuts. I really appreciate how you can mix and match different flavors. Will have to try the Nutella - next time! Get the frozen hot chocolate if you're looking for something sweet! I wasn't a fan of the Cafe Mocha Latte, it was super bitter as the chocolate was drizzled on the side of the cup and not blended in the coffee. The staff patiently and mildly begrudgingly let me swap it out with the frozen hot chocolate, which was the superior choice! I might come back and take my daughter to munch on some scrumptious lockma donuts!
google avatar

Tanny D.

Yelp
Lily's is a great late night dessert spot! I love their strawberries and chocolate cup, and their dubai chocolate bar is my absolute favorite out of all the ones I have ever tried. The lokma can be a hit of a miss. The first time i tried it, it unfortunately had an oily smell to it and was hard to finish. The second time it was pretty good, so it really depends.
google avatar

Abby A.

Yelp
My friend and I go to meeting later on Thursday evenings. TWICE now, racing to Lily's barely in the knick of closing time, the owner has GRACIOUSLY kept the restaurant open, and has happily served us. He even gave us a free gelato for my birthday, despite arriving at 10:03PM on Thursday (we thought it closed at 11PM since it does on some days), and the taste, texture, and care put into it was truly top-tier On top the excellent, extremely kind service, the food is absolutely DELICIOUS. These are hands down thee absolute best chocolate strawberries I have had in the DMV area. Rave reviews from me; all of the employees there are so kind and sweet
google avatar

Tommy Y.

Yelp
Super cute coffee shop that was making some buzz on Instagram! Decided to check it out on a Saturday morning with some friends. I got the Vanilla Iced Latte and a Red Velvet Cake Slice! I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I enjoyed the latte, not too sweet with a nice vanilla flavor to it. The Red Velvet Cake was tasty, the frosting was creamy, sweet and delicious! The cake part itself however was a bit on the dry side, as this slice may have been sitting out for a while, I'd definitely love to try a fresher slice that had just been baked that morning. The service was also very friendly and hospitable. The host kept in communication with us the whole time while our food and drinks were being prepared, and she had no issues with me filming in the restaurant!
google avatar

Mackenzie C.

Yelp
Lilys chocolate and coffee is a cozy store with pink everywhere! Love the ambiance and the staff was friendly and quick to get our order. I tried an iced coffee and it was really good! Not overly sweet like some of the other things you can order here! I also ordered white chocolate covered strawberries and they were delicious. The strawberries were perfectly ripe and the chocolate was rich. The only two downsides are that parking is a little difficult and the prices are pretty expensive. I spent $20 for a cup of strawberries and a small coffee.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Strawberries and milk chocolate was delicious. I do wish the ratio of chocolate to pistachio filling was a bit better for the Dubai chocolate- a thicker chocolate coating as others had said would be better. The white chocolate, Biscoff, and pistachio flavors of Lokma were delicious. I did not think I would like the pistachio flavor, but I got it due to others recommendations and I liked it! They seemed cold on the phone, but upon arrival they were very warm. Inside is very pink and floral. Food came out somewhat quickly, i will say the chocolate bar came out slightly cold like it was being stored in a refrigerator. After bringing the leftovers of the bar home and consuming it that night it was much softer and tasted much better as the texture has improved. Hot chocolate was nasty. I would definitely come again!

Yelp
This is the second day in a row I've been to Lily's Chocolate and Coffee in Vienna, and I'm obsessed with their Dubai Chocolate desserts. Yesterday, I got their Dubai Chocolate Lockmas which were perfection. Today, I got their Dubai Chocolate Strawberries, and they were so fresh and delicious. The shop is nicely decorated, and the service is friendly and quick. I can't wait to try their coffee and more lockma flavors. Highly recommend!

Tamara K.

Yelp
What a stunningly beautiful cafe! This was our first time here, the service was wonderful, and they have many delicious looking options for an afternoon of sweets! My husband and I each got gelato, he had the vanilla with no toppings (he eats everything that plain), and I had the chocolate gelato with Nutella drizzle, mini m&ms, and white chocolate pearls. Both gelatos were delicious, creamy and sweet! My toppings were also great!
google avatar

Wendy V.

Yelp
This may not be my favorite coffee but their hospitality 10/10 Stopped by while i was waiting for my eyebrow appointment, wanted to try as it has been viral on social media. I got the Pistachio Latte-- it did not have any coffee flavor mostly tasted like milk even after i tried mixing it. Im not one to complain I usually just take the L but I went back in to ask about my coffee to see if this was how it was supposed to be. Some places have different coffee styles. No questions asked they refunded me and remade my coffee. I really appreciated as it's awkward for me to ask about it in the first place. I watched as they spent there time on my 2nd latte and it was quite delicious. It was very busy when I went in as well but overall cute vibe nice workers

Yelp
All I need to say is Dubai chocolate!! Amazing. Go get you one. Everything is delicious and the staff is courteous.

Yelp
Lily's Chocolate & Coffee is a charming coffee shop that combines the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee with the irresistible smell of homemade chocolates. Located in a friendly neighborhood, it has quickly become a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike who are looking for a cozy place to relax, enjoy good food, and unwind. First Impressions When you walk into Lily's Chocolate & Coffee, the first thing you notice is the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is simple but charming, with comfortable seating options including small tables for solo visits or groups, and cozy booths for more intimate conversations. The lighting is soft and warm, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to sit down and stay a while. The staff greets you with friendly smiles and genuine warmth, which immediately makes you feel at home. They are knowledgeable about their menu and happy to recommend drinks or chocolates if you're unsure what to order. The cleanliness of the place is also noticeable, and the ambiance is quiet enough that you can enjoy your time without loud noise or chaos. The Coffee Lily's Coffee menu is quite extensive, offering a variety of options from classic drip coffee to specialty drinks. Whether you prefer a simple black coffee, a creamy latte, or something more adventurous like a caramel mocha or a vanilla bean cappuccino, Lily's has you covered. The baristas clearly take pride in their craft, as the coffee is consistently well-made, with rich flavor and perfect temperature. One thing I really appreciated was their attention to detail. They use quality beans, and you can tell the difference. The coffee is smooth, not bitter, and has a balanced taste that is both satisfying and energizing. The menu also includes decaffeinated options and various milk choices, making it accessible for everyone. The Chocolates What really sets Lily's apart is their homemade chocolates. They have a wide selection of chocolates, from truffles and bars to specialty confections. Each piece is beautifully crafted, and the flavors range from classic milk and dark chocolates to more unique options like salted caramel, raspberry, and mint. The chocolates are rich and smooth, melting in your mouth with just the right sweetness. They are made with high-quality ingredients, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into each piece. Whether you're a chocolate lover or just looking for a sweet treat, you'll find something that hits the spot here. Food and Snacks In addition to drinks and chocolates, Lily's offers a small menu of baked goods and snacks. They have freshly baked muffins, cookies, and croissants that pair perfectly with your coffee. The baked goods are fresh, soft, and flavorful, adding to the overall cozy experience. Sometimes they also feature seasonal treats or special desserts, which are always worth trying. The Experience Visiting Lily's Chocolate & Coffee is more than just grabbing a drink; it's about enjoying a moment of comfort. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, making sure your order is just right. If you're looking for a quiet place to work or read, it's perfect. If you want to catch up with friends or have a small meeting, the environment is conducive to conversation. The shop also has free Wi-Fi, which is a big plus if you want to get some work done or browse online. The tables are a good size, and there are outlets available for charging devices. The overall vibe encourages relaxation and enjoyment. Value for Money Prices at Lily's are reasonable considering the high quality of the products. Specialty coffees are priced similarly to other local coffee shops, and the chocolates are fairly priced given their handmade quality. A coffee and a couple of chocolates make for a delightful treat without breaking the bank. The portions are generous, and the quality justifies the price. Customer Service Customer service at Lily's is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure you have a good experience. They take time to explain the different chocolates and can make recommendations based on your preferences. It's clear they care about their customers and want them to leave happy. Overall Lily's Chocolate & Coffee is a wonderful place for anyone who loves good coffee and high-quality chocolates. It's a small business that offers a warm and welcoming environment, great drinks, delicious treats, and friendly service. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee, a sweet snack, or a relaxing afternoon, it's a spot that will leave you feeling satisfied and eager to return. If you're in the neighborhood and looking for a cozy, dependable place to enjoy a good cup of coffee and some tasty chocolates, Lily's is definitely worth a visit. It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a place to enjoy a moment of pleasure and comfort.

I'm telling you right now! Go to get the Dubai chocolate strawberries. You won't be disappointed. They are $20. 20 American Dollars!! I know, steep. Buuuuuuuut worth it!! And I'd buy it again! I don't even like chocolate!! Service was pleasant. And the ambiance was very pink & feminine! Don't let this deter you bros!! Go and get your girl and yourself some Dubai chocolate strawberries!!

Yelp
Super cute place!!! I was trying to beat the clock for a virtual meeting on my way to the airport. Realizing I wouldn't make it there in time I needed a nice cafe and Starbucks wasn't going to hit it. It's soooo loud in Starbucks! How do people work or study in there? Anyways. Lily's was near the exit I was closest to so we hopped off. They have free wifi! The place is sooooo beautiful with plenty of Instagramable aesthetics. The decor is mauve meets pink. I had a cup of tea and some kind of donut holes with chocolate and biscoff. BABY!!!??? Delicious!! I ate all of them. I bought them thinking I would just eat two. My daughter had a hot chocolate and chocolate covered strawberries. She ate them all, huge portion of them at that! I would say pop in! Work there! Study there! It's clean, cute and the desserts were delicious. Only thing was the bathroom was out of order. And the sign on the wall. Ladies it should read: Stressed spelled backwards is Desserts! What you have on the wall is soooo not right lol! Cute but not right.

Yelp
Recently visited Lily's since I was in the area. The first time I had Lily's was 2 years ago and it was sooooo good. My recent experience was not as great and disappointment. The flavor of the lokma's tasted like they were either fried in old oil or they had been sitting there for a while and warmed back up. I did not enjoy them and for the price I paid, they were not worth it. I also picked up the viral Dubai chocolate bar while I was there. The small bar is $13! Although pricey, I did enjoy it.

Yelp
I have been going here for a couple of months now for the Dubai chocolate but as of recently both times that I've gone mind you it's not cheap. I have gotten the Dubai chocolate and it has had no pistachio in the chocolate. Barely a thin, thin layer if any. It's just buying a chocolate bar pretty much so the quality has definitely gone down And I probably won't be going back for a while unless that gets fixed. Sad.

Yelp
I visited here on a Saturday late afternoon. And they were very busy. The decor is really nice and I can see people enjoying themselves catching up having some good treats. I waited in line and when I got to the front I ordered the Lockma ( which is small fried doughnuts with your choice of toppings). I chose the chocolate lockma. They have a variety of coffees, crepes, waffles and cakes. The lockma seems to be the most popular. They also have fresh strawberries with chocolate. The reason I went here was to try the famous viral "Dubai chocolate". Unfortunately I didn't get any because they told me that they are sold out. I didn't see a sold out sign anywhere and the only sign I saw was about buying the Dubai chocolate bars. Anyway- being slightly disappointed I placed my order of lockma and a coffee and waited for them to call out my order number. After about 15 minutes wait they called my order number and I picked up the lockma. I managed to find a table by the window and proceeded to eat my lockma. It looked really pretty but unfortunately it did not taste nice at all. The doughnuts are freshly fried but sadly there was a lot of excess oil and it didn't seem to drain enough and the actual doughnut had an aftertaste of oil. The chocolate mixed with the oil was so gross I just closed it and stopped it eating. My coffee was still not ready being about 25 minute wait at this point. Eventually they called my number and well the coffee was worth the wait because it was hot and absolutely delicious. After sitting a while drinking my coffee I noticed someone walk in and ask for the Dubai chocolate. Then to my surprise the same person that told me it was sold out proceeded to hand this person the Dubai chocolate??? Now I was confused. Did he lie to me? But why? I was really shocked by this and then I felt a bit insecure sitting there thinking all sorts of thoughts about why he wouldn't sell it to me. There was a bad taste in my mouth and it was not caused by the Lockma. About 5 minutes later I saw it - the person that he gave the chocolate too was an influencer as she and her friend made a video while eating it. Ah ok I understand it now - I guess us ordinary folk just don't make the cut. While I understand it's business and viral ticktock and instagram videos drive traffic- it's just not right. What would've been better - maybe tell me they reserve a few for influencers or maybe I can pre-order and pick up - or something. I didn't leave there feeling great at all. Sadly I will not be back.

Yelp
I walked into Lily's looking for Dubai chocolate.. not sure if it's a limited time product for them but it was so good that I had to tell my coworkers about it, which they immediately went to go buy some after trying it. Although all I purchased was the chocolate, the staff was very friendly and kind.

Yelp
I believe if you haven't tried different cafes, whether they were middle eastern or not, then Lily's might be amazing to you. However, I've been to more than a few and this store, along with its sister location, are one of the most mediocre cafes I've tried in my time. I'm just going to combine both of my reviews into one. I've been to both stores, and my family and I were really disappointed overall. We ordered 3x5 sets of lokma in different drizzles, a cup of chocolate covered strawberries, and a pistachio latte. The lokma's were really good but they had an oily aftertaste, not sure if it was just the batch we got but it was fine. But upon receiving our cup of strawberries we noticed that the chocolate was nearly nonexistent so we kindly asked for a little more. Mind you, we are comparing our cup to the last 3 they made in front of us for other customers. They seemed reluctant to give more, being stingy with the second scoop again and it was embarrassing to ask a third time, so we accepted it as is. I didn't understand the hesitation, it's literally just chocolate drizzle and it's a scam to be stingy when you're paying nearly $11 for a cup of strawberries. The Vienna location was better at this (picture attached), so maybe it can be a hit or miss. With all of that said, my biggest concern was their coffee though. I can see how it can suffice if a person is not used to drinking quality coffee, but it was really disappointing. It was more like 80% milk and 20% coffee, like a drink made for a child who doesn't like the taste but still wants to be included. It also really confused me how it's being sold as a pistachio latte, but all the pistachio spread is drizzled on the side of the cup (absolutely none on the bottom) so you can't taste it. Like at all, unless you scrape it with your straw. I will say that when I requested an extra shot of espresso to correct this, they were very quick to accept it back and fix it for me. It is a very cute store with great photo opps for instagram, quiet and nice to go out with friends to, but if you care about the quality of food then I personally don't recommend. For the prices they are charging, they should be following the same standards that Shotted has. I don't think I will be coming back unfortunately.

Yelp
The place is nicely decorated, but small and packed. We arrived to barely standing room. The food is good, but expensive. Parking was unexpectedly not too tight as there are some spaces in the rear. I appreciate that they put down cardboard to help prevent slipping from the snow melt. Tip: You can get the same or better quality for lower cost at The Hanging Gardens Cafe nearby, with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your goodies. The parking is better too

Yelp
Very unassuming location and signage. I actually passed it by at first. It's a lovely little spot. Quaint and clean. Very pretty decor. Smaller inside than I thought but comfy. The attendant was very nice and helpful. The barista was friendly and made a delish cardamom pistachio latte although I thought it was too much cardamom atop it. The Viral Dubai chocolate covered strawberries presented beautifully. JI have to say, and I heard the guests at the table next to me say it's a nice idea that didn't work well. Nice for Instag. The strawberries pulled apart from the chocolate as the chocolate got hard quick. Had to use my fingers to break off chocolate chunks as the wooden tooth pick couldn't retrieve it. Just the soft wet chocolate with the kunafa and pistachios would have worked. Especially for $20.00 per cup. Presentation and taste were perfect. I'll be back to try the afternoon tea.

Yelp
I made the drive to Lilly's from Baltimore and wow was it worth it. The chocolate is amazing. I tried the Dubai chocolate bar, the Dubai strawberries, as well as the hot chocolate and the locka. Everything I had was amazing from beginning to end.

Yelp
This review is primarily for the tea, though we have had coffee from here too. The tea is okay, but it's not a traditional afternoon tea that you'd find elsewhere. If you're fine with that, then this is probably a fine option. But I think the food and tea were far too basic for how much it cost per person. For reference, other tea spots in the area have a similarly priced menu but the sandwiches and scones etc. are much higher quality, they use actual clotted cream vs. cream cheese, and you get to select which tea you want. So I'd recommend skipping this. The coffee however is pretty good and so are the lockmas. So if you're only coming for that, then this is a solid choice.

Yelp
Came for the vibes and the coffee, but found the name misleading. Several people Stopped by for chocolates and left without any. While what they serve certainly can be chocolate-y, it is more exotic and special than just chocolates as they're Iraqi lackmas. I had never tried it before and thought the fried dough dipped in Nutella tasted like a soft doughnut hole. Very yummy and I imagine most kids would like it (especially for afternoon tea). It is a tad messy, so keep that in mind. Overall a very cute pink and flower themed afternoon tea spot with instagrammable walls flower walls, fake swings hanging from the ceiling, and pretty small tables make for a perfect venue for a private party. Would return with my daughter and her little friends.
