Yelp
Really cute ice cream store next to Poppies. If you're a fan of ice cream (vs gelato or custard), check this place out. In addition to vanilla and strawberry, they have quite a few unusual flavors to scoop, plus more varieties by the pint in the case along with ice cream sandwiches and cakes. The owner, Ron, was friendly and gave us tastes of several flavors. He mentioned his daughter, Lily, is the artist who painted the signs in the store - make sure to check out the mural in the bathroom! They make all the ice cream on premises and supply many local businesses. Even though this place has been here for several years, we just learned about it while shopping at Captain Clays! We ordered the pistachio and spumoni flavors. Both were delicious. As they had so many unusual flavors, I asked Ron about my favorite flavor: black sesame. He said they only make it for a local Asian restaurant, but before I left, he gave me a sample! It was great. Re: the vanilla ice cream: while its ingredients are incredible and well sourced, it tasted more like milk to me rather than the strong vanilla flavor I was hoping for. We will be back to try their sundaes. I read they make their hot fudge and whipped cream in-house!
