Lim Lao Ngow

My noodle dish with abalone was tasty. My dessert was just so-so. The skin of the rice balls was way too thick. I'll just go for the noodles next time.

The noodles were 10/10 😘 a perfect combination of everything. The har gow tasted nice, but the wrapper was messy and the filling was too firm. The credit card payment process was terrible, and they require a minimum of 500 baht to pay by card.

First time trying this cuisine. Menu is full of fishball, wonton and different options. Order it with soup or without. I ordered without soup. I got fishballs and tofu on noodles, with the broth served on the side. Also the spicy 🔥 chili is served in a small dish. Not a flavor bomb, but a well prepared dish. Service was very good and the restaurant is nice and clean. The bouncy fish ball concept definitely lives up to its name. Made from fresh fish and no flour, they’re served with Chinese noodles and wontons, and leave a joyful aftertaste.

Somehow, noodles just taste better in Bangkok. This bowl reminded me of fishball noodles back home—except it came with way more ingredients! I asked for less noodles, and the portion turned out just right with the generous mix of toppings. It’s a tom yum-style soup, but there was only a little broth and it leaned more sour than spicy. My total for two bowls came up to ฿312. Cash only payment for ฿500 and below.

Ordered their recommended fishball noodles and a fried dumplings as side dish. I really love their noodles. It was soft, springy and the seasoning was flavoursome. Fishballs and meatballs was tasty too! The deep fried dumplings was not bad, crispy and the chilli sauce was good. Staff was friendly and attentive too. They only accept cash payment. No credit card. :(

3.5 stars. Place is bright, spacious and clean. Service is good. Both the original fishball noodles and prawn wanton soup are delicious. However, the portion is very small. The condiments helped to elevate the taste of the dishes.
