7 London Restaurants That Also Have Brilliant Bars - London - The Infatuation

"Beginning a meal with a pisco cocktail and ending a meal with a pisco cocktail just means that you’re a consistent person. At this colourful Covent Garden restaurant you can do exactly that with a pisco-infused meal of salmon ceviche, yuca fries, and roasted lamb rump before heading downstairs to a bar called—we kid you not—The Lost Alpaca. A cool and casual basement situation, the bar has a two-for-one offer on selected cocktails every Tuesday to Thursday and you can expect plenty of tequila on the menu. Look out for the Lima Live Latin music nights too." - heidi lauth beasley

The Best Outdoor Restaurants In Covent Garden - London - The Infatuation

"From the outside, this Peruvian spot looks like a quaint little restaurant. There are half a dozen or so tables outside and it’s a bit of a suntrap if you time things right. Inside is a big modern restaurant with a rustic private dining room and a bar in the basement. Whether you go for a couple of pisco cocktails and some yuca fries, or a full-blown feast of salmon ceviche, roasted lamb rump, and beef empanadas, you’re pretty much guaranteed a great time." - team infatuation

Where To Go When The Summer’s Being British - London - The Infatuation

"The weatherman did you dirty. Again. Whatever. It can be absolutely pissing it down outside, but as long as you’ve got a pisco cocktail in hand, it still feels like the hottest day of the year. That’s just how alcohol works. Lima Floral is a relaxed Peruvian restaurant in Covent Garden that has lots of pisco cocktails, big, colourful art on the walls, and dishes like salmon ceviche and beef empanadas on the menu. Plus, if witnessing that torrential downpour is ruining your mood, you can head to their laidback pisco bar down in the basement for peak rain avoidance." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

The 24 Best Restaurants In Covent Garden

"The fact that this Peruvian spot off Garrick Street looks like a quaint little restaurant from the outside is pretty deceptive. It’s actually giant, with a rustic private dining room and a bar in the basement. Whether you go for a couple of pisco cocktails and some yuca fries, or a full-blown feast of salmon ceviche, roasted lamb rump, and beef empanadas, you’re pretty much guaranteed a great time." - sinead cranna, jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager

Lima Cantina Review - Covent Garden - London - The Infatuation

"This Peruvian spot is just off of Garrick Street, and if you’re not looking for it, you might easily miss it. The fact that it looks like a quaint little restaurant from the outside is pretty deceptive. It’s actually a big modern restaurant with a rustic private dining room, and a bar in the basement. Whether you go for a couple of pisco cocktails and some yuca fries, or a full-blown feast of salmon ceviche, roasted lamb rump, and beef empanadas, you’re pretty much guaranteed a great time. Plus, if you happen to have a spare £800 lying around you can purchase one of the colourful artworks. That or, you know, invest in 133 passion-fruit panna cottas instead." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

As a Peruvian I can say the food was delicious. We got the lunch menu, we picked the classic ceviche and pollo a la brasa with side of potatoes. Taste was perfect! The ambience was great, nice latin music, and nice service. The pisco sour could improve, but I gave my comments to the barman and he was very eager to listen. I really recommend this place :)

Went here for a team dinner. We were 12 of us and were at a comfortably. The decor was nice and pretty as Christmas is almost here. The staff were sweet and generous. The food was tasty but the portion size are small mind you! As long as you are okay with that you will love the place. We shared some starters but they were small. Loved the chicken taco, guac, cassava, mushroom main course. A lovely place for a special evening I would say. Beautiful and cozy

Starters (ribs/ceviche and tacos) were top notch Chicken - breast was a bit dry, leg was good Octopus - bit overcooked, bit mushy Atmosphere is a bit mismatched. Dance music for a nice restaurant with a room of 40-50 year olds felt a bit odd. Music too loud, maybe some authentic Peruvian music and not the club remixes. Cocktails were great. Pisco old fashioned 🔥🔥

We had an absolute delightful evening. The food was fantastic and the our server Rekha was so warm welcoming , she introduced a menu to us and she even recommended few dishes .She was smiley and professional , she had a great knowledge of the food and history. My personal favourite was the Aubergine and the Octopus . The Empanadas was melting in my mouth I really enjoyed it with a seasoned mustard. Great combo ! The Pork BAO didn't reached my expectations, the meat was chewy, but I have to mentioned this as a BAO person . We had two cocktails that we enjoyed it . I had a Lychee Jasmine Pisco - it was just perfect and refreshing . The music was balanced in the background, so we can had a nice conversation. The restaurant itself is cozy , urban , and the team seemed happy and friendly. The menu is pricey for the portions but definitely worth to try it. We will visit again .

Firstly, the staff were friendly and great! The restaurant itself is pretty and in a key location. The menu I liked, but the food disappointed me. It’s overpriced and portion sizes are small. A sharing plate of tacos is £56pp, this is insane.. We ordered a whole chicken for £50 and it would have comfortably fed 2 (not 4), with half a handful of potatoes. It was very small and the taste did not blow me away. We spend £240 for 4 people and left hungry. For that reason it’s a 3* restaurant for me, sorry.

Lima Cantina is just amazing! I went last year for my birthday and had pollo a la brasa with pisco sours – everything was incredible. This year I went back and it was just as fantastic. The ceviche was super tasty, and I really recommend ordering several dishes to share because everything is so good. This time I had lomo saltado, causa de langostinos, anticuchos, and picarones. Everything was delicious, though the portions are a bit on the smaller side. We also tried the passion fruit pisco sour and wow – absolutely delicious!

Visited for lunch and amazed with how delicious and authentic the dishes were. El Ceviche and Lomo Saltado were my two favourites and highly recommend. Ralph, Ray and the entire staff were very friendly and welcoming, made the visit all the more special. 10/10 🌟
