Lima

We've made South American cuisine part of our regular repertoire lately, at least a couple times a month. Lima is a bit out of our normal area but we saw it once and read the reviews, and decided to make the trek for a birthday dinner. We're very glad we did. It is one of the better Peruvian restaurants we've been to, certainly #1 in the Bay Area. We had the empanada sampler, aguadito soup, seafood platter, poor man's steak, and a couple cocktails. Everything was a standout. Good portions and excellent flavor and presentation. I'm usually ambivalent about empanadas. Usually they are too much dry pastry dough, too little filling- even at good restaurants. But these were really good and not too doughy/dry at all. Especially the cheese and beef empanadas. They were so good that we ordered extra to take home. We also ordered another serving of the aguadito soup to take home. Our only complaint is this take home serving was about half the size of what we shared in the restaurant, so we had to have small portions to share it. But the taste was excellent last night and today. My spicy margarita was just the right levels of spicy, sweet, and tart. They gave my wife a couple shortbread cookies with what I think was dulce de leche between them for a birthday gift. That was so yummy. We found ourselves wanting to try other dishes as we saw them delivered to other tables. So even though this is a 45 minute drive for us, we are for sure coming back for more. Oh and one of the things we have learned to like with South American food is fried plantains. Some restaurants don't serve them, so we always check before going. Lima did have them- they came with the steak and it was enough to share. Highly recommended.

ed well, red onions didn't have a strong taste but they added green onion and they didn't cook it long enough or rinse them before cooking because the taste from the green onion is too strong and doesn't blend well with the rest of the dish. I recommend ordering the Lomo without the green onion. First Peruvian restaurant I've been to that there isn't any art in the wall regarding Peru. If I just walked in I wouldn't have known what kind of food they serve. There was good salsa music playing but could barely hear the music in the quiet restaurant. I've been to plenty Peruvian restaurants in the Bay Area but this may be at the bottom of my list. Would not recommend due to poor service, poor communication, food with missing ingredients or added ingredients that to not make the dish stronger. Plenty of other Peruvian restaurants in concord that take care of their customers. Save your money because in total this meal cost us $150 and I was shocked because I threw away my food once we left.

This was our second time having dinner here. I can't say more positive things about this place. I had duck confit last time. This time I had the spicy fish stew. Both were absolutely incredible. Dinner was early enough to catch the end of happy hour which sliders and booze at a discount. Overall service is great and food was excellent. Gotta try the donuts(I forgot what they were called) Can't wait to go back. Outdoor seating is great for people watching

We had a great night on our dinner date. I highly recommend this spot if you are in the mood for Peruvian food. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She brought out two samples of wine for me to try and waited until I made my decision. I appreciated this. I would recommend if it’s your first time, the Empanada Sampler of all 4. I would have naturally leaned towards the Cheese with Avocado sauce or the Vegetarian but to my surprise loved the Beef with Rocoto Aioli best. For dinner I had the Organic Quinoa Chopped Salad with chicken. It has romaine, radish, green beans, tomatoes, onions, corn, cilantro, avocado, lime vinaigrette and I loved it! I will be back just for this salad. The flavors were light and the chicken was perfect. It didn’t feel like too much which left room for dessert. My partner had the Shredded Chicken Stew, with slow cooked chicken breast simmered in a mild yellow pepper sauce, with hard boiled egg, Peruvian olive, walnuts and parmesan cheese, served with rice. He liked it and felt it was an authentic dish but would probably try something different next time. Dessert, the bread pudding was wonderful. Pineapple and coconut served with bourbon caramel sauce and whipped cream. If you enjoy these flavors I would recommend this! We will definitely be back!

We had our family gathering here for dinner and everything was delicious! From presentation to taste - quite an experience for your taste buds. Lima beats all other Peruvian restaurants in our book!

The food is fantastically filling and can make you feel like you are eating the best food the city has to offer. The only concern is the wait and how busy it can get. However, it's a great place to eat at with your friends and family.

This place is amazing! Every thing we had was so delicious. Beef tenderloin, empanadas, pork adobo, and a redeye with pesto basil pasta. The service was absolutely top notch!

The Ceviche had a very good blend of flavors a day was very delicious. The chicken empanadas weren't that great. The outer breading was nice and flaky but the chicken tasted like boiled chicken that was shreaded then stuffed into the breading. It really didn't have any spice or other flavor that stood out. Unfortunately that wasn't that good at all.

Lima has been such a place of comfort for me and my family! I love Peruvian Food! Every one of my family members have celebrated a birthday dinner or two here! This Restaurant is such a staple to the Concord Community! The fact that this place I shutting down for such ridiculous lawsuit! I am so saddened by this news! Why target a Mom and Pop business for such a frivolous reason? I pray for the owners, their families and their employees! To whomever made that lawsuit!! The money you are taking. Yes.. TAKING. It is in the expense oF LOOSING ANOTHER COMMUNITY STAPLE, employees lively hoods and a family that just wanted to share their dream to the everyone. CONCORD residents! They are only open till 12/31/24! Let's fill up their seats and keep them booked till then! Hopefully by some miracle they can keep their doors open. :( My prayers and thoughts are with the LIMA RESTAURANT FAMILY! Thank you for all the good times and memories!

Came to Lima craving Peruvian food, and it did not disappoint. The ceviche was bright, tangy, and full of flavor. I especially loved the added white corn for extra texture. The steak and rice were perfectly seasoned and cooked just the way I like. The grilled octopus was tender and tasty (though I wish it came with more than one tentacle). The sangria packed a punch but was delicious, and the yucca was perfectly done. With so many tempting dishes on the menu, there's something for every palate. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Wow! BEST BRUNCH IN THE AREA. I've been coming to Lima for years and recently had the chance to try their new brunch menu which I can't recommend enough. Our party ordered the ribeye steak and eggs, the pork sandwich and the wagyu burger. Everything was perfect (just look at the pictures ). As always, the drinks were amazing as well. I'd highly recommend the chicha morada, pisco sour and emoliente (if you're in the mood for something warm). And as always, the service was super friendly, fast and respectful. And the ambiance was warm and inviting. Can't wait to go back and have another delicious brunch here again soon. Next time I'll bring a bigger party and try out the bottomless mimosas. Gracias Lima!

Lima has been a delisious restaurant we have consistently been wowed by their food. My spouse and I have been patrons of Lima for the past 8 years and have never been disappointed by their flavorful food and nice wait staff. Our main go-to options over the years has been their Papa a la Huancaina, Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Pato, and Tallarin Verde con Bistec. Tallarin Verde con Bistec is my spouse's absolute favorite with a nice thick ribeye steak on top of a bed of pesto-like pasta. The Pesto is a smoother creamier version then what you may initially think like an Italian Pesto which makes it even more fantastic. I think that Lima makes the best Papa a la Huancaina in the general area so I always need an order on the side.

Been here a few times. Because of the Monday holiday no lunch specials were offered. It's ok the party 5 decided to share the seafood paella, beef lomo soltafo.

Came here two days before they closed for good. They were super busy but we got seated pretty quickly by the owner. Food was great! We tried the beef and chicken empanadas, beef stir fry and the pork adobo was very tender! It's sad and disappoi ting to lose such a gem in the community

Was excited to try out this place for dinner. My husband and I wanted to try something local, nearby, and a new restaurant. We came here for Valentines day. They had a Valentines dinner special so we just said "why not?" And just went for it. The food overall was okay. The ceviche was SUPER sour. It's like they drenched it in lemon, but it came with a decent amount of meat. I got a surf and turf. The steak came out good, I ordered medium rare. It came out pretty rare, luckily I didn't mind but it was really squishy and red inside. I thought the veggies were a strange add, especially since the Broccoli was so thinnly cut so it was like I barely got any veggies at all. The bread dessert was to die for though.

What a great and beautiful restaurant! Finally got the chance to come here this past weekend and can happily say that the great reviews are well deserved. While the inside isn't big, the environment is busy and bright. They have a lovely outdoor heated patio as well. The service was great, the food came out fast even though it was super busy. The workers were all very kind and attentive. I had the opportunity to try out a bunch of dishes and loved all of them! I also had a chance to try out the Chicken Stew over rice(not pictured) which was very tasty! The best part about the food here is that it's very flavorful, good portions , and you can leave feeling satisfied. The food isn't too heavy either so you can feel full without feeling sluggish. The pricing for the food is decent too! For the Concord/Walnut Creek area, food can be pretty high in pricing but this place was around maybe $20-30 for an entree. The food quality is great for the price. This place is a very great to stop by if you have the chance, it's a special place for sure! Parking can be a little hard, but manageable. I'd recommend making reservations if possible as it does get busy pretty easily! Anyways, if you have the chance to drop by the place you won't be disappointed!

I was craving Peruvian food and Lima just so happens to be up the street from my job. So why not? I made a reservation through Yelp. Lima is located at Todos Santos Plaza. There is street parking and 2 public parking garages nearby, both free of charge. I know this area pretty well and parking can be challenging especially during the weekend (daytime) or during a special event. We checked in when we arrived and were seated immediately. I just wanted to emphasize that this restaurant is in a fairly nice area. Todos Santos Park is beautiful at night, especially with the trees lit up all the way to the architecture surrounding the park. I was a bit disappointed with the decor inside Lima because I feel that they could've done a better job. But don't mind me, I'm just a sucker for decor. Ambiance is everything! Service was excellent. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Adobo Pork, and Beef Heart Skewer. We enjoyed the Lomo Saltado. The Beef Heart skewer was very tasty, however, the Adobo Pork was just okay. It needed more seasoning. Overall visit was okay. I enjoyed the service more than the food. I've tried Lomo Saltado at 3 different Peruvian Restaurants and this is was at the bottom of the 3, even though they were different by adding an egg on top (an extra $3). This restaurant just needs to step up on the Adobo Pork and interior decorations. 4 stars.

We returned to Lima after many years and the food, drink and service is still good. We had a cocktail and appetizers. The yucca fries were cooked perfectly - crunchy and temperature hot on the outside and soft inside. The seafood ceviche was fresh and the vinaigrette sauce was not too sour. The service was excellent- staff were attentive. There's an outdoor patio where you can bring your furry friends. It was a nice summer day and sitting outside with a slight breeze was nice. Come for happy hour.

Super friendly service and largely enjoyable food. Both the regular pisco and the passion fruit pisco sours were enjoyable. The appetizer platter has a pretty nice assortment of things to try. The highlights were the beef heart (which was nicely seasoned) and the yuca fries (which were nice and crispy). The stuffed potato was also pretty good. The empanadas and causas were just OK. The ceviche was unfortunately was a little disappointing with a fishier flavor than usual. The restaurant was not super busy on a weeknight. Service was attentive and very friendly. I'd come back to try more dishes if I am in the area.

I enjoyed the food and drinks thoroughly! A great spot for great Latin food. I got the duck confeit with cilantro rice. Very tasty! Great pairing of flavorful rice, and crispy tender duck! I loved it. I would've liked more duck but I guess quality over quantity won here. I'm a beer guy so got the Peruvian lager. Very good and I thought it paired well with the dish. Friendly staff and quick with food and drinks. Parking nearby. Accessible. Not much seating and can get tight and crowded but the food makes up for it. Great pleasant music to go with the place.

I just wanted to update my review to let people know this restaurant is closing at the end of the year. They were sued for discrimination, over having ladies nights. If you have a chance to go in and visit them before they close, I highly recommend it. The food and service are wonderful. And they don't deserve what happened to them.

If you come here be sure to come hungry! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, everything here is so delicious. The service was quick and attentive, even on the outdoor patio (which is completely shaded). Great spot to have a really excellent meal in an inviting atmosphere. The ceviche was a highlight for me - it's so light and citrusy and a great way to start. The salsa criolla (the onions on top) complemented the fish really well. We liked every entree we ordered - adobo, duck confit, and bistec a lo pobre (not pictured). Pair with a pisco sour and finish up with alfajores for dessert and you'll be set!

Went here on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't too busy when we got there but by the time we left it got pretty busy. Our server was pretty attentive with our orders and water refills which is always a plus! Drinks Pisco sour - tasted like a typical Pisco, wish it was served in nicer glass like a Cosmo glass. Not a huge deal though Basil martini - tasty Food Pollo Al a Brasa - chicken was a bit dry, fries were really good, and the sauce it was served with was okay. I'm used to a green sauce instead of yellow. Seafood Paella - good mixture of seafood and position size Shredded chick stew - very rich, but good flavor Overall a good experience, I would return

This is a delightful restaurant that I need to definitely come back to. We did not get to try a main dish but had a nice drink that was made perfectly and an appetizer. The service was excellent and the location is great! It may take a bit to find parking during dinner hours!

Today I ate my last authentic Peruvian dish at this wonderful restaurant where great comfort food and exceptional atmosphere are consistent. I learned they are closing its doors Dec 31st! This stemmed from a discrimination law suit "Ladies night" settlement. It is outrageous how some gold diggers are going around fishing, don't care destroying people's livelihood.

This place has an AMAZING menu! My partner has a shellfish allergy but I love fish, so I was super excited that they have a fish-only ceviche option and LOTS of meat options. They also have several unique vegetarian options that I can't wait to try! The employees were super nice, very friendly and helpful with the menu, and there was lots of seating. This is my new favorite spot!

This place is located in such a beautiful plaza. The plaza gives me total Spanish vibes. The food was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. It did take a while for someone to come and bring the check, maybe because we were tucked in a corner, we were forgotten for a bit. Other than that, I'd say I would be interested in returning and trying more dishes. Their alfajores looked really good, so definitely giving those a try. They're doing construction on the sidewalk right up front, so just watch your step!

My friend and I decided to check out Lima one evening since it's so close by and I'm so glad we did! Lima is located really close to Todo Santos park and the whole block has been decorated with lights since the holidays were around the corner. The restaurant itself is easy to spot. There's parking around, so I don't foresee it being difficult to find a spot for your car. They also have plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating. Their outdoor area is enclosed, covered and heated which is nice on a December night. Our waiter was friendly and professional. He gave us some recommendations for drinks and I ended up getting the Pisco Sour which I kept ordering throughout the night, it was delicious! We also ended up getting the Mixed Seafood Ceviche which comes with rockfish, octopus, prawn, squid, sweet potatoes, red onion, cilantro, Peruvian corn and a side of plantain chips. I'm pretty sure I can live off of this dish. SOOO good! We both ended up getting the Lomo Saltado as our main dish. I mean it's the most popular dish and I've never regretted getting it in the past. Lima does a great job with the presentation of their dishes and the flavors are absolutely amazing! If you haven't already tried the Lomo Saltado, I recommend you trying it at Lima! It's basically a beef stir fry and has sautéed beef tenderloin strips with onions, tomatoes, garlic and fries and comes with a side of rice. Definitely recommend Lima. It's great for friends night out, family dinners and date nights.

Have been wanting to try this place and finally did it. Pretty quiet on a Thursday night but I can see place being lively on the weekends. We went with the chicken empanadas and the seafood paella. The empanadas (two per order) were great. The paella had lots of seafood and was also a bit saucy. It was really good! Mussels, clams, shrimp, squid and more. Overall, a very good experience.

Friday lunch was AWESOME! We had tried Lima before and it sounded good.... we were NOT disappointed! OMGoodness, this was a fabulous re-find!!! Everything looked really good, but we zeroed in on their Lunch Specials - it WAS lunchtime! We were served drinks, and a special corn appetizer / nibble. These little nuggets were a great introduction to Peruvian cuisine and culture! We easily made our choices - I ordered the Shredded Chicken Stew, and my husband ordered Pork Adobo. But first... soup or salad.... Soup, of course! In very little time a steaming, generous bowl of Chicken Cilantro soup was served. The bowl was abundant with beautiful vegetables, all swimming in a delicious, savory broth! There were just so many perfectly cooked veggies and an abundance of shredded chicken! The perfect portion of rice was nestled in the bottom of the bowl, and with each generous spoonful, a most amazing soup was enjoyed. This was really, really good soup! And then.... our entrees arrived. My Shredded Chicken Stew was artistically beautiful! The bright yellow colors were highlighted with a tasty black olive, some fresh, crunchy walnut pieces, and perfectly cooked hard-cooked eggs.Tucked inside the amazing stew sauce were potato medallions that added flavor and texture, and that "love of potato" that means YUM! A most generous serving of succulent, shredded chicken was cloaked in the sauce, and with each bite of stew, an accompaniment of delectable rice completed the taste feast! The rice was soft with a mild flavor that complemented the stew so well, AND corn that was similar to hominy but added a gorgeous flavor and amazing texture that made the rice fabulous in flavor, texture and everything! SO GOOD!!! My husband's Pork Adobo was equally delicious - I tried a bite+! AMAZING! The pork was tender, fresh, and truly slow cooked and seasoned! It was presented on a bed of soft beans - absolutely perfectly cooked to fresh, velvety texture. The rice was the same as mine, and was paired with this entree as well! (The rice was soft with a mild flavor that complemented the dish so well, AND corn that was similar to hominy but added a gorgeous flavor and amazing texture that made the rice fabulous in flavor, texture and everything! SO GOOD!!!) The "garnish" was much more than that! The fresh mint salsa highlighted the red onion criola - as the menu says. It was succulent and added such flavors to the pork. A most beautiful marriage - happy, happy, HAPPY! The dessert menu is very Peruvian - and all things are made in-house and homemade! I would have chosen the special bread pudding, but my husband wanted to try the donuts. They are made with squash and pumpkin, which create a more dense donut. Instead of the usually light and airy fried delight, these donuts have a beautiful, deep and rich flavor, but the texture is a little more moist and dense. Serving them with the rich molasses sauce make it a truly flavorful - and at this time of the year - seasonal treat. (Next time it will be the bread pudding though...) Lima Restaurant is in Todos Santos, where there is always plenty of parking (in the lot, especially) and a historical area too. Right across from the park, there are often special events and such - but Lima Restaurant will be our primary destination for more great Peruvian food!

We visited Lima for the first time on Wednesday evening and decided to try a few of their appetizers. We loved the Causa de Pollo, the cheese & beef empanadas, and the steak skewers with chimichurri sauce. They were all delicious! We also enjoyed the passion fruit juice. The star of the show were the Alfajores. Those are the best I've ever tried, the cookie was so fresh it easily crumbled, as any great shortbread should! Great ambiance and excellent customer service.

Food was beautifully platted and delicious. The seasoning is perfect . Meat was tender and just juicy. Plátanos were crispy, sweet delicious. The sauce ,the meat . Everything was delicious. Highly recommend very authentic. We sat outside was perfect ambience cute town setting view. service was amazing everyone was very friendly . Over all all was exceptional

We always visit Lima Restaurant when we are in town. We love the ambiance. The owners and Chef are very welcoming and make every visit feel special. The food is incredible. Fresh, tasty and creative. We are always delighted with every new dish and drink we try. We live very far away and always make a point to come here whenever we are in town. There is no other place that compares to this Peruvian restaurant. This is as authentic as it gets. We can't wait to come back and have our favourites: Leche de Tigre, Anticuchos and Sour Pisco to drink are among our favourites. If you haven't been here, don't waste any more time and come for a visit - you will glad you came!

A very nice restaurant with some great food in a beautiful setting near a park with lights and flowers in Concord, CA. We had a great time having some nice Peruvian cuisine. Food was served generously nice Ambiance and great service with a smile. The area is nice for a family outing or even a romantic dinner and date night. We went on a Sunday late evening and maybe because of that the crowd was missing. Will come back again to Lima for sure. Another plus point is how clean there bathroom was. I always say if they keep there bathroom clean then their kitchen must be kept well too.

We enjoyed a Friday night double date to Lima. The restaurant was busy but we were able to be seated immediately and had very attentive service. We started by sharing two appetizers, the Nikkei Tuna Ceviche and Chicken Causa. Both were refreshing on a hot evening and plenty to share four ways. You can tell the tuna was good quality. For my entree I had the Duck Leg Confit & Cilantro Rice - Arroz con Pato. It was a large portion of flavorful rice with a nicely cooked duck leg. The meat was seasoned perfectly and fell right off the bone. My husband had the Seafood Paella - Arroz con Marisco which was loaded with fish and very good too. We will definitely be back!

Lima is a great place to sample some Peruvian cuisine! With a beautiful indoor setting, and a large patio outside with a fountain adjacent, you can enjoy your authentic flavors and a cocktail. The food is great and our server Paola was very attentive, kind and even made our special day that much better. The cocktails pack a punch! My favorite is the Passionfruit Margarita. I like it so much I haven't tried much else. The dinners are so good, I love the ceviche, I've tried them all but my favorite is the tuna. Very fresh flavors and highly recommended. The lamb skank is extremely tender and falls off the bone. It's delicious. The pork adobo is probably a close second for me, it's just so flavor packed. The sauce is so good. The skewered meats are divine, I recommend the beef heart, the octopus and the shrimp. My favorite was definitely the beef heart. The papas plates are simply scrumptious, the ribeye one is my favorite. It's like a baked potato dumpling filled with meat and sauce. Paola recommended it, apparently it is difficult to prepare and many Peruvian restaurants don't even serve it. Everything is great here, my husband and I had our first date here and you could say it went well. We still love to come! Give it a try.

The service was okay. Our waiter was nice, but he didn't check up on us a lot. The menu is pretty limited and overpriced for their quality and quantity. I recommend Limon for Peruvian food 1000%!! So so good and worth every penny!

Came to Lima today it was absolutely amazing the food was so good! The best peruvian food Ive had. The service was perfect, our waiters name was "Butch" hopefully im spelling his name right. Very nice and respectful he also recommended drinks to us and let me taste two different ones before deciding. Nothing but good vibes there at Lima! Our waiter made us laugh and made sure we had a good time. Definitely recommend going to Lima!

I had a great dinner at Concord's Lima Restaurant this week. I haven't been here in years but glad I made it back to try it out again. The dishes were generously portioned and flavors were great. Previously, I had an issue with too much salt being used but not this night. It was great to see so many tables occupied on a weekday night. Looking forward to going back trying some additional dishes in the future. The best dish was the pesto pasta and heaping 12 oz steak. Perhaps a little chimichurri on the side and some more potatoes would've helped balance the richness of the pasta. Also, I tried the picarones for dessert. They were piping hot so freshness was confirmed! Just wish that they were drained a while longer as each bite was dripping with oil.

Service was horrible! I pride myself on forming my own opinions and not swayed by previous reviews. I went in with an open mind. I wish the service was better. First, we were seated then ignored. The waiter left us for a long time then someone checked in on us and we gave our order to her. She wrote it down then came back a few minutes later to confirm our drink orders. Didn't I see her write it down? When the orders came, which took awhile, they forgot our appetizers, which we did without. Our entrees were excellent! The food itself was worth the wait. I had the braised lamb shank. It was so tender and well seasoned. The Calgary beans were amazing. The ambience was lively and very pleasant.

The decor of this place was decent and the host let us pick our table since the place want too busy on a Sunday night. My wife and I started with the mixed seafood ceviche which had a nice tang. The red onions gave it more freshness. We were disappointed there were no plantain chips. We both ordered the seafood paella. I enjoyed the bit of heat it had, however it was a bit mushy like jambalaya. The service was better than average. Our server was very polite and attentive. I also had a Machu Picchu, it's a creeper drink for sure.

I finally tried this place about 8 months ago. I was unfamiliar with the Peruvian cuisine. I wanted to try their Ceviche Limeno and Fried Camari Jaleita, so I went for happy hour. The Calamari was cooked to perfection, crispy outside and soft inside, also great seasoning. The Ceviche was very good. Of course I've "sampled" their cocktails, Pisco Sour, Cucumber Basil Martini and Watermelon Drop. All wonderful. After I cocktail I crave dessert. The bread pudding never disappointing. This is a perfect spot for a beautiful day in their outdoor patio.

The food was delicious! However if you're going to come here I hope you have time. It took an hour for our food to come out and the place was pretty empty. Worth the wait though! I would absolutely come back again. I wasn't the biggest fan of the lomo saltado but that's because I had modifications so I wouldn't necessarily trust my opinion on that. However the Pork Adobo was sooooooo good. I would come back just for that. We also had the yucca fries as an appetizer and those were delicious as well. If you're going to eat here I recommend an appetizer as you wait for your food.

Place is comfortable But food is definitely the negative point in this restaurant, im Peruvian and spend your money here hoping a great food experience is something that not is going to happen Food 4/10 *

Finally got together with some BFFs from junior high and their husbands. One couple suggested we eat something different...something they don't really offer in Sacramento. Peruvian was thrown around. I've only been to one place and didn't care for it all that much. Lima (located at Todos Santos Plaza in Downtown Concord), however, is a different story. Our party of 6 decided to sit outdoors in their lovely patio. The weather was gorgeous so we took advantage of dining al fresco. Todos Santos Plaza is beautiful in the evening when all the trees are lit. Sitting outdoors at Lima provides a better ambiance so you can gaze at the festive plaza while you eat. There is limited street parking and two parking garages for your convenience. Since this was only the second time eating Peruvian cuisine, my husband and I decided to share our entrees. He chose the Paella (Arroz con Mariscos) and I ordered the Poor Man's Steak (Bistec a lo Pobre). The seafood paella was amazing. Lots of fresh calamari, clams, and mussels adorned the dish. The rice was perfectly cooked and took on the flavors of the ocean without being fishy. My steak was hearty and juicy. The Peruvian rice was nice and garlicky. And it came with a fried egg, sweet plantains (yum!), and fries. So much food and great for sharing. I also had to try Peru's signature drink, Pisco Sour. Loved the sour citrus and the foam from the egg white. Definitely a unique concoction! And did you see the adorable happy face on my cocktail? So cute! Our server was delightful. He was patient, attentive, and kept filling our waters and removing plates. I think he knew we were having a "mini reunion" so he let us enjoy the evening without feeling rushed. I didn't know they offer lunch specials and Happy Hour so I will be back for sure to try other dishes.

Came here for lunch with some coworkers. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance but the quality of the food is what really makes up the dining experience at Lima. I got the Ribeye with Pesto Noodles, it came with a side of potatoes in a delicious sauce. I ordered medium rare and I got medium rare. The waiter was very considerate and gave us some suggestions about what to order given that we needed to get back to work at a reasonable time. The food actually came out fairly quick. The price point is more on the expensive side but I think it's justifiable given the quality of the food. This is a great place to go if you're looking for a fancy and authentic Peruvian meal in downtown Concord.

Yesterday I ordered seafood ceviche Causa with EXTRA sauce. I received ceviche in separate container with only 5 pieces of fish, no seafood, no vegetables... nothing. Causa was separate as well and no sauce, no egg, no tomatoes like the 2 pictures in the menu. They show one dish online but you get something completely different. We asked for extra sauce??? Where is the sauce that you always put on the causa??? Where is the egg & tomatoes? We will not be coming back!!! This is expensive and ridiculous. The Causa was so small and only had avocado inside. The lady didn't want to put the ceviche inside... ok but where is the rest? Why is the portion so small???

This is such a wonderful place!! First time going there and will continue to try everything on their menu!! We had a great host, he was absolutely gracious and provided great recommendations. We ordered drinks, jalea, ceasar salad and the beef. Very nice location, plenty of parking and seating.

We normally don't hangout around Concord but we were in the mood for Peruvian food and a YouTuber suggested this place. It's located centrally in a very good looking town. The server was very nice, but needed help. They had about 10 tables outdoor and he was the only server outside and there was a party of 40 inside with another server. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, Poor Man's Steak, and a kids chicken strip with fries. We waited for almost an hour after we ordered. We were starving and the server told us the kitchen had some issues, but no complimentary drink or snacks. Food was average at best even when we were starving. The steak was way over cooked and dry. The Lomo Saltado was average. Sadly the best thing were the fries on my plate.

My experience at LIMA was outstanding, highly recommended! Butch he was our server love his attitude goofy fun crazy like me .. lol Good customer service manager John briefly introduce himself to us and ask how everything was.. quick respond I said. "outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for... food are must delicioso i was so pleased with the service we received from LImA staff especially Butch! He went above and beyond to help me find the perfect cocktail drink, appetizers and main course.. thank you LIMA STAFF

Had the Slow braised pork Osso Buco with Parmesan polenta, side veggies and mint salsa criolla for lunch on a Thursday at 1pm. It was incredible! The meat was lean and fell off the bone, the sides were perfect, excellent flavors that were not overpowering. The service was also excellent. This may have been a limited time item, but I sure hope they have it the next time, because I am already craving it, and I almost never eat pork. The interior is neat, warmly decorated with an intimate bar area. It has a nice location on the Todos Santos square. The outside seating area should be lovely in good weather.

We visited Lima awhile back and enjoyed it. We were excited for some Peruvian food today, especially since our housemate is leaving for a trip and wanted to get dinner together. Originally we were going to dine in, but decided to do delivery instead. We went on a walk with our pup and I got back to dinner being delivered along with a voicemail from John (Owner/Chef), which he mentioned forgetting an item I ordered but went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my experience after giving him a call back. All I have to say is the customer service here is beyond fantastic and I literally have no words to describe how I feel. We ordered Lomo Saltado, Papa a la Huancaína, and Bread Pudding. We also tried Alfajores. Everything was delicious and I look forward to visiting again! Thanks so much, John (=
