"At Limani, the Wharf’s newest dining option arriving Wednesday, November 15, guests are transported to the glitzy Greek isles through classic Mediterranean fare and expansive waterfront views. The 16,000-square-foot scenic marvel situated in an over-water structure seats 600-plus on three levels — and claims newfound rights to the largest, full-service terrace at the Wharf. The restaurant offers a refined approach to traditional Greek specialties such as the 4-pound branzino baked in sea salt. The drinks program features riffs on quintessential seaside refreshments, including a blood orange margarita and Greek varietals. Elegant design touches include a bar made from Greek marble and faux olive trees." - Mekita Rivas

Our friends treated us to a wonderful experience for my husband’s birthday. Limani pulled out all the stops to deliver a memorable evening. We were seated in one of the igloos that was well-insulated, well-decorated and offered stunning views of the wharf. There is a Bluetooth speaker to play your music of choice paired from your phone. Our group loved the privacy and setting of the igloo. Service was excellent. Our server, Mona, was extremely attentive and ensured our cocktails never ran low. She was extremely professional while still exuding warmth and playfulness. All the dishes we ordered were great, but one standout was the fried calamari. It was fried in a light batter that was perfectly seasoned. Thank you, Limani, for making my husband’s birthday so perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Limani, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with just the right blend of modern decor and cozy touches. It’s clear the owners put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming space. The food was exceptional! Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I highly recommend starting with the grilled calamari, which was both unique and delicious. For the main course, the Fagri with grilled vegetable Marley was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Each bite was a treat! The service was impeccable—our server and the manager Fernando were very attentive and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It was clear the staff takes pride in the food and the experience they’re creating. To top it all off, the dessert was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines incredible food, a comfortable atmosphere, and top-notch service, Limani is a must-visit. We can’t wait to come back!

My Besties threw me a surprise BDay dinner at Limani located on the DC wharf. The restaurant layout is beautiful with a great view of the water front and art work of geographic maps etc. It was a Saturday night & I’m not quite sure if they were short staffed or not, however it took a little while for us to get our orders in & hit the table. One of the staff (chef maybe?) was pleasantly witty and the rest appeared to have did their best considering the noticeably minor circumstances. The food was good but a few items were not as hot as they should have been since we shared each other’s meals. Overall I’m grateful for the ladies putting this memorable experience together cause we made the best of everything by enjoying each other’s company. I’m grateful for the establishment’s effort accompanied by the sweetest gesture and element of surprise from such Amazing friends. I’d still give it another Whirl….Thanks for having us. Cheers!!!!

What an experience! The food was superb! Very beautiful restaurant over the water at the Wharf in DC. Our waitress Sarah and her team of 3 were very poise, elegant and detailed with everything they did for us! Excellent choice of restaurant!

A not so hidden gem: I must admit, I approached Limani with a touch of trepidation. The mixed online reviews and the persistent inability to reach them by phone had me second-guessing my decision. However, my brunch experience was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the restaurant's organization was evident. Our 11:00 AM reservation was promptly accommodated, on the middle floor, where the buffet was located, everything meticulously set up. The attention to detail was impressive, and the atmosphere was inviting. Our server, Sarah, was a standout. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and attentiveness were exceptional. She was always there when we needed her, but never intrusive. Sarah's recommendations were spot-on, and her joyful demeanor added to our overall experience. The host was equally impressive. She checked in with us periodically, even after we were seated, and her comical personality was a welcome addition. The buffet itself was a feast for the eyes and the palate. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cleanliness and organization of the buffet area were commendable. I had the pleasure of speaking with the assistant AGM, and she was incredibly friendly and informative "The Brunch Queen" for sure. Her down-to-earth demeanor and genuine interest in our experience made a lasting impression. Overall, our brunch at Limani was a resounding success. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend Limani to anyone looking for a memorable brunch experience at The Wharf DC.

We came for Saturday bottomless seafood brunch, and overall we had a wonderful experience with those expectations and the price point. The seafood was cooked to perfection (lobster and shrimp still had great bite, snow crab claws were nicely done) and the local oysters were fresh. The grilled salmon was made very well (crispy exterior, melt-in-your-mouth interior). The roast prime rib and leg of lamb was pretty good--not mind-blowing but not bad either.

Went here on 2/22 for a birthday celebration with friends and I absolutely loved it! The food and drinks were delicious! The service was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing! I’d definitely go back!

We had an amazing time at Limani for brunch! There were 5 of us, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The service was outstanding—our drinks were constantly topped up without us even having to ask. The brunch selection was impressive, with something for everyone, and the quality of the food was top-notch. A special shoutout to the gentleman at the carving station. When I asked how I’d like my meat to be cut, he not only delivered but went above and beyond my expectations. It’s a buffet, yet the attention to detail and effort he put in truly amazed me. It’s rare to see that level of care, and it made the experience even more memorable. The warm hospitality, combined with the stunning location overlooking the wharf, made it all the more enjoyable. The vibe was fantastic—perfect for catching up with friends or celebrating a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
I visited Limani for brunch with a party of five to celebrate my birthday. Since it was a beautiful day, we were seated outside on the rooftop, which made for a stunning atmosphere. The Food: The buffet was plentiful and absolutely delicious--there was truly something for everyone. One of my friends has a shellfish allergy, but they had no trouble finding a variety of other options to enjoy. The baklava pancakes were a standout dish, and if you're ordering anything from the kitchen, you just need to let your server know, and they'll bring it out. This was, without a doubt, the best brunch experience I've had in D.C. The food, atmosphere, and pricing all made sense: $65 for unlimited food and an additional $25 for bottomless mimosas--plus, gratuity was included. The Service: Unfortunately, the only downside to our experience was the service. Our table seemed to be easily forgotten, and we constantly had to ask (and re-ask) for basic things like mimosas, juice for the mimosas, and even the food we ordered from the kitchen. Meanwhile, we noticed other tables around us receiving prompt attention. We initially tried to be understanding--it was a busy Saturday afternoon, the weather was gorgeous, and we could tell the staff had their hands full. But as time went on, it became clear that our table was consistently getting the short end of the stick. We had to flag down different servers multiple times just to get what we had already paid for, and at one point, we even had to pull someone aside to express our frustration. While I understand that restaurant service can be overwhelming, I do think that all guests should be given the opportunity to enjoy their experience without feeling like they have to beg for basic service. The one saving grace was that we were allowed to stay past our two-hour reservation limit, which helped make up for the delays. Overall: Would I return? Yes. The food was spectacular, the ambiance was gorgeous, and despite the service issues, we still had a wonderful time. The energy was lively, and we even connected with the other tables around us, making for an even more enjoyable experience. I just hope that in the future, the service is more consistent so that all guests feel equally valued. I'm really glad I celebrated my birthday here, and I'd absolutely give it another try!

Yelp
HORRIBLE Valentine's Day experience - we ended up leaving without even being seated! My BF had prepaid for the reservation, like $165 a person. The res was for 8:30 - we got there and the hostess told us they were "running a little behind" and would text us when the table was ready. We looked around the lobby and realized there were at least 50 other grumpy/angry looking people waiting to be seated too. I've never seen anything like it. Several people told us they'd been waiting for over an hour past their reservation time. We quickly decided that wasn't going to work, and we ended up leaving and going to Philippe Chow next door, which thankfully had tables open. We fully finished eating at Philippe Chow and were paying the bill when Limani finally texted us at *10:40 pm* that our table was ready - 2 hours and 10 mins after the reservation! Absolutely terrible

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine's Day. We had a 5:45 pm reservation and we were seated 30 minutes late. Our server kept on changing throughout the night because they were clearly understaffed and we spent most of the time just sitting there waiting for our courses to be served. Staff was friendly but everything was so disorganized. The food was okay but not worth the price. The dishes were fine but for the price we paid, they should have been delicious. The oysters were the highlight but the salad and pita courses were meh. My boyfriend paid $480 for our food + 2 drinks. This included a 20% service charge that was not disclosed up front. We had to ask for our dessert to go because we had other plans that night and we were already running late because of the lack of service. I thought our service was slow, but the poor couple next to us had it worse because they had only received their first course and were still waiting on the others by the time we left. And they were seated BEFORE us. By the time we got downstairs to leave, we were shocked at the lines and how disorganized things looked. We clearly had one of the better experiences of the night and even then it was bad. We will not be going back which is a shame because the location and atmosphere was stunning. Hopefully management learns from this and makes some changes.

Yelp
The hubby and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day at Limani this year. While the evening was lovely overall, the dining experience fell short--especially considering the price. First Impressions: Upon arriving, we were greeted by beautiful views of the waterfront and a well-decorated space with plenty of seating. The Wait & Service: As expected for a day like Valentine's Day, we encountered a wait and a crowd. However, we didn't anticipate a 45-minute wait and an entire dining experience that lasted a total of three hours! This meant that on top of the $400 bill (which included two cocktails, the fixed menu, taxes, and tips), we also had to pay an extra $37 for parking. Again, this would have totally been fine if the food at least met our expectations. I do appreciate the restaurant taking into account my gluten allergy accommodations, but my husband, who is not celiac, was not able to try items that are normally put on the side. The Fixed Menu: We opted for the set Valentine's Day menu at $165 per person, which included the following: * Course 1: Greek Meze (to share) * Course 2: Salad (to share) * Course 3: Octopus (to share) * Course 4: Main Course: Lamb Chops & Branzino (each) * Course 5: Dessert: Sherbet (to share) Course 1 & 2: The Greek meze and the salad were both disappointing. The hummus tasted store-bought, like something from Trader Joe's, while the Caesar salad didn't stand out in any way, other than the fact that we were given mozzarella cheese instead of Parmesan. Course 3: The octopus was well-seasoned but unfortunately overcooked for our taste. We were hungry, and it tasted fine, but it wasn't our favorite. Course 4: The lamb chops were the highlight of the evening--deliciously cooked and worthy of compliments to the chef. Unfortunately, the Branzino was less impressive. It was drenched in capers, and the fish lacked seasoning, leaving me disappointed. Course 5: For dessert, we were served three balls of sherbet. Two were excessively sweet and tasted old, while only the lemon-flavored one stood out as enjoyable. I wish they would have had something more appealing given the special day. Final Thoughts: On a positive note, the cocktails were excellent, and I would certainly consider returning for happy hour. However, the overall experience didn't match the high prices, and I've had better meals for much less. While the atmosphere was beautiful and the service fine, the food simply didn't deliver.

Yelp
I went with my fiancé in celebration for my birthday. This restaurant caters towards Mediterranean fusion-esque food, with an ode to seafood and steak (upscale Greek). This was the first time we went, and we had to ask about the menu and how the items were prepared. Most of the items on the menu were prepared Mediterranean style, with oil and lemon dressing. The unique part about the service from this place is that the sous chef comes out to check with the table about allergies and specific needs for food exposure. This was very important for us as a couple that eats healthy with food sensitivities. The restaurant was beautiful--it sits on the waterfront at The Wharf. Boats and yachts float around Limani; the docks are nicely lit. Standouts to try: octopus, swordfish, and cocktails (The cocktails were interesting to try, and were distinctly flavored). Definitely look into this place, but research the menu before coming. It's definitely an experience to be had!

Yelp
I was super excited to celebrate a friends birthday at Limani in one of their igloos. If you're looking for fine dining in Washington, DC, Limani ranks top 3 in my book. Literally one of the best experiences Ive had in forever. Offering a remarkable AND fresh seafood menu, where each dish captures the essence of the sea. Not to mention its multilevel layout with breathtaking views of the Potomac River. I promise you, this is where you want to dine next! Our waiter was phenomenal and extremely attentive. Here's what was on the table: Seafood tower - oysters, lobster tail, lump crab, muscles, and caviar Greek Spreads Tomato Salad, Kolokithi Mains: Lobster pasta Lamb chops Cowboy ribeye Served w/ grilled Vega and lemon potatoes Dessert: Portokolopita Baklava Macaroons Parking is available via street side meter or parking garages 1-4 35-60 Business Casual Open Daily, check website for specific times Weekend Brunch Menu Available

Yelp
We definitely had a 5 star experience at Limani. Spectacular views, stellar service, intimate ambiance, and all great food options. It definitely had the white tablecloth experience. We were attending a show at DAR and we didn't dine long, I did order the Lobster pasta, and it was very flavorful. I would like to return for bruch, as I hear that it is one of the best at the Wharf. If you are looking for a more upscale dining experience, Limani is a go-to.

Yelp
Wouldn't you like Dining under the stars, in an igloo overlooking the water, well you can at Limani at the Wharf til March. This luxurious experience is as breathtaking as the view They have multiple dining options that are exclusive for the igloos My favorite was all of the food with option C. The lobster pasta and the caviar were to die for!!! The service is amazing and the food is so delicious They also come equipped with a Bluetooth speaker, heaters, and blankets so you can be warm and feel enjoy vibes This is perfect for a friends night out or date night

Yelp
This is first time trying their buffet and It's awesome, especially if you like seafood ... oysters, shrimp, and lobster tail. They even have a la carte items, which are included in the weekend buffet, like baklava pancakes. Great service and great food. I would go here again! We had an excellent time here!!!

Yelp
We came here for my birthday dinner. It wasn't a great experience. We ordered the branzino, lamb chops, and vegetable medley. The food tasted ok, but none of it was amazing. Where it really fell flat was the service. We had to ask multiple times to get a cocktail. The second one we ordered never came, the wait staff wasn't very attentive, and it took a long time to get served. The restaurant is beautiful, but we won't be back because of the service.

Carlton M.

Yelp
Let me get the bad out of the way. The wait was extremely long. They def overbooked. Had 10:00 reservations. Didn't sit down until 11:15. Some people were waiting since 9:00. That was wild. But the food more than made up for it. The eating experience was amazing. The pita bread starter with these three sauces were phenomenal. Had the tomato salad and octopus as the first and second course. Amazing. Split the lamb chops and lobster salad. All of the food was a 10 out of 10. I have no complaints about that. The ambiance was gorgeous. Great view of the wharf and the inside seating was amazing. Def pricey but this is an experience worth the payment. I have no complaints besides the wait time. Def a good place to eat.

Yelp
We decided we wanted to do brunch and wanted to try some place new to us. A few caveats, we wanted to go on a Saturday and we wanted a buffet with seafood options. Sounds simple, right? Seems like what we were looking for was more of a Sunday thing. After an exhausting search on Yelp, I found Limani and it checked all the boxes. We walked in without reservations and were seated right away. This place is huge and has multiple floors. We were seated on the first floor at a table that was facing the water. The view was incomparable. As far as I was concerned we had the best table in house. Jason was our server and he was very pleasant and attentive. The buffet was amazing. The seafood offerings were very fresh and plentiful. They had an array of fruit, pastries and desserts. A few criticisms...carving station, all of the meat was cooked well done and was a little dry. They offer finishing salt, definitely made all the difference. Secondly, they add 4% surcharge for rising food cost as well as 16% gratuity on all checks. All the fees were clearly outlined on the menu, no surprises, just not a fan of automatic surcharges and additional fees. All in all we really enjoyed Limani and will definitely be back.

Megan K.

Yelp
Limani is a beautiful restaurant that offers water views and a vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance strikes a balance between elegance and comfort, though it can get a bit noisy during busy hours. We visited for the bottomless brunch, which comes with a two-hour time limit. This format is perfect for sampling a variety of dishes from their menu, and the food did not disappoint. Every plate was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Our group opted to add the bottomless mimosas for an additional $30 per person, which included a selection of fresh fruit juices--an excellent complement to the meal. Service was attentive and efficient, even with the bustling crowd. Limani is a great spot for a get-together with friends, a special occasion, or even a romantic date. Between the stunning views, excellent food, and top-notch service, it's an experience worth savoring.

Yelp
Bougie Brunch Alert!!!! On date night a few weeks ago, my Big Spoon said, "why haven't we been here". I know why I haven't been here. I love the Wharf but I do not love the parking situation. With so much restaurant competition in DC, I am not thinking about Limani when it comes to fine dining. Well, well, well... Alexa Play The Greatest Romance Ever Sold by Prince. "Was there ever a reason for us to be apart?" I needed Limani in my life and didn't know, and the Big Spoon made it happen. Wish it wouldn't have been a surprise brunch because I would have dressed up, like WAY UP. The ambiance is everything, classy, elegant and the views - just lovely! (Kisses my fingers) Let's Get Into it: Lobster fantastic! Lobster Mac fantastic! Eggs made to order fantastic! Baklava pancakes - Good but not my fave! This is a traditional Mediterranean Brunch! Too much good food to write about, make your reservation immediately! Disclaimer: Check your bill , save your receipt, or take a pic of your signed bill. My honey had an extra $100 added to our bill that he had to call in about.

Yelp
Review: We visited Limani as a group of seven, eager to explore its upscale Greek seafood offerings. The experience did not disappoint! Food: One standout for me was the fried Greek cheese served with one of the sides--crispy and perfectly seasoned with a light flour coating. It was so good that we asked for more, and the staff generously brought us a larger plate to enjoy. The star of the meal, however, was the 4-pound branzino baked in sea salt. It was cooked to perfection, with a tender, flavorful texture that reminded me of authentic Greek and Turkish-style fish. It's been ages since I've had fish this good! Drinks: While the drink options were a bit limited--no rakı and only a few ouzos--my friends enjoyed the ouzo they tried. I opted for a white wine, which paired beautifully with the meal. Service: The service was exceptional--attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. In addition to the extra plate of cheese, they surprised us with a complimentary fruit plate at the end of the meal, which was a lovely touch. I'd absolutely come back, especially for that branzino. Limani has definitely left a lasting impression!

Yelp
If brunch is your thing, I mean, really your thing, then you need to put on your track shoes and run to Limani! If you're familiar with Sequoia's brunch which I would defend against any other DC brunch spot as the best, Limani showed me Sequoia has a new rival, like the Cowboys and Redskins (Commanders) USED to be..SMH..lol! Location, Location, Location, Limani is located in a stand alone building, right on the water at the Wharf. Absolutely beautiful inside, the lovely host escorted us upstairs and sat us by the window, making our experience even better looking at the yachts we can't afford :)))) The buffet spread was freaking AMAZING!! I won't/can't list it all, so I'll note what we had...lobster tails, crab claws, jumbo chilled shrimp, lobster mac, crab rice, smoked salmon, grilled salmon, rack of lamb, pancakes (made to order), eggs (made to order). Again, so much more was offered to include a desert table. All for $65pp and an additional $25pp for bottomless Rose and Mimosas! Service was impeccable. Our server even addressed me by my first name. How did he know?!?..now that's service!! Our bottomless mimosa glasses never got passed half before he was refilling it. I literally had to cover my glass so he would stop..LOL!!! Limani is smaller than Sequoia but just as good! The GF and I made a pact while in the middle of eating, we're doing this at least once a month..DEAL!!!!

Charnika P.

Yelp
Been to Limani a few times now and I would def recommend it. It's definitely a place you go to impress if it's a date. Or, brunch with your girls. The vibe is upscale/fancy but also chill. The food is overall really good. But if I'm honest I think the best value is brunch. They have played with the brunch concept and layout and I think they have finally hit the jackpot with the buffet style. There is something for everyone on the buffet and it's a seafood lover's dream. Also I love the happy hour menu which includes some of the best lobster rolls and Greek fries I have had in the city.

Ashley S.

Yelp
A solid lunch experience. You can get a price fixed 3-course lunch for $39, with $18 extra for the lobster pasta option, which I selected. Impressive portions, considering it was lunch. We started with the Greek tomato salad (delicious!) and the fried calamari (okay). My husband had the roast chicken, which he found just to be fine. I had the lobster pasta, which was delicious and so filling,I had to take most of it to go. For dessert, we shared the orange cake (again, delicious!) and a yummy vanilla ice cream. Nice spot for a filling business lunch on The Wharf.

Yelp
I came here for my besties birthday! We went one Saturday night. Parking was terrible! The garages were all full! It was so hard to find parking. I would suggest taking a ride share to the wharf. After we all finally met up, we waited to be seated. It is beautiful inside! The servers wore a uniform. Everything was clean cut. It was a bit in the quiet side but provided great views. For appetizers, I ordered the octopus, and jumbo shrimp. The grilled octopus was delicious! The shrimp was ok. Loved the fries! My friends enjoyed their lamb and steak meals. My favorite thing from here was the deconstructed baklava dessert! It was a cold dessert but tasted great! If you are familiar, sometimes regular baklava is a little warm. I would go back just for that. Beautiful place but wished the foods had more flavor with it being a Mediterranean style food place.

Ieshia T.

Yelp
Yes, we can all agree they have a great location overlooking the water at the warf and the decor is beautiful. However when assessing the food, each item I tried from the buffet and their a la cart menu, was great except the seafood. I didn't trust the oysters because I noticed some bore holes within some of their shells. The lobster was very chewy. I was really missing warm butter to dip it in but it wasn't offered. They did have other sauces but only a small bowl of cocktail sauce was provided which seemed to be empty almost each time we saw it. There were other sauces including horseradish for the oysters that could be used but something was definitely missing. Service was exceptional and they were very accommodating. TAKE NOTE: if you wish to sit upstairs on the penthouse level and try the buffet you will have to either take the stairs or elevator down and back up. I did not know this. However they did accommodate us with the table on the same level with the buffet. Upstairs is the place to be after eating brunch. They had a DJ and a gteat vibe. There are a lot of well dressed men and I definitely wished we could have stayed but we had other plans already. I did try some of their desserts and authentic Greek dishes which I did enjoy. See pictures.

Ashley J.

Yelp
Kimani's brunch experience was very different yet so good! The servers kept that champagne coming and the ambiance was amazing as I was facing the water! I definitely need to experience this again!

Yelp
How Limani doesn't have 5 stars is truly a shock to me! For this years Holiday/Secret Santa brunch my friends and I chose Limani at the Wharf. From the moment I arrived I could tell they were special and despite the price tag ($65 bottomless brunch + $25 for bottomless drinks). For starters this location is gorgeous with beautiful views of the water and an inviting and aesthetically pleasing space. We were sat on the main floor by the window at our exact reservation time and the place was packed at 1 pm. Our servers were friendly and came by immediately to tell us about the menu and how the buffet works. Once we ordered our drinks we headed upstairs to check out the buffet. Oh. My. Goodness. Lobster, oysters, pasta, potatoes, prime rib, Mac and cheese - the list goes on! We had SO many options and everything I tasted was DELICIOUS. Our group was beyond satisfied with everyone being able to choose things they liked. Everyone went back for seconds! Plus the servers were friendly and kept coming by to top off our drinks. We also enjoyed some of the a la carte options which included some of the tastiest French toast, waffles, and Spanakopita. Limani was the perfect place for Sunday brunch and worth every penny. When booking on open table we were provided with detailed information on which experience we would have (almost went for the igloos) which made for a smooth experience when we arrived (e.g., time limits, full group arrival requirements). Bonus - when you're done with brunch head up to the penthouse for a festive experience (at least during the holidays) where they are decked out in Christmas decor! We had a 5 star experience and I look forward to bringing friends and family in the future.

Yelp
We recently dined at Limani for their unlimited brunch, and it was a fantastic experience. The spread offered a delicious mix of American and Mediterranean fare, with a la minute small plates like the Baklava Pancakes--10/10, highly recommend! Moist, flavorful, and perfectly textured. The buffet featured fresh seafood (oysters, shrimp), vibrant salads, and charcuterie, while hot dishes like shrimp & grits, breakfast potatoes, and thick-cut bacon were standout favorites. The dessert station was plentiful as well. The drinks, like the fruity Venus Blossom and the Espresso Martini (All the Cool Kids Have One), were delicious. Service was top-notch, with a knowledgeable server and attentive staff keeping the buffet stocked and our table clear. The beautiful water view of the wharf added to the experience. Overall, Limani's brunch is a must-try!

Yelp
Recently came here with a party of 11 to celebrate a birthday. We'd previously heard about Limani's amazing brunch buffet. And amazing it was! Many delicious upscale options added to the traditional brunch offering. Served to us at the table was eggs, spanikopita, avocado toast, waffles and pancakes. On buffet, leg of lamb, prime rib, oysters, lobster, cracked snow crab claw, grilled salmon, roasted Brussels, charcuterie and more! When I say it's worth the price it is. Some of my faves were the waffles, lobster, prime rib, shrimp & grits, oysters, Brussels sprouts, eggs and avocado toast. I don't even think I tried everything there was sooo much food! The price for brunch is 65. If you'd like unlimited mimosas or rose, it's an additional 25. With our mimosas we were served pineapple and peach juice. Yum! Ambiance and service was on point. Kat, Raquel, Andrea and Luis were very kind and courteous during our 2 hr reservation. Limani is located on the wharf, so the view is amazing if seated on the water side or rooftop. Definitely paying them another visit!

Yelp
Any restaurant that gives me a wine glass almost as large as my head deserves a phenomenal review! I chose Limani to celebrate my sister's engagement and it was not a mistake. Although it was crowded when I got there, the staff moves quick and is super accommodating. Even if you're not having dinner, the downstairs bar is gorgeous for a quick drink. For starters, my sister and I split the scallops, spantakopa, and the crab cake. We were both so hungry it was gone within 10 minutes! SN: the scallops are probably my favorite. For entrees, I got the famed lobster pasta and it didn't disappoint. I usually don't like tomato sauces with seafood but this sauce was nice and light, it wasn't a hearty robust tomato sauce, more light and fresh. And they don't skimp on the lobster! My sister got the lambchops and was reluctant to share because it they were so good! As a beautiful finish, we devoured the pavlova and almost had to roll home! Looking for a good cocktail? Go with the dance in the rain! Enjoy!

Yelp
Pricey, but worth it! This isn't the place to come for a deal, but if you're looking for a casual yet romantic atmosphere, it delivers. The service was impeccable, and the views were breathtaking. Our servers made excellent recommendations for both drinks and cuisine, and everything was absolutely perfect. Be prepared to splurge--you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Ambiance: Absolutely beautiful. It's luxurious with gorgeous chandeliers and soothing tones of seafoam and white. Service: Sara, our head waiter, did a lovely job of explaining the menu and made nice suggestions. She also let us know that the small plates are generous in size! Our gentleman who was in charge of serving us drinks was also amazing. Our plates were cleared by other staff as we finished them. The best part: drinks and food! Sangria- nicely balanced and quite refreshing. Yes, a bit sweet but lovely. My friend had the Dance in the Rain which she enjoyed. We ordered 2 small plates: Seasonal watermelon salad: yummy and light! Spanakopita: a classic. Nicely presented and tasty to eat! Then we split the lamb chops with veggies and fries. This dish was cooked to perfection and the meat cut beautifully. Delightful flavor for your taste buds. We were celebrating my friend's birthday and they provided us with a complimentary dessert and champagne for us! We couldn't believe it! We weren't going to order dessert because we were happily full, but taking a bite out of the dessert was delicious. We both loved it! It was a special night and this restaurant did not disappoint. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Penthouse bar with DJ...fabulous! Always satisfied! Great bartender- thank you Fran! Best views on the Wharf, sunsets ablaze tonight! Custom Drinks and entertainment!

Yelp
I thought the whole point of making a reservation is to not wait to be seated? Made a 5:45 reservation only to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was not pleasant. There's a frantic, almost panic like energy among the servers. And the food took forever. There's a 30-40 minute wait for each course meal. The food was alright but the service didn't justify a 20 percent service fee. I will not be coming back, and if you're reading this, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Save yourself the time, trouble, and heartache because you will pay above 400 dollars just to be disappointed.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! There were 5 of us and surprisingly we got 5 seats at the bar around 3pm. Our bartender was amazing and ticked all the boxes for service, drink recommendations and conversation, just wish I could remember his name . We only stayed for drinks but it was well worth it and never disappointed, the cocktail menu was on point!

Yelp
Limani is blissful in all ways. Such a pleasant addition to the DC Wharf waterfront. From the breathtaking views facing the water, to the light and airy aesthetic, the fantastic $55 brunch special, and the wonderfully concocted specialty cocktails. My Mediterranean Brunch Favs: 1. Chicken Kabobs 2. Avocado Toast 3. Potatoes 4. French Toast 5. Greek Omelet 6. Moussaka 7. Salmon Tartare Best part is many people do not know about this place and it is super laid back, not the day party crowd you would find over at La Vie. They have a wonderful rooftop as well and around 3pm they play good music. This place is definitely worth putting together a nice outfit for. If you can find street parking, this is one of the best brunch deals in SW!

Yelp
Great food, good service, and the cutest space! Highly recommend!! We tried Limani for dinner and it did not disappoint. We made reservations a couple hours before on a Friday night, no issues getting a table. We were seated on time on the upper level right at the start of sunset. Beautiful views of the wharf and the boats. We ordered drinks, I was a little disappointed they didn't have the Albariño but found an alternative. Cocktails and mocktails were really good. Do yourself a favor and order the ceviche and have an open mind. It's Mediterranean so the flavor profile is different but it was excellent. We also tried the squid, beet salad, salmon, scallops. Alot of great dishes and no complaints. This might become my new favorite spot for girls night and date night!

Yelp
BLUF: I had high hopes for this place but left pretty unsatisfied and thoroughly disappointed. Ambiance: Breathtaking, pristine, very modern with a prime location overlooking the waterfront. Views for days and very aesthetically pleasing; from the lobby area (where you have to wait for all your parties to arrive prior to being seated) to the second floor dining area, extending all to the sleek, stylish and roomy bathrooms. Service: Woof. Our server seemed extremely unhappy to be there (I hated working Sundays myself, so I could relate). But he didn't even bother to parade a friendly enough demeanor and towards the end was practically downright neglectful of our table. I constantly had to keep my eyes peeled to flag him down because parts of our order hadn't arrived and he just wasn't attentive. Food: Honestly, there were more misses than hits. I came for the bottomless brunch (which has a sneaky 20% service charge that isn't mentioned, so beware). And it wasn't exactly giving "bottomless." The portions were quite meager (I'm talking we ordered omelettes and got one...) I then went on to ask my brunch buddy if we were supposed to split it down the middle? The serving sizes were scant and it was hard to believe that what they brought out had been for a party of two rather than just a single customer. There were also no serving spoons? Which is kind of a necessity when you're bringing food out for the table. Hits: Green Salad, Avgofetes (the whipped cream was really delicious), Bougatsa, Patates Tiganites Misses: Roasted Leg of Lamb, Omelette (not bad but nothing special either- overly salty and drenched in olive oil?), Chicken Souvlaki (just dry..), Greek Waffles I definitely feel like they need to go back to the drawing board for most of their dishes because it has potential (and too good of a location to not be knocking it out of the park).

Yelp
Visited on a rainy Saturday which worked to my advantage as it wasn't as busy as I suppose a nice day. My only gripe about The Wharf is the parking... it's horrible in every way. The restaurant is beautiful with beautiful city views. The service was amazing and the suggestions made by our server were excellent. This was a rainy day ladies early dinner but was most certainly the best choice. We were so full from the apps which came in at a good pace from the kitchen we didn't get to any of the large plates. I will have to come back for another round. Pro-tip: don't skip dessert!

Yelp
Everything was 10/10 from the service, the ambiance, the view, the food. I chose this restaurant because it has a lot of fish options for my aunt. The fried zucchini appetizer was a hit and the tzatziki sauce complimented it well. We also shared the Greek salad. We all enjoyed our main course, the halibut, tuna and organic salmon. The baklava and the orange and vanilla cake were just the right amount of sweetness not too sweet.

Yelp
4.5 rating Ambiance: cute. Came on a Sunday for brunch and you can basically dress super cute or dressed down and feel fine. Service: 10/10. She was very attentive. Food: We had the bottomless tapas for brunch and almost everything we got was good. The server just brought out different foods and if there was something specific we wanted she would bring it out. Almost everything tasted good to me with the "little shares" section being my favorite.

Yelp
Travel with me to a Mediterranean experience overlooking the beautiful Wharf. Service: Upon arrival, my hostess was very unprofessional and not pleasant at all. After checking in with her, I sat for a few and upon my friend's arrival, she checked in with an actual pleasant hostess who then walked us to our seat. We probably should have seen her first before the short woman, long black hair, pinstripe pants, at the front around 11am yesterday. She needs refresher in customer service/hospitality. Waitress service: ILSY is AMAZING! I would more likely ask which shift and section she's working and request her again. The most kindest and attentive waitress there is and one whose care for customers reflects in her questions such as "are you enjoying your meal?" "do you enjoy ____, can I recommend something your might enjoy?" I mean, impeccable service! I felt seen, appreciated, and valued as a customer. Thanks ILSY. Drinks: It was an early start so I needed coffee. This place has some strong drip coffee, freshly made and a great caffeine start ($12 cup) They also offer almond milk so lactose free folks, we can enjoy! Brunch drink: I ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc ($16) crisp and complimenting for the brunch menu selection. I later enjoyed a few glasses of Prosecco! Brunch: Now, this is a bottomless brunch so I'll give you my menu selections in group ratings, starting from meh to love! MEH: Burnt, dry, or lacking flavor: - Keftedakia - Mini Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with shredded Kefalograviera cheese (burnt and dry) -Chicken Souvlaki - Grilled Chicken Breast served with Warm Pita, Onion, Tomato, Tzatziki (lacking flavor) - Roasted Leg of Lamb - Sliced Roasted Lamb served warm Pita, Onion, Tomato, Tzatziki (dry and lacking flavor) -Beef Souvlaki - Skewered Beef with Onion and Pepper (burnt) - Salmon Tartare - Fresno Chili, Shallots, Cilantro and Fresh Scallion (lacking flavor, avocado was way too whipped and needed a little salt to boast it) -Greek Waffles - Quince Preserve with Greek Honey (short on flavor and fluffiness) Safe to say that I immediately stopped eating these items and would not order them again. LOVE: Simply divine and must try - Greek Spreads ~ Tzatziki, Hummus, Ktipiti: the Ktipiti dip is all you need! It's SO delicious and has a little spice to it. - Halloumi - served grilled over a bed of grilled Tomato and fresh Mint: exotic flavoring and well grilled. - Shakshuka - Poached Eggs in a sauce of Tomato, Chili peppers and Onions, spiced, greek yogurt: this is SO delectable and well prepared. - Greek Omelette: Tomato, Feta Cheese, Spinach, Peppers, Garlic and Herbs: fluffy and filled with flavor. - Patates Tiganites - Potatoes cooked in our olive oil with mediterranian seasoning: they were crispy and a great to pair with the Shakshuka. -Avgofetes - Greek French Toast - Honey, Rosewater Whip Cream: STAR OF THE SHOW! These were simply DIVINE! Buttery soft, balanced sweetness, and great by itself or even as a dessert. - Baklava Pancakes - Whole-Wheat Buttermilk pancakes with cinnamon, pistachio, phyllo crumble and syrup: a MUST try! These were fluffy and flavorful! I could have ate more of this and the French toast. These were my FAVORITE dishes ordered and ones I hope are kept consistent in flavors so that they continue to shine. Not pictured but worth mentioning: Baklava - Classic Greek Dessert Bougatsa - Greek Pastry with creamy Custard filling GET them BOTH! They were SO divine! Overall, our bill came to $211 roughly and included our $55 brunch per person, sparkling bottled water, coffee, wines, and 20% service charge. Would I visit again? ABSOLUTELY! I'm trying to get my boyfriend onboard. However, I do hope that the items I mentioned as being burnt and lacking flavor are worked on because sadly I said to my friend "I've had better versions of these at a food truck" not great or what you'd expect from a fine dining experience. I'd like to give these items another try if they take heed to reviews. Additional photos added to the Yelp gallery Is it good for groups? ABSOLUTELY! Good for kids? Not small kids Romantic: Oh yes! Can you picture this place during the sunset? I would probably be lost in the delicious food and my partner's eyes lol Overall, I had a great experience here and will return again.

Yelp
This has been on my list for a while now. Mediterranean + Seafood is my perfect meal. Limani fell a bit short. If I could give half stars, I would give it a 3.5, but I cannot give it a 4. Service (3/5) - The staff was kind, but honestly a bit overly attentive. There was always someone at our table filling up our glasses when they were still 3/4 full and asking if they could clear plates that were far from empty. I felt that the staff did not match the elevated experience the restaurant was trying to achieve. Ambiance (4/5) - The restaurant itself was immaculate. The decor was beautiful, it was right on the water and the views were breathtaking. That said, I was a bit confused that they did not allow flash photography because it would "ruin the ambiance" yet there were people dining in Jean shorts and crop tops. If they want an elevated experience, they should maintain that across the entire restaurant. Food (4.5/5) - The food WAS delicious. We started with the octopus which was cooked to perfection, not chewy at all. It was well seasoned and flavorful, highly recommend. We then ordered the stuffed calamari which were to die for. Very unique and packed with flavor. Also highly recommend! For entrees, I got the Loup De Mar and my fiance got the lamb chops. Both dishes were very tasty and cooked wonderfully. All of that said, I found the menu to be over priced. I do not feel the prices justified the food + service we received. Overall, the restaurant itself is beautiful and in a stunning location. I would most likely not go back again for dinner, but could see myself returning to sit at the bar and get a cocktail.

Yelp
Horrible restaurant 0/10 do not recommend They ruined Valentine's Day. Very disorganized. No remorse or apology for bad service.

Yelp
I celebrated my 40th birthday at Limani with my friends and family. I couldn't have asked for a better evening! Kat (event coordinator) was very responsive from start to end and on the night of the event the hostess, servers, and chef were on top of everything. The food and drinks were exceptional and the Aegean Room was perfect for an intimate dinner!

Yelp
Terrible service. Just awful - we had a reservation yet still had to wait over an hour. No apology or trying to make it better for us. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. I wouldn't come back

Chell H.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. This restaurant is going to be a good spot to visit during the warmer weather days because it's on the waterfront. Everything we ordered was pretty tasty. The restaurant is really quiet though; would love to see some personality.

Yelp
Pretty good experience! Limani has been highly recommended and talked about in a few cities including Washington, DC so I had to try it. We started with the Saganaki as an appetizer and it was delicious but we had to request some honey to accompany it as that's how it was served to us in Greece. That made it even better! For our entree, we share the red snapper and the brussel sprouts. Both were absolutely delectable and the portion size was perfect for two or even three people. We didn't care to have any alcohol this day so we both went with the pomegranate grapefruit mocktail. It was do refreshing! It's in the perfect location, right on the water and has wonderful views. It's perfect for special and/or romantic occasions.

Yelp
This is one of the best upscale dining experiences that I experienced in 2023. It is in my top 3 dining experiences. This is a Greek restaurant which serves Mediterranean influenced seafood and and selections. My partner and I went here for a romantic dinner and the experience was top tier. Everything that we had was phenomenal, all the food was cooked to perfection, flavored beautifully and extremely fresh, especially the seafood. Im a champagne girlie lol so I just had a glass of Prosecco but my partner loved the Sangria he got. We had: Appetizers * CRAB CAKE - Maryland super lump crab meat served with gigantes. * Calamari * LEMON POTATOES - Extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice & herbs Entrees * LOBSTER PASTA * Lobster with linguini and tomato sauce * Cowboy Steak - 22 oz bone-in rib eye, dry aged 30 days Drinks * THEA'S SECRET SANGRIA - Tempranillo, Mextaxa 12, Honey, Orange, Spices * Prosecco The restaurant itself has 3 floors and it on the DC Wharf overlooking the Potomac River. It is very modern and upscale. They don't enforce a dress code but I recommend dressing business casual or showing up in your Sunday best. There are so many great photo opportunities as well in the space. The staff is super friendly, attentive and accommodating, they recommended great food and drink selections too. I definitely can't wait to go back and try their brunch menu and enjoy their dessert. In terms of parking there is a parking garage within walking distance from the restaurant but there is also some paid street parking available.

Yelp
I've been to Limani twice for brunch and had an amazing time so when my date booked us dinner reservation for valentine's day, I was so excited to go again. It was his first time so I spoke so highly of the place prior to, you can imagine my disappointment when the night was a complete disappointment. We arrived for our 9:30PM dinner reservation but weren't seated until 11:15PM (no accommodations offered while we waited, standing in their crowded entrance) and somehow, dinner from a pre-fixed menu of $165/person ended totaling almost $600. The food was good and our waitress Sandra was great but with all of the inconveniences, the entire experience ruined the spirit of Valentine's day

Ashley D.

Yelp
Went here with a girlfriend to catch up and loved everything about it! We tried the calamari, spanakopita and scallops, all of which were divine. We also had a few espresso martinis, the bomb. Our waitress was very nice and even though we overstayed our welcome by being there way after closing everyone was still so nice. The decor is also very chic and modern with pictures of the Greek islands all over. Very classy/sophisticated!

Yelp
We came for Saturday bottomless seafood brunch, and overall we had a wonderful experience with those expectations and the price point. The seafood was cooked to perfection (lobster and shrimp still had great bite, snow crab claws were nicely done) and the local oysters were fresh. The grilled salmon was made very well (crispy exterior, melt-in-your-mouth interior). The roast prime rib and leg of lamb was pretty good--not mind-blowing but not bad either. The service was great and topped off our brunch--the staff were very attentive and cleared our plates and platters quickly when they filled up with seafood shells.

Yelp
Visited Limani for the first time and enjoyed it. I'm not usually a huge fan of buffets, but was pleased to see lobster tails and crab claws as options. The servers were attentive and made sure the large wine glasses remained full. Very bright and airy with great views of the water. A little noisy, but nothing out of the ordinary.
