Lime Griffintown

Great place for their house curry chicken dish. I got that several times for takeout and it was certainly the star. I bit spicy, a bit rich, and quite filling. The coconut chicken soup isn't tangy like a tom kha, but it's good on a cold day - even better when you add the rice to it. The grilled chicken plate was alright, but I wish I had asked for some extra sauce. Overall yhey have great food here.

Even though the prices are a bit more expensive than the alternative options that serve the same type of food, the price is still reasonable and the portions are good. The food itself was flavourful and tasty. Some parts of the grilled chicken weren't as tender as I would have hoped for it to be but the overall was still great. Eating at the restaurant had was such a different experience. The waitress was really friendly and polite which made the dining experience even better. The food itself was flavorful and plentiful. The portions were so big for around 19$ a meal. I was a bit deceived by the pictures since the food wasn't as pretty but it was still tasty.

Great value for food! Portion sizes are huge, i almost wish they did half portions because it's too much for me. With that said, it tastes phenomenal and fresh. We had the vegan coconut milk soup. Lot's of fresh veggies, delicious tofu, sweet coconut rice and flavorful broth. The banana steam cake is really good too, the crunchy peanuts balance it all. I love the value!

Amazing place to eat very delicious food. I loved my clay pot salmon and my husband loved his tuna-salmon poke bowl. So fresh and tasty. Very friendly and professional staff. Great atmosphere ❤️

Food was good l but different from what I'm used to. The flavor in the pho was very light and almost tasted like a poultry based broth instead of beef but it was still good. The summer rolls/cold spring rolls are big in size but the shrimps were small so it was more vegetable than anything.

Great service and excellent food at an affordable price. The place was busy and I don't wonder one bit why. Strongly recommend also tasting the spring roll appetizer. It's so good!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness of the food. Portion size was very large. Staff was friendly. We didn’t have a reservation but that wasn’t a problem for them. I recommend the general Tao chicken.

On the pricier side but a nice quiet spot to get Vietnamese food. The serves are super nice and the portions are very filling.

Strongly recommended by my sister and she said it's a must try Vietnamese restaurant to try when in Montreal. The pho is full of flavor, very light and clear yet very tasty. The rom yum noodle is very yummy too!

First time at Lime and definitely won't be our last! Delicious Asian cuisine (fusion of Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese). The chicken curry was flavorful and delicious. The vermicelli bowl was a bit plain but still good. Can't go wrong with Saki ;) Service was quick and friendly. The staff are really nice and want to make sure you're taken care of. Parking is a bit tough so go early and definitely make a reservation! It can get pretty busy. The indoor decor is a bit outdated but the light music was nice. Definitely give Lime a try!

So we went back here 3 days after our first visit as it was raining a lot and with the rain comes craving for soup. Their spring rolls are perfect. They even cut them as we were sharing them. Thicker than any spring roll I've had before and the dipping sauce wasn't just a peanut sauce. For the main, I ordered the veggie curry which is now my favorite dish here. The sticky rice is really good here and their meat dishes are well grilled. The fried ice cream dessert wasn't greasy and was fresh and savory. Definitely not enough for 3 people just because it's too good to share. Maybe ok for 2 people. Favorite menu items so far: Fresh Spring rolls Chicken Tonkanese soup Veggie curry (Grilled meat is great here but I'm not a huge meat eater) Fried ice cream Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Cozy ambiance 5/5

I never tried the restaurant inside but I hope get in to eat there after the pandemic. I have ordered their food through UberEats many many times and each time I have been very satisfied as a customer. My favorite dish is the vegetarian gyozas. They are deep fried and super delicious; you don't even need to dip them in a sauce. Recently, I tried their grilled salmon salad. The size is very generous and it was really filling. Every part of the dish was delicious. Overall, I love the taste, and the portions of the meals that I have I tried so far. 100% recommended.

Really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant in the heart of a cute neighbourhood! Ordered the fresh roll with shrimp as an appetizer which isn't pictured but wanted to recommend as the portion was great, fresh and the sauce was nice and light. The main courses we ordered were the Poke Bowl with tempura shrimp, great price, tasty and filling. And the classic vermicelli grilled chicken bowl. Chicken was tasty and not dry. The spring roll in the bowl was nice and crispy too. Service was a little slow for not being a busy night but they seemed swamped with take out orders

Being on vacation is so wonderful because I get to play the tourist in my own city of Montreal. What a fabulous city it is. Asian cuisine was the delight. We were greeted with a smile and brought to our seats with the menu's. I was quite famished after a day of biking. I decided to order different appetizers, fried imperial rolls, chicken Gyazo with peanut sauce, fried breaded chicken wings with spicy mayo. Everything was good. I was told that they were open for 4 months but I have to say the service was a delight as well as the food. I'm sure as time goes on the food will improve a step up. After filling our tummies we decided to go to Richmond Marché for coffee and dessert which was a walk around the corner. Check that review also....

No reservation needed. Open on Mondays. And most importantly the food is amazingly tasty. Highly recommended.

Nice to see an Asian restaurant in Griffintown. Ordered the Pho soup for my wife and I. One of the best pho soups we've ever tasted. Soup broth was really good. Friendly service and clean. A definite gem in Griffintown.

I am used to big fan of Lime Griffintown since from beginning from meal to all the staffs and chef to nice boss. However, I am disappointed to express my worst experience and now it is the last time and may be told to all new customers, stay away from this restaurant. Since by the first wave Covid-19, the food was still keep the quantity and quality as well as the price for customer to enjoy the delicious, i still kept ordered food from Uber eats and also in-door for togo. Back there in two months, the quality is went down even the prices is raised ( of course for the Covid survival purpose but is ridiculous increase on Uber Eats ). They put extra fee is so high like 4 for beef and 3 for grill chicken. In last month, I still came back Lime Griffintown to order indoor for togo but the thing was surprised me which is all the old staff have been changed and I did not see the chef, I ordered the Salmon and Tuna Poke Bowl and It was just terribly a failure starting from the freshness of the GREY Tuna and I threw the poke away seeing that the strange smell is from the fish and sauce, the quantity of the poke is poor but saving me is the grill vermicelli and the stir-fried egg noodle was still tasty and flavour full. I thought may be the new staff is not well-trained so I did not take the photo to complain it. BUT NOW, this time I was so pissed off about my Uber Eats order yesterday Wednesday Oct 14 for my lunch, the price they charged on Uber now for 2 grill plat and stir-fried noodle with extra on the grill was almost 40. And Do you see what I got ? Lime Griffintown now is a joke for new and as well as returning customer, Although Ordered the grill Rice with Pork, Extra Chicken 3.50 and Beef 4.00, I got short cut and poorly the beef and was missing a piece of grilled chicken. The Grilled meat is now too strong cause of Lemongrass adding with unsalted Marinate Sauce, the beef was white and the pork was grilled on side and one side was cold and bland. Next to that is the Stir-fried Egg noodle, I do not need to say much, just look at the picture we can see the noodle was fried ugly and smell burned oil. In addition, the chicken was pink which is considered as Raw Food serving, the Vegetables is less in ever we see for 20 Cad order, the sauce was Watery, not fruity sweet taste and not aroma mouth-flavour, now is all msg and feel only Salt. SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY TO THAT ORDER. THE PICTURE BELOW IS FOR PROVING WHAT I SAID. TOTALLY TERRIBLE AND DISAPPOINTED for a NEW asian restaurant in Griffintown. WILL Lime is changed to be better or now be more and more dissatisfied staking up and finally close as same as many the Unsuccessful Asian Restaurants of the Griffintown before ?

This is probably the best thing that has happened to Griffintown. This restaurant is not only absolutely delicious, but very well priced, very well ran, extremely clean, and overall a wonderful dining experience. I am thankful to my boyfriend for bringing me there twice a week for the last 2 months or so lol The imperial rolls are probably the best in Canada. The chicken curry is mind blowing. The ice tea is out of this world. Freaking ice tea I'm telling you. Please do yourselves a favour and try this place out. Come back and agree with me.

We were cold and hungry when we stopped at Lime! First time there and were not disappointed. Left warm and full after a hot soup followed by a big helping of noodles, beef salad. The Jasmine tea was also a nice addition on such a cold day. Simple deco. Will be back!

Lime is a must for anyone living in Griffintown. Everything in the menu is good (at least everything I have tried). Gyozas, rolls, Vietnamese grill, poke bowls, noodles, you name it, everything is good. And they're experts at takeout so you cannot go wrong!

Excellent Vietnamese food, beautifully presented, reasonably priced, in a pretty setting with good service. Try the chicken pho! A wonderful find in a section of Griffintown where the restaurants tend to be expensive.
