Great accessibility awareness
Delicious food
Fantastic facilities for groups
I help plan events for Future Choices, and we needed a spot for a group lunch while we were attending an event at the harbour, so I stumbled upon this fabulous café and corporate space.
I've got some experience in organising activities for people with accessibility needs, and since I'm a wheelchair user myself, I wanted to check out how accessible the place really was without revealing my reason for being there.
From the moment I rolled in, the staff were accommodating regarding accessibility.
They made sure I knew where everything was, which was honestly amazing.
Once I explained what I needed, they connected me with this fantastic person named Trish Cooks. She was super professional and genuinely cared about our accessibility requirements. It felt really heartwarming.
They offered us a great buffet menu for over 30 people, packed with a wide variety of sandwiches, soups, juices, teas, coffees, and delicious little treats—all at a great price!
The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our lunch with as little stress as possible on the day we visited.
Even though we had arranged for the bus's access since there was a big event happening, the security staff in that area were a bit awkward.
But Trish jumped right in and handled it like a pro, which took the weight off my shoulders.
They also made sure our wheelchair-accessible minibuses could get as close to the building as possible, so there was minimal walking for our members.
The food was seriously fantastic—everything was tasty, and there was an excellent selection for everyone.
One of our members raved about the delicious wraps and ate two bowls of soup because they were that good.
I definitely recommend this place for a buffet lunch if you're planning a corporate, business, or private event in Aberdeen.
