Went here because I was curious since I drive everyday past it to go to work… instant regret. I bought Mexican corn, a chicken quesadilla, quesabirrias tacos and al pastor burrito with my bill totaling $60 dollars (which is OUTRAGEOUS) the food was not great.. my burrito was filled with rice and beans and barely any meat, quesabirrias were bland and the rest wasn’t not impressive at all. Sadly a waste of $60 that I could’ve used to make better tacos at home.

The birria taco quesadillas were absolutely delicious. I came here just for that and it didn’t disappoint. Looking forward to trying more things on the menu. The staff was also super friendly and you can tell they care about the food and their customers. Highly recommend.

Amazing tacos! I ordered the birria tacos which comes with onion, cilantro, cheese, lettuce, and salsa. I also ordered the churros and chips and salsa. Delicious flavor all around. The breakfast burritos at this place are huge! I'm so happy that this place is so local - best tacos in Thornton!

Lovely atmosphere with extremely welcoming service. I tried the quesabirria tacos with spicy salsa and the consume. I’m not the biggest fan of birria but these were incredible. Very generously loaded with meat, 2 tortillas per taco and fantastically cheesy! with the consume and salsa there was so much flavor and I only regret not coming sooner. I would love to see takeaway containers made from paper or something bio friendly but every other criteria was exceeded! Trying the canasta tacos with flautas next time for sure

We stumbled upon this place while looking for some lunch. The food was delicious, prepared quickly and served fast too. The ladies working were friendly and even came to the table to talk with us. Loved the environment and the food. I’m happy to pay $15.50 for a bowl of pozole from here every time! Delicious!!

We found our birria place in CO. I'm from South Texas and my husband is from Mexico City. It's hard to find good Mexican food in Colorado. This place is good. Everything was great but birria was our favorite. We live closeby so will be back for sure.

Delicious quesabirrias with broth. Have not found any place as good as these. Location recently expanded dine in space. Go to at least once every 2-3 weeks, 10/10 recommend.

Everything was really good. The food was delicious and clean, the place is very clean and nicely decorated. What I liked the most about the experience was Antonia's and Josefina's service, since we came into the place the greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcome. They explained the menu in detail and checked back on us all the time to make sure that we were satisfied. It felt like being in your family's home 100% recommended.

It was ok but I think I will continue to explore other options. Food just wasn't what I was expecting given the reviews.

The food was AMAZING! I need the recipe for the shredded chicken they used in the enchiladas! The tacos were excellent followed my instructions about no cilantro and no onion. Very cute atmosphere, there was a dog sitting outside, I don't doubt he was there for the food aswell. The women who took our order was charming, spoke very good English and helped us decide on food overall 10/10 will 100000% be revisiting.

Service was excellent. The steak in quesadilla and tacos lacked flavored. I had high expectations but left confused because the rating was soo good! Birria tacos could have been cooked more with love. Didnt feel it! Didn't taste it.

First time here, we came because it sounded good and the reviews were excellent and it did not disappoint. The ladies were all friendly and the food was amazing. I tried the Birria Taco Quesadilla and it was perfect. I loved the music and the drink options. Would highly recommend trying this place and I can't wait to return.

I had the tacos! Straight fire the mango margarita had real chunks of mango in it. Ya this is my new taco joint! If your looking for it, it's towards the middle of the building you can see the Jalisco sign that is on the inside from the sidewalk.

When you walk in you are greeted from behind the counter. It's an industrial look, reclaimed wood, concrete and a chilly temperature. I came to try the birria quesatacos with consomé. Add cilantro, onions and a medium salsa. Oh yeah! Don't forget a cold beverage. I have a seat next to the giant windows and watch the traffic go by. Before I know it, I'm greeted by a friendly Hispanic woman. She reminds me of the many kitchens of family members of mine. It feels like you've stopped into an aunt's house for a quick lunch. The first bite needs to be dipped into the consumé. When the juices run onto your lips the warm broth greets your palate. It's rich in flavor and light in consistency. The cheese and meat come afterwards and give the bite a substantial weight. I fell in love. The order of 3 tacos was more than enough for me. I took one home. I have never tried birria tacos before and I have tried other places since. Nobody's tacos have come close so far. I am going here for the my quesotacos and they also have great menudo too. You will not be disappointed.

This place is AMAZING. Best tacos in Thornton! I tried the Birria tacos, which comes with onion, cilantro, cheese, and lettuce. Also, they include this delicious red and green salsa. I usually work while eating, but once I took that first bite of taco, I knew I needed an actual lunch break because these tacos require total focus. They are that delicious. Also, make sure to order the churros. They are mouthwatering! I also got a breakfast burrito for tomorrow, but it's huge so you definitely get your money's worth. I also ordered chips and salsa, which has great flavor. Fantastic little restaurant!

My partner and I were craving tacos. We've driven by this little hole in the wall taqueria and decided to pick up dinner. He got tacos Al pastor and I got the birria quesadilla tacos. Chips and salsa, horchata and a churro to split. The woman on the phone was so kind and sweet. Food was ready in 15 minutes, and while a bit spendy for tacos, we both thought it was worth the price. They offer mild, medium and spicy and I felt like they stay true to spice level. I had medium and my partner had hot, which was right on the line of "too hot" for me, but perfect for spicy lovers. Chips were thick and crunchy, salsa delicious. Loved their green salsa but the highlight was the birria quesadilla tacos. Crispy, cheesy, plenty of meat. The consume was ‍. Horchata was sweet and flavorful, and the churro was nice and crispy and a great end to the meal. 10/10 will definitely order again soon!

Holy nuclear salsa heaven! Popped in for carry out while in Denver running from doctor to doctor. I use Yelp! to help me find exactly this kind of place. A hole in the wall, strip mall oasis with authentic Mexican food. I had the tacos al pastor and mi madre had the tacos with the consommé. All food is legit. Sooo delicious! We also got some of the best horchata I've ever had and a fresh juice from carrots and oranges. In addition to the excellent food, the service is great and the women are as charming as can be. 100% recommended and I hope to make it back again soon!

Started coming out to this part of town for my daughters cheer practice and found this place in a strip mall on 88th. The place is clean and will kept up. The two lady's in side where friendly and the food was great I got the Birria tacos and they didn't disappoint if your out here check them out

This place is more expensive than the regular taco places BUT in this case you get what you pay for. We usually get birria tacos with or without cheese and consumme- it hits the spit every time! The lady who works there is also very nice.

Do you like authentic Jalisco style Mexican food made from the heart? Look no further than Limon y Sal! Anna makes everything daily and trust me when I say, it's ALL GOOD!! I had the Birria queso tacos which come filled with yummy meat and lots of cheesy goodness and a giant bowl of consommé for dipping. I also had to try the posole as I love it and Anna said it's one of her best sellers. I can see why!! She will add in cabbage or lettuce whichever you prefer. My hubby had the al pastor burrito. He said it was delicious and huge! He loves spicy and she offered up some of her extra spicy salsa for him and he devoured it. She also offers a type of taco that you might not be familiar with due to its regional specialty, tacos de canasta! These little tacos were filled with a mixture of potatoes and chorizo. They come with a pickled carrot that you eat before you take a bite and cabbage that you put inside the taco. Such interesting flavors!! I can't wait to go back and check out more of the menu. She offers food to go, but I would eat in as there is a small but decent sized dining area. This will allow you to have the full experience of Anna's hospitality.

The best posole I've had in Colorado and the woman who owns the place is a gem. I make a point to go there anytime I'm even remotely in the area.

Saw this on yelp and thought I'd give it a try. The owner took our order personally and helped prepare my meal. I had the quesadilla and churros. Everything was incredible! I finished every bite even though I was so full haha. Everything was under 10$ will definitely be coming back here for more!

Literally my favorite place for tacos! I would eat here everyday if I could. Not only is the food MOUTH WATER GOOD but the owner is the sweetest. She is the heart and soul here and is the main reason I keep coming.

Food was delicious. Made to order served HOT and the service is excellent. We got two orders of birria tacos and they were so good both the mild and hot salsa did not disappoint and we got a bowl of birria to go and it was also amazing the beans tasted so good and the rice as well.

Best tacos de canasta. Friendly staff. Very tiny place but I usually order to go. Also tried the Chile relleno burrito and I recommend it. Haven't tried anything I didn't like.

Best tacos ever! Owner told us she cooked the taco meat for 15 hours for birrira tacos. I hardly ever post reviews on Yelp, good or bad, but loved the food and service here.

A must try!!! We stopped in and the owner greeted us immediately and explained the menu in detail. We ordered the el pastor gorditas- amazing!! Also had the pazole and it was delicious!! To top it off we got the homemade horchata to drink and churros for dessert! We were so thankful we stopped in and found a new favorite spot! It is a true hidden gem! Love this place. The owners are in an open kitchen cooking up whatever you order on the fly. The place smells amazing, it's super clean and hidden in a strip mall. I've had a hard time finding taquerias like back home in California but this place definitely comes close. . The flavor of the Al Pastor is off the hook.

I love this place!! So then it goes highly recommended for many reasons. First of all, Ana (founder), takes complete pride in her creations! She is always smiling. No doubt it is contagious because, seemingly, I leave smiling too. Even in my not so happy days! Secondly, the taste of the well put together burritos is one that I find myself craving so frequent visits are a must! And the feel of belonging when I walk through the door reminds me of the "just like home" feeling!!

What a great find. If you are in the area this is a must try. The place has a peaceful environment with a small eating area that is tastefully decorated. The service was great and the food was excellent. The burritos are perfectly balanced with the right amount of meat, cheese, potato, etc ratio. I will definitely be back.

Not nearly as busy as it should be. Not the cheapest In the area but definitely one of the best. Feels like home-made and after several visits I've not been disappointed in the food. Love the layout with the big open kitchen. They do a quality job and aren't afraid to let you see what goes on in the kitchen. The owner is super helpful explaining options and sharing samples of their seasoned meats.

Very cool little place with a smaller menu but everything seems pretty well done/tasty. I ordered the chicken tacos and they definitely tasted authentic without being greasy. Horchata was good as well. Probably will be back if I in the neighborhood, and it's a good place to consider whenever you in the mood for a quick bite.
