The food was very delicious. There were many people. When we were waiting for a table, the receptionist made a wrong call and missed us! We were asked to wait a little longer, but we were quickly seated.

First time to this restaurant. The food was great. The customer service was amazing game with some of my friends. Can we ordered the flat iron calamari and the ceviche entree. Everything was made to order.

The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is upbeat and crowded. We ordered the ceviche trios, rib eyes steak, seafood paella and the signature rotisserie chicken dishes. The food is amazing except the rotisserie chicken. It’s a bit dry and no flavor. The margaritas is great too. It’s a decent size without a lot of ice. Our waiter is Wilfredo. He is awesome.

We dined in recently and it was our second time so decided to leave a review, as the experience was very great again. Over all the menu is seafood forward so if you’re a ceviche or shellfish fan you’ll be excited. We opted for Rico ceviche 🌶️ , the pork belly and mixed empanadas for apps. Every item was delicious and well portioned. My favorite was the ceviche and cheese empanada. We split a 1/4 chicken white meat as the apps were pretty filling. The chicken and fries came out hot, crispy and chicken had a nice blackened grilled skin. Drink menu changes regularly but we both opted for something different so we could taste test each other’s. Overall great place.

Google
This place is delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. The presentation was beautiful, with colorful vegetables arranged artfully on each plate. Also these are some of the best drinks in Walnut Creek .The service was impeccable, with our servers being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.10/10

Google
My family and I love Limon!! One of the few Peruvian restaurants in the bay with a nice atmosphere and extensive menu. As a family of four we always order one whole pollo la brasa with two sides of fries, truffle mac and cheese, and the ceviche trio. We also ordered some chicha which was so delicious, we had a kind server named Willfredo who took our ordered right away and our food was presented to us in less than 10 minutes. My only concern with the restaurant is that it can feel cramp at times with the set up but the food and service make up for it 🤩

Google
The food was exceptional! Will definitely return. Our waitress was a little rude. My friend is pregnant and asked about some mocktails. She assumed we should know the ingredients. She continued to answer other questions similar. Made me a little uncomfortable and feeling as though I don't belong there as this is a wealthy area. Hopefully, my next visit, the service is better!

Google
I ordered the beef and chicken Empanadas. The dough tasted terrible, and they did not seal the dough before they put it in the deep fryer. The meat in the Empanadas was not tasty. The french fries were soggy. The yuca was not crunchy. What terrible cooks they have at the restaurant. The food was overpriced. I will not return. Brother's Chicken in Concord has much better Pervian food and at a lower cost.

Yelp
Had the best dinner for my sister's birthday, we enjoyed the chicharon de pollo y un Lomo saltado..Wilfredo was the best waiter!

Yelp
My husband and I already love the food and drinks, but today we're celebrating a special occasion and Wilfredo made our lunch time sooo happy!! His recommendations were fantastic and made this lunch even better than we thought it would be. Gracias Wilfredo, we hope to see you again next time we're back!

Yelp
We added our name to the waitlist and waited around 25 minutes. The ambiance was really nice ; we sat outside and they had heaters, so we were perfectly comfortable. The staff was super friendly and our waitress kept checking in to make sure everything was good, which I really appreciated. Our food came out pretty fast too, about 10-20 minutes. The drinks were so good .I got the Diablito and my boyfriend got the mule, both were strong and flavorful. And the Lomo Saltado... amazing. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious. Loved it here Would definitely come back.

Yelp
Back for more, great food! Get some! We ordered: La Podersa with chicken (3 Stars) We order white meat chicken with the salad, it came bone in, skin on chicken. For a salad dish, they should really take off the skin and bones and cut into cubes. I think most people ordering a salad with meat, want to eat it already chopped up. They just place 1/4 White meat rotisserie chicken on the plate. The salad was huge, enough for 4 people, way to much for a personal entree. Chanchito a La Diabla (4 Stars) A beautiful dish, perfectly cooked pork belly, soft inside, crispy outside. Great sauce too! Veggie Empanada (5 Stars) Mushroom and cheese wrapped in fried dough, so good! Half Chicken Pollo a La Brasa (4 Stars) Perfectly cooked and season chicken, really good Side of Veggie Anticuchero (3 Stars) Zucchini and onion stir fry with chili seasoning. I'll try the other veggie side dish next time. Arnold Palmer (4 stars) Until next time... Next time try: Grilled shrimp

Yelp
I have been coming to this location for years, and yesterday, I received the best service at the bar with Alejandro and the assistant, who was extremely efficient with the food and service. The pollo cane comes within 5 mins and never disappoints. Super crispy served with fries, and get the green hot sauce. Alejandro was professional, kind, prompt, and super attentive, he made my day! I will come more often now and eat at the bar! Can't beat the service.

Yelp
I had a very nice experience at Limon Walnut Creek. The place feels warm and welcoming, and the food was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was delicious. You can tell they use good ingredients and put care into how everything is made. A big shout out to Niuosha for her amazing service. She was kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations that made the whole visit even better. You can tell Niuosha cares about her guests.

Yelp
Limon is a nice clean restaurant right on Locust Street in downtown Walnut Creek. We went here for a birthday lunch with 8 guests. We had a reservation and we got seated right away. Initially the service was good but they did kind of forget about us toward the end. The food was overall very good. The whole chicken was tender and well seasoned. The pork belly chaifu was very good but was served with an overwhelming amount of rice which seemed a bit too salty. All of the portions were pretty generous so consider that when ordering. The yucca fries were excellent but the sweet potato fries were a tad over salted. Overall it was a good experience but the service was a bit lackluster.

Yelp
This review is overdue. I came here on Saturday, November 8th at 5pm. The restaurant was pretty busy. I came with my boyfriend and baby. I had my baby in the stroller sleeping and tried to keep the stroller out of everyone's way. My boyfriend had added us onto the waitlist. As we were waiting for a table, the host which was an older lady asked us to wait outside. I was worried my baby was going to get cold and sick but I complied with her request anyways. Luckily, he had a jacket on and blanket on top of him. There was another family waiting inside with their baby and she did not ask them to wait outside. My baby woke up so we picked him up from the stroller and put a beanie on him. When my boyfriend went inside with the baby to ask for an update on the table, the same host who asked us to wait outside, randomly told him he can wait inside. (She must have realized how bad it was to have a baby wait outside in the cold.) He told her he was going to wait outside since that's what she asked us to do earlier. Not sure why she asked us to wait outside in the first place if she was going to change her mind. There's also no designated waiting area inside nor outside the restaurant either. She needs to work on her cognitive skills and customer service. We finally got seated and had the best server ever. Our server, Miguel, made our experience here better. He was super friendly, went over the menu, and explained the specials for the day which was a ribeye. The food and drinks here were all delicious. Not sure if I want to come back to this location though.

Yelp
Was highly recommended to try Limon here in WC. Not my first time having Peruvian food, which I love, so was excited for this one! Really cute space, dimly lit and a great spot for couples and groups. They have an open kitchen and a TV for viewing pleasure. Ordered the Ceviche Limon and Taro Chips to start, a Chicha Morada and Lomo Saltado. Loved the Chicha Morada, super refreshing and comfortingly warm due to the cinnamon spice. The Ceviche Limon came with fried calamari and red snapper, squid and shrimp. The ceviche was okay, the salsa and garnish were great additions but didn't find the seafood to be too fresh and the calamari was very fishy smelling. I didn't have stomach issues, but just some things to note. I didn't end up eating the rest of the fried calamari. Also they charge $4 for taro chips. Portion is also small for it being $30. Lomo Saltado is a must order of course, thought it was just okay here. The meat was tough and dry, the stir fry sauce and fries were good. Not the best Lomo Saltado I've had. Service was friendly and food came out quick. Just felt like the food quality was just not there, which is unfortunate since these items are Peruvian signature dishes. Not sure if it's just this location or an off day.

Yelp
This is probably my third or fourth time here, and I haven't been disappointed yet. A brought another friend along today and she cannot stop talking about the spring mix salad with the added chicken. She wanted something lite, but good. The salad did not disappoint. Of course I added more to my menu besides the salad. I had to have the spicy fish ceviche, which is always fresh and so very good. Our server was very sweet and checked on us just enough. We went around 1:30pm, the in between lunch crowd which was perfect timing. I will say I intended to take at least one photo, but once my fork hit the first bite of the salad, it was a wrap. Next time for sure. I will be back very soon.

Yelp
The food is fantastic! I love the classic ceviche, and the service is excellent! My server, Wilfredo, enhanced the dining experience. He recommended the Passion fruit margarita, and it did not disappoint. I will be back for another margarita and to try other dishes

Yelp
My fiancé and I were so excited to try Limon for a special pre-Thanksgiving/9-year anniversary lunch. The dining room ambiance was great, and we couldn't stop raving about the food. The Cucumber Margarita was refreshing, and the appetizers specifically the Oysters with Taro Chips were phenomenal. Our entrees, the Truffle Mac n Cheese, Yuca Fries, and Durado De Marisco, were all top-tier; seriously, the kitchen staff here deserves five stars. We were equally impressed with the hustle and excellent etiquette of the bus boy, who delivered our dishes with grace and speed. He was the highlight of the service! However, our server, Niuosha, was unfortunately the opposite. She seemed far more interested in chatting with the female bartender than attending to our table. The real issue, and the reason for the two-star review, came after we paid. Upon reviewing the itemized receipt, I noticed I was charged $22 for my cucumber margarita. I quickly realized I had been up charged for Don Julio when I ordered the Cucumber Margarita $15. When I flagged the discrepancy to Niuosha, her response was shocking, she insisted that the premium Don Julio was "a better deal" than the tequila silver. This is clearly false, as the receipt shows a definite price increase. I feel scammed and intentionally charged for a premium liquor I neither requested nor authorized. It's a horrible feeling to have a celebratory moment ended with such a dishonest interaction. The food is absolutely deserving of a trip, but management seriously needs to look into the deceptive practices the server (Niuosha) regarding drink orders and pricing. I recommend the kitchen, but be extremely careful about what the servers are charging. We are hoping management will look into this and reach out to make it right.

Yelp
Everything was fresh and flavorful. We got the lomo saltado and trio grande ceviche which comes with 3 servings of ceviche. You order the chips with it, they don't come with the $38 plate. Would I casually pay over $40 for ceviche and chips for a casual lunch? Not usually. I have had great Peruvian food for a lot less just not in places with the same finesse. You're paying for an experience here: trendy spot, downtown location, specialty food, and great plating presentation. Good spot for a special occasion. Don't come too hungry and expect not to pay extra for it lol

Yelp
Our party of 6 was seated promptly at our reservation time and we decided to sit outside. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. We started with the appetizer, fiesta platter, she suggested and it was great. The pisco sour was a nice touch also. We ordered 3 main dishes to share, chicken, beef, and the mahi mahi. These selections worked out perfectly for us. We will most definitely be back

Yelp
The ambiance in the restaurant is fantastic, very lively and upbeat feeling. Additionally, the server took time to explain the menu and consistently checked on us throughout our meal. I had the pollo a la brasa with yucca on the side and it was juicy, well flavored, and such a delicious meal. A little bit on the salty side just for my personal taste but didn't stop me from fully enjoying the meal. Would highly recommend stopping here for a meal, you can find something that will suit your needs.

Yelp
Food 5/5 The food we've tried so far has been incredibly flavorful! On this visit, we ordered the Ceviche Pescado Clásico and Lomo Saltado, both were a solid 5/5 in terms of taste. We especially loved the lemon, citrusy notes in the ceviche. We'd definitely come back just for the food! Customer Service 3/5 Unfortunately, during our visit, we were not fully satisfied with the customer service. While some staff members were friendly, the overall experience felt a bit unorganized. We had to remind the staff about our order, and service was somewhat inconsistent. At one point, plates were cleared so abruptly that one was accidentally spilled on our table, almost splashing onto us. Ambience 4/5 The place itself has a nice look and stays true to its theme. The ambience features dim lighting, which adds to the atmosphere, but the space does feel a bit cramped. During our visit, we were seated right by the exit, which wasn't the most comfortable spot, but we still enjoyed the vibe ! Cleanliness 5/5 It was pretty clean Wait Time 4/5 We were seated pretty quickly, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The only thing that took a little longer was when we asked the waiter for some extras, but overall, the service was okay. Cost 4/5 The prices are a bit on the higher side, just something to keep in mind. But the quality of the food really makes it worth it!

Yelp
Came across this area on our way to Napa valley and we were pleasantly surprised! Ambiance is very nice but can get very loud inside, would recommend outdoor seating if that's available. Our server was entertaining and helped us with ordering and explaining our food, much appreciated. We ordered: - Ceviche trio: SO GOOD. We got the mixed seafood option, every fish and shrimp was so fresh. Taro chips are also really great, but an added $4. Loved the variety of 3 sauces that the ceviche came in, highly recommend. The leche de tigre is mind blowing. - Lomo saltado: the seasoning is very nice for this. Beef was a little overcooked for my liking and the fries are not too special. A very filling meal that comes with a side of really nicely done rice. - Half chicken: one of our favorite dishes. Even the breast meat was cooked very nicely and it was slightly seasoned with a dry cumin/mixed seasoning. Comes with a side of salad and the same french fries. Also a fan of the amarillo yellow sauce that comes with it. - camarones: the fried shrimp is marinated with a sweet creamy sauce. We aren't a fan of sweet flavors in general but can see this being a popular dish. - seco de costillas: short rib slid off the bone, super tender. Really liked the savory marinade on this and the rice and beans are nicely done as well.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this spot out for years and finally did for early Mother's Day. We made reservation for party of 4 for a Saturday since it gets pretty busy. Located at the heart of Walnut Creek near all the shops and restaurants. Plenty of street parking and also parking building around. We we're seated right when we arrived. Our server greeted us and offered drinks pretty quickly. We ordered a pitcher of cucmber margarita enough for 3 adults. For starters we tried thier brussel sprouts and pork belly both were so yummy. For our main dishes my son and I had Lomo Saltodo this was delcious might be on a saltier side but I still loved it. My other son had Seco de Costillas and he loved it,he did say he wished there was a bit more. My husband had Picante de mariscos and he enjoyed it,pretty big serving. Over all we liked the food. Ambiance was nice and service was great and quick service.

Yelp
Such a lively experience we had visiting for dinner! This restaurant is great for booking an evening with a larger group (we went with a party of 7.) There are two levels for dining with the option of outdoors also. We were on the upper deck and ordered several of the shareable platters. We ordered the Limon ceviche, brasa platter, fiesta platter, and fiesta de mariscos. Perfect sharing portions that provide the opportunity to try multiple items on the menu such as the steak, chicken, pork and fish/lobster options. We were all full at the end of our meal with my favorite being the shellfish on the seafood platter. The service is attentive and checks on your party frequently, and if you go for a birthday party, the staff can bring a candle to sing and celebrate with you.

Yelp
I have heard great things about this restaurant, and decided to meet a friend there for lunch. I walked into the restaurant and was leaning towards eating outside...until I smelled the delicious food in the restaurant. I was planning to eat lunch, but my friend and I ate two LARGE delicious appetizers and we were stuffed. The Ceviche and the beef enchiladas with fried chicken and plantains were amazing. The craft cocktails are reason alone to try this place! One of the best parts of our experience was our waiter Wilfredo. Attention to detail, courteous and pleasant demeanor was excellent. If you were in Walnut Creek, and want to try an excellent restaurant, This is the place for you to go.

Yelp
An authentic spot in downtown Walnut Creek with a unique and diverse menu. The sangria pitcher is a must--huge, delicious, and easily serves six (maybe more). The snapper in the ceviche rocoto was a standout, fresh and flavorful. The pork belly bites, however, lacked seasoning and were disappointingly tough. We tried the chicken skewers based on our server's recommendation but found them underwhelming. Overall, a cool spot with some hits and misses. Would return for the ceviche and sangria!

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go out for a little ladies night! I've tried so many different types of plates here and they're all amazing! Service is always friendly and attentive.

Yelp
I live in South Bay and would regularly drive to Willow Glen for meals at Limón. The crispy pork chaufa was delicious. It hit all the right notes. And I literally used the chaufa to swipe up the leftover sauce from the brussel sprouts. The team onsite was friendly and very attentive. They also were very kind natured when our dog kept laying in the middle of their path: we're sorry! Enjoyed the lively feel both inside and outside the restaurant and needed to restrain myself from dancing when I went to the restroom.

Yelp
Brought our friends for dinner since they had not been here and they enjoyed it. They staff and our server were very friendly and was very attentive. The empanadas are amazing and we tried different entrees that were delicious. The restaurant is very lively, trendy and a nice place to spend time with family and friends.

Yelp
Came here on Valentine's Day and it was packed! The atmosphere is cool but it's super crowded when all the tables and bar are full. Got to try their chicharron de pollo con yucca(crispy fried chicken thigh meat) and it was a soooo good 10/10. Also had their short rib plate and it was good too 8/10. My flank steak was just okay 5/10 (it was very bland and not cooked to order as requested (medium well). Also had some virgin drink, it looked pretty but tasted too floral for my liking. Overall a solid 3.75 stars, not bad for my first time. Definitely will be back for the chicharron de pollo. (See pics for reference).

Yelp
I stopped by without a reservation for a last minute dinner with my sister and cousin after an evening out in the area. Luckily we were able to be seated immediately, even though they were pretty busy. Niuosha was our server. She seemed nice and willing to answer questions about the menu as we were ordering. But then it seemed like we barely saw her through the night. They forgot to bring out our empanadas and needed to be reminded since the kitchen was closing soon. The food overall was tasty and flavorful. I enjoyed the ceviche limón and the lomo saltado. There were a few fatty pieces, but overall it was very juicy and tender. My sister enjoyed her mahi mahi. On our way out, I said goodnight to our server and she completely ignored me. I found it to be extremely rude and distasteful. Definitely won't be returning because of it.

Yelp
I came here for dinner with my sister and cousin in love. We did not have reservations but were seated almost immediately. The ambiance was pretty lively and not too rowdy. I ordered the following: Truffle mushroom empanadas- 9/10 Wild caught Peruvian Mahi Mahi- 9/10 Everything tasted fresh, hot, and flavorful.

Yelp
Came here for our 2 year anniversary and the experience was amazing! The place itself was beautiful with a full bar and open kitchen. Our server, Roberto, was kind and attentative; service was fast and delightful. The food was spectacular. We started with the Fiesta and Ceviche platters, and shared the Lomo Saltado. The flavors were a joy to explore. And we finished with the Tres Leches dessert. We will definitely come back to share with friends and family.

Yelp
We visited Limon while passing through Walnut Creek, craving something light and refreshing--and what better than a delicious Peruvian ceviche? My boyfriend and I ordered two plates to share: he got the Trio Ganador, which included three different styles of ceviche with shrimp, fish, and calamari, while I chose the grilled Pulpo (octopus). I also ordered El Tropical to drink, which was perfectly refreshing and absolutely delicious. The food overall was excellent--you can really tell they use fresh seafood, and the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced. The restaurant itself has a modern, stylish vibe and everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The service was decent but left some room for improvement. We were seated right away and the host was lovely, but our server was on break when we arrived, so someone else took our order and let us know she wasn't our main server. After that, though, no one really checked in on us, and when the ceviche was served, they didn't explain which was which--which was a bit disappointing since we had a favorite, but couldn't figure out which one it was. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Limon for a fresh, flavorful meal--especially if you're a fan of ceviche. Just a bit more attention to service would make the experience even better.

Yelp
I made a reservation online for a weeknight, just to be safe. Y'all, it was a packed house! And folks were waiting around. We were seated right away. Unfortunately it was at the table closest to the door so every time the door opened, we got the cold breeze. I wish they could put like a curtain or drape there or just not offer that table all together. Also tons of food traffic behind us. Now that I know this, I'll definitely make a note in the reservation next time to not be seated there. Food: delicious. The ceviche trio was fresh. A bit surprised it didn't include chips so we got an order of those. Lomo saltado was cooked medium, I was a bit hesitant bc I like my beef medium rare but medium was good and meat was still juicy. Mine had more sauce than someone else at our table so a bit of inconsistency there for the same dish. My mango lemonade, I didn't get too much lemonade flavor and it was more like a mango juice, and a bit too sweet. The pescado entero (whole fish) we thought was going to be like a mojara..but it was a deep fried whole fish. Impressive. Seem they got the meat chunks and deep fried them and then stuffed back into the fish's skeleton for presentation. The fish nuggets were tasty, hot and soft on the inside. The 3 leches cake was a great ending to our dinner. I was expecting it to taste like a traditional Mexican 3 leches but this one tasted like cinnamon-y or something. We all enjoyed it. Our server seemed to be in a rush or under a time crunch. That in turn made us feel pressured to order fast. As he repeated our order, I added on the ceviche appetizer and he looked disappointed. I asked if it could come out first and he said maybe but no promises bc he'd already sent our order to the kitchen. Idk how all that works, and seemed a bit confusing on why it couldn't happen. But anyways, he made it happen and ceviche came out first, and then our entrees shortly after. We weren't checked on much by him and asked other servers for things like more water (asked 3 times to 3 separate servers), the dessert menu 2 times to 2 different servers, then the host bc we were seated up front. A bag for our food containers. Service could've been better. I'm hoping it's because they were very full that night that our server was rushing us to order. But the food was delicious and hope to return.

Yelp
Limón is one of those rare restaurants that nails both flavor and atmosphere. The rotisserie chicken is perfectly seasoned -- juicy inside, crispy outside -- and the trio of dipping sauces (especially the aji verde) takes it over the top. The ceviche is bright, fresh, and full of citrusy punch, while the lomo saltado is rich and comforting with just the right amount of wok sear. Service is friendly and fast, even when it's busy, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe without being too loud. Great cocktail list too -- the pisco sour and maracuyá mojito are standouts. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and it's one of the best options in town for sharing plates with friends or a relaxed family dinner. Highly recommend: rotisserie chicken combo, ceviche clásico, and yuca fries. The Peruvian sour was also great . Our family of 3 had a fantastic Sunday night outing . Finally the dessert , tres leches and mango panacota was awesome Hats off to our server Roberto as well .

Yelp
Love Limón's in Walnut Creek! Every time I have come to this restaurant it's busy, clean, and the decor is modern and perfect for the environment. The lights are a bit bright, and would like to give a suggestion that they have dimmer lighting to give it more of a romantic vibe. However, I can't complain! The drinks came out fresh and perfect. The dishes were fresh! Fresh seafood! and fresh food! How could you not love it. The waiter was kind and took care of us. I like how the cooking was open so you could see the magic! And you could smell the aroma of the food while waiting! The bar was fully stocked and had epic views from every angle of the room. I will always come back to limón's and you cannot pass this place up when craving some Peruvian food! I will be back!

Yelp
Our server Wilfredo was amazing! He was super helpful and attentive. We were celebrating my cousin's birthday and he helped make it extra special. Food was delicious we ordered damn near half the menu! Drinks were amazing and the presentation phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
My dinner visit to Limón was a walk in with no reservation. I wasn't sure what time my party was going to be able to arrive and I have been to the location in Oakland without reservations so I decided to risk it. Parking was not the greatest. After a couple of drives around we found street parking about a block and a half away. When we arrived we walked in asked for a table of 4, we were immediately offered a table outside with the option of having the heater on as the inside seating was reserved so we took the table. Shortly after sitting we were welcomed with cups and water. A friendly waiter by the name of Wilfredo introduced himself to our table and took our drinks and appetizer orders. After warming up in our table, we realized that we would definitely be needing the heater as it was getting chilly outside. The heater was turned and we soon placed our dinner orders with a very attentive Wilfredo provided his recommendations on the drinks. I asked for something I had not had before from Limón so Wilfredo took the time to explain to me the types of drinks and the different piscos they have to offer. I found the information very helpful as I've been a huge fan of Peruvian cuisine but wasn't too familiar with their cocktails. I went for the Chicha Morada Sour and was not disappointed. For dinner our party decided to go with the traditional Lomo Saltado, Ceviche Limón and 16 oz rib eye steak dinner. Every dish was perfectly delicious and as always very flavorful. As we were finishing up with our dinner the restaurant was getting very busy, with many guest outside waiting and people walking so the outside area was definitely not intimate so I would definitely make reservations next time and I recommend for anyone that wants to visit to make a reservation as well. The grand finale was having their tres leches as we were celebrating a birthday and the attention to our celebration was very memorable thanks to Wilfredo and the staff. I would definitely be back to Limón in Walnut Creek to enjoy a delicious dish again soon!

Yelp
this is the best peruvian food in walnut creek! the meat is seasoned so well and is juicy. other places i've tried don't have enough seasoning but this was perfect. the interior is also nicely decorated although it can get loud if it's crowded.

Yelp
Michael was a fantastic server & bartender! He made us a Mango Cadillac Margarita. Was to die for. Also had 1/4 white meat rotisserie chicken w/ side salad and yuca frita. Yuca is my favorite. Super attentive and personable, while being professional. Opened early for us. Should have taken pictures of my food and drink, but I was enjoying myself so much that I forgot.

Yelp
Limon is a great representation of Peruvian food. I've been to the sf location many times but this my was first time here! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting ambiance sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular--each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and pour passion into every bite. Some of my favorite dishes are: SECO, THE POLLO A LA BRASA, FLAT IRON, and the FLAT IRON The service is equally impressive. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making you feel well taken care of. Whether you're here for a casual meal or a special occasion, they go above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect. Limon is one of my favorite spots. If you're looking for delicious food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I'm visiting from Nevada City and decided to take my friend to Limon. We had Wilfredo as our server, and he was professional, helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the food. He even recommended the best cocktails for us. Our experience was excellent, and we had an amazing time. Thank you, Wilfredo. Hasta pronto.

Yelp
Everything was sooo good and fresh! I came from Illinois to visit a friend and this definitely lived up to the hype. Servers were attentive and kind, and the dim lit ambiance tied it all together.

Yelp
Our server Wilfredo was the best! Very knowledgeable of the menu and great recommendations! Yucca fries, Julea and the chicken rotisserie was very flavorful. Lobster ceviche was on point. Lychee melon drink was delish! Service was great, they even pack your food for you. Parking across the street in the parking garage.

Yelp
All four of us celebrated wedding anniversaries. Pleasant & friendly servers, Roberto especially. Awesome margarita-mojito- pina colada drinks. Calamari was light and scrumptious. Pescado was fried and flavorful. Meat platter came in big portions. Arroz con Mariscos is was flavorful with lots of seafood. Lengua was cooked to perfection. Dulce de Leches and Cholate bandido were beautiful and delightful.

Yelp
It's a buzzy, crowded space with a nice bar. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the rotisserie chicken. The empanadas were nice and crispy inside with tasty filling. The ceviche had a great variety of seafood with a bit of nice sour flavor. Street parking can be challenging but there is a paid parking garage nearby.

Yelp
Staple to the Bay Area, Limon always has me coming back for their ceviche Camaron. Drinks are superb and hit the spot everytime. Each location (this one is in wc) is unique however posts the same cleanliness. Servers are quick and attentive - overall giving this place a solid spot in my books anytime I'm back in the bay.

Yelp
My friends and I went here for dinner for a birthday celebration. We anticipated that it would be busy since it was mother's day weekend, we booked our reservation far in advance. Coming in, the host told us we did not have a table currently despite a reservation but totally understandable to have an additional wait time for the holidays! We patiently waited and were finally seated on the second floor. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received. We love going here in general, the food is great and I've never had such a bad experience in comparison to yesterday and I've been here at peak rush times and even holiday celebrations. Our server, Niuosha did not really greet us, she automatically said what did we want to drink and I said we can start off with waters. And she said, of course there will be water, what else? I mentioned to her that we just sat down so we were unable to look at the menu. She leaves and when she comes back, she does not ask the whole table for their orders and just take the guys and skipped and I had to try to flag her down because she started walking away mid sentence. Every time we would ask for something, she would walk away. I dropped my napkin and my fork and due to her needing to go back and get new ones, she was like "well what else" and mentioned I made her go back there twice (which I did not mean to, of course I don't want to drop things!) I totally understand it being busy and especially, myself, used to working in the food industry, I am very empathetic and patient with servers but she continued to give attitude, not table touch, and it kind of made me sad because this was for an occasion and I did really like this place. I felt like the runners were checking in on us more than our own server. She was only kind when giving me the bill and handing for the tip. I then asked for her name and that was the only time I was given any kindness or attention. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious and the food is great. It really ruins the atmosphere with such poor service.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! Our server Wilfredo was great, he knew everything on the menu. Answered all our questions! He even recommended an amazing drink for my sister and I. Ambience is just amazing... music was on point. They need a dance floor! I highly recommend this restaurant- perfect fushion of ingredients to satisfy your palate with each dish. High five on the manager for stopping by our table to make sure we had a great experience!

Yelp
Bustling atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. Lighting is dim and music in background. Quick and efficient service. Came for a quick late lunch. Conchitas a la chalaca: 5 stars. Yummy delicious scallops ceviche served in the shell. I like the sweet potato and corn that served as a balance to the tartness of the lime and added different texture to the dish. Lomo Saltado: 4 stars. steak over fried. Steak pieces cooked well with a delicious sauce to dip the fries. Passionfruit sour: 4.5 stars. delicious. Tasted really well balanced. Lycheemelon: 4.5 stars. Cocktail on the sweeter side. Yummy flavors.
