"Limoncello 2, which opened under a year ago at 76 Salem St, thanked its customers and announced that the business had been sold. The original Limoncello location at 190 North St in Boston's North End remains open." - Terrence Doyle
Called the original Limoncello off North Street for a reservation and said they were full but Limoncello 2 just opened up a few blocks away. We called right over and got a reservation for two. It's just like the original only I think this was better! It felt like a more "casual" dining experience but the food was still absolutely incredible! I went with their signature dish, Rosette Limoncello, and it may have been the best dish I've ever tasted! It also went down really smooth with a glass of Limoncello! The service was good and the whole place was packed! Can't wait to come back!

We made reservations the same day on a Saturday. They were busy, although we only waited a few minutes. We got a bottle of wine and a couple different kinds of ravioli. Everything was great, including our very attentive server. Can't go wrong with Italian in the North End.

Everything is great at the new spot on Salem St.! The room is lively, but not too noisy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is as dependable and delicious as you have expected at the original spot. Make a reservation and you will not be disappointed.

The service was exceptional. The meatballs were wonderful. The rest of the fare was so so--very understated, marginal. Add to that the noise from being in the basement---make sure you are not seated in the basement--tiny, crowded, and noisy due to low ceiling. Very disappointing experience.
