The seven fishes special was amazing. The scallops and octopus appetizers we had were also phenomenal. Everything was divine. Thanks for a memorable meal!

Loved this place. The food is fresh and very flavorful. Had the Mellon prosciutto, and it was perfect. Also had pasta for main. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was very flavorful. Will definitely be back.

We are from the Annapolis area and frequently visit St. Michael’s. This was our first time at Limoncello. It won’t be the last. A great restaurant with an amazing menu. Our server, Alayna, was great. The gnocchi, flatbread, and panini were delicious! The atmosphere is great and the service was excellent. We will be back.

I LOVE this place! I've been here in the summer when you have to wait over an hour to get a seat and last weekend 12/15 we walked in on a Friday night at 5pm and were seated immediately. I am from New England and my favorite comfort food is fried calamari. They hand bread theirs here and fry it just so perfect that it's not too rubbery or too burnt. The two side dunking bowls I don't know what's in them but they just made what already tastes amazing, more amazing! For dinner I had the seafood medley complete with mussles, crab, more calamari and some killer scallops in a white wine and garlic sauce. All that was left at the end was a 1/8 inch of the sauce and Jay our favorite waiter came out with a fresh loaf of homade bread from the oven to soak it up. We were unable to order dessert because I could barely move after such a magnificent feast. I come here 2x a year and in St. Michael's there are alot of options for dining. I always choose Limoncello for it's friendly atmosphere, amazing waitstaff (ask for Jay) and food you'll never have to send back to the kitchen! Ciao y festeggiare i miei amici!

Google
The food and flavors were pretty good. Not many younger kid options. However, they had some items not on the menu. Prices seemed a little higher than necessary, but they gave healthy pours on their wine. The interior space was nice but not big. They had a patio area, but we did not sit back there. The patio area looked like it is a cute space.

Google
DO NOT MISS OUT!!! This place had the best food our entire trip!!! Absolutely stunning I can still remember the flavors on my pallet! But when we got the check….just kidding….ridiculous cheap! $34 for my husband and I. We have had fast food that costs more than that! Do not miss out! We will be back when in the area again! Bravo chef!

We ate at the bar. Good food, good service. The veal saltimbocca tasted incredible, we also got the Burrata and the beef carpaccio. Highly recommend getting multiple starters.

We love coming to St. Michael and decided to come here for our anniversary dinner date. It's a cozy place and can be a bit loud, so don't expect to have intimate conversations. The food was amazing and the cocktails were just perfect. The wait staff was slammed so there was a lag in the time it took to get the food, but it wasn't terrible. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Yelp
Stopped by here for an early dinner. Nice looking restaurant, even better food and service. The bruschetta was different to what we've had, but was very good - we plan to make it ourselves now! The noodles with scallops, shrimp and crab in a saffron sauce was amazing, and so was the caprese salad.

Jemily H.

Yelp
Now THIS place, is unreal. Beautiful interior plenty of spacious seating options, just quaint enough with a very sophisticated look. The lemons and decor were perfect. We came to Saint Michael, Maryland for my bday weekend :) and as a pasta fanatic, I quickly googled options and just KNEW we were going to go here on the day of. The pasta was amazing.....the options were plentiful. From classic dishes like bolognese and Alfredo to more unique dishes like the ones we split. The seafood pasta with the cream sauce was absolutely the favorite of the night. It was hard to put down the fork!! Servings were great and easily split. The server made our lovely dessert extra special for our celebration! This restaurant is a great staple to the old town saint Michael area and was one of the best meals we had while in town. Do not hesitate coming here! And come hungry!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner here on an overnight stop in St Michael's. We started with the two arugula salads. My step mother ordered the orecchette pugliesi with fennel sausage, my father ordered Sacchetti con pera & gorgonzola, my wife had the risotto di manzo and I had the risotto con gamberi & asparagi. All were delicious and we left very happy. Definitely stop in if you want some great Italian food with great service

Ken E.

Yelp
Good food. Solid drinks. Tourists are unusually friendly. Stick with the basic dishes and you can't go wrong.

Deb S.

Yelp
We got there early. Table was ready. Service was great. It got crowded as the night progressed. The ambiance was great despite the crowd. The food was delicious! I would definitely return.

Barbara H.

Yelp
Cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent; I've been here 4-5 times (mostly lunch) and it's consistently good. Service is attentive but not too much so. My favorite is the Risotto de Manzo. They have half price wines on Mondays and Tuesdays-next time!

Nathan M.

Yelp
First time visiting St Michaels MD, the receptionist at our hotel recommended a wonderful little place on the Main Street named Limoncello. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The menu is well balanced with a multitude of choices, but we ended up choosing a hand full of dishes based upon our server's recommendations. The grilled calamari, was one of the favorites as well as the pappardelle allo zafferano. The sauce was rich, noodles were cooked perfectly, and shrimp and scallops were properly cooked. Such a pleasure to find this little gem in a very quiet low key environment like St Michales. We will definitely be back during our next visit.

Steve C.

Yelp
We spent the weekend in Saint Michaels and had multiple people say this was the best restaurant in town, so we were excited for dinner. The line to be seated was hectic. We were happy to get an excellent table in the back corner, away from the hostess stand, but our server clearly only checked in on the tables that were in his line of site. I waited the entire meal to get a refill on the cocktail that I ordered at the beginning of the meal. The food did not live up to expectations. We were expecting fresh pasta and were served what was clearly frozen and cooked meals, in oversized portions. The food was 3-star, but the service was much worse.

Dorothy B.

Yelp
This Italian food resturant features influencer photo op on the outdoor seating area. The best part of the visit was the cocktails, highly recommend the chocolate limoncello.

Kathryn G.

Yelp
The food is delicious! I had the lobster ravioli. The craft cocktail, Lemonberry smash, was very refreshing. Our server was very personable and friendly. Atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!

Shirley B.

Yelp
Wow! What a wonderful place with excellent food, service and ambiance. We celebrated my birthday last night with an outstanding dinner. Started with the limoncello breeze martini, mussels and clams along with Cesar salad. The bread was warm, fresh and delicious. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the New York strip. We took our leftovers home and enjoyed the rest of the steak today. Our server, Mecca was super friendly and attentive. The finale of a surprise birthday dessert of tiramisu was amazing. Pricey, but well worth it. Can't wait to go back again.

Jeanne S.

Yelp
Wonderful little Italian restaurant in center of town. THE most delicious food! Friendly staff. Recommended

Richard T.

Yelp
Fantastic food- amazing sauces and great atmosphere, Staff is a tad befuddled, but very nice. Prices are reasonable- definitely recommend

Will A.

Yelp
Fabulous experience with the locals during Happy Hour. Served thoughtfully by Shea and entertained by some local legends hanging at the bar. Homemade Limocello made my night, but the munchies were great, too. The best thing was the vibe ad the people... patrons and employees. We love St. Michael's now and Limocello is at the top of our list!

Lynda F.

Yelp
Wonderful! Great drinks! Best Italian food in a long while! Try the paninis and limoncello blush. Enjoy!

Gwen S.

Yelp
We had a light lunch which included a mixed salad and melon with prosciutto. The salad was fine as was the melon but the prosciutto was a distant cousin to the real thing. The meat was gray, had no fat marbling and tasted and looked more like corned beef than genuine prosciutto. The waitress had no explanation and the manager explanation was " the reason it does look like the marbled pink prosciutto is because our cut is thick". It was useless to belabor this point.

Thomas G.

Yelp
Shrimp Scampi App was amazingly delicious. Salads were amazing! Hot fresh bread. Is best around. The Seafood Stew was average. Red Snapper Special was average. Cheese Cake nuts! Waiter, Tobias very good! Hostess, meeeh. Glad we could make it to dinner. This place is a staple when we visit St. Michael's.

George S.

Yelp
Delicious Italian Food, generous portions, great drinks & a very comfortable atmosphere! One of St. Michael's most recommend places for a reason! Make reservations!

Kayla W.

Yelp
I was super impressed with this place! We came for a birthday dinner. It's small inside so it can feel a little tight. Be sure to make reservations beforehand! We were seated in the back under what looked like lemon vines. Cool ambiance. The two of us seated against the wall were on a bench with some nice throw pillows. Very cozy. It was a little dark, but If that's my only complaint then thats not enough to keep me from returning. The meal is started with bread and oil with balsamic and some garlic. The garlic in there was sweet and delicious! As an appetizer we got Gamberi Gondola. THIS WAS INCREDIBLE! After we finished it I wouldn't let them take the dish so I could soak it all up with the bread. You NEED to get this! All of our pastas were amazing. Great spot for a delicious dinner in the area.

Suzanne M.

Yelp
What a great little Italian restaurant if you're ever in town definitely give it a shout out we had a great meal the ambience was good the service was excellent We came here for lunch and had the shrimp risotto a wonderful salad such a cool little place I love the inside of it the ambience was adorable

Cassie M.

Yelp
Incredibly disappointed. The pictures on Yelp looked really good & I was eager to try it on my girls trip with my Mother & sister. We came in at 4pm & it was busy from the Xmas events, & they said we couldn't get a table until 9:30pm!!! So we opted to sit at the bar, even then there was a wait, and we finally get one seat for the three of us. & are ready to order, but before we could get anything (even a glass of water) they needed to see our ID first, & we were quickly denied because my sister & I have under 28 Virginia, vertical licenses! They said we could only stay if we had our passports with us. SMH, because who doesn't have their passports to cross the river to Saint Michael's, Maryland?! We sure didn't so we were prompted to leave no apology or any sort of alternative option. The manager also couldn't care less. So we forced to leave or come back at 9:30PM. Needless to say we won't ever be coming back, they clearly don't care about their customers.

Missy B.

Yelp
Always yummy and great service. For a truly well-crafted meal with great service, go to Limoncello while in St. Michaels.

Howard C.

Yelp
Wonderful food and excellent service. Had lunch here and decided to come back for dinner. The risotto was great along with the tiramisu for dessert. It is my go to for great Italian cuisine in St. Michaels. I give it five stars which I have never done in the past for any restaurant.

Bob M.

Yelp
We were skeptical being that we had been to their Baltimore (Locust Point) location once, and were not at all impressed, but after speaking to a few locals, we gave it a shot, and were very pleased! A couple excellent craft cocktails started us off, followed by their burrata app that was fresh and creamy served with very decent tomatoes considering it's winter. We followed this with house made lobster ravioli, and sacchetti con pera & gorgonzola, which I've only had at one other Italian restaurant, and it was excellent! Service & the vibe made for a wonderful meal. Reservations suggested, as this is a local hot spot, but keep in mind this is for the St Michaels location, and NOT the Locust Point location.

Ian S.

Yelp
Incredible dinner on our night away - what a great spot! Made a reservation, seated promptly, everyone super friendly and quick. Drinks were great, bread was delicious and warm. We loved our appetizers, and the meal was a delight. The dessert menu looked great, but we were stuffed - next time for sure. We had a blast and are so glad we chose Limoncello as our spot. This was fabulous.

Bryan H.

Yelp
Have ate here several times the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The service is terrible , last time we sat at the bar & no one even acknowledged us. This has happened 2 times. The food is so inconsistent. For price they charge you are better off going to Ava's up the street or going to Easton. I won't go back!!!!

Kurt G.

Yelp
Excellent takeout during our family vacation. Food was well prepared and tasty The 8 of us all found food we liked

Min Z.

Yelp
It's more rustic, not as modern or fancy as the other Limoncello in Baltimore. The menu was different too, meant for locals and tourists alike with quick and cheaper food, not for a fine dining place. The atmosphere and service were okay. Clearly short staffed, they had to turn away some customers. It was dizzy for me to watch waitresses running around. The dishes we tried: 3* Bruschetta: ordinary, no comparison to the sister Limoncello in Baltimore. I was disappointed. 3*Funghetti pizzette: freshly cooked and okay. 3*Pappardelle allo Zafferano: rich and tasty, but not healthy. The sauce was thick and extremely rich, it felt like the blood flow slowed down as soon as I ate it, not good for cholesterol for sure. 4*Chocolate soufflé: very good, could eat one more. 3*Mango cheesecake: ordinary. Tasted like cinnamon cheesecake with tiny drops of mango sauce on top.

Lexie M.

Yelp
Limoncello was pretty decent but I expected more based on the reviews. The service was okay but not outstanding. The bread to start was fresh and I liked the oil that came with it. For appetizers we ordered a Caesar salad which was below average and the calamari which was pretty good. For my entree I ordered the lobster ravioli, it came with about 7 or 8 raviolis and was pretty filling but it didn't have a lot of lobster meat inside which was disappointing. Overall, it was okay but I definitely expected more

Joanna D.

Yelp
Absolutely disgusted with this place and the way they treated my daughter and her boyfriend. They made them feel completely uncomfortable because another employee there does not like them. They did not even react with this employee and was basically told not to come back because of it. Bad customer service!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Ask for Olga or Kristen! This is authentic Italian. Third meal there in a few years. Delicious salads, apps, specials (scallops with risotto & saffron). Canolli (sp?) and cream puffs truly outstanding.

Libby F.

Yelp
Enjoyed a delicious dinner outside at the cafe. The bread is likely the BEST I have ever had! House made pasta was delicious and the service was wonderful.

Aaron D.

Yelp
Came here for a 30th anniversary dinner after a good day in town. Didn't pan out. If you are a local, you are greeted warmly and attended to. If you are not you get a bare bones greeting then forgotten. Food was ok.

Jim R.

Yelp
It appears that Saint Michael's "closes" somewhere between 5 & 6 pm - even on a Friday night - thank goodness we had dinner reservations for 5:15! By somewhere around 6 or so, the place was almost full, and I can see why. There were 7 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Obviously I couldn't take pictures of all the selections but shot a few. I also don't remember what everyone had but . . . Antipasti ran from Crispy Calamari to Bruschetta to one of the best Burrata & Pomodori (fresh mozzarella with a creamy center, heirloom tomatoes, fresh basil with a balsamic glaze) that I've had in a long time. All of the Entrees were delicious and included Seafood Risotto with Shrimp, Mussels, Clams and Calamari; A pasta dish called Paccheri alla Amatriciana which was an extra wide tube pasta with caramelized onions, bacon & pancetta in a Marinara sauce. The Branzino con Escarole was a large filleted piece of pan-seared crispy skin striped Sea Bass. Very Very Good. Not really sure what the other end of the tabled ordered but as I said, everyone was commenting on how excellent their food was. Antipasti run in the $12 to $16 range with in-house made pastas and other entrees $19 to $28. Extremely reasonable prices for such a wonderful dinner. Book a table if you're in the area; you won't be disappointed.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Excellent pasta and nice service! Highly recommend the pear stuffed pasta purses with Gorgonzola sauce!

Nicole G.

Yelp
Y'all... this is some of the best food I've had in my life. I had a Chilean sea bass special that blew my mind. Then the Marsala infused sabayon- incredible. Attentive staff and excellent service as well. A MUST VISIT if you're in St. Michael's.

Dennis M.

Yelp
Nice Sunday lunch while walking around St. Michaels. I made a quick reservation while walking via open table. We showed up on time and our party of 4 were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We ordered drinks, with 2 of us having a nice Prosecco, and the other 2 enjoying a menu cocktail. We ordered and were offered fresh bread with oil / garlic. Quite excellent. Food arrived quickly and everyone was very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Absolutely would recommend to all. Weather townies or visiting guests. Ian was the best waiter. Superb service and beyond what could be asked for. Will be back everytime I'm here

Marie B.

Yelp
It is a quaint restaurant in downtown St Michael's. We had a reservation on a Saturday at 5:30 and the place had already many tables occupied. We were given a table under the speaker which could have made conversation very difficult. We asked to change table and our waiter first answered that all the tables will have the same problem but another staff member took us to a different table. When I ordered my meal with the Italian name on the menu, our server did not understand. We had to show her the dish on the menu. I still don't know if I mispronounced the name or if she was not familiar with the names in Italian. Then in the middle of the meal, without asking the server took the bread plate that still had the toasted bread that came with my dish. I understand, that in order to save space, I piled up the two bread dishes that I had in front of me, but I think that she should gave asked before removing them. Other than these facts, we all really loved our meal. Our meals at Limoncello were delicious which is surprising for an Italian restaurant in the US.

Susan C.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and ambiance. So good for lunch we're coming back for dinner!

Victoria S.

Yelp
Delisioso!!!!! After boating all day on the Chesapeake, from Norfolk , it was such a delight . We were very impressed by the gourmet dinner ! We had the Tuscan Stew, Seafood Paperdella, and wine bottles were 1/2 price! I recommend this restaurant highly!

Nancy F.

Yelp
We came here on the recommendation of a friend. I had the walnut gnocchi she recommended. It was delicious. My husband wanted lasagna but they didn't have it. Menu was limited.. they recommended a bolongnese dish similar to lasagna in taste and he really liked it. Very friendly and knowledgable staff.

Ivan T.

Yelp
Awesome Food, Excellent Service, Nice Lounge Area. I Would Surely Go There Again And Recommend It To All

Sherman L.

Yelp
Taken care of at the bar for dinner! With no reservation on a Saturday night! Carpaccio and wild boar with housemade egg noodles were terrific. Friendly service, lively atmosphere. Looking forward to returning to "the cello."

R L.

Yelp
Wow. Tried this place for lunch. What a fantastic stop. Excellent food, menu and service. Must try in at Michael's.

Sandy B.

Yelp
Had dinner at Limoncello on the back patio on a beautiful late spring evening. The food is excellent, we had the Melon Prosciutto app a Caesar salad, Lobster Ravioli, and the Veal Saltimbocca. All the dishes were well prepared and flavorful. Our complaint is the timing of the meal. We specifically asked the sever about pacing and she assured us she'd pace our meal and would take our entire order. That didn't happen. We received our 1st course before we even got 1/2 way through a cocktail and a bread serving. No sooner did we start our 1st course, and the full meal showed up. This is the problem with using food runners. The food runner literally had no room to put our entrees on the table. She offered to take those app plates but we were still eating. We should have rejected the entrées. I'll take the blame and in the future order one item at a time. $100 for dinner for 2 is a night out, and we want it to feel that way. One more thing I always get the core of the Romaine head in my salad! How is that possible! Thanks for listening.

Jasmin P.

Yelp
So great that we went two nights in a row! Partially to take advantage of 1/2 price wine on Mondays and Tuesdays, and partially to try totally different things on the menu (I had to try that lobster ravioli in the pictures). This is a fantastic place to linger over dinner with your bottle of wine, and just soak in the chill vibes of little Saint Michael's! Not sure what it's like on the weekend (we imagine packed) but we didn't need a reservation on Monday or Tuesday.

Frank V.

Yelp
Came to St. Michaels for a small two night getaway. Read some good reviews about this place so we thought to try it out. The BEST Lobster Ravioli I've ever had in a red sauce. My wife had the seafood pasta which she liked very much. She also had a Chocolate Martini - she said it was excellent. Great place!!

Jen H.

Yelp
Wonderful dinner! My husband and I came here for dinner over Memorial Day weekend. For starters my husband got the half Caesar salad and I had the Caprese salad. Both were very good. The Caprese salad wasn't the traditional you would expect with thick cuts of tomatoes topped with mozzarella cheese and drizzled with balsamic and EVOO. It was presented as more of a traditional salad with everything mixed together and not stacked. For our main meals I had the Pappardelle allo Zafferano and my husband had the Vitello al Carciofi and both were delicious. The Pappardelle dish was so beautiful!! And it came with an abundance of delicious seafood on top. For dessert my husband had an old fashion with the perfiteroles dessert special, and I had a cappuccino with the tiramisu. Again, desserts were fabulous. I knocked off points only for some aspects of service. It took a while for our waters to get refilled and when I asked for pepper for the dipping oil for the bread, I was handed a small pepper shaker instead of being offered fresh ground pepper from the pepper mill that was three feet away. Besides these minor issues though, the food itself was definitely worth 5 stars. We will definitely return to this restaurant!

Jacquelyn M.

Yelp
Stopped in here to try this pineapple jalepeno margarita they had advertised. The place is beautifully decorated, but service was a bit slow because it seemed they were understaffed. We wanted to sit at the bar, but were told no because they had no bartender. My margarita was yummy and that pasta was great! This would be a good place to stop in if you are in the mood for a different twist on traditional Italian food.
