Lincoln FireFighter's Reception Hall

Great reception facility. Held my mother's Celebration of Life here and Debbie was easy to work with and a professional. The kitchen, food service area, bathrooms, main hall room are all well maintained and clean. Very functional and multipurpose. The decorative hanging lights are "permanently" there but don't have to be turned on. They have a stage and Audio Visual equipment. Bar available and all services needed. Would highly recommend for many purposes: meeting, fundraiser event, wedding, funeral/celebration of life, any banquet function.

There's not another event center that can match the overall quality of customer service here. So good! Bravo!

This was the perfect venue for my son's graduation party last month. We couldn't have been happier with the service, the facility and the price. Everything is clean and the staff go out of the their way to make your event perfect. We will be back for future events!

Attended the 44th Winter rock and mineral show. The meeting area is a nice size and a great place to host small events

We used the hall for my daughter's wedding reception. It is a wonderful facility. We had plenty of room for our tables, food, and dance floor. The decorations are beautiful. We had so many compliments from our guests. The staff is great to work with, friendly, and accommodating. They have great suggestions to help you plan your event. There is plenty of off-street parking. Good size kitchen with a commercial refrigerator, stove, freezer and microwave. It was easy for 8 of us to work in there. Or plenty of room for a caterer to set up. There is a separate area for serving food which is great. The manager was there all day so we didn't have to worry about leaving someone there or making sure the key always made it with the right person. We were able to come and go as needed throughout the day. The price is very reasonable. This is the first place I would choose if I have another large event.

We had our sons graduation party here last month. It was perfect. Debbie and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. They made everything so easy. The facilities were spacious, clean and the decor looked great. Would defiantly recommend having events here. Thanks again to the staff for all their help!

We chose the Lincoln Firefighters Hall for our Wedding Reception and it was a perfect fit for our event. We packed it with close to 300 people and it was decorated with our Las Vegas wedding theme. The Hall is plenty big, the kitchen is great and the buffet line room is perfect to feed your guests in a timely manner. Debbie is Awesome to work with and took care of all of our needs. The reception had no snags and all of our guests really enjoyed themselves. We liked being able to choose our own food caterer. The parking lot has plenty of spots and the hall is located in a very accessible area. I recommend this Hall for your event.

We held a celebration of life at the Lincoln Firefighter's Reception Hall on a Sunday afternoon. I can't say enough about Debbie and the facility. The facility is gorgeous, well stocked and had all kinds of extras that you can choose to use for your event. Great sound system. Debbie went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and went the extra mile to make last minute items for us. Everything was set up just as discussed when we arrived. She was involved through the whole process and so easy to work with. The bartender was great and so accommodating when we had a featured drink request. Thank you so much! We will definitely look to you if we ever need an event space in Lincoln again!

No, I don't race, but my husband does! And befoa any of you get any kine preconceived notions of a spiky-haired, skinny and lanky Japanee/Korean/Chinee who binges on Fast & Da Furious movies, Initial D manga, and Top Gear (da Europe version; U.S. one sucks monkey butt), who illegally races on da H-2 and H-3 freeway in da middle of da nite, and goes to Tantalus fo' midnite drift runs .... YOU'RE ACTUALLY RIGHT! NOT! He's a "fluffy", dark Hawaiian dude dat I affectionately call "Da Fat & Da Furious" (based on comedian Gabriel Iglesias' hilarious joke) who has done autocrossing fo' ovah a decade now. WHAT AUTOCROSSING (OR "AUTOX") IS .... A timed competition wea cars race, one at a time, on a defined course, and da goal is fo' have da fastest time. It's a sport dat requires speed, but mo' so, you need fo' have precision and expertise behind da wheel. WHAT AUTOX IS ***NOT*** .... - Illegal road racing - Drifting - Crap you see in movies like da Fast & Da Furious FOR MO' INFO ... It was spacious, clean, and capable of holding large parties up to 300 people. A parking lot dat holds up to 90 cars and no pukas!!! (puka = "hole" in Hawaiian; if you live in Hawai'i, especially on O'ahu, majority of our roads and highways look like da equivalent of Swiss cheese). Has a large commercial kitchen or you can bring your own catering/food. Very impressive and located rite across from da Museum of American Speed dat has several HUMANGOUS floors of race cars, engines, items related to speed (push carts, bikes, etc.), car-related merchandise (lunch boxes, toys, etc.), antiques, and mo'! I guess with all da land in Corntown, U.S.A. dey can afford fo' have such a spacious and huge facility ... lucky buggahs! REVIEW #256

They did an amazing job decorating for our wedding and tending the bar. They took care of so much that I didn't have to worry about anything on my big day! I couldn't be happier with their services or the prices! If you're looking for a beautiful venue, this is it!! Thank you Debbie and Staff for all you did!!

I have been to several wedding receptions and the hall., been to meetings there and a few holiday parties. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I like that they don't let people get too unruly or misbehave. I like seeing bartenders check ID's and I have even seen the bartenders walk around the and "check" on the patrons. The hall is beautiful. The sound system is great. The hall manager was great to work with. You can bring in your own caterer, and trust me it is hard to find a hall that will let you pick your own caterer. I would highly recommend hosting your event at the hall. The Lincoln Board of Realtor's hosts their Holiday Party every year at the hall and we always have a great time.

I have rented this establishment for 5 events and have been extremely impressed by the staff, facilities and rental cost. This is the best reception hall in town for the price. The hall is extremely clean and well kept. The hall has more than enough parking spaces with overflow parking in the street. The hall has an awesome kitchen and serving area. I would personally recommend this hall to anyone.

Beware! If you have any unruly guests, the staff will close the place down, and kick everyone out without warning or recourse. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

We had our wedding reception at the Firefighter's hall in July, and really enjoyed the whole experience. Julie was very helpful in explaining how things worked, getting things ordered for the bar, and accommodating what we were looking for. The hall was beautiful, the linens and tables were set up perfectly and on time, and the decorations they have available for use were lovely and a great supplement to what we provided ourselves. The staff were courteous and easy to work with. All in all, we would highly recommend if you are looking for a reception site!
