Nice atmosphere, quick service. Ordered an oat cappuccino and found that it was mostly smooth. Appreciated the perfectly frothed milk (and the latte art). Came here because it was walking distance to Brooklyn Botanic Gardens (where, you cannot bring visible outside food or drink -- just a heads up).

How is this place not more popular?? Perhaps the best kept secret in Prospect Heights. Already ate about half of the salad before snapping this photo (I ordered mine without croutons) so portions clearly sizable. Delivery always super fast and service dining in is just the same. A favorite.

I went in there for the first time to grab breakfast and was excited to try them out since their Google reviews are great... but I was only disappointed in my breakfast. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with avocado (two: one for myself and one for my husband) and two hot chocolates: needless to say the bacon egg and cheese was a disappointment. The bacon was undercooked and all you get is literally one strip of bacon. I paid around $40 and it was NOT worth it at all. The hot chocolate was alright but definitely not worth the price... it was not hot but warm... I called the order over the phone so I don't know what the service is like but when I walked in I did not feel welcomed. As far as the ambiance... it seemed chill when I walked in but again not too sure because I picked up and left.

My husband and I have come here a few times for lunch after visiting the BK Botanical Gardens and sat outside to eat. We’ve ordered the burger, veggie sandwich, lentil soup and kale salad with chicken. Everything we’ve ordered here has been fresh and tasty, which keeps us coming back. The fries are especially good! Great go-to place for lunch if you’re in the area.

No complaints on the coffee and the breakfast sandwich I had, those were great, but if I spent close to $40 for 2 people, was told there is a designated laptop area to hang out in, and then wifi is turned off shortly after sitting down in order to discourage the laptop use they said was ok, that feels a bit misleading on the shop’s end. Just outright say we can’t be there with a laptop instead of letting people spend a bunch of money only to have to leave somewhere else 👎🏽😒

Came in this morning with my partner to grab some coffee. I come to this cafe for coffee all the time on my way to work & tell people frequently that they have the best latte in the neighborhood. My partner thought he ordered a latte, but must’ve accidentally said coffee. When I see him go up to politely say something to the guy at the register to switch it out, he rudely remarks how he ordered coffee (looking at my partner like he is stupid for being confused) & didn’t offer to instead get him what he intended to order. Even if it meant charging us the difference. There’s a way to go about honest miscommunications & that’s not it. Both of us are in the service industry & it is so utterly disappointing to see employees interact with guests like that, let alone be on the receiving end of it. What’s the price difference between a drip coffee & a latte? A couple of dollars? We would’ve gladly paid the price adjustment to have what we wanted. Working with guests to give them a happy experience can sometimes be a matter of having a sliver of empathy. Had to give two stars because not even the best latte can save underwhelming customer service. Now both of us are hesitant about coming back and definitely regret leaving the 22% gratuity.

Atmosphere is great, food is decent. I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon well done. The bacon wasn’t well done and the sandwich was greasy. That was a turn down for me. I also ordered the avocado and egg sandwich which came on a multigrain bun. Not impressed, but good enough. The place got packed at around 10am (Sunday) there are plenty seats inside and outside. The place has a restaurant/casual bar vibe. Family friendly, as I saw couples with strollers.

I don’t know how this place has good reviews. I ordered an egg sandwich with bacon and what was advertised as a fresh squeezed OJ. When I saw the OJ being poured from a container, I asked and only then was told it was not fresh squeezed. I asked for a refund on that. Also the egg sandwich shows $7.25 on the menu +$2.50 for bacon. I was charged $9.75 for the sandwich and $2.50 for one slice of soaked in grease bacon! Terrible!
